We had headed into Geelong today to take some books back to the library and get a few more out.
With the weather we have been having it has been having lately we didn't want to be out of the car for long looking for a cache.
We arrived at the spot and made our way to GZ.
We made a relatively quick find of a cache that was in reasonable condition.
Thank you for this cache Na'wal.

A quick and easy find…. Loved the weapon of choice.
However, the cache inside the weapon was absolutely full of water. The bag contained water as well, and, obviously the weapon too.
Thank goodness the log is waterproof paper!
We tipped it all out.
It was amazing to see the small cache and sealed bag so flooded.
Only explanation is the drain. Recent rains have been really heavy.

Nicely hidden. Found by one of my geokids, his first find so as you can imagine he was very excited. There was only a log inside so we left a little something. TFTC
Out with au.fait in Geelong. This was our first day of caching together since covid lockdown.
A beautiful day for a walk, then a small search before locating the cache. Thanks Na’wal

Met up with the delightful echidna44 for a day of caching in the Corio Norlane area and walking many kilometres along the extensive walking/bike trails. A perfect day, perfect company and an interesting cache. Thanks Na’wal
Out for a stroll getting my cache for the day after my sparring session for boxing this morning. As always am awesome themed hide here. Also a reminder I need to go see birds of prey! Thanks for the hide
*3 Mar 2019, Found @ 1:24 pm, Find # 8973.*
Today I decided to make to trip to Lara to join in on the clean up but after that was done before heading home I decided to find some more caches in the area.
I have found a few from this series but I still have a few to go, this one was closeby and met the criteria for today with a T2 or higher rating so I went for a look.
I was met with a few possibilities at GZ and after looking at the wrong ones first, the cache object was found soon after.
**Thanks to Na'wal for placing this cache.**

Not where I first thought but soon found it. Good cache to go along with a bike ride on a spring morning
[:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort.

My daughter's favourite super villan. She was bursting to do this one. After a quick search in the wrong area we moved to GZ and found it. "Smashed it"
Thx very much for the effort and thought that goes into the making and placement of this series of caches.

A meeting for work in G town today had me leave a little early to nab a quick cache or two! An easy find here - got a bit wet though as it had rained so I came out rather damp! Cool cache. Many thanks
Been waiting for this one to be replaced. Fab container
Another find by the McPhail family... TFTC

Found by Mary & David at 1410. A short walk across from Leila Cres. Found the cache shortly afterwards. Nice views back to the north east. Our thanks to Na'wal.
I ventured here to find some <3
Sadly my eyes did not help as the hyperthermia kicked in.
I'll use the excuse it was -1 degrees her at 6:45am as I arrived.
Still fairly dark with no sunrise yet [)]
I wanted to smiley before the nearby Canada event.
Oh well just an excuse to return.

Gave this a pretty good search. Hint didn't help me much, unfortunately. I hope it's found soon.
We had a pretty extensive search for this under cover of darkness, however the cache was nowhere to be found.
Have been looking at this one for a while now- I'm keen to make it through the whole Batman series and this was number 3! Great work on the theme of the container! Very cool! Visited with a TB, but a visit only. TFTC
Nice quick find, enjoying the walk along the path, love the revegetation that's going on. TFTC
Very cool cache container! The lid was very hard to get off!! Inside was the startings of an ant colony. Let's hope I scared them away enough that they don't decide to take up residence there. Tftc.
Visiting some friends nearby and I pulled out my phone to see what was close by. Discovered this one. Then I proceeded to tell one of the kids we were visiting about this cache, and to my surprise he said "I've already found that one". Here I was thinking I'd take him out on an introductory tour, but no. Sat and chatted for a while, then as we headed off we pulled over for a quick find. Nice cache! Thanks.
A short but chilly walk to this one ! Found with Ohm3 who spotted this great container ! TFTC
Found with Outrangerous. For once the GPS was accurate. Nice container. Dropped off a TB. TFTC
Another cool camo Na'wal. We have picked up a few of this series today. Thanks, we are enjoying the finds.
Caching with Tomstache, Glanville Girls and ST37E today while in Geelong for the events.
Caching with Tomstache, Glanville Girls and ST37E today while in Geelong for the events.
In the area today with ST37e, McLookers and Tomstache to attend the two events in the area and pick up a couple of caches along the way. This was the second find in this series today. We'll be back to find more! Thanks for the hide. Na'wal.

What a tale - who was the Joker here? We felt as if we were being led toward the GZ by none other than the sidekick herself!
The container is in really good shape, was easy to open and physically write our name in the log; rather than just call in for a smilie.
Now we off in search of The Commissioner.
Our thanks to Na'wal for bringing us here.

Rode to school to pick up the kids today and decided to grab this cache, love the container. Took nothing. Thanks!!
The cache is very wet. Log book damp not sure how water is getting into log. Nice hide an other batman done.
Great cache gets a Fav from me. Quickly spotted, coords spot on, took a while to open, bit wet inside, but log container in good shape. TFTC
Found while taking geodog for a walk. No pen so log not signed, but TB dropped off.TFTC.
Dad of the Sims family has recently gone on a 'cache a day' craze. Not being sure what the rest of us had managed on our travels, he found himself close to this one and decided to stop and be sure we had at least 1 for the day. Almost through this series now. Thanks to Na'wal for hiding them all!
Our GPS was telling fibs initially and we ended up searching where some very protective ants were. Geocaching in sandals isn't always a good idea... The cache was obvious once we spotted it (isn't that always the way). No troubles opening it and all in good nick. TFTC and another in the series.
Thanks Na'wal for educating us about all things Batman! Here is another character whose cache we found quickly. Similar to the previous finder, we found it hard to open the container and then found water and ants inside. The inner container is reasonably ok though also a bit damp. Luckily, somebody placed a bag of silica gel inside. Log is fine.

I managed to park pretty close to this one and soon had the cache to hand. The lid was rather hard to remove so imagine my surprise when I found water inside! Not at all sure how it got in there. The log and contents were dry though so after I drained it all was well.
Find #368 at 4:57, this is my fourth find for the day because Sunday is geocaching day for us! Great little cache and I look forward to finishing the batman series! Thanks for the cache/series!
Nearly completed the Batman series, one to go.
I wasn't sure what I'd be looking for but once at GZ the cache stood out.
Thanks for the Cache Na'wal

Hiding from the locals and the cyclists this cache was a difficult open for GeoKid bit we managed the find. The local kids seemed to have a van for their cubby house, but didn't bother too much as we walked on by to make it to the path. A cyclist was walking up the incline as we neared GZ so we kept going and asked him where the path went (i.e. where he was coming from) "I don't know" was the interesting reply. As he puffed his way past GZ we returned to claim the find! TFTC

After pretending to make an urgent phone call as a muggle couple and their dog walked past we found this great cache with ease. Another great themed cache from the Batman Master at the end of the aptly named street. TFTC Na'wal
Having done the rest of the hides in this series, I was expecting something out of the ordinary. Once we actually found a good place to park the hunt was on. Even though it was a lovely sunny day, there no muggles making use of the track. That's fine by me, no-one to disturb us. Once at GZ an instant smile lit up my face. I knew it wouldn't be no "plain jane " cache and it wasn't. Very clever, you never disappoint me with your imagination. [^][^] TFTC Na'wal
After guessing the GPS was wrong, being on the ring road, we used a bit of common sense, something most GPS's don't have, and soon had this cache in hand.
Miss Quinn certainly hit the nail on the head with this one!

I wish I had double checked the additional waypoints and seen the parking coordinates. Not that it mattered as we found a slightly different access method and then had an enjoyable stroll to GZ. What awaited us was an excellent container, and well worth the walk. Definitely a favourite. I recall a young Simon referring to this particular character as Marley Quinn, so it has quite fond memories for me.
Thanks Na'wal for this hide, it was a real cracker and another great cache in this series.

A blustery cold winters day won't hold me back from coming out this way for a spot of caching and stopping here to have a look for this cache which was found with accurate co-ords and in good condition. A mis-planning had us parking in the next state and hiking it over to GZ, several days later we arrived to notice we could have parked over there as was discovered in the given parking co-ords - doh! An impressively manufactured cache was found here too. Harley Quinn was one of my favorite characters....I guess I like the nutty types.
Thanks Na'wal for making this an enjoyable day exploring.

The great write up about Harley Quinn now explains her weapon of choice. Once again you amaze me with this series of caches. It was was a short walk to GZ again after travelling in a circle along the ring road courtesy of my GPS.

Out and about on this holiday Monday and decided to grab this one as our 1600th find. A short walk to GZ and found easily. Had a bit of trouble getting the lid off and the camo had a bit of water in it. Cache was still in good condition. As usual with the CO a nice unique hide TFTC and for the smilie on the map
Did not take long to find this well constructed different cache in its good hiding place! A very intriguing weapon of choice for Harley. Left TB and some things for geokids to enjoy.
TFTC Na'wal and for the interesting story in your notes!

Suscoe's second find of the morning as we were out dealing with some recent caches that we were yet to visit.
This was a quick walk and thankfully a quick find as the rain was just starting to fall.
Thanks to Na'wal for placing this cache and for continuing the series.
A nice effort with the camo.
A quick walk back to the car before the rain got any heavier.

Had to do some banking for work and decided to take a caching detour on my way home. Above power lines had my iPhone jumpy. Resorted to PAF and found the cache don't know how I didn't spot it the first time TFTC
With the rain continuing to make everything damp, it was time to get out of the house and put another smiley on the map. I saw this guy pop up just as my toast did likewise and knowing I'd be pushing it to get across town that fast, I left it for a day when I needed a find which didn't involve a 60km+ round trip. Well, we can see how long it lasted before I needed that find !
And so, I left the ailing Geomonkey at home, rounded up Geoboy #1 (who is a fan of Batman but not of caching) and off we went. A couple of questions about the subject of this cache and it was soon clear that he was well-versed on this particular character and her preferred weapon. I enquired how he had come by this knowledge and received the answer: "Lego Batman!" Clearly all that screen-time is good for something !
So we parked nearby (although not quite as nearby as some recent finders ) and wandered over. As I clambered around he looked from a different angle but it was not until I moved to join him that I discovered that (as my mother would say) "if it was a dog it would have bitten him ".
And then as the rain continued to fall we extracted the cache, signed the log and returned it all before retreating to somewhere drier.
Geoboy #1 then spent an entertaining ride home investigating the cache notes for the other caches in this series .
Thanks Na'wal! Can't wait for the next instalment !

Another Monday had come around again, this time it was School Holidays and we had some extra time off, so that gave us more time to cache. Sfter picking up a few caches that had been on our Radar for some time we headed down to Geelong, to clean us several Puzzles that had been in our solved list for some time. Thanks Na'wal for the cache.
First to log, but STF at 7h40. Thanks for the great cache, Na'wal - keep them coming!
