#500 With hopes of clearing out a good portion of caches in Mulligans, especially those ones further out DELTA SQUAD assembled. We trekked for approximately 15 km over a 6.5 hour period. Upon exiting the reserve we only had one DNF, a very successful day!

Woohoo!! My 500th find, I’ve really picked up the pace this year. Some would say it’s only half way! This was the first find of many for the day. A quick find upon arrival. Thanks for the hide Lightsabers

#2443 This was the first of our finds on tour in Mulligans today as Delta Squad. 6.5 hours and 15km later we exited the reserve with only one DNF to note. Thanks Lightsabers for placing this one.

18-Jun-22
In an attempt to hit 3000 finds by August, the DELTA SQUAD decided to raid the Mulligan's Flat Nature Reserve. We managed to find many caches, including quite a few lonely caches, happy with that! Thanks for the fun!

Heading north for another New South Wales family holiday. This time for a week with the entire family. Means the car is fully loaded and no room for ladders and other TOTTs.

Start of Day 2 after we spent the night in Yass. Following our usual holiday traditions of my wife off on a long run, I went geocaching early. This morning I thought I would sneak off to cache in ACT for the first time with the plan of trying for 6 types and as many of the UGC series before heading back at 9 am.

Pleased this geocache had a trail head, as I used this to get into this area. Popping thru the bushes, I scared a mob of kangaroos. Surprised by the size of the ant hills here. Quick find at 8 am.

Thanks for the cache Light Sabers

Out today to get catch some caches on our 3rd day in Canberra with RoddyC and Team Benders.

Got side tracked and ended up in the reserve. (Attracted to the earthcache).

The cache needs some TLC. It is cracked. It has been turned upside down but needs a big cleanup. Hop someone can assist.

An very early event, lauding in the day to try for 11 caches types. So between packing and organizing and going to the scheduled 3 event of the day I found al the relevant cache types.

On my way to the letterbox Smile

Quick find, nice cache, all in good order.

Thank you Lightsabers for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

My final loop today around Mulligan's to collect the remaining traditionals. Weekdays are great in here - didn't see anyone the whole morning! This cache was a straightforward find at GZ - thank you Lightsabers. The lid is cracked and cache container was full of water (which I've since tipped out), however the log was pretty dry in its plastic bag.

07-Aug-20
Headed out early this morning so I could do some caching before work. Thankfully the rain wasn't too heavy and I got done what I wanted without getting too wet.

Unfortunately, the lid on this one has broken and most of the cache is full of water. The log is currently dry in a plastic bag but may not be for too long as it now has a split in it.

In the area with [@trodectus](http://coord.info/PR8JTE0), after being unable do do another cache nearby due to high level of muggles. We headed here, after a brief search, located cache. Log signed and returned. TFTC.

24-May-20
Found with [@coybear2000](http://coord.info/PR9547H). We were in the area to get a few pics at a nearby pond and we had hoped to go for a cache there, but there were too many muggles. After finishing the photos we decided instead to head here. Once at GZ we could clearly see where to look and soon uncovered the hide. Log stamped and all replaced and we headed back. TFTC.

After attending the CITO (sort of) nearby, I ended up heading off caching with JohnoMawbs for a few hours, before the Wattle Day event later that afternoon. We found about 20 caches (18 I had not found, 2 I already had), had fun walking and talking, and I took my usual lots of photos ...

01-Sep-19
With another day off and a CITO on nearbyish, I decided on taking the trip over Canberra for a day of caching. Big Grin After the CITO, Aykayem and I teamed up to collect some caches that:
1. I hadn’t found
2. She hadn’t found
3. We hadn’t found
These included solved puzzles, WherIGo’s, Multi’s and a few other caches that were along the way. I ended up with 7 different cache types today. Big Grin We enjoyed our walk around ‘Mulligans Flat Nature Reserve’, seeing all the wildlife and finding all the caches we found today. Most caches, that we found today were quick finds and in great shape. There were only a couple that took a little bit of an extra look, full logs, damp contents and minor damage to the containers. TB visit on all caches. I would like to thank all CO’s of the caches I found for placing them to bring me and the rest of the caching community joy and to these unique locations. Big Grin TFTC’s and TFTE Big Grin

I revisited this cache, so Aykayem could also add it to her collection of found caches. TB visit.

Out for a Friday afternoon walk after working from home all week to find this large cache! Before Forde was here this was my old running track. It’s amazing how overgrown it is 14 yrs later TFTC

I have been ill lately, mostly too sick to go walking for caches. I've been slowly recovering, and today I decided to try for some short walks to find "Regular" sized caches for one of Prof RapidlyWild's UGC challenges. I've dropped Ms Mister JD at her work, and here I am. I parked in a side street and set off. The slight uphill walk worked well for me, and I found the cache easily. Thanks, Lightsabers.

Find # 8092

Found with sharkiefan while spending time in Canberra before heading up to the Gong event.

Todays plan was to grab the UGC caches and some others close by.

We had a couple of caches flagged for this area. And managed to get them all while walking around the roos in the area.

Today was the perfect day for a pleasant walk around Mulligans with Aquilus1... ok, maybe not perfect.... but it didnt rain at least. It was bitterly cold when we started with the wind cutting right through us, but we survived.

I have very few cache finds up this end of town so I was up for the loop, we did well. So many cool caches, some of them really should be 'large' I feel, as the enclosure counts.... not just the log container. Anyway, lots of cool caches up here.

Very quick find, could see where it was from 20m
