By complete accident we came across this wee park when looking for somewhere to have some lunch. Shared some of our food with the local ducks. Saw two groups of ducklings - so cute.
Sat down to take a phone call. Something didn't look right so after getting off the phone, I went looking. What - a cache. No way. Went to car and would you believe it, no pen, no pencil, not even a crayon. SMH. Partner fashioned an old style pencil so I could sign the log book with our initials.
It is a disabled cache, but it still let me log, so I have done so Thanks for placing.

Decided to archive this cache as it seems to be tampered with too often...….someone knows its there! Pity as it was a popular cache in a lovely park.
Disabling until we have time to either find or replace.....this is the 3rd time we may have to replace
Found it and bagged first spot in the new logbook. Since we are flying back to Australia tomorrow took the trackable with us to help it on its way
Did this tonight after a zumba class nearby and that meant that the coast was clear for me to search. Torch had to come out for a bit but we spotted it in the end TFTC!
Forgot to mention, log was all full so could do with a replacement asap...I managed to find a small spot to add myself in
first attempt was a no go as young kids feeding ducks so on our way back we tried again and this time were able to make the quick find. Thanks for the placement.
I arrived in town from Nelson for a couple of days work. As I had a bit of spare time before meeting up with colleagues, I went off to find a few caches. After a couple of DNFs in my earlier searching I am pleased to report that this cache is still in place, safe and sound. TFTC, Biggles.
No luck with this one and with school about to start I decided to abandon the search.
Post log - I have now seen the photos - it seems I should have been looking for a nano and not a bolt. D'oh.

Took a little while but we Mr 4 and I) got there in the end. Damp day, good weather for ducks. Thanks to all cache owners for taking the time to place and maintain your caches. Team Broadbent aka TB (prev known as BJ25). Find # 1746
The boys were off to the movies this afternoon and I had my sights set on getting some caches between Kaiapoi and Rangiora. On the way from central Christchurch I wanted to grab some before being dropped off. It wasn't very easy to find quick caches that my children would be able to log their finds for. Even though this wasn't on our direct path it was only a small detour and so became our first find for our trip.
The cache was not underneath but on the back so I moved it to the closest point underneath. You might want to check it is where you want it. The log was very hard to get out. Thankfully hubby was happy to get it back in for me.
Found with our three boys, found logs for them to come in the next day or so.
Thanks for the cache an interesting spot which I enjoyed visiting.

Nice little geocache, just picking up my little brothers and decided to pop down pretty easy find. Thanks for making it!

Yes I am just cruising around randomly finding a few caches this evening. Found this and then came and read the interesting story about the Withers family. TFTC # 11,658
Found it last night with 2 New geocachers. (They have already found 3 more today).
Thanks for he cache!

My first in New Zealand on my last day before going back to Belgium. Thank you for this cache!!
Canadian visiting your beautiful country. Found this while staying at the Top 10 Holiday Park. TFTC
Krusing the streets looking for a few caches with Sir Belac, sometimes it's good having a kid with you, no one looks twice at you when they lie down on the ground beside a seat

Tftc. Just noticed that whilst we found it some time ago it wasnt marked off. So we checked when heading to school this morning before marking off..
A cold wet Friday was the ideal time to complete this cache. Quick easy find whilst in the area then off for more. Thanks for the placing this in a great spot that I wouldn't have even known about.
Just cruising into the night, kind of on the way, so good excuse to stop and collect. Thanks for the new log sheet! TFTC!!
Found it! You may have to change the paper because I couldn't find any place to write my name on!
I didn't sign the log, it looked pretty delicate so just put it back and logged it in here. TFTC Bunny and Lion x
It will be obvious that the " 3 travel bugs" listed as being in this cache are elsewhere..... Hopefully whoever comes across them on their travels, will have the know-how to "grab" them from this cache and send them on their journey.
In Christchurch for the weekend and as we were passing this one we decided to have a quick look. Quick find due to good hint. Not sure how 3 TB's would fit in the cache container!!
What a lovely wee park area. Found after a quick feel round! TFTC and taking me there. Saw a mother duck with 8 babies - - -this early??!! A fav for the experience.
yippee, first find in New Zealand, not sure how rest off finds going to be as GPS coming up with maps don't have routable roads. Here for the British lions tour, a nice quiet spot and ideal place for my first find, tftc
Tftc. Found with fellow geocachers from South Africa, Vinnige Voete and BoertjieRSA.
Out with felixx jnr
He found it and asked was it this little thing?
Thanks for the cache in this pretty spot

A quick find while returning from a shopping expedition to our cabin at a nearby Holiday Park. A pretty oasis in suburbia. TFTC
Thank you very much for the cache. Christchurche is our last destination on our one month trip around NZ.
4.40pm. Another cache close to where we are staying. Nice little quiet secluded nook amongst residential houses. Perhaps someone bequeathed their property to the Council. It happens. Anyway this was a quick find and took longer getting the log out and in!!

Just kruising around after work, finding some caches.
Always a delight, unrolling and rolling these nano logbooks! [8] The end of it somehow always manages to **elude** your fingers despite that you think you are holding it right.
Thanks for the cache!

Quick find on the way home. I'm sure the ducks appreciated the company for the short time i was there trying not to look too obvious! Tftc
Found whilst I left the teenagers getting ready at the campground. What a lovely spot. Tftc
Today I needed to find 6 caches to bring my total finds for 14 Jul to double figures (10). Decided to target the Papanui / Casebrook area as there were several caches there that StreetWalker had found but I hadn't. Had an extra pair of eyes, as well as navigator supremo, Banahna with me and she safely got me from cache to cache.
As we pulled up near GZ, we both saw the green box and immediately got the wrong idea about where the cache would be hidden. Then we saw the gorgeous wee park, what a great wee location and thankfully deserted on a fine winters morning. Banahna's eagle eyes soon spotted the container and the hardest part was re-rolling the log book. Thanks for bringing me here and TFTC. One down, five to go!

Smallest we've found and would've missed it if mr b hadn't been here. Tftc
#12226. We were moving out of our Redwood house sit today, so I made a detour on my way to work to find this one (having sussed out its location a few weeks ago). Nice and quiet here before 7AM. TFTC.
A nice little park here, took a while by torch and touch to get my hands on it. Cheers
Back in Christchurch for the week and this was the closest cache to find. Nice hide, but quick find. TFTC
