Found the holey moley. Nothing inside. Would need tongs for sure! There is a nail from which the cache was probably suspended. A good night time outing ?
After completing the new-ish AL at Springwood, I decided to grab a few caches around the area before I headed back down to the plains. A straightforward find here ... but I couldn't reach the cache. Next time I'm in the area, I'll hopefully remember to bring a suitable TOTT.
Ruled out all other places before entering.
Could not reach the cache without the aide of a TOTT?

Wow. Did expect that. Tools were required. There needs to be some fishing line or string tied to it. TFTC
I’d have it in hand, but Wife shouts from across the park don’t stick your hand in there.
Could see the cache, didn’t much fancy sticking my hand in there, so Kimbathelion took one for the team. Tftc
Not keen to put my hand down here but could see the cache so it was ok to grab. Tftc
Holey Morley is right! Didn’t want to stick my hand down there but I was able to shine a light on the cache from above to spot it; I hope that’s enough

Found it, but holey moley it was a long way down. We'll have to come back with tongs or something next time
In the trunk of a tree near the play equipment. Hard to reach so I put something in the base to prop it up
Thank you to the Wellington family, unfortunately we lost our pen but you were visited by the Mace family 01/05/21
Good little cache although Limbs weren't long enough.
Remembered to grab the kids.

I’m 2m tall and I only just grabbed this one. May be hard to access for smaller cachers. Contents were more amusing than disappointing - mouldy lolly and a clothes peg. Still, nice spot to relax with some lunch.
Leaving home before dawn to beat the Easter traffic has its advantages. I drove nearly the whole way to Springwood without stopping as there was hardly any traffic. That meant I had plenty of time for some geocaching adventures before the event in Faulconbridge later this morning.
I'd already made one find and then headed to the northern side of the Great Western Highway which I had intended to check out on the way home but was now inspecting.
When I arrived at Lomatia Park there was lots of dew on the ground and surprisingly a group of dog exercising muggles on the oval. I walked over towards GZ and could immediately see how this cache got its name. I tried the obvious place but couldn't see anything, still a bit dark, then inspected all around the object and with that being unsuccessful I went back to the first option. Being a bit vertically challenged and all the things that go with that I could only just reach the cache!
Signed the log and replaced the cache and headed off - still plenty of time for more cache hunting.

Stopped for lunch & a quick play on the playground. - (geokids). Cache was a quick find, but didn’t have a log book. We had spare in the car, so have replaced log. Was chalk in the container, left by previous finder. TFTC

Needed a quick park and grab today to help with my cache on every day of the year challenge. This one fitted the bill nicely.
Wool socks, Tights, jeans, 2x shirts, wool jumper, puffy vest, beanie (hoodie in the car, just in case)... ready to brave the vicious winter wind!
Hokey Moley indeed, great hide. TFTC.
Gorgeous blossoms nearby this cache this morning.

Great hiding place - except we live in Australia and you don't know what creepy crawly you'll find!
