Headed north with RoddyC and Hatzofff to attend a CITO later in the day so we planned to pick up some caches before that Event.Needs a new log sheet as it was difficult to leave our signatures. Cache replaced as found. TFTC
Out caching with hatzofff and Imbunda while on our way to a nearby CITO Event.Needs some TLC.Log signed and cache replaced as found at 10:59 AM on May 18, 2024. TFTC, Beckster22.
Planning to attend the CITO later in the day. Time now to pick up some unfounds before heading over Needs a new log sheet. Had trouble scratching our names in the log.Caching with RoddyC and imbunda.TFTCache Beckster22
Our first stop on our mornings caching adventure in the area. A nice quick one after we used geosenses rather than follow the GPS. Thanks Beckster22
Think the gps was out today. Found about 7 m in the opposite direction to where my arrow was pointing. But all was good. TFTC
With only a few more days left in the month and still needing a significant amount of caches for the monthly challenge we decided to head to Beachmere to target a few caches that had high favourite points.
This cache had the right amount of FP’s for those much needed points, however, that’s not the only reason why we wanted it. This cache right here, yes, this one completes our hidden date calendar! Woohoo!
We’ve been meaning to grab this cache for a rather long time but never had the opportunity to grab it until now. Thankfully their was a nice easy track to follow all the way to GZ and once there we quickly spied the hide, popped our name in the log and made our way back to the car.
Thanks for bringing us here.

Chamad was keen to head to the Toorbul area to get what we could in the Tonka series. After the little turmoils were dropped off to school, we were able to meet up and start the trek. It turned out to be one of those days were we didn’t feel overly successful with way too many dnfs for our liking. Maybe it was just cache blindness, but we still had an enjoyable day doing what we love, even in soaring heat.
I eventually spotted the cache, looking in a different area to our previous attempts. Teamwork was definitely needed as the bison stuck shut. I thought Chamad would lose teeth trying to get it open. I went searching for a rock to tap the screw loose. Can you believe there are NO ROCKS in this spot? I just realised we could use the metal poles holding the electrical wires when Chamad had managed to get it open. Definitely glad we were able to sign this one!

Needing an adventure lab to continue filling in some date squares, I saw an area that might be of some fun for the day. A drive to Toorbul first, then over to Beachmere for a couple labs. The day was full of trials and mishaps and I think we had more dnf’s than finds. We were time poor due to school pickups. Triple turmoil and I headed off on our plan. It was going well and then it turned to mishap after mishap. We drove straight passed our first cache, ok we will get it on the way back. Next was the whereigo, problems with the whereigo (as per norm) meant we left this one. Finally into Toorbul and the multi was done, sweet a tick. Onto the esplanade and a few were missing or we just suffered blindness, there has been some council tree trimming so maybe….. A call to the CO and we replaced one for her.
A drive to Beachmere and we did a nice little puzzle on the way. Lab done it was then a couple of trads in the area and then head home. Oh we missed that one on the way in again. oh well, I am sure we will be back when more get published. We had a fun day just the same.
Wow what a nice idea and a fun cache. We walked around and around and found the cache. Then there was a squeal and a laugh, oh funny. We signed the log and returned all as found, all good here.

This cache was through the long scary grass. But was it was a quick easy find TFTC
Well the cicada’s were making a lot of noise here today. Somehow the log is damp but still able to be signed. Thanks for pity this one out for all to find.
Cute cache guardian in this one but unfortunately, even though it is in a bison, in a ziplock bag, and in a plastic container, the log sheet it damp. TFTC
#8 for the day. Headed this way a week or so ago but decided the track was too rough in my 2 wheel drive. Back again today in the jeep. We decided to do these few before hitting the water.
Found with Duppers. Cute mascot. Everything is damp though. However, we managed to sign the log. TFTC, TFTH & TFTSF

Beckster22 I found your cache Creature 5 on 3/10/2022, 11:10 am. This is my find 4308 and find # 3 today. Found it after a brief search. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
I put my water shoes on to get here as the track is quite waterlogged. I tried to continue to the next one but found the track completely underwater. I will come back for that another day from the other end. Thanks for the cache
Today, it was an opportunity to visit Bribie Island, and then geocache from Sandstone Point to Beachmere. I started the morning with a kayak with Snickersallan in Bribie Island's westerly passage, where we visited the Avon wreck. I then took a walk around Godwin Beach Environmental Reserve conducting some tree fishing, before grabbing lunch and heading to Beachmere's event. It was a nice occasion to drive around the area, and then with remaining available time, it was a short visit nearby to Caboolture Airport, followed by North Harbour Heritage Park, completing *Morayfield Heritage* Adventure Lab. I ended the day attending the *6th Annual Yuletide on the Northside* event in Pine Rivers Park.
I didn't realise that this road wasn't continuous, as I was planning on taking this back to the main road, but evidently, this Creature was in the way. So after parking and then starting to walk to the cache location, I saw that I wasn't Creature 5's only visitors today. After walking along the fire track, I managed to find the cache reasonably quickly. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. An awesome creature, although perhaps the many layers to this cache were a little unnecessary. Thanks Beckster22 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Bit of a trek through very long grass but quickly found as very close to GZ.

Giraffe18 and I are in Beachmere for RoddyC’s event and planned to arrive early to go caching…
This cache popped up as unloved so after a drive down the lonely road, and walking through the grass while dodging the mud we arrived at GZ…, the clue help immensely…
I may have dropped the container… hilarious…
Happy to show this cache some love…

We continued down the track to this cache. The log is very wet just managed to put a signature on it. A lovely day out in this area. TFTC
Out with the Geokids or sometimes I can call muggle. We nice drive up to the Sunshine Coast. Then will were hit by rain. So return Beachmere area to do some caching there.
Cache a day to keep the doctor away, or is it to keep me sane. No it’s to keep my streak alive. Beckster22 TFTC *458* streak. *2776* Finds

Seeing the end of the road and lots of puddles had me worried but the container was quickly found. Will try and find the next one along the track.
**Container was full of water. Log dry.

Nice easy find along a track that is pretty wet because of the rain but that won’t stop me from doing it
Found on our 2019 mega trip from NSW to QLD for winter with Roostaman.

A fine Winter Sunday for a drive around Beachmere again.
Not that many muggles around here today and many good safe hides.

Out today checking on caches. I have dried this one out and replaced the damp log.
Caching in and around Beachmere to Bribie Island and surrounds, we picked up a few caches with Whitewebbs and this was one of them.
An easy find at GZ.
Thanks for placing this cache for our enjoyment.

While staying at Elimbah we ventured out and found this cache. Exploring these areas is fun and generally very scenic. Thankyou Beckster22 for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area
I have been on a maintenacce run today and have replace this cache as the other one was beyond repair. All good.
Despite there being lots of trees around GZ, a nice quick find.
Thanks!!

Early morning caching very tired but satisfied 5/5 successful finds today TFTC
Today, we wanted to head over to Bribie to visit friends, and change some books at the Bribie Book Exchange. Planned to pick up some caches around Beachmere that I don't think were in the area last time we were through.
......so we went all the way around. Road works along the main road delayed us, but eventually we were close enough to leave the 4wd and walk (almost to where we had left off the last cache) Yep, got this one as well.
Thanks Beckster22

Came out for a drive to gather some numbers before a major event next week. It was a beautiful day for caching with the shining sun. Stopped for a fish and chip lunch along beach.
Quick find while out caching around Beachmere. TFTC .... another creature down
Found while spending a week at Beachmere, enjoying the break from cold Victoria, and grabbing a few smiley's while I can, thanks Beckster22, for the fun series, I hope to get back next year to finish the string
Got this one on the way to Stumpy.
One more in the series completed.
Many thanks to the CO for this cache, and the series.

Day trip to Bribie Island.
We planned out tour today following the geocaching trail
This took us to various locations & a good selection of caches found.
Thought we would have been able to walk to this from Stumpy but too much water so we returned to it after doing Creature 1
This was also worth a favourite point.
Thanks for placing this cache Beckster22

12:00:00 PM. Walked in from Stumpy and the grandkids made the find. They loved the hide. Log signed. Thanks Beckster22 for the cache.
Out with Nurseyjulie, finding a few caches in the area. A short walk from where the car was parked and the cache was spotted. Log signed and we were on our way again. TFTC
A day out with Selvagirls picking up caches in the Beachmere locale. A short walk from the end of the road and a walk around the corner to find this one. TFTC Beckster 22
After a bit of confusion about roads that don't link up, we eventually made it to this creature. This one was a quick find!
Nice quiet place out here.

Out with wombles for a short day and we had 2 on our hitlist for the day and this was one of them love the lil creatures and we had a bit of confusion with the roads and our google maps so we took the scienic route TFTC
Our favourite creature for the day and a favourite point awarded. The GPS had us about 5-10 metres away but the hint led the geodaughter to rush over and make the grab.
Near GZ there is a fork in the path surrounded by some plants with flowers. These plants are probably weeds but they looked pretty none the less. I thought I would hide from my mum in case she was looking for me. tffc

Sunday. After getting Stumpy, we thought we would see if we could get to this one from this direction. Last time when we DNFd this one there was enough water between the two caches to make that impossible. This time there was no water at all!
So we made our way to GZ and had a look around. And there it was! What can we say? We know we looked there last time and we didn't find it. At least, that's what we are telling ourselves! Nonetheless, at least it was there today, and we can mark it off our list
This was the 2nd of 2 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***Beckster22***, for showing us this place.

This was the ninth cache on our way back from Brisbane. Parked up at the end of the road and walked into the bush. The hint helped me find the cache once I was at GZ. TFTC Beckster22
Had a few hours to waste so set out for a trip to Beachmere with the husband.
5th find for the day
After a little search we soon had the little creature in hand. He was a cute one TFTF

Sun is back. So are we. Had a wet approach but found the cache. Love that scary moments! But logbook was too wet to sign it, so I took a piece of paper from a receipt which was in my purse to sign. Put it all back but recommend that next visitor brings a little plastic bag and a more suitable logsheet. Tftc
Quick easy find. Not sure about the house on the corner with the camera surveillance signs.
Our plan for the little trip was to drive from stumpy to this one and further to Beachmere. Well, that wasn't possible, so we had to go back for this one later.
Short walk through the high grass and a little search around and there it lay, right where it was supposed to be. Tftc

Pulled up at the end of the road and dashed into the high grass. Slowed down a bit dodging the swampy wet bits. Got close to gz and searched around and around concentrating on one area where it turned out it wasn't. Quick find once changed search area. Interesting creature. Crazy camo really made it tricky. Blends in very well.

Found this one this morning while in the area. The grass along the track is really quite high now but the creature at the end was worth it. A great little cache. TFTC
