Unfortunately, I cannot see any information that indicates that steps have been taken to resolve the issue/s associated with this placement. Therefore as advised previously, the cache is being de-listed (Archived) to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.
The [**Geocache Maintenance guideline**](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance) explains what needs to happen with a Disable cache.
Caches that have been archived for lack of maintenance will not be unarchived. This is explained in the Help Center article [**here**](http://support.groundspeak.com//index.php?pg=kb.page&id=70).
If you wish to contact me please send an email via my profile - [**Bunjil**,](https://coord.info/PR9GZ0K) and quote the cache name and GC number.

----------
### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###
----------
This cache has been flagged by Geocaching HQ as a cache that **MAY** need some attention. The cache owner would have received an automated email from Geocaching HQ recently which explained what they need to do.
Unfortunately, nothing seems to have happened, so I am having to take the next step - see here: [**Geocache Health Score.**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713)
The cache is being temporarily disabled so as to stop it showing up on search lists and to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.
**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) within 14 days,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?
You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:
- Check on the cache, repair and/or replace the cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (within 14 days). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. For ongoing issues (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to speed.
- If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) it on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

This was a very good hide indeed. Lots of options here. I was lucky and did manage to discover it in a short time. Log signed and all back safe again.
Well done. So sneaky.

Finally found the cheeky little treasure! Boy was that hard! Third time and a PAF hint finally led me to it. I'd been all over it before and it looked so natural. Worth a favourite!

Was down in the area targeting a particular cache down on the dunes and once I was done there I headed back to check out this series. I work in the water business and had some limited involvement in the Desal project. I have to admit though I had no idea this Eco Reserve had been created in addition to the treatment plant and it was heartening to see the contribution made to indigenous plant life around here despite the obvious impact of the plant. Parked the car at the recommended location and walked up tot his one. Took me a little bit of searching but I was pleased to make the find here. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache and the series acmoose.

Found by Peter and Marian at 1545hrs this one took some time as the cache was not reachable from the boardwalk, it was sighted further up the hill it was retrieved, log signed and placed within reach of the board walk. A very clever hide, we were in the company of KI BUG they had done this cache and were surprised at the time we were taking, they offered some hints but after they had a look it appeared to be missing until Marian saw a suspect container up amongst the plants. TFTC.
Found with Phetlern on an enjoyable although windy ride around the area. This one is VERY sneaky! Coords were pretty good for us though.

After the excitement of the Grand Prix at 'Champion Of The Night', night cache we were still revved up for a bike ride in Eco Reserve this morning, in the good company of Alansee. With the hint confirming a number of possibilities, it was Alansee who returned to exactly what his first glance had dismissed.
Our thanks to acmoose for bringing us to this location.

Coords seemed to be taking me off Boardwalk, against advice of notes and terrain advice. Had a pretty good look but no luck.
Found with griggles92.
Great hide. However wasnt 100% on gps co ords so its been moved back.

I looked at it and said no not here, after a few minutes mansgirl looked and had it. Need my glasses tuned up
Quite impressed by the work done on the gardens around here. Cache found in good condition and well cammoed. TFTH
YAY - found it today while on a Road Trip to Wonthaggi with Mr and Mrs KI Bug and Jimmymaff. Thanks acmoose for setting up this cache. The Environmental work around here has been fantastic. A really nice way to hide what could be a potential eyesore in this area
I didn't do a very good job of searching for this cache. Lucky I had a more experienced and all around better searcher with me.

Out and about today on a big caching run with Jacko83, Dannoz and n0w0rries. We were headed for Wonthaggi, targeting some very specific caches with high difficulty levels as well as any others we happened to come across. The weather was not looking too promising, but we were all hoping the weather that Jacko had ordered for 10am would eventuate
After a couple of disappointing DNF's, we decided that the only way to cheer up was to find a couple of caches. So find we did. This one took a little longer to locate. Danozz even picked it up at one stage, but on closer inspection, the log was soon signed and returned.
Thanks to acmoose for the cache. TNLN

We were visiting the gardens, with a plant group, to which we belong, to admire all of the replanting work that has been completed. Parked the cars and started to wander around and ended up very close to GZ. As we were with a group of muggles we felt that we could not have a real good search and after a token look we gave up. As it was really cold the rest of the group decided to call it a day and headed back home. We decided to continue to wander and to grab some caches. We were rewarded with a drop in the wind and a little sunshine to warm us up. So back to GZ to make a fairly quick find. TNLNSL Thanks acmoose.
It had been a few weeks since I had been out caching so I set aside today to head out for my next caching adventure. The forecast was for late afternoon showers but the rest of the day was fine and sunny, and this proved to be the case. I had a great day with 31 finds, 1 DNF, and fun bike ride around the desalination plant at Wonthaggi and some challenging dune climbing along Williamson's Beach.
I had the bike with me today so while I was down this way thought I'd tackle the Eco Reserve caches around the desalination plant. It was pretty tough going with a constant strong wind blowing but I really enjoyed riding to each location to find each of the caches. There were some really nice hides and a couple did take me a while to eventually find. I was actually a little surprised at how well the area had been developed with some really nice landscaping and the viewing platform.
Thanks acmoose.

Looked around for a little while without luck so referred to past logs and got a little hint from there.
This one was very nicely done. Luckily I had the right tool for the job.
Fave point for the great camo here!

This one had us for a while well hidden then cache memory kicked in and cache was found. TFTC SL. Found @ 1350 pm.
Found it finally with Geohusband. Picked item up a number of times but this time GH turned it round till we spotted cache. TFTC

great camouflage for this one. Fortunately we found it reasonably quickly. More luck than anything. Thanks for the clever cache.
Found this afternoon with Bored2249 and Youcandoit2 on a nice sunny afternoon. It was a bit snakey today but we were careful and escaped without incident.
This was our last grab for the day. We thought we'd go to have a look at the desal and luckily there was this cache up at the viewing platform! My GPS was a bit out, but eventually found the right thing and had cache in hand. Surely this is worth more than a 1.5 difficulty? Thanks for the cache and a great afternoon!

Difficult to find at first but actually picked up a few times. Found with jengswan and dairy pasher. TFTC.
Well this is an easy cache that we have made much more difficult than it is. This was probably the sixth or seventh time at least that we had searched but within about thirty seconds we found it this time. I must have picked it up several times before and just missed it. Well done.
Found by Mary & David at 1105. The final in the series. A great lookout spot with interesting information about the Desal layout and function. The cache camo stood out as we approached, so a nice quick find resulted. Our thanks to acmoose.
Despite a hint from some cachers at the Wonthaggi event, I still didn't find this. It was getting dark and I felt a bit conspicuous so perhaps I didn't look as well as I might have but I did look for quite a few minutes and could not spot it. I will come back and bring the kids perhaps one of them will find it. A great excuse to come back to this lovely spot.
Found at 1:51 PM GAFF4 in the company of Geoge. Great view from here and the vast size of the complex can be truly appreciated. There was just one vehicle in the car park - is that all it takes to run the place
We had the wrong idea with the hint and while on the phone it became all clear. Co-ords are ok after you find the cache.
Thanks acmoose.

We looked and looked and looked. We looked for so long that the Security guard from the Desal came to see if we were ok because he had been watching us on the security cameras. Something to take note of, when here. So we explained that we were geocaching. He helped us look and we still couldn't find it. We will be back. Anybody got any hints?
Today was a beautiful day for caching, and just happened to be my prearranged day for caching with Biggles Bear. There was a family of three muggles just ahead of us when walking to GZ, so once there, we checked out the view and the informational signs. Once they were gone, we began our search. Both GPSs pointed a metre or two uphill from the walkway, but the cache page said otherwise. The cache was found after a few minutes of searching.
Thanks to acmoose for the cache and bringing us to this area.

Found 3:08:00 PM, in the company of Muzza during our regular monthly caching expedition.

This is the second time we looked for this. Today there were four of us and we could not find it. The gps kept pointing 5 metres off the path but even though we searched the whole structure, we had no success. Will have to come back another day.
Found @ 6:39pm, find # 3517.
Out on another caching run, this time on a Saturday with biggles1024.
The main purpose for this run was to pick up a letterbox cache, a D/T and find a night cache, everything else was a bonus.
After finishing the nearby trail, we set our sights on this little series.
We left from the car park and headed up the the viewing area, once at GZ we had a bit of a look around, we weren't finding it so we expanded the search area a bit, a short time later Mark found the cache on the ground. We had a bit of a look around and found were the cache should have been located, the log was then signed and we headed off to the next one.
Thanks to a moose for placing this cache and series.

Out for a caching run with Stemicmitsar on Saturday instead of our usual Friday night run. We headed to Wonthaggi to grab a Letterbox and also add to our D/T ratings.
This cache series brought us to an interesting reverse that I didn't know existed. That is one of the great things about geocaching. Bicycles would have been ideal here as the tracks are very accommodating, but we can't transport our bikes at present.
This cache took quite a bit of searching as it was dark by the time we arrived but after about 10 minutes, the hide was discovered and the log signed.

A great day for a ride with the kids, these paths are fantastic for little kids on bikes. A great location to place caches.

Grabbed the bike and made my way up here after parking the caravan down below. Sadly I couldn't find it after spending 10 minutes looking. Thanks anyway acmoose
Another example of where our water rates have been spent on this walkway. A nice hide well done acmoose.
There was enough water coming down from the sky at the moment to keep us very wet ,wonder whether this waste will ever be of any used. Agreat walking area . Thanks acmoose FTC.
Well that one had me going for ten minutes because of the clever hide. Well done. SL
I headed on to this one as the next shower hit and I got somewhat wet even with the brolly. Since I started seriously geocaching, I have spent more time wet than dry. I need to pick my days more carefully I think.
I had no trouble getting to the log on this replacement cache. TFTC

Thanks for the feedback all, I have replaced the cache to make it more user friendly!
24/05/2014 - 12.27 am - 4th for the day with dgfb33. Logged after co says water effected cache has been replaced. We needed tools to allow us to sign log in original cache. Log holder was so tight I was glad I had a caching buddy who had strong hands. We had studied it & noticed it needed pulling not screwing.
Another find by ceebee2013 as we checked a number of possibilities. Cache was close to being out of the zone according to my GPS. We found cache quite affected by rain and have some fear it may be damaged if finders are not careful opening it.
Cache owner would be wise to check this cache to perhaps make an adjustment to allow for the effect of moisture, before someone gets too rough with it.
The paths around Desalination Plant forming this Eco Reserve do give an appreciation of the really good use of the land. Some of the ponds were dry. Dunko and I enjoyed the 8Km ride and collecting the caches along the way. Many thanks to acmoose for the caching fun.
It was late in the afternoon and on the spur of the moment we decided to check out the caches laid around the desalination plant. This reserve was much better than I had expected and is worth a look. All in all Slink1 and myself rode about 8km. Thanks to the CO for the caches. TNLN SL
Found with all the gang! Hanging out for some breakfast now lol. Love this one - fair effort in its construction. Gets a like from me
