Logs
Jumping coords had us a little confused at first but once we narrowed in WesternSydWanderer had the height and reach
Dropped into Riverside Plaza and then into a quiet carport for a cache. Cheers
Came at night for this one, cool cache, good opportunity to practice stealth, cheers cobber.
A trip to Spotlight and the petrol station had me in the area, and since I came at about 6:30 at night after night had already fallen, there was next to nobody around to see me skulking around suspiciously. A photo in the logs provided a pretty spot on hint as to where I could find the cache. Im not too tall and it was only just out of reach. Thankfully, Im a good little climber (a skill that this hobby has given me a good use for) and there quite a few things to give me a leg up.There was someone leaning against his caravan in the carpark having a smoke who could probably most definitely see me - a fact that u only realised after Id already climbed up the structure Oh well hahaThanks for the cache!

Exciting times over the next couple of weeks as we takeoff for the Capital GeoBash in Canberra! Its going to be a flood of Sandgropers over east, with a host of West Aussies making the trek east for the event. Im travelling with fellow Cockburn Crew members Leg5 and Barnzy12, starting in Sydney and hitting the road to Canberra, before returning back to Sydney. Honourary mention to our fellow member, Cravo10, who couldnt make it after recently introducing a new geocacher to the world the week prior. Once in Canberra, the agenda is set, well team up with a host of Western Australians to conquer caches. Collectively, were hoping to make it the biggest ever weekend for cache finding. Following the event, the journey continues back to Sydney, with a mission to clean up caches and new Local Government Areas (LGAs), ensuring no cache is left unturned in this epic geocaching adventure. Something tells me that well need a holiday after this, well, holiday. All logs have been signed as WAC to save space, abbreviation for Western Australia Crew. Cheers AmethystPig! Join us in Augusta, in Western Australias South West, for WA Goes Big 2024 (GCAGV8Y) on Friday 20 to Sunday 22 September. Log your will attend now!
The Cockburn Crew are on tour at the Capital Geobash in Canberra - travelling from Perth to Sydney, Canberra, Sydney and finally back to Perth.Today was day 5. We completed a huge number of trails, challenges, whereigos, traditional, multis, earthcaches, labs, virtuals and puzzles. It really was a great day for variety. We enjoyed caching in territory we havent been before. Weve filled our boots with some rare DTs and DTTs and generally had a great time. Thanks to the COs for a great day and event. Logs signed as part of team WA/WAC (WA Crew)
There must be a bus coming, muggles started appearing everywhere! I waited until the coast, or rather the stops, were clear and quickly made the find. Another LGA visited TFTC AmethystPigKeep smiling
A well hidden cache that I found this morning. As the taller of the three of us - I found the cache whilst bunadoorian and Smiley1982 kept lookout. Luckily there was very few people around today - Easter Monday. TFTC and for bringing us here AmethystPig.
TFTC! Another find with Bunadoorian and Grub62. Thanks for finding this one for us Grub62!
After a short search the cache was found by the taller Grub62. Smiley1982 and I being a bit more diminutive. Thanks for the entertainment and TFTC.

Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. While Mr Felix joined the Puzzling tour of Isaacs Ridge today, Mrs Felix joined up with firesafe and honeysucker to go round and round in circles in Queanbeyan. With a few wrong turns we ended up with caches in ACT and NSWTFTC AmethystPig

My last cache for the night and I'm back in Queanbeyan....it was a bit of a stretch for short arse Tiz13 but I got there.
Smaller than I thought. Kids weee disappointed because there was no way they would have gotten it
Out in Queanbeyan on a chilly Sunday morning with Baristayan, and she took me to this crafty little cache!
It continues to baffle me how under utilised this spot is, but you’re always guaranteed a park which is great to know!
Found quickly enough, and signed for myself and Baristayan who had found it earlier this month when the log was full. Thanks for the cache!

It's a Sunday afternoon - and not as deserted as I would have liked.
When I turned up another car parked .... and then left again, scrutinizing me, waiting at a school bus stop at this time of the week. Once they left, I grabbed the cache. The log is a rather delicate mess of paper and full. So I walked back to my car, which I had left on the road, drove in and parked with a view of GZ.
I prepared a new logsheet (I had to shorten one to make it fit) and as I was about to return the cache to its perch I noticed another driver setting up a picnic .
Whilst they had their back to me I hid the cache again.

Found it but logbook tattered beyond potential signing (photo evidence of find attached)
Went for a walk to find this one. Didn't see it, but felt around a few spots until I put my fingers on it!
Thanks,
Thanks,
There are some interesting caches in Queanbeyan, and I wish I had time to find them all. This cleverly hidden cache was found after looking at the right height and angle.
Big day in Queanbeyan, sunny and losts of interesting caches. Tricky little one. TFTC
A straightforward find here today after the nearby event once we looked at the right level.
Thanks, AmethystPig.
Thanks, AmethystPig.
After the caching event nearby I dropped by here with caching colleagues for a quick find but only after looking in every other obvious spot - LOL. TFTC AmethystPig.

Back across the border for a service with some time to spare made for a loop around the city and outskirts on my bike to collect some more long neglected caches.
Quick find, nice cache, all in good order, log a bit full but still found a space to sign as FS with date.
Thank you AmethystPig for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

TFTC Too high for the geo kids, but found none-the-less. Log is full, unfortunately.
Out for a walk with the dogs on a Sunday and thought that it would be a good quiet time. Sure enough a bus turned up and we had to wait before resuming our search. Found after about 10 minutes.
Apologies, but couldn't sign the log as it was full.
Thanks AmethystPig for the cache.

Thanks AmethystPig for the cache.
There was a gentleman muggle practicing his skateboarding skills at the bus interchange, so I needed to bide my time before I could search unwatched.
Cache was quickly located once he left. There aren't any proper spots available in the log, so had to squeeze a micro-signature in.
TFTC!

Found on my walk around Queanbeyan doing the new adventure lab. I tried this one years ago without success. Today I reread the logs and felt confident to try again - an easy grab once at GZ. Nicely hidden. TFTC!
A fast find. Mid-week during off-peak hours. I had the whole area to myself. TFTH
Glad we came in. Sunday holiday morning. This would be a hard place to access at peak hour. TFTC!
I arrived as a bus was leaving and I had the car park to myself, but unfortunately all the muggles started arriving while I was signing the log. I used to cut through this car park on my way to work maybe 10 years ago. Thanks for bringing me back!
Had to wait for several muggle containing transports to leave before accessing GZ
Nice little hide TFTC!
Nice little hide TFTC!
This took me back to the carpark where I first started learning to drive! It was quiet so a little climbing didn’t get to draw much attention, TFTC!
This one took a little time to find, and reading some of the logs I was worried it might have been a victim of cache creep, but after getting a good vantage point I spotted it right where it should be. Thanks for the cache
Heading to shops thought I stop by here and have a quick find and found TFTC AmethystPig
A quick park and grab during the weekend when this place is far less frequented. Thanks AP.
Outnabout with Wollaston whilst attending the Clear Waters Mega. Caching after the Anzac Service.
Found with Team Outnabout after attending Clearwater Mega event at Queanbeyan. TFTC AmethystPig.
