Find# 11809Nice quick find. Not thetype of cache for those with fat fingers lol.TFTC Fuschia Briefs 5 September 2024
Today, my personal challenge was to find at least one cache in each of the remaining six Sydney LGAs that remain a pink colour on my NSW map. I had listed a couple in each area in case I couldn't find one. As it turned out, the weather was beautiful, the coordinates were accurate, and I had a great success rate at each GZ. Thanks to all the COs for placing and maintaining these caches that add to our special game. All logs found were signed, and caches replaced where I found them . Another LGA down. 5 to go. If noted, I will add a special note to each log. I loved the clever naming of this cache. It was an easy find, and I came prepared for a tricky removal, but all was fine.
Lol. After so many trips to Costco over the past year I finally stopped to pick it up to contine my streak which is approaching 60 days.I'm not going for a big one as I've already done 370 day streak and that was hard work. This is more cuz we were traveling so I cached and now that I'm home, not quite ready to stop The cache hides well but didn't take too long to spot. What took time was getting the little bugger into my hand.Had to use a local TOTT.Thanks for placing this 10 years ago!
My only cache for the morning, though there are plans for the afternoon.I have to be at the Newington end of Olympic Park this afternoon and want to visit a store at Lidcombe, so this is a detour on my way from station to store, before walking the Louise Sauvage Pathway and detouring for more caches. You wouldn't think this could take 10 minutes, but it did, a thorough fingertip search being insufficiently thorough. Just as I was getting a bit fed up, a man walked past with a very fluffy German Shepherd. I said a polite hello and turned around - and there the cache was, right in my line of sight.
There were a few muggles around . So waited a little and just went back and found it. It is there.
Another find to keep my streak going. A nice discovery somewhere in Western Sydney, TFTC
Visited it during 28-days geotrip to Australia, N.Caledonia, Vanuatu, Fiji, Am.Samoa, Fr.Polynesia with Marci, Ch. Sometimes we logged as "MT" or "Jonea" or "MTCh". Thanks for showing nice caches and places. MT-Jonea from Brno city in Czechia EU. Wet logbook so we photo it.
Very easily found, knew where it was as I drove down the street toward it Hardest part was rolling the log back up to put it back after signing!TFTC!
While waiting for one of the team to finish a course nearby, we thought this cache would be something fun to do to kill time! After a quick look we had the cache in hand. Signed log. Replaced. Our work here is done! TFTC.
Find #: 3,389Companions: NoneMuggles: NoneWeather: Damp spring afternoonCache condition: GoodI was on the way to an athletics meet at SOP and decided to find some caches on the way, despite the average weather. I parked a road across and took the path past the canal, which excited the local dog, but he quietened down once I was past. Once at GZ I made a quick find - TNLNSL TFTC
Took twice as long as it should have so relieved to have CIH after a longish walk from Powells Creek Homebush. TFTC
Out and about with the kids today and decided to collect a cache on the way... I mean, why not? My daughter was in a mood, so park and grabs were the choice find. This was the closest to our location, so we made the detour to get it. The kids looked for a little while. I almost immediately saw it and then left them to see if they could find it too. My son was the lucky finder, much to my daughter's disgust... but then what else is new? We signed the log and replaced everything as found. TFTC and the reason to stretch our legs!
Im in Sydney for a work trip and decided to grab a couple while out and about.
Many thanks to Fuchsia Briefs for placing and maintaining Harry's End. I found it, I signed it, and put it back as found.

Thanks for the quick cache. Grabbed after finding parking and walking towards Olympic park for tonight’s game!
Found with the geowife SamanthaRogers.TFTC. Replaced geo with a new one, hidden in the same location
Gotcha! TFTC
Unfortunately, I dropped the old cache, but thanks to the trusty Geohusband @Nosmada, he had his Geo-utility belt and we were able to replace it right away.

After a few other times attempting to collect this caches had to abort because of muggers . Today heading to see the bunnies play decided to attempt it again . Absolutely no one around on a Sunday . After a few minutes searching located the hiding place . Wow a small one blends in well . TFTC
It was where we expected it should be, but after missing it we extended our search. Reading the logs we figured it was a nano. Went back to where we started and the magical words, got it came out of Mr Unssys mouth . A quick stop from Ashfield to the mountains to watch our children take part in the Ultra marathon this week end
OCW frazeydaze. Glad to avenge a previous dnf here. Don't know how I missed it previously.

Another Friday out caching with oldmorty.
Parked just round the corner and strolled over to the end.
After a thorough search we decided that we must be looking in the wrong place.
Just as I turned my head something caught my eye.
How did we miss that.
Cache found, log signed and cache returned.

Thought I have a look after filling up at the always cheap Lidcombe Service Station and found the tiny cache pretty quickly with no muggles around.
Easy find - TFTC!

Tinier than I was expecting but a nice easy find nonetheless. Btw Anaconda Lidcombe is having a big sale if you're in need of any gear. TFTC
Found after collecting our glasses at Costco.

Found very tiny cache but was empty. I managed to sign on some paper and get it in the cache. Replaced as found.
Couldn’t resist pulling off Paramatta rd to grab this lonely little fella thank you
Found It!
Bloody nanos... at least this one was relatively easy to find. Then I needed two pairs of pliers to get the lid open.

Navigated to GZ, at the end located find #140 @11.02am. Log is full, needs replacing. SLRC as found. TFTC
The hint was handy for this one and we found the well hidden cache. We have not done a lot of caching in this area so this added to a fun day. Thank you to Fuschia Briefs for placing this cache.
Picked this one at random to find while passing through the area. Needs a new log please. TFTC.
After going a bit stir crazy inside, BarberBlackSheep and I decided to see if we could find a cache close to home and this was the one. Knew what I was looking for but took a while, it was well hidden!! TFTC
After work nearby that went considerably later than I’d expected, I was in a bit of a state looking for the closest, quickest, easiest cache to keep my streak alive.
I struggled to park the work vehicle close, but managed eventually, had a bit of a panic when I didn’t find the prize on my first pass.
But I took a deep breath, and started a systematic search, and I soon had CIH.
Signed the fairly full log.

Hello from Melbourne down in Sydney for two weeks and yours was my first find breaking up travel from Sydney to berala

First day at the job, all my colleagues went to a pub. I went out for a walk, and found a cache.
It was jammed way deep inside, but improvising a tool I was able to retrieve it and pace it properly. Thank you for your cache!
#This Day#
First full day in the city, some classes in the morning, work in the evening... and a cache after work.. Pretty good!
#This Trip#
We are back in Australia this year, even through this rough COVID times. Very happy to be here, indeed! For the first time we get to see a bit of Adelaide and a bit more of Sydney, that is two new cities and two new states in which I am now lucky enough to have geocache finds!

In the area for netball, I decided to try find a cache for my streak before I went home and saw that this wasn't too far and shouldn't be too hard. I was able to park right in front of GZ and got searching. I took a systematic approach to my search, I saw something that just didn't look right, gave it a go and turned up the cache. Logbook is full, photo attached. And in true MizCupcake fashion, I dropped the bottom of the cache in my car and then proceeded to spend longer searching for it there than I did looking for it at GZ! All is good and cache has been returned as it was. Thanks for the cache!
Hmmm... it looks to me that someone may've moved this cache from it's intended hide at some time as the hint did not apply and it took longer than 1.5D to find as a result. Returned where I found it. TFTC
Had to read the messages to find it as i had no idea what i was looking for! My first geocache! Thank you
found while out getting some essential exercise with Ris768 thanks Fuschia Briefs for placing this cache. Log 2342 SD 1220
A nice easy find before work.
After parking right by the GZ i walked over without bothering to check my GPSr and located the cache right away.
The container is in good condition and the log is dry.
Thanks.
