On holiday from the UK and staying at the nearby Regatta Point Park so bagged this cache whilst doing the coastal walk
Avenged the DNF. Phew. It was kinda where I expected but not. The search took longer than it should have. A skink lizard (pic) decided to sun itself near gz. If there are lizards there are no snakes! Who said that!?? So I hope you see a lizard!! Found on the Mega Capital Geobash coastal loop via Adelaide - Barrington - coast to Mexico City loop. A lot of caches and white line fever was sweated out. Thanks dghoffy and clear skies from TeamAstro. Cache the planet! Some logs signed as TAD as teamed up with Tenkae and Deanside for additional fun. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Caching around on the road trip that encompasses Barrington Tops, Sydney, the Easter Geobash Mega in Canberra then the return via who knows where to homeNice to grab this one, took a bit but after reading some logs, moved away from the great structure and the cache was soon in hand!Nice lizard sunned itself unperturbed by our presence Thanks dghoffy for contributing to this great game for myself and others to enjoy.
We took the long scenic route too. It was further than we expected but all good. Thanks for the cache dgh.We are off home tomorrow but I hope to find more dgh caches another year. There are still plenty more to find!
On a holiday from the blue mountains. Out for a walk with the fam. Tftc. Lovely walk
Went the long way round and enjoyed the view. Nice little hide that took us a few minutes.TFTC
TFTC JENPETEH, The H,s , South Africans living in Tassie GeoCaching our way around Australia and loving it
TFTC Thank you for hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.
Found today as we went for the Camel rock and coastal walk. Easy to find when you have the cacher eye. Such a nice place to be!
Found on a chilly afternoon while out for a drive.
I’ve visited the lake a couple of times in recent years and each time thought it was a beautiful spot.
I was alone at the GZ and ended up finding the cache in the second place i checked.
Thanks.

Tftc! Took a while but R was very brave and managed to find it. Dropped a travel bug off for it's next adventure.
Day 5 of my fishing trip to Bermagui which is turning out to be more geocaching than fishing due to the bad weather. Decided to head up to Narooma today via a stop off at Tilba pub.
A nice walk here, came via the Camel rock carpark. Plenty of people out enjoying the area. Had to wait a bit to look for the cache as there was people under the shelter. A quick find after they left. Nice views from here.

Checked on cache, all good. Picked up travel bug as it's time it moved on. Footbridge is currently damaged so path only accessible at low tide. Hopefully council will repair it soon.
What a lovely shelter, lovely carvings and what a good view too Unfortunately couldn’t find this one today
Searched for a while at the obvious spot with no success. Went off the beaten track slightly and found it pretty quickly. Thanks for the holiday fun, the walk here was great
One of the last for the day, log and inside of bag wet and it was nice to watch the paragliding/wakeboarder out on the tide that was coming in. TFTC
Enjoyed our walk with Beavar along the track and shared it with a few others this sunny afternoon. Cache found wet as well as the log sheet. Replaced with a dry log sheet after SL at 4.50pm #7864 TFTC elysium_au
A nice stroll from the car park with great views and a cache and a bit of history.

This is an area where I could easily retire, the drive in being scenic and rewarding. After a visit to tilba tilba cemetery this cache was next on the list, and after a short walk to stunning views found cache, not on structure but very close. Tftc
A few possibilities. The size was the only hint. A hint, higher D and or T rating would help.
Thank you elysium_au for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

Nice quick find after walking around the headland from near the Camel Rock earthcache TFTC!
After quite a hike to see Horse Head rock we came over here to find this cache. Lovely spot to sit and reflect on life
What a lovely view of Gulaga and learnt something of the Indigenous culture. TFTC!
TFTC! Found with R6 and L3. Awesome walk with coastal views, Camel and Horsehead rocks. Highly recommended.
You pwned us n00bs.
We will return.
Great spot. Systematically searched the rocks - both of us. After 20 mins we decided you win. The spirit watchers were not kind here but bought us a beautiful day.
Look look look. You are only as good as your next find.
Thanks and clear skies from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!

I was here, searching in the rocks, saw a little snake, so, did't look further
Thanks to bring me to this place, I should be very grateful if I may log?

We loved the walk around Wallaga Lake then further to see Horse head rock on this cold cloudy school holiday day. Daddy found the cache after the kids and I searched areas we thought. Great views over the ocean to Bermagui and over to Mt Gulaga where we found another cache this holiday. Sad to see this premium cache had rocks left inside so no swaps at this one. TFTC great spot to explore
Found this cache with a fabulous view. We are here for just one night, as we’re driving down from Sydney to Melbourne via the costal routes. I hope to find a cache in every town we stay, so the route will be visible after we finish! Thanks for this cache, Team SBNR
With Tankengine we made our way down to this part of the coast, there would be many other canberra cachers out and about in the area as well and on this day three we often cached with many of them. This was an area I have been wanting to come visit for such a long time for the trail of caches and was so lucky to have fabulous weather and such good company for the three days.
The caches are very different and interesting with a mixture of hide types, styles and difficulty to keep things interesting. I just loved this area with all the lakes, inlets and waterways, the coast... spectacular. A beautiful place to visit.
Day three and this cache: A much cooler and cloudy day but the clouds over the lake were quite spectacular. Bumped into barb2e on our way there and a bit of a search had it soon spotted. Thanks for the cache!

Found this cache with Aquilus1 on our Bermagui invasion with about 2 dozen other Canberra/Goulburnites! We found this one early in the morning, and the cloud formations over the lake this morning were amazing! Took heaps of photos! Also, GZ was really cool! So a favourite point from me! Thanks Elysium_au for the cache, and thanks Aquilus1 for your wonderful company!
The long weekend had arrived and off I go as part of the Canberra geocachers invasion for the SST series and any others along the way! A great weekend of camping, caching and socialising with a great bunch of people!
After parking up the geounit, off I went for the pleasant little wander at this quiet little spot. I was convinced this one was at another location at GZ so tried up there...nope! Checked out another spot and had cache in hand in moments. Lovely spot here!
Thanks for the hide, dghoffy

Out and about with nibletricecakes and the Goulburn/Canberra crew. Scouting the coastline for treasures... my first big caching weekend! TFTC (and trail)
Such a beautiful spot!!! And a really cool gazebo! A fav from me for this lovely cache!
Spending a glorious weekend down the Sappire Coast as part of the Canberra Invasion. Whilst the invasion meant the chance to catch up with many cachers at events and at different spots (and a delightful excuse to celebrate Lovetherabbitohs 18th birthday), I spent most of the weekend on the hunt with the CGI crew: Fitzy_1965, DarzeeDi, Minniek , K8TYBEE , GLISS!, GSC2000 Lovetherabbitohs, B0tmun, death_killer & my_name_jeff_1. Thanks so much for keeping all the caches alive and making this weekend a possibility! Tftc

Headed to Wallaga Lake for a bit of an invasion by people from Canberra & Goulburn. A group of us convoyed for most of the long weekend. The group known as CGI (Canberra Goulburn Invasion) consisted of fitzy_1965, darzee di, nibletricecakes, k8tybee, GLISS!, GSC2000 and my geokids Lovetherabbitohs, b0tmun, death_killer & my_name_jeff_1.
A lovely walk around to this one today. Quick find by one of the kids here.

This weekend a few of us from Canberra and Goulburn decided to travel down to Bermagui and do the SST series and some of the other traditionals this being one of them. We camped at Wallaga Lake Big4. A nice little drive down this morning meeting up with Aimee and Kate, to start on our caching adventure of this fantastic little series.
The weather was glorious and the great company, laughs and stories making a great day. I just loved the different caches and ability to park safely and enjoy the experience. We signed logs as team CGI (canberra Goulburn invasion) and I could see that we were going to enjoy ourselves, we got to gz found the cache, quickly signed log and put back for next cacher to find, sneak and nice views from gazebo. Tftc dghoffy

Sorry hoffys, but this is going to be a generic log, as I have trouble keeping up with the youngsters I cache with, let alone making notes for individual caches. It will however save you reading every log!
Weeks ago it was decided to resurrect the idea of Canberra Invasions. I had not previously been involved in these adventures but enthusiastically signed up and this is our second this year. What a fabulous time we had. The main targets were the Event on Saturday night to celebrate an 18th birthday and the SST series. Both were achieved as well as some extras thrown in for good luck.
Thanks to all the COs for the effort they put in to creating the caches we found, but especially to dghoffy . What an incredible set of caches. I especially loved the names allocated to the caches - wow what great imaginations you have, and this spilled over to the creation of the caches. Well done d! It was wonderful not to have a series of mint tins or sistemas and their placement was great too. Evil at times but so much fun! I especially appreciated the fact that there was always good parking on roads that can be busy - glad it was a winter long weekend not one in summer.
All caches were eventually found, sometimes with a little bit of help - thanks to the COs and GrimRaider and were signed or stamped as Capital Crunchers. Brilliant series so thanks again and it was great to have you share the weekend with us.

Found with AngelG27 and TikvaNZ on a trip to the south coast on the long weekend. Had a great time driving around and grabbing caches. TFTC FP
Found on the Canberra Invasion of SST. Signed as Canberra Goulburn Invasion. CGI. TFTC.
Cache 5135 on 8 Jun 2019.
This was a long awaited and planned geocaching mission to the south coast with a few other Canberra cachers. Bobl27, TikvaNZ and I drove down Saturday morning and picked up a few caches on the way to the main goal which was the SST.
This cache: a little oasis and a lovely spot. FP
Thanks elysium_au for the cache and the fun!

At the coast for the weekend as we for the Canberra invasion of the sapphire coast. Magnificent views if you walk further on. TFTC
I parked the geomobile at the Camel Rock carpark and headed off on foot.
A stroll, punctuated by spectacular views, was enjoyed
A score or more minutes later I arrived at GZ.
There I found something that looks like it floated in from across 'the ditch'
A poke around the tiki hut provided no cache finds [:o]
So I consulted the GPS.
Hmmm !!
Over there I found the cache
TFTC and another great excuse for some exercise and sightseeing [^]
Fave dance time !!

We have had our eye on this geocaching trail for a long time now, and so with our current travels taking us south down the coast we of course wanted to gain a few smilies. We enjoyed the trail with its many varied cache hides and the locations the caches led us to. Some of the caches were quite challenging to find while others gave themselves up much easier. It was a very windy day with a bit of drizzly rain, but certainly nothing to deter us from another great day out geocaching, and so many thanks to the CO for the extraordinary amount of time and effort put into laying this trail, although we will have to wait for another visit to complete the north bound section - something to look forward to! We parked up and then walked on towards Ground Zero where the cache was soon located. We signed the log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the cache and for the interesting information on the cache page. Greetings from Zimbabwe
An amazingly beautiful walk from Camel Rock this morning. Spectacular views and lovely to read about the indigenous history of this area.
Found with Kohoutkids and Hogwarts85.
Thanks

Up early this morning chasing sunset photos at horsehead rock. After wxploring the surrounding areas I found this cache on the way back to the car. A very serene spot this morning. TFTC.
It was a pleasant walk along the foreshore to get to this cache. When we got to the area of GZ, we started to hunt. We had been doing so when a local fisherman came past and asked us what we were doing. He warned us that a large black snake lived in the area we were searching and was often laying on top of the rocks sunning itself. we are normally cautious but that made us even more so. After a few minutes, one of us looked from the right angle and the cache was seen. Very cautiously we extracted the container. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks elysium_au for this cache in a lovely and culturally significant location.
Never knew there was a cache here. Thanks for making this stunning place even better !
Found at 10:54:00 AM
First time here since the boardwalk was washed away. I had no idea. Dropped of a trackable as I figured this was a safe hide.
Thanks dghoffySnoopy

Found on a few days away from work. Nice to be out caching. Thankyou for the cache .
Staying at Bermagui for a few days. Doing the tourist trips. A lovely walk along the side of the lake. Once again geocaching taking you to somewhere you wouldn't otherwise go.

### Easter trip 2018 ###
----------
We've planed a trip to Jindabyne this year.
To get there, we took the inland route via Canberra where we've stayed for one night. We've then continued on to Jindabyne and have stopped at many interesting locations on the way there.
We've walkes up to the summit of
Mt Kosciusko on Easter Saturday. We've taken the main range walk up to the summit of 26km total distance. Great challenging hike past the blue lake and many other little mountain lakes.
The view up there was magnificent.
Back in Jindabyne, we've walked around the lake and have visited the sculptures near the lake.
We took the coastal route for the way home back to Sydney staying in Batemans Bay for the night.
We've stopped at many interesting locations and have visited some caches along the way as well
Thank you to all the owners for showing us the places

Find #217 7:30am. Such a tranquil spot, beautiful. Didn't have a pen so took a snap of the log instead. Thanks for the cache.
We had a picnic lunch nearby and followed the cache with a walk around the headland to a good vantage point for photos of horsehead rock. Wonderful coastline. Log is nor very damp today. Tftc

No luck today did not have my garmin and phone signal not so good will be back as is a fantastic walk fromCamel Rock around headland.
A little tricky to get to in high tide, but made for an adventure. Geokids and Youban had a good laugh at my expense as I was crossing the planks across the creek and almost fell in (twice). Youban thinks that I would make a good log roller. The pagoda was very nice though and a great place to have a rest after walking around the tracks here, but I had to get back to the family left on the other side of the creek, so no rest for me. TFTC elysium_au!!!
Found it. Took a couple of goes but we still found it what a beautiful look out and a beautiful track thanks for the beautiful day
Wow! What a fantastic little hidden spot. Just shows you what could be waiting to be discovered if you take the right roads. Kutgw
Saw the pictures of the cache and knew I had to stop for this one. Having climbed Mt Drom before, it was nice to get a view of it from a new angle. Had a hearty brunch at GZ before making the find. TFTC!!!!
What a lovely spot. Didn't know this was so close to where we holiday each year. Many thanks
