Container has disappeared in the recent gardening and pruning maintenance and location is a bit difficult to get to now with the shrubs getting quite large. Time for it to go.

While staying in the area we made a selection of caches to look for today, along with ilook4geo. We had a good day and found what we wanted. This was a pleasant drive towards and around South West Rocks. Many thanks go to bobbiesgirl for placing this cache and giving us another smiley.

Glad I had my tall hubby with me - he spotted it quickly. Due to a hiccup with our Premium renewal, am now able to log this cache today. We did actually find it and signed the log on the 3/4/19 during an enjoyable week staying at Horseshoe Bay. This was a welcome find after missing out on 2 nearby ones - didn't log them as DNFs because we hope to be back next year! TFTC

During our great roadtrip through Australia we went from Crystal Creek near the Springbrook National Park to South West Rocks today. On our way we found some great caches. This was one of them.

Visiting from America Dsn no pen tfth

We have headed south a few weeks early to have a little holiday prior to attending the Oz Geomuster Mega event. We have found ourselves based in Port Macquarie for a few days which has enable us to spend some time exploring some of the nearby towns.

Today, we took a drive out toward Kempsey to explore the area and find a few caches while we were here [^] We had no difficulty in locating the cache and with our name added to the log book, we continued on our way

It was pretty warm out geocaching today and very humid too with all the flooding rains that have hit this area the last few days. Luckily for this cache we were able to park in the shade, only had a short walk to GZ and the cache was found in the first place we looked. Luck was on our side here. On a slow road trip to the Geomuster at Morisset next weekend. Staying at various towns along the way and collecting many smilies on the way.
Today we cached around South West Rocks and we appreciated the variety of caches, containers and locations.

Travelling from Brisbane on our way to the Mega at Morisset. Stopped at the Club but did not go in - had more important things to do. Walked to GZ and like the pokies the bells started ringing - yes found on first look. TFTC

This locality is one of the most scenic we have encountered and we managed not only to find this great cache but have lunch at the tavern and a swim in the bay. Fav point alloc. Thanks to bobbiesgirl for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.

After another great weekend in South West Rocks we have to head home - we stopped for a dozen caches on the trip, and found 11 of them. We haven't left many unfounds in the SWR area, but we'll be back next year.....
Our last unfound in the SWR area (apart from the Borefields Trail - we have to leave something for our next trip. TFTC bobbiesgirl.

Today we moved on from Scotts Head and decided to have a look at South West Rock, a place we have not been to before.
We have set up camp nearby so headed off on the deadly treddly to find a few caches nearby.
This was the final cache on the ride before we turned back for camp.
It took quite a while as we searched despite the clue until we finally read the description. Doesn't it pay to do that first?
After that we found it much easier!
Now for the ride back to camp!
