Sadly, the area where this geocache was located has been extensively renovated and the hiding spot no longer exists
No luck today after half an hour searching thru blackberries, bark, mud, branches, sticks just a whole lot of general forest debris and a couple of leeches also tried to assist with the search. TFTC

So after spending a bit of time in Walhalla and attending a couple of events I then headed out with jascat insearch of some unloved caches before heading home, it had been some time since this one was found so this was the first one we tackled.
We arrived at GZ and started searching the area but after a while we still had not found it so it was now time for the stick treatment, where you grad a stick and start poking and scratching around everywhere with it, it was still a while but the end this treatment worked and the cache was uncovered, the log was signed and the cache was once again shown some love.
**Thanks to LemurMan1 for placing this cache.**

Out picking up a few caches after today’s event. A bit of off-roading to get to this one. This was a well hidden cache. Nice to be able to show this cache some unlove after 390 days.

Tftc. Well back here after 45 years when I came as a scout for a rowdy weekends camping. The picnic area gums are just magnificent. The log gathers even more forest litter. Dried the log ofg a bit while logging it and placed it in a new zip-lock.
What a great little spot here, with the river flowing at this convergence, it was really lovely.
Thanks for placing this cache and showing us this spot that we otherwise wouldn't have known was here.

15/01/2017 7:01:00 PM - Today I teamed up with my caching friend Square_pegs and headed out this way for some exploring and to find this cache. We couldn't have asked for a better day for it! Now this was a strange cache to find because we got lost on our way to another cache. Yeah, yeah I know what you're thinking - "how can anyone get lost when they've got multiple GPS devices and satellite mapping"? Well I'm going to blame Kathy...the girl who voices my in car navigation for not knowing where the road was we needed to be on and we ended up following rugged barely used dirt tracks before realising that we weren't getting closer to our target. An hour or more was wasted but we got this cache as a bonus! And what a nice location it is too. The rivers were showing off how good it is here.
Thanks LemurMan1 Cache is good condition.

Yep it is a nice picnic area although today it was a tad wet underfoot! I wondered why camping wasn't allowed - aside from being a rather water-logged camping area - until we went further up the road to the scout/school camping area where for the bargain price of $25 one could pitch ones tent in a relatively drier area. Don't ya just luv the entrepreneurial spirit of scouts! $Kaching!

Easter camping weekend at the nearby Caringal Scout Camp. Not as quick as we thought it would be. Nicely hidden. SL TFTC
This was on our way to the new cache so a minor detour. Took a while to find the well covered hide with some spots and levels to look in. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC
Visiting here was quiet special, as used to camp here with my late Mum at Caringal Scout camp. Took a big of searching and digging but eventually found dry and high. All signed the log and took in the scenery. Then went and placed one!
Found during a caching run with Ahomburg, Jacko83, The Pacman, & Bentley Parker. A nice little spot that did not want to cough up the cache, eventually found by Ahomburg. Thank you LemueMan1 for the cache.
Out on a mini-expedition with Mudbrick, AHomburg, Jacko83 and geodog Bentley exploring the local historic towns.
This took us a surprisingly long time to find, but with many busy watchful eyes the cache was eventually unearthed by AH.
Thanks, LemurMan1.

Road Trip!! Jacko83, Mudbrick, The Pacman and I hit the road, heading towards Walhalla for a bit of a walk in the area. I had actually been past here before, but not stopped for the cache. It took us a few minutes, but in the end The very well hidden container was found.

Picked the Venturers up from camp and told them that they had to help. Well...they minded the car. Found quickly with the preloaded gps (knew there was no smartphone reception). Had to wait until Moe to log (essential post camp junk food stop). Lid a little mouldy inside. TNLN TFTC
Got a chance to check this Geocache as there have been three "cannot find" logs.
It is still there and in good condition. Even found a black biro within a foot of geocache - so someone was very very close.

I visited this cache today with two other muggle friends. The weather was cold and wet with rain falling on and off. This was quite out of our way as we were headed for Bairnsdale but I needed to cache as it was the closest to my cache centroid and I needed for a particular challenge (GC59WFG).
Unfortunately we had to leave today with a DNF after a good 90minutes of searching. Our GPSr was jumping all over the place but we did find the general area that matched the description and hint. Despite our best efforts which included scouring the logs & widening our search area, we were unable to locate the elusive container. I considered getting some help but there was no mobile phone coverage.
Left guttered but that is part of the pain of geocaching. TFTH LemurMan1.

On a mission with kyabbott kid free for the day and determined to find a nearby FTF puzzle. we stopped at this gorgeous little spot and faked a nicpic for the nearby campers then went for a hunt. While I examined areas that required more acrobatics than the terrain listing would indicate kyabbott stuck closer to gz and just as we were about to give up she made a discovery that encouraged further poking around... bingo! TFTC and for bringing us to this lovely spot
Kato Potato and I were off today in hopes of a FTF. This cache was on our way there so we stopped and had a snack to put off the nearby campers. We then circled the possible cache locations, dodging some stinging nettle and found ourselves at gz. We searched for a while, removed some things and moved others around but couldn't spot anything. We moved on over to another possibility assuming that our phones weren't accurate this far from civilization and under trees but that turned up nothing. Kato performed some excellent acrobatics to get up onto the giant tree log but to no avail. I returned to the original gz and found evidence of a cacher's previous presence. A little more peeping and I saw the well camouflaged cache. TFTC LemurMan1, this one took some hunting!
An awesome day was had, out and about today cache hunting.
Found five, DNF two & placed 2
Travelled 165 K's Furthest cache I looked for from home was 32 Kilometres away as the crow flies.
Left home at 9 and got back at 4.
This was the fifth cache of the day. After a I had placed my second cache of the day it was time to head back home. I decided at the spur of the moment to drive down to Caringal and get this cache.
After a bit of search and reading the clues, I finally found the cache and I duly signed the log.
Thanks for bringing me up to this great spot. When I was younger I always used to come up here camping. It brought back a lot of memories.

Find #89. What a great hide and in a very beautiful part of the world. Caringal is a lovely place to camp and explore over a weekend. Thanks LemurMan1 FTC.
Even with two gps receivers could not locate a gz,they took me everywhere but where it was. Thanks LemurMan1 FTHunt.
