HI. Pretty sure i found the post but new earthworks have knocked it over. Welfare check please. Cheers
The bike trail is no more and it’s a work zone. At dusk poking around in mud on a road construction site wasn’t the best plan.
Visiting Auckland from Wellington and have some time to kill so thought I'd find a few caches, and this was one. Again like the previous finder I found the hint object I am unexpected position, and after some manoeuvring found the cache intact.
Find number 6066. A couple of days caching in Auckland. Doing the cycle trail from Mangere to the Airport. Found 45 caches in the day. Weather was trying to rain but so far I have managed to stay dry. After lunch at a nearby cafe I headed around to this one. The BMX track appears to no longer be in use as there is major earthworks going on in the area. The hint item was quickly spotted but it is not in it's natural position but cache all good. Thank you for the placement
Dropped a friend off at the airport, and decided to search for a few caches before heading back to Hamilton.
Thanks for the cache keylev

Up in Auckland for the weekend staying at the Ibis .grabbing a few caches with my sister and daughter.
I dropped off Ms M in Mangere this morning and headed out to Natural High and hired a bike to cache the trail on the cycleway.
I missed the post and ended up at the next one. Followed the GPS back and made the find.
After the admin was completed I was called over by Airport security. He told me that this bike park is closed with the adjacent road construction so I wasn’t able to attempt the other three caches in the park.

And now we understand the names, after seeing the relevant signs. It was visible, but not a place people would look. Wet log sheet but waterproof paper so... and this is the way out to the main drag- we survived the bike track!
Out enjoying a bike ride and collecting some caches this afternoon. Nice quick find, cheers
While waiting for our flight, we went for a walk and collected some caches. Once we found the post we soon had the cache located. TFTC
Our last day in Auckland and filling in time on our way to the airport. Having a late flight meant time for one last look around some random areas of Auckland and pick up a quick cache or two.
Mrs Perpetuallylost couldn't get me to stop the car quick enough when she spotted the shops nearby. I just headed off for more caches!
Took a while to find the hint item as it was almost covered in furze and long grass but once found the cache was an easy find.
Looks like the track is past it's heydey but still good for cachers! Thx keylev and cheers from an Aussie on holidays!

I had promised to bring my niece and nephews back to complete the remainder of the caches along the Mangere cycleway today. While in the area we decided to come and find the caches around this BMX track hoping that it would be quiet early this morning.
Walked right by GZ before realising that the hint item we were searching for has been knocked over and concealed by the long grass, but we found it in the end.

Earth works taking place appear to have destroyed the nearby entrance. The post is pushed over but lifting it worked out.
as we had a bit of a wait for our flight I couldn't wait to head out for a walk to grab some caches, this one took much longer than it should have but found in the end gz is lovely and quite so that was a great help thanks for the placement
#10,760. A walk in the rain in Auckland Airport in Auckland. Met a family enjoying the Runway Mountain Bike Park tracks. Fortunately, GZ itself was all quiet during the visit. Found after a short search. The cache was in good condition, all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.
Thanks for the placement and for bringing us to this site, and …

Found with Madcow2. A few hours to spare between flights. We enjoyed the walk. TFTC
Found this one on a stroll around the airport on this beautiful afternoon. Thank you very much for the cache and greetings from Switzerland.
Wanted to stretch our legs after a flight up from christchurch and collecting the car. Nice little walk prior to our drive home and inbetween showers of rain. TFTC
I also found a log without a container but then noticed the container WAS actually there, with alternative paper and about three sigs on it. Have reunited the lot! TFTC
Walked along the very overgrown track and after a short search the cache was found and signed

Just found while waiting 4 brunch. Waterproof log with no container but easily signed Tftc
Found this one tonight while collecting my son from the airport. The post was lying down and there was no log paper in it. I added a bit of paper for now but it's not waterproof so it probably won't last long. Our first find of the day - 3 dnfs in Auckland today so we're not doing well. The kids enjoyed playing around in the dark with the torch, TFTC
It was an early 4am start to snag a flight to Auckland and a few hours hanging around before snagging another flight to Raro - Our destination for a week caching. So lets explore around the airport while waiting.
We have walked in a big circle and now near our lunch stop at Subway. But time to check this one out first. The Seagnoid had a look but I looked better and snagged this one. Now tagged. Cheers. Time for lunch. Yes.

Tftc for the nice day come to clean out some more caches in Auckland as well caches with HRP
Got the early morning flight into Auckland, and have the late afternoon flight out, so Taybeedragon and I are killing time with geocaching. We walked for hours! Stopped here along the way.
At last, nearly lunchtime and we are back at subway, on queu for our event. But time to grab this one first. I did a quick frisk and found no decent sized caches. The dragon followed me with a detail search and found the micro.

Enduring a 10 hour wait at the airport, walked over to countdown for a cheap snack and decided to find a few caches. Good way to pass the time.
Nice and sunny weather today, so I decided to make a little tour in this area. I enjoyed a lot of nice places and being outside in the sun. I could find all the Caches, excpt the last one.
Walked to here and made a quick find.
Thanks for hiding!

Unbeknownst to me, GAR had been trying to call me. Seems there was something funky going on with my phone and it wasn't until a restart that I got his message he was waiting for me in the carpark nearby. I immediately came to get him but then found the plane that was bringing our daughter back was delayed so we still had some time. These caches have been haunting me but we don't have bikes. The track appeared to be closed today so, despite warnings to the contrary, we decided to get these caches on foot. Quick find at GZ. Thanks for bringing us here keylev. The track so far is ok but the rest we saw has seen better days. Wet weather and storms not helping!
A 2.5hr layover and 4 caches. Yes we can! Badger badger! What an awesome first visit to New Zealand. An a quick layover from down under to up and over I managed to sneak out of the airport and race to four caches. All of them were quick finds. TFTC
Something's weren't in the position I'd expect but cache was easy to find which is good as I'm keen to be home after a long weekend away.
To dark. Found a couple of objects to match the hint but couldn't see the cache. I note previous logs say well hidden and since there is horse there, the light of the phone at 4am just doesn't cut it.
I sussed out Air New Zealand Grab-a-seats from Palmy to Auckland and return last December, $19.00 each way, & paid with airpoints. Again two weeks later, another good deal for the following day. Weather forecasts for several days had been conflicting - but it was pleasant again today to be out walking. With the plane delayed, I had only two & a half hours today for my cache walk-about. I found six caches today, 1 DNF (because of time limit), & another had muggles nearby, in no hurry to go. My eyesight at present is not 100% (awaiting cataract procedure), and some caches took longer to locate than they should have. Thanks keylev for the cache.
I was near the airport so stopped in here for a quick look. No muggles about, a few hint items spotted, checked a few and soon found. Log paper damp, but nice that it’s waterproof so still works. TFTC
Had some time to spare at the airport with sixy2sue and dr cel..., so thanks for the cache.
Easy find on a deserted track this early Friday morning. Flew in last night from the home of the "original stash" with kiwisteve2. Tftc
Heading back up north after a few days away in the Sth Island, so just had to stop for one more, before hitting the road.
Drove around the back of the shops and parked up near GZ and had a look for the hint object. The obvious one seemed a bit far away though, but once out of the car, the right one came into view and the cache was soon located. TFTC

We were passing nearby so stopped off to pick this one up. We didn't realise this area was here and would have looked for the rest in the series but had to be somewhere so it will have to wait for another day. A bit of a shame as today would have been perfect as it was raining and no mountain bikers were in sight.
Nice hiding spot, we look forward to finding the rest soon. TFTC.

Final cache on the way to Airport to return home to Chch after a xmas holiday in Auckland with family.
Thank you
Thank you
12.50pm - Round and round at first but with hint cache soon spotted. Another good cache hide. SLTFTC
Nice quiet spot! Just a lone skink to see. A good place to explore while waiting for the rellies to arrive!
Found w/ darkangel and brand0n97 on a geocaching adventure. Nice and easy park and grab tftc
Our looking for all the airport caches and had this one on the list. Great find thank you
Made hard work of this one. Mind you we were a bit tired after our bike ride. TFTC
Ignored the closed signs as I went to find this cache. and it was dark, so wasn't feeling too conspicuous as I searched around in the grass for this cache!
Wandered over to get this one which took me a little longer than expected to find but then my gps settled and I had it. Thanks keylev.
Lots of work around the place, access through a worksite. no problems, relatively easy find despite some mud. TFTC, cheers nzkeko
Heading to the airport to pick up a family member so thought I head up a few hours earlier and go find a few caches in the area.
A nice easy find here, and a short walk as I parked within a few meters of the cache. Thanks for the hide.

01/07/17 14:55 it was a cold and miserable day so made this into a drive-by. Feeling generous, I replaced the saturated log with a waterproof variety. Please insert log into lid before screwing base on, so it fits, like all nano's logs should. Thanks for this, a quick break after dropping pax at AKL. Cheers, GC.
Didn't do the track but stopped for this cache. Log book was pretty wet... Might need a new one. Thanks for hiding!
My second go at this one and found straight away. How I missed this first time I will never know.TFTC
17:25
Before crushing for the night at a nearby hotel we took a walk on the bike track.
TFTC and greetings from the Czech Republic!

Found with kiwitrecker1 while waiting for family to disembark after an aircraft break down. Log is soggy but was able to get the ink to stick. TFTC!!

We parked our hire vehicle down the street and walked to this area. We were early to the airport for our return flight to Brisbane and then on to Cairns. No one around as we started to walk the bike track. Found the landmark referred to in the hint and very quickly had the cache container located.
Thanks for this hide.
Thanks for this hide.
This was more of an initial approach for me! Having a five hour stopover between flights, this was an ideal caching destination. Everything was nice and quiet, and with the sun out after the rain it was so nice to be out. I have to admit this one took me a while to spot, and I almost gave up! But being stubborn helps, and I finally located it!! TFTC!!
The log is soggy, but just managed to sign it...( getting fairly full too) .
Didn't know about this park or think to bring bikes. Oh well, wouldn't want to work up too much of a sweat before my flight out. Only did the 1 cache, as hubby didn't want to leave the van & my stuff to long... Or really the croquet set he scored for cheap on Trademe we picked up on the way !! Haha. Though we Did have a game & round of sundowners on the lawn nearby ! while killing time before my flight. Tftc!

TFTC!!! Quick grab before flying back home to the Netherlands! Logbook is soaked. Needs service.
