Heading north for a family reunion and stopped overnight in Hastings. No joy here this morning. Went to the wrong power box initially as I had no photo available on the GPS. Once I spied the other box I had a good look around as per the hint. Maybe it was too cryptic. Perhaps its gone. Time will tell.
Heute mussten wir einkaufen gehen und da lag der Cache quasi auf dem Weg. Nach kurzer Suche gut getarnt gefunden und jetzt stehen wir auch im Logbuch. Herzlichen dank fürs (Pf)Legen des Caches!
Thanks for the cache!

Had to pick up a few bits from the nearby supermarket and saw this was very close.
Viv found it whilst Tim brought the camper round.
Not sure if it should be attached? If so it isn't anymore. Left as found.

Almost thought it wasnt there, as g-2 usually hides.. other stuff as well.. managed to get it by, what felt like, luck.
Now.. replacing it took most of an hour, as it seemed like half the local maori population decided to converge on the area for a meetup.. managed to go do my shopping and come back and they were still there.. argh!.. Finally just did the phone trick and wandered a little arouind in the are.. 'dropped something' and kicked at it with my shoe.. and voila!.. sigh..

This weekend was a caching road trip to the Hawkes Bay with Mr Gap, something we have not done together in a long while.
Weather forecast was good so we set off late Friday afternoon arriving in the Hawkes Bay about 7.30pm so settled in to our accomodation and planned our weekend of caching.
We needed a couple of caches today for a personal challenge we are doing which we were able to collect.
Saturday started off very slowly with some caches taking longer to find than others but once we started doing the trails in the area caches came fairly quickly.
Had some interesting chats with people on the way, wondering what we were up to.
A few of the caches on the trail were quite damp but still writeable.
Sunday was homeward bound so made caches we picked up were mostly drive bys.
Great weekend with 52 caches collected for the weekend. SLTFTCaches

Wonderful camo on this cache. Thank goodness it was early so I could have a good look around without being spotted
I knew I was in for it when I saw who laid the cache... master of camo! ... I’ve done a lot of his in Coromandel Peninsula. As I expected, great hide.. thanks!
Qwesy!

A quick find after someone came out of next door and knew what I was looking for tftc
Can the next visitor pleas bring a replacement nano size log, the person who was looking after this one has moved away, thanks
Found but missing lid and log. Looks like some handiwork to make this one. Placed at GL where found. CHLYBN
This one was ultimately our last on a very long day. We set our own personal record (which seems high to us, but I've seen some ridiculous 1 day numbers) and then had this nifty little cache to end the day. Amazing construction - definitely one of a kind in all my caches. Thanks for that. Favourite point.
I really thought that this one had gone but Mr E picked it up with a questioning look, and yes! Replaced the full log book with a small strip of waterproof paper. Another G-2 challenge ticked off, thanks!
Can someone please put in a new log, the person who was maintaining has moved out off the area
Day 13 of our North Is trip, and today we are based in Havelock North. And after days of warm, sunny weather, we experienced drizzle today, but we didn't let that dampen our caching activities too much.
It never ceases to amaze me where G--2 caches pop up. This was a quick find, but the lid of the tube was missing and the log book has gone AWOL. We popped in a scrap of paper as a temporary log book.
The flowers are a nice way to disguise an otherwise ugly box. TFTC.

#13827. The cache is small and well camo'ed, and I was lucky to spot it straight away. TFTC.
wow im so glad to finally mark this as found, not what we thought it was going to be. TFTC
I've had a couple of quick looks over the past weeks and came up empty handed. So today after work drove up to GZ for another look. While I was looking in the wrong place, a couple of fellow cachers pulled up and directed me in the right direction. Hey presto, cache soon in hand, log signed and replaced in quick time. Loved the camo. Got a favorite tick from me. Cheers.
We have a set of five of these containers......
Haven't used one yet, it's a miracle what they can be used for it seems, this wasn't the park and grab it looked like it was going to be, but patience pays off and cache was found and extracted.
All good here, camo, cache and log.
Cheers

Finally a find for us today, awesome camo, love that we can have a smiley face for this one finally.
8.00am. An early start to avoid the muggles. Soon had this in hand. Thanks Glen for a typical hide.
Thank you. David.
Thank you. David.
Great camo. Looked in a number of places before found. Security guard from the supermarket across the road seemed quite interested in what we were up to. Or maybe there was just a lot of trolleys to collect. tftc

Wow, not a camo I've come across before, and it works really well too, a tricky little find! As others have said, log is full, tftc

Nearly gave up with this one. And lucky I didn't need to go get my tetanus injection. Might consider making the edges not so rough and rusty now.. Did with Buttels
We did this one after the St George Trail in the evening so there were no muggles tonight. CF found it while I visited the supermarket for supplies. It took some searching to fine though. Found with Crystal Fairy on a mild Winter evening. TFTC
Found on a sedate 3-day road trip to Napier with Infoferret.
A nice sneaky hide - not where I expected it to be! This has given me some ideas for a bit of camo of my own.

Ooohh this was sneaky but loved it!!
Thanks for the cache last one of the day starting to cool off now looking forward to a nice hot shower.

That's a good find as it is detached, log almost full. Lots of people are using a lot of space. We signed NZK and just used one space. TFtC
I can't believe I just found this, easy as anything, no help! Was at new world and thought I'd wander over and see if I'd missed anything. And there it was. 3 x dnf's before (think I logged them) but relieved I finally found it
Finally found after a couple of visits. I think the container has become detached from its original carrier, but it is still there if you look hard enough
Vary busy on the roads while we were there, but it was reasonably easy to make the find without being too obvious thanks to the clue. Loved the camo too. Thanks G-2's Bodyguard.
Mum and the kids were out in Hastings today, and Mum had been wanting to complete this cache for a while...
Having completed a few G-2 caches in Auckland, Mum knew it wouldn't be straight-forward... GZ was quiet today which allowed for some serious searching (and a lot head-scratching). Mum returned to the car a few times to check and re-check hint etc... it was on one of these occasions when 10YO handed her the cache... Given the camo, Mum secretly isn't sure she would have found it if 10YO hadn't!!!
Love the location - the New World opposite the cache is AMAZING - Mum's paradise! - The best supermarket she has ever seen!!!
Favourite point from us!

spent a good 20 minutes hunting for this one in the dark but still could not find it will go back another day and have a hunt around!
Found in Jan, didn't have pen as spur of the moment after visiting the supermarket near by, gave pic for proof though
Always know it will be a bit of a challenge when it's a G-2 cache and this was no exception. Thankfully, being early morning, I was able to find it after a search that took longer than it should've. A very clever hide, gets a favourite from us. TFTC G-@, #7772
Reasonably quiet today, being Easter Sunday, so we were able to have a good look for this one. Weren't completely sure that Jr. Cacher #1 had actually found the cache as it wasn't quite what we were expecting. A group of muggles came and sat nearby while we were signing the log in the car but they were somewhat self-absorbed and were looking elsewhere when we quietly replaced the cache. TFTC.
Very well diguised ,took a few sneaky looks before a clicked on to the cache . Very busy intersection .tftc
Found this time quickly. Funny when you come back to something you think differently.
On a visit to NZ from West Australia.....back home and now entering my finds. TFTC
Found easily enough during our quick visit to Hastings! Cool camo - we're quite amazed it just stays where it is! TFTC!
Interestingly enough we found 2 of them! Maybe it was replaced and then the original has been found again? Couldn't get either log book out to sign our name.
I found this cache with my Mum (SunnyBunny64) earlier in the year but have only just got my own geocaching account. I'm hoping you won't mind me back dating this find so that I can log all the ones I have actually found in my own account - Jordis 7yrs
Got me stumped on this one. It didn't help that the owner from the shop next door kept coming put and looking at me sideways! Might need to go back in the weekend when town is quieter so I can have a better look.
Found it. Dont no if it should be were I found it. Looks like it should be stuck to something
Cool design and nice to see, there is some interesting artwork these days on such utility boxes. Not an immediate find but didn't take too long despite the craftiness of the hide, which of course I was expecting
