We stayed overnight at the free caravan park just next to the bath. Yesterday we enjoyed the warm water. The hardest part is to go out of the water. That's why we didn't go this morning. It was too chilly.
Instead we had a look for the cache. Nice and easy find. Let's go to the next artesian bore bath in Lightning Ridge.
Thanks for showing! Tftc

After two nights camping at Pilliga Bore we came to have a look at Burren Junction's as we leave. A fairly rutted road from Pilliga, quite glad it wasn't longer! A lot of campers here but fortunately nobody at GZ and only a few in the pool. Found the cache then realised it not only had no lid, there was nothing inside. Looked around the ground and found an empty log and a pencil which we replaced in the container. No sign of the lid so we inserted a stick through the holes in an effort to keep things in. We've always wanted to see the thermal pools in this area.....finally did it! TFTC Whitey Wiskas.
Camping here for the night so grabbed this cache on the way over for a dip. Water wasn't as clear as the pool we visited last year at Lighting Ridge but definitely smelt better and the regulars say it's more therapeutic without the chlorine that most hot springs have.
Thanks for putting a cache at a place we planned on visiting anyway.

Another nice quick find for the eagle eyed Mrs Hruntmaster. Another great place caching has brought us to
Lots of muggles around but none near the cache fortunately. Quite an interesting place. T4TC

Found by Pat & Cheryl at 11:25 am. Thanks for bringing us to this great location and helping us to increase our tally. Really enjoyed this cache Whitey Wiskas and this is #1233 so far for us.
Found while camping at Pilliga Bore which I prefer. I also just submitted one on the Pilliga wetlands.

Looks like the annual Grey Nomad migration, south for the winter is in full swing already [:o]
The place was a caravan and campervan city !!
I hopped out of the geomobile, trying hard not to be noticed.
I didn't want to get cornered by some septuagenarian intent on talking to me for hours
GZ was deserted
Everyone was in the pool next door.
It looked like a scene from that movie ... "Cocoon"
The cache was a quick find and I continued on me journey
TFTC in a quirky place !!

After a thorough search, all we came across was a lid from a magnetic key container on the ground very close to GZ. We were so convinced the cache had been muggled we replaced the cache with a bison tube that we won at the mega event. We wouldn't normally do that without permission from the CO but thought it would be too coincidental for it not to be the remains of the cache. Hope that was ok? TFTC!

Too many Muggles and started to shower so didn't hang around after the lunch break. Will pick it up another day another trip.
On the fifth day of our camping trip, we continued west: Inverell, Bingara, Narrabri, Wee Waa and Pilliga. Every now and then we stopped for a cache.
We had planned to camp here but it was too extremly open, and it was a very hot day. Qe just located the cache and drove away.

We have returned from Canada to discover a few more Australian caches! What a great way to explore the "land down under."
When we pulled in we found there was a dog tied up at GZ while the owner was in the pool. Luckily the dog turned out to be friendly.
Thanks for the fun Whitey Wiskas!
