TFTC!Beautiful spot to enjoy some lunch from the local bakery.Very calm on the lake today.Found @ 11:05amDay 30 of caching streak Find #497
I'm always dubious about logs that state caches were found in 2 seconds, but that's exactly what happened here! Chookster literally found it in the first place he put his fingers....TFTC!
After reading the description and previous logs, we thought we'd be here forever. So many hiding spots and everywhere covered in cobwebs. Sometimes you get lucky. Found within seconds in the first place I looked. Wow... OK... TNLN. Cheers.
YIPPEEEEEEEE I FINALLY FOUND IT!!!!!! After trying and failing for so long. Im so proud of myself hahahaha
Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state of WA on a SA caching foray. Staying in Milang a few days to do the Nurragi track caches and to grab others in the area. This hide is across the road from our caravan park so wandered over to check it out. Cant be reached without climbing on something so it should be a 2 terrain. Clever and sneaky hide. Thanks for the cache LNCU
Travelling with richlink on our Annual Caravan Geocaching road trip, using geocaching as our guide. Staying at Milang for a few days exploring the area and picking up a few caches. along the way. Thanks for the sneaky cache, we think the terrain rating for this cache should be adjusted up. LNCU
Tricky hide and lots of spider webs to slow things down but did find. Water in the lake was super brown today . TFTC .
After a bit of searching, with the assistance of a device and trying to avoid the copious spider webs, we had the cache in our sights. With some petite fingers, we had the cache in hand. TFTC
Stopped here on our way back to Strath hoping for a quick find. Explored lots of options but nada even with 3 of us searching. Had to resort to a PAF and then it was more than easy. TFTC
Found with SpidermonkeysMum. We had stopped nearby for lunch.

Camping at Langhorne creek for a lazy weekend of R&R and of course caching. Out today to Strath for a few supplies and then down to Milang. Over thought this one to start with...then turned on our caching eyes and soon had the cache in hand TFTC
Today we have moved camp from Karoonda to Strathalbyn. Here we will be able to visit our family and find some of the many caches that are available here. After setting up the caravan we headed SW down towards Milang and over to Clayton Bay, we travelled on roads that we have not been on before.
All the caches that we found were in good condition, some were straight forward some a little more tricky. There were ones that we could park next to and others that we needed to walk to.

Found out caching with Wollaston while watching the kite surfers prep their gear, pretty windy and lots of chop on the lake today.
Container condition good
Log condition lots of room
Thanks to CO’s for taking time to set out and maintain hides and for showing us your very special part of the world

On the hunting trail again with SeasonedBird. I’ll leave the more interesting detailed log to Mrs Geo (aka: SeasonedBird, Salty Chook, the Old Boiler, Old Chook, Dirty Bird or Angry Bird) because she writes so much more eloquently than I and usually has much more time to do so while I’m driving. It’s a great day for caching. TFTC Lead 'n Lace

Found by Geohaze, but retrieval was another story. A little innovation, and Haze was able to ‘fish’ it out! Tftc
Out and about caching around the Milang area while staying close by in Victor. Today the Nurragi Walk trail was targeted on the geobike. This cache was one that was found today. This one was a pain in the backside, didn’t need a TOTT as I am tall enough to reach. Found the cache after having a good feel around where we couldn’t see. Coords not too bad, cache in good condition. Thanks for the challenge!

I headed down South today to attend the CITO in Longhorn Creek so decided to make a day of it. I stopped for a few caches before and after and then spent the afternoon in Milang.
Tricky hide. There were a couple of muggles fishing not far away but they didn’t take much notice of my presence so I could search with ease. After methodically checking each potential hiding spot, I eventually found it.
Thanks for the cache Lead 'n Lace.

I would have walked away, but Tweety2 thought of a way to persist. Put came the TOTs and we soon had it. Tweety2 was a little vertically challenged so I got to make the find. TFTC!
Caching around Milang this morning before heading over to Hindmarsh Island [8]. This was our last in the town .
Luckily, everyone else was on the western side, so had the place to ourselves [8)].
Searched around in the obvious places and found the cache when rechecking them .
TNLNSL.
Thanks Lead n' Lace.

Out for another learners drive with my son. We ended up at Point Sturt and Clayton Bay finding caches along the way. This one took us awhile to find and a PAF. TFTC Lead 'n Lace
Definitely a cache for taller people, and those with smaller fingers. Luckily we had one of each in our caching team! Great little hide. TFTC
Finally getting the DNF off this one. An easy find, as we knew were it was, and we quite simply re checked where we had searched 2 years before, and this time, the cache was easily found, within 1 minute. Nice quick find and glad to get the rare blue grumpy face off our stats.

Flukey find while trying to access a different spot! Great to turn a blue to yellow! TFTC
Some serious exploration took place before finding this one. As the tallest in the group I was best placed to locate though.
found with mogni. Last time i passed this point i wasn't a cacher. I stopped and looked. Lucky for me the muggles where to busy fishing. I found the cache but had problems getting it out. Damn fat fingers. My first tott was a fail. Mogni got it out after a while. Smaller more nimble fingers worked in the end.
Today marks the 8th anniversary of my first cache find, down the south tip of Tassie!
Took a while to get going with only 247 caches in that first year but making up for that now...
Didn't have a particular cache in mind, so drove off in a different direction and found a selection of old and new... this was one of them
Had a play with numbers to make things neat today. Finished up getting the 88th cache for the year so far on the 8th year caching anniversary. And I 8 some chips between caches [:o)]
Maybe this'll be a good year to break some personal records
Looked where I looked last time... and bingo, found within 30 seconds of getting here!
The view of the lake was limited today with much smoke in the air from KI fires.
Still a nice place to stop lakeside

Nomads travelling in their caravan around Australia. We have been on the road since July 2011 and discovered caching in August 2013. We travel with a bunch of travel bugs belonging to our sons and grand children. Where ever possible, we will maintain your cache as we travel.
Yay, on the road again, now we are filling in time before we go to Kangaroo Island on 1 Nov. After leaving our van at Langhorne Creek, we went for a quick drive to Milang for a few caches. We were not cachers last time we came through this area
14:56 After only 10 minutes of searching we had it to hand. No tool needed for us today, apart from the name of the cache. Thanks Lead 'N Lace. Bit cool and windy here to day, I wanted to search on the sunnyside.

I had organised with Doctor Owl to do some southern caching after a yummy brekky event this morning. [^]
I had planned a route covering those that we both hadn't found and along the way we stopped to find some others that either of us hadn't found. We had a fun day, travelled on some great dirt roads and tracks and ended up at Strathalbyn for coffee then down to Milang before heading home.
This one has been a blight on my map for four and a half years when I had to walk away with a DNF. Today I was back with Doctor Owl and armed with a bit of info from a previous finder we set about looking/feeling but came up empty handed. The stepladder was retrieved from the car and other places were tried and finally the cache was found. Gee I was glad about that and happily stamped the log.
Thanks for the cache Lead 'n Lace.

Owl's first caching expedition after sick leave, so lovely to share it with JJ52. They didn't get as far as planned, but still further than they expected. Having been given a hint by another cacher met in the field nearby, the two proceeded to eliminate possibilities. Then the stepladder was collected from the Owlmobile and the terrain rating was totally ignored to make the find. Nice to get this one off the map!
Thanks lead and lace. Took some time but managed to see it and fingers got it out
Finally having a day off from work, I joined @Davidwazza and gridge98 on this trail, which was also my first time on a mountain bike! The weather was great to us until the end of the day although there were some grimacing clouds in the sky, it actually turned out to be a perfect day with a lovely temperature and only a few raindrops towards the end of the day. I definitely don't enjoy power trails, but enjoyed the boys doing most of the finds, hopping on and off the bikes, and very much enjoyed the day (although being a power trail).
We started at Marker #1 at the old Sandergrove School, and then rode 10 km towards Milang. At the Finniss-Milang Road, we decided to make a shortcut to the town to have lunch at the bakery before it closed. We then made a small loop of the town collecting those caches, seeing the old train station, and then following the old railway tracks as it returned us back to the Nurragi railway trail. We ended up riding back a little in the Moonlight, a fun day!

Reviewing the weather, @jesswrigley, [@gridge98](http://coord.info/PRGKDMY), and I decided to take our mountain bikes (with [@gridge98](http://coord.info/PRGKDMY) bringing his all-purpose all-terrain geocaching bike) to ride this Nurragi Conservation Reserve linear trail. We studied the photos of the trail to ascertain if it would be too muddy to ride with the rain about the place, but it seemed to be ok to ride. I had spoken to the CO previously who mentioned it was an enjoyable power trail to ride, as some websites suggested it was walking only, but in the end, we were really glad that we rode. It seemed to be quite a slow trail if we were just walking, and we even passed a couple of other riders on bikes also halfway. Although there were some grimacing clouds in the sky, it actually turned out to be a perfect day with the right temperature and only a few raindrops towards the end of the day.
We started at Nurragi Marker #1 at the old Sandergrove School, and then rode progressively through approximately 10 km once we neared Milang at the Finniss-Milang Road, we decided to make a shortcut to the town to have lunch at the bakery before it closed. We then made a small loop of the town collecting those caches, seeing the old train station, and then following the old railway tracks as it returned us back to the Nurragi railway trail. [@gridge98](http://coord.info/PRGKDMY) and I then accelerated our cache collection as time marched on, and had to ride back along the trail back to the car. It took a little more time than what we had planned, and the last few kilometres were done in the dwindling light and dark, which added another adventurous element to the day.
This cache was found during our lunch break whilst cleaning up the Milang caches. This took a bit of searching before finally locating. All three of us were spread around this shelter looking in the various corners, with a previous image narrowing our search. [@gridge98](http://coord.info/PRGKDMY) thought he had a hint, but he was talking so much that his words were fading out from my listening. During my looking, I discovered a feature that would make good hiding spots. Sure enough within a minute, I had made the find. [@gridge98](http://coord.info/PRGKDMY) tried to say it was his idea, but when you talk heaps and have many suggestions, then yes, likely you will be right. Names in the logbook and cache replaced, thanks Lead 'n Lace.

This took a bit of searching, although with a nudge Davidwazza made the find.
A last minute plan last night, and very weather dependent, a plan to head down and complete the Nurragi Walk series with Davidwazza and Jesswrigley. Turned out to be a lovely day and a perfect set up to ride the bikes along the trail.
After completing majority of the series we made a detour into milang to have lunch and find the caches in the town before continuing back along the trail for the remains of the series.

After a surprise Tuesday Trekking this week for some members of the Puzzled Puzzlers as some could only make Tuesday, the usual Wednesday walkabout really was to be a walkabout. [P] We were going to tackle the entire Nurragi Walk from Sandergrove to Milang in one hit. I was joined today by Anymules, Sushilord and Blackadders. Cars either end meant it was only a one way walk!
Having walked the trail it was time to travel by car and find a few more on our way back to the other end. [:o)] Some clown had a BBQ in the shelter and left fat all over the floor. I slipped. [:(!] Meanwhile the cache was found. Well done Blackadders. Now to get it out. Who would have guessed that a key could be used as the special tool required! Well done Anymules.

This cache was found in the final stages of the Wednesday wanderings after the wanders had completed the Nurragi Conservation Reserve power trail on foot.
Now traveling by car, fortified by soft drink, pies and ice cream we tackled this sneaky little bugger. With the 1.5T options ruled out we started searching higher and higher. The snake got his fingers on the cache but couldn't retrieve it, I tried and failed, finally the mule succeeded.

Another day of the usual Puzzled Puzzlers group outing. This time with a Mule, Starfish and A fish Lord.
After finishing the mammoth task of finding all of the nearby newer series it left the few in Milang to be found.
With many hiding hole possibilities the task began. After a shortish search the Adder managed to get the right one but now the attempt at extraction began. First the Adder, then the Mule, then the Fish Lover. The Mule then had an idea of a suitable tool and the cache finally appeared. TFTC

Whilst staying down the road at Clayton Bay, dropped back to Milang for a stint of geocaching. Found Ground 0 easily enough but being only 5'4 I had no hope. Thankfully I have a 6' friend.
Had slight difficulty in extracting this one, but friend is a fisherman and had the right tool to do the job.

Found on second attempt. Read previous logs this time. Thought I would have to come back with a tool when a suggestion was made “why don’t you use the camera on your phone?”
Found at 18:50. I had to retrieve a tool from the car, then it was easy. T2 though

No sign of this one today. Even though we think we made the connections.
We looked high, low, up down, but mainly where logs and friends suggested.
Tools were used to elevate, and to see around corners, and over things and through things...
Sadly nothing was located in a good hour's search.
As we were giving up, some other cachers arrived... we think they were equally unlucky.
Might need a check up, wondering if the roof may have been replaced recently, could it have been disturbed...
Thanks for the challenge Lead 'n Lace ,
will place on the watch list and return asap when it's been found or maintained!

Out with 3 cachers, spent around 30 minutes here, checked up high, no luck. Did find a fishing line in an interesting spot. Spoke to a previous finder, we were looking in correct spot. Probably needs a check by CO after so many dnf's.
Out with Aussie M & M grabbing a few more caches in my new local area. Some were a little harder to find than others.
Sadly this one did not make itself known to us We phoned a friend, we found a likely spot with some fishing line and even a hook, but no cache.

No luck with this one today...it probably is still there...but might need checking...
This one was too good for me and without the geohusband helping I didn't really think I had a chance. He is really good at this sort of cache where nothing seems obvious. One of the bays was in use so couldn't check there but the ones I did look at there was nothing that stood out. Will definitely be back in winter for another look and hopefully some help from the geohusband. TFTH
No luck for us on this one. We kept being drawn to the holes in the top of the bricks, but with such a low terrain rating, knew it wouldn't be up there. Scoured around all four of the alcoves but had to leave empty handed.
This one would have had us giving up until we decided to check recent logs. A huge thanks to Bwana Wobegone for the guidance. Each team member then played a crucial part in reading/solving/locating/extracting the treasure - great teamwork and a fav point for the fun! tftc.
Daytrip to Milang with Pony1966, this one took a while until we read some previous logs, and then a tricky extraction. TFTC
Well our Jewish brethren might find this a hard cache to get, well only half of them I suppose.
