I have replaced the container many times - will archive and look for a new location.
Had a search around a few likely locations but ito no avail. Had to give up after 15 minutes as had to be somewhere. Not sure if we are blind or not. Will try again another day.
School holiday find with youngest son. Sneaky hide that we managed to find quickly with no muggles around, phew! All is well with the cache, nice and dry. TFTC
This one was quickly spotted and retrieved.
I took the waterproof log for a walk so that I could sign it more discreetly away from GZ, then returned it to its hiding spot.
Thanks tmann421 for placing this cache

A lovely summery day and an evening walk led me to this. Couldn't find a different one in the series about a year back when I was new to geocaching. A good clean log and container.

Feeling very happy to find this cache at last -the first time it was missing, second time it could’ve been missing (or I was blind) but this time I have found it. TFTC tmann421; favourite given for the series.

The crazy Labour Weekend plan is now in full swing. McJandals, NZFlossy & Davidson Clan are joining me for 29 TMGT Caches, the Manawatu Shield & Stickman series then whatever we can find in between. We'd just finished Wellingtons TMGT caches and now we're on the way back to our accommodation in Bunnythorpe. Cache found quickly and in good condition thanks to a familiar, straight forward placement. I’m using a Cachly logging template so it's mostly cut'n'paste but I genuinely appreciate the work put into these caches. I’d also like to acknowledge watcache, mar1sa & the TMGT volunteers who have given this trip focus, and all the other COs who have made this trip such an adventure - TFTC
**Trip Stats:** 1 car, 4 Cachers, 90 hrs, 16hrs sleep, 2481Kms, 29 TMGT finds, 238 total Geocache finds.
**Route:** Tauranga - Rotorua - New Plymouth - Whanganui - Palmerston North - Wellington - Napier - Gisborne - Rotorua - Tauranga

Day 3. Targeting TMGT today. With no mega this year, a plan was hatched with Team BOP to come to the lower Nth Island to get some numbers knocked off, so here we are and loving it!! I am logging using the Cachly app template so please excuse generic logging along the way. It’s just my way of keeping track, but I do genuinely thank each and every one of you cache owners for taking the time and energy to place these cache. Many Thanks for bringing me here. Cheers
. Day three on a road trip with Team BOP. Just popped down from Palmerston North for some TMGT and a few others Lots of fun with McJandals, Phillip Perry and Davidson clan visiting some great spots. Really enjoyed these caches and the history. Thanks to the COs for putting these out TFTC
Day 3 of our road trip to get the TMGT caches . Once we have got all the TMGT caches we will target a few high favorite caches before heading back to our accommodation in Bunnythorpe. Last cache here back on the road again

Was in the area to go to the market and a garage sale. Didn't take me long to spot something and have the cache in hand. TFTC
I had looked for this cache some years ago and I remember thinking on the drive home that there was a type of hide that I hadn't checked at. The plan was to return soon to test my theory but for some reason that didn't happen until today. Although I couldn't be at all sure, I wasn't surprised to immediately find the cache as soon as I arrived at the location.
In the vicinity so called on by. Nice little walk and quickly spotted what I needed to. Thanks for the cache.
Day 2 of our New Years trip up to the North Island. Today we traveled from Upper Hutt through the winding Akatarawa Rd up to Palmerston North. A superquick find here and the first place Mum looked. Not many places you could actually hide it down here. Thanks for the effort involved in placing and creating this cache for all of us to enjoy.
A cunning hide but luckily noticed something out of place. Quickly retrieved the cache and signed the log TT & BB . Many thanks.
Found by Tara Ted and Blenheim Bear on the way back from a very successful NZ Mega 2018 in Lower Hutt. A great time was had by all. Thanks for the cache Blenheim Bear
What a cunning little cache hide this is. At first I stood there for a moment thinking where the heck... but then I thought ok, maybe there, and yep. Nice one. TFTC
As it was such a lovely afternoon we walked to this one from our motel. We have now found all 5 of the Short-Cut series.
I was in and around Waikanae this evening, and thought I'd take advantage of the opportunity to try for some caches away from home to get my numbers up towards the magic 1000 which I will be hoping will be the WENZ Mega event itself this coming Saturday.
The third of this series attempted today, and the third find. But the only one to not involve a direct confrontation (for better or worse) with a muggle. It took me a few minutes to locate this one, but I got there in the end and all was fine with this cache so once signed it was replaced as found ready for the next searcher.
Thank you for placing all your caches. I believe you have become the CO I've found the most caches of lol!

I can't remember if I attempted this one previously - I definitely didn't log a DNF on it if I had. Got to GZ and started having a look - there's not many places for it to hide but I remembered another hide by the CO so thought I had a good idea as to the nature of this one. And indeed it wasn't long before I spotted something interesting and soon had the cache extracted. Nice one! I had to work quickly as I heard muggles approaching, but I had everything sorted by the time they had got to the walkway. TFTC
Love this hide! We were just logging it and a muggle came along - pretended to be checking an injury on daughter. Looking forward to doing the other 2 in the series. TFTC.
In the area with some time to spare, so of course will spend it finding some of the local caches. A great wee hide here, all safe and dry. TFTC
Found while out wit the parents on mothers day. Took 5 of us about 15mins to find. Very sneaky hide. Tftc
Once again, thank you tmann421 for these challenging and different caches. Sneaky hide
Found lid to container but log sheet and container were probably taken by a muggle
We technically found it but container and log sheet were missing only the lid was there as it was attached to a piece of string
Out for a Geocaching walk with my four year old granddaughter.
Our second short cut cache and another great hide.
I was the one to make the find and then I told my granddaughter that my fingers were too big to extract the cache and so she had to get it out for me. Full of purpose she proudly pulled it out and unscrewed the lid.

Did not find this one spent over an hour looking, would appereciate it if the placer could check to see if it's still there,
Thanks.
Thanks.
A quick grab of a few caches after completeing the Akatarawa traverse.

Wow! This one took us 3 times to find. All the other previous clues are spot on we just keep searching elsewhere. Clever clever
This alley is like a pinball lane. If any muggles turn up there's nowhere to hide nor anything else you can be pretend to be doing. I happened to reading logs on my phone at the time I was muggled so I don't know how that looked standing in the middle of an alley! This hide must be unlike the other shortcut camos from this tmann421 because I just couldn't figure out where it was hidden - traditionally or otherwise. In the end another muggle arrived which signalled my departure but I'd been searching for long enough anyway.
Second unsuccessful attempt - my caching brain obviously not suited to the (unaccustomed) heat!
Found on a beautiful sunny afternoon on my way home to Wellington. Made a quick find at GZ, due to perfect coordinates. TFTC
11pm and nothing to do, so son and I decided to tiki-tour around Waikanae while we were down from Tauranga visiting family.
Only 2 caches to go till my 1700th cache, so I targeted tmann421 caches that were new since I was last here.
I enjoyed the previous Short-Cut caches, so this was an obvious cache to come to next.
We stopped in the obvious spot as the GPS wasnt helping much (it was in the car), and the Android version was not much better - and that was in my hand.
Luckily found the sneaky hide in the first place I looked. A good hide.
Thanks Tmann.

Immediately after #2, I had an idea of what I should be looking for, but no luck. Light was fading, so I decided the torch might be helpful. Something odd in the very first place I looked proved triumphant. Thanks very much!
This one took a little while.. just as I'd found it, I got scared by noises from the yard behind me. Good hide

Out and about bright and early for a caching trip to Waikanae area today. Having been part way up Paekakariki Hill Road and into Queen Elizabeth Park, now making my way into Raumati and Kapait before heading to Waikanae for lunch. Made my way down the walkway and thought "there's nowhere to hide anything here". Took note of my surroundings and had a think about previous caches I had found and then spotted something a little bit out of place. Aha, there it is. TFTC
this was the first of the short cuts we found, nice quick and easy no one on the path so was a nice easy find. tftc
Didnt realise Waikanae had some many shortcuts. Come into this one just after a muggle dogwalker & her greyhound came thru. Took a minute or two to find then was just coming away when a lady with a pram came thru. TFTC
Quick find but log is really full, struggled to put log on it, needs attention TFTC
A nice quick find on a lovely evening with no one about. So peaceful around here ..... Log is full tftc
Bit of a romp around Waikanae, picking up caches here and there.
Enjoyed the shortcut series. Some clever hides. Thanks for the challenges!
A straightforward find on this one. All in order; log signed, cache then safely re-hidden.
The log is full - needs replacing.
TFTC found with team cacher Sweet P too
The Turtle strikes again!

Looked everywhere and had a lovely chat with a neighbour hanging out her washing, but could not find it.
This took us a while, and nearly beat us, but then warfi came up trumps. Great hide, tftc
Simple but very clever hide. Spent ages looking in the wrong places, having glanced at this spot when I first got here but saw nothing obvious. Very satisfying to find.
9.05am. My second attempt. looked for ages before I finally spotted what I had decided the cache must look like! Great to be able to cross this off the list. A favourite point for the difficulty.
Thank you. David.
Thank you. David.
Straightforward find, on the way down to Paraparaumu to pick up my daughter and son-in law (2wombles) and my grandson. Thanks for the cache.
Second time lucky. Tricky tricky tricky. Super satisfying to finally find it.
This one got the better of us, will have to return when the light isn't fading as we really enjoyed the first two in this series.
Another of tmann's cunning hides! Knew in advance to look with different eyes for this one, they're always clever! Thanks tmann I enjoy these
Had a couple of days staying in Paraparaumu and manged to get quite a lot of caching time. Fair bucketing down for a good portion of both days - hence some very very short logs in an attempt to keep the logs as dry as possible! Thanks for the caches, neat area to cache in.
very cool had to walkup and down the alley twice to find this one. snd of course its "the putting back that counts"
