Headed to Waikanae North this afternoon to pick up a cache or two. Ended up getting three in the area. This was the last of them. Decided Id need to find it by feel. Didnt take too long to hit the jackpot although I almost missed it the container was smaller than I was expecting it to be! #7697. TFTC.
#14,958. I see from your cache page its almost a park and reach. I was a bit more restrained and parked a few metres away and had to walk to earn my cache find. Found after a short search. Interesting feature on the roadside. Not been down this way before. Quick sign and return. Thanks tmann421 for placing the cache here.
A quick stop after doing some errands, found after a few feels. Thanks tmann421
Came from the cannon ball run event. Joint with 5G Clan. After checking a few spots we soon had the cache in hand and signed, interesting spot. I wrote in the log and placed the cache carefully back as found. TFTC. Thanks tmann421 for placing this Traditional cache! tmann421 , ! 2 March 2024 at 4:32PM#886th Find
Happy to find this cache whilst down in Wellington for a few days. A great little spot here, TFTC
Parked the car, sat down by the cache, signed the log and only just got up when a muggle walked by and just smiled and said hello, otherwise all good here, tftc tmann421
This was one of my target geocaches today en-route to the CO's event. Excellent. TFTC
Macfam41 found it on a very windy day. Unique cache. Not what I was expecting but a quick find none the less

A nice little area, and fortunately the cache was found, signed and replaced before the muggles arrived. TFTC

Holidaying with the family for a few days on the coast. While they caught Santa’s train I was sent on a mission to the supermarket. Time for a short diversion to make this find on the way. TFTC
Of course it was the last place I looked! All quiet here today. Interesting to see this feature in a street. Thanks for the cache
From Auckland.
Dankie/TFTC.

A nice afternoon to pick up some caches in Waikanae. Short hunt for the cache before locating. All good, but kept a weather eye out for observers. Tftc!
Travelled down to Paraparaumu for some caching. Now heading back to Palmy and stopped for one last cache. Starting to drizzle so no muggles about. Couldn’t see but did feel the cache. Signed and returned as found. Thanks for the smiley.
I had DNFed the original version of this cache, but it seems it would have been harder to spot and at that time it was very difficult to search owing to a number of passing muggles in vehicles, together with activity at the nearby house.
All nice and quiet this morning so I could search more effectively.
Took a couple of passes to get my hands on the cache this time but no problems once I did apart from the fact that my pen didn't want to write properly on the log paper so the result is a bit messy!
Interesting to see how this area has developed and more development in progress.

Time to stop for morning tea and this cache was the perfect spot to stop. Nice and quiet here. TFTC
Qef in a suburb new since I last came. Plenty of house nearby that can watch.

Heading up north to pick up a variety of caches for an internet-based challenge. It was still dark when I pulled up. Looked in a couple of spots before putting my hands on the cache. Signed the log and replaced. All good here. An interesting area with the new subdivisions. TFTC
Very disappointed the original cache hide has been taken.
I like the location although it is more open to view by muggles now.
I have replaced the container with a fairly simple hide.

. Day three on a road trip with Team BOP. Just popped down from Palmerston North for some TMGT and a few others Lots of fun with McJandals, Phillip Perry and Davidson clan visiting some great spots. Really enjoyed these caches and the history. Thanks to the COs for putting these out Found this one lying on ground not sure really where to put it May need checking TFTC
Day 3. Targeting TMGT today. With no mega this year, a plan was hatched with Team BOP to come to the lower Nth Island to get some numbers knocked off, so here we are and loving it!! I am logging using the Cachly app template so please excuse generic logging along the way. It’s just my way of keeping track, but I do genuinely thank each and every one of you cache owners for taking the time and energy to place these cache. Many Thanks for bringing me here. Cheers This was just lying on ground. Tucked back into a hole.
With this being an exposed location, I did not want to linger. I was grateful for a hint that was just helpful enough to enable me to quickly track down the cache's whereabouts.
3rd time coming back to this due to muggles so very happy to have found it. Nicely hidden cache. TFTC
Hmmm that bit of track seems a bit out of place, one way to get it out of the way I guess. I must say the nearby establishment looks much better from the street than it does from above, I still think I'll stick to my humble abode in the country though, with no neighbours within 500 metres. TFTC .
An excuse to eat morning tea whilst waiting for the muggles and their dogs to pass by. Whoo — where does one obtain caching supplies like that Funny see random tracks dotted around. Thanks tmann!
What a clever idea. Quickly spotted. First of my Carnival caches, Definitely gets another fav point. Thanks for the cache.
Day 2 of our New Years trip up to the North Island. Today we traveled from Upper Hutt through the winding Akatarawa Rd up to Palmerston North. This was a fun hide/placement. It was spotted immediately but left up to Mum it retrieve the log for signing as it was ANTcity. Yuck! Dropping a fav for the good camo. Thanks for the effort involved in placing and creating this cache for all of us to enjoy.
Excellent camou and expertly placed. Luckily we weren't derailed by this one. Tftc A favourite.
Team BOP have descended upon the Wellington region for the 2018 WENZ MEGA. We have a lot of caches to get through so there wasn’t a lot of down time but it was great to meet most of the locals, CO’s and fellow cachers. My online logs are largely cut’n’pasted because my memory has started to blur many of my finds together so apologies for that. We’ve signed logs as ‘TeamBOP’ or individually depending on log space and time. Lastly a big Thank You to the Team - TNXPro, Davidsonclan, McJandals, NZFlossy, FapandGap & Squirrel Nutcase and to all the CO’s that made this a memorable trip.
Excellent camo.
Excellent camo.

Found by Tara Ted and Blenheim Bear on the way back from a very successful NZ Mega 2018 in Lower Hutt. A great time was had by all. Thanks for the cache Blenheim Bear
I was in and around Waikanae this evening, and thought I'd take advantage of the opportunity to try for some caches away from home to get my numbers up towards the magic 1000 which I will be hoping will be the WENZ Mega event itself this coming Saturday.
This was my last cache for the evening, as the light was all but gone and my stomach was rumbling badly by the time I arrived at GZ. What an great little cache hide! I felt a bit conspicuous to the nearby housing whilst searching around for this one, but the great Hint made it a relatively quick find. I took a seat to do the standard caching administration before returning the cache exactly as found.
Thank you for placing all your caches. I believe you have become the CO I've found the most caches of lol!

Up to check out the rest home just back along the road for Dad, made a quick stop here for a relatively easy find. Very nicely done [^] hide. Thanks for the cache.
Great hide...walked past here many times while visiting nana. will have to come back with pen to sign log.
Girls found this before Dad was even out of the car but it is a very clever hide! TFTC.
Our 3 Geo kids had a great time jumping from sleeper to sleeper we used the hint to our advantage in the end. Excellent hiding spot, thank you.
Back up in this area today. Another quick find of a very clever hide. Fresh log sheet signed. TFTC
we loved this one, son found it using the hint, log book was soggy and ripped, but we managed to sign it, other son said this is his favourite one so far
A quick find in the dark -good coordinates thank you. Last cache for the Planetary challenge. Signed Team RE. TFTC
Nice quick find in the dark. The log is very damp and ripped while I was trying to sign it. Cool hiding spot. Thanks for the cache. Signed team RE
Early evening find. Had been here before so knew what to look for. Nicely hidden
Couldn't find anything where the hint made sense, I had an idea of what might be involved and saw some potential hiding spots but nothing there but could only guess and may have been wrong.
Was aware that I might have been seen acting suspiciously near the retirement home, especially as one window of a home looks out directly at GZ. Passing vehicles were also a problem.

Very clever hide. Enjoyed biking around this area on a lovely sunny afternoon in Waikanae. Tftcs
A quick grab of a few caches after completeing the Akatarawa traverse.

Gotcha. The clue was spot on. Introduced a friend from the UK to geocaching. Log is a bit wet. TFTC
Back for another go at this. After a bit more experience with tmann camos I found this instantly this time. Log is a tad damp because there was dirt in the O-ring seal which I cleaned before reassembly. Had to wait out muggles on the return. TFTC.
Felt a bit watched with houses around me but no troubles with muggles. Great wee container, thanks for this!
Very nice hide. Loads and loads of beetles here too. Seems to be the theme for my trip this time

A very clever hide in a lovely place. No people around because of the ghastly weather. The river stones make really effective judder bars. TFTC

Quick find early on a an Autumn Saturday morning some time ago - catching up on some logging.

eewww I did so well not screaming my head off when looking for this one, I think I did upset the local deadly killer spider, I did how ever run away with my mouth covered while my son dealt with the spider I would much rather a slaying but he re-homed a track further down. tftc
Quick find, a lot of luck really as I stumbled over it looking at something else. TFTC.
