Just two bays down so gave this a go took the hilly way should have gone a long the beach clever hide thanks G-2 TFTC
Nice sunny morning, out for a walk with JB - and of course, a cache or two . This took a bit of finding, but then I'm not very good with small items! TFTC G-2.
This was my second attempt at this cache - my first got rained out a while ago. A nice easy find this time, TFTC!
**20,881**Loved the subject matter of this cache, who wouldn't. The cache find however had us really going and we were starting to wonder if the CO had lost what was left of his marbles but then.... Mrs Geckoh for the win!! The hint item was covered in ivy so it took a bit of a feel around to locate the cleverly secreted cache. TFTC
Early for a birthday dinner so went for a wander and a little sit down. Thought to myself, there must be some caches round here. Lo and behold the app said I was very close to one, although not the obvious place. A quick glance around and I spotted the hint item and soon came up with the cache. Log wet but writable due to waterproof paper. SL TFTC
On a day mission caching with B4Dawn.
Wondered what the hint meant but all soon became clear and the cache was in hand.
Thanks for the cache.

Thanks for the cache.
On a caching mission this morning with Keylev. I had mentioned that I wanted to hit 100 caches this week. Managed to get up to 50 so today was going to be the big one!
Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for the cache!
I took a few minutes to stop and think, but then I decided to just go for it and quickly found the cache. Thanks for the cache
Thought I might be foiled on this one by the tradies at the house next door but they moved away for just long enough for me to sweep in and grab the cache. Sat on the bench to sign the log, then almost caught by a couple of walkers who decided to stand on the corner to admire the view.
Out today to visit Great Grandma and we decided to finish off the day by gathering a couple of caches before heading home.
This area brought back memories for Mr. Kiwi. He used to ride his bike up from the bottom of the hill sometime to the top here, but more often than not, along Beullah Ave and Garadice Rd, on his way to school.
Anyway, q quick enjoyment of the lovely view from here, and then the search was on. Zeroing in on GZ, it didn't take long for the cache to be found. To avoid suspicion by the muggles walking their dog, he returned to the car to sign the log. Once the coast was clear, he zipped back over to replace the cache and we were off again.

We had a dnf here 4 years ago when walking from Long Bay to Campbells Bay as the cache was missing. Today was the first time back in the area and a quick find was made this time so it was nice to turn the frown upside down
Heading home from the geocaching event at Longs Bay we detoured to find this cache. The last time we looked for this cache it was AWOL, but today we found the cache in the first place we looked. Glad to turn our frown upside down.
Last cache of the day and we headed back to the start this overland, non-coastal view way and down the steepish hill. This has been a lonely cache I see, over a year since last found, but stopped the loneliness today with a stroke of the pen and replaced as found. T F T C G-2
With the skies turning an unfamiliar blue colour, and a round yellow stranger appearing we headed out East for some Bay therapy and the Browns Bay to Rothesay Bay walkway return was the choice. A modest few finds but a nice easy walk with some up and down (elevation, not emotion)
Woop woop, it's the weekend and rain is forecast for the morning and a clearing afternoon too. So we did the shopping stuff in the morning then headed out Murray's Bay for the arvo delights.

While Mr Pazza went shopping I took off on the bike to pick up some gems. A nice spot to stop at on a sunny Sunday morning. tftc
Over here on the North Shore with my son, 2FLYTim, grabbing some caches today and making the most of the fine weather and not soggy ground. Our first find for our day. the hint made perfect sense to us . . . . . we were in Canada at the time of the twin towers attack and watched this on TV just after it happened. Very sad. TFTC.
Out caching today with Mum (SethRaven) this was our first find for the day. Mum saw where it was hiding as soon as we pulled up. TFTC
#593. Classiest hint ever! And I was nearing the end of my run by this point, so glad to have a seat nearby to sit down and sign the cache on.
I spent several minutes with a cute cat that came to visit while I was there.
Today I went for a run around the area where I'm staying and collected a bunch of caches. Big night - looked for 15 caches and found 13 of them! Not too bad going, I have to say!
Thanks to all the cache owners out there!

Quick find thanks to excellent hint on a walk after breakfast at the cosy Armadillo cafe, best cakes in this lovely area. The side street leads down to Murrays Bay where the locals were trying their fishing luck. Tftc!

Coming from the northern part of northland this part is compared to the upper one very busy... with caches
Had a good meal at the nearby Italian-Macedonian-Russian restaurant and went over to GZ where due to the really nice hint the cache es spotted quick quicker quickest quickly

Had to take a seat and wait for the correct moment to go in for the find. Was soon easily retrieved! All in good condition. TFTC -
I was going to look at the normal spot, but then spotted the item that fit the hint and went directly there. TFTC.
Out finding a cache before it got dark so we can tick off another December day. Liked the Hint. Thanks G-2.
After spending some time in long bay regional park it was time to collect a few more caches.loved the clue and the cache.bbq didnt smell too bad either.
Out bicycling again, and this cache was the "cache nearest to the turning point" this time. Also, when sitting logging at the bench a guy passes me carrying 4 takeaway coffees, indicating the waterhole in the opposite direction. Great!
The cache was easily found, thanks to the hint.

After ignoring the info and just focusing on the hint we found it 2nd time around. Great camo! Thanks
It is funny how things in life coincide sometimes. About a month ago I purchased this really old black and white movie called 'I was Monty's Double' and only watched it late one night about two weeks ago. And then when I was away down country last weekend we watched the very last Goon Show on DVD. So today when I was in the area, and saw this one, I couldn't resist. Once I pulled up at GZ, it took me a moment to think about the hint... very clever by the way... and I soon had the cache in hand. After finding a spot to sit nearby to sign the log, I soon had the cache back in its spot and I was on my way. Thanks G--2 for setting this one up. Nice!
We parked up near gz and said to the kids "go and grab it, it'll be hidden there". We thought they'd be back in 5 secs with the cache. Well they were back in 5 secs but without it. We jumped out thinking they were blind. Well, still no cache. We read the hint, looked around, then we clicked. Tried the new gz and viola we had a cache. A simple, clever hide but our preconceived ideas led us astray. TFTC
Appropriate hint! Saw it as I walked up to it and thought that was quite clever. This intersection was really busy today! Had to look every which way with cars and muggles hooning along.
Loved the goons, still do!

Good little hide. Got a REALLY good coffee & service too from a nearby cafe -Armadillo before dropping a trackable off in this cache then heading back to continue on Te Araroa walkway. TCTC
Nice to see the towers again. Quick PNG. Log signed b&p. Find number 4098.
Thanks for the cache G-2.
Thanks for the cache G-2.
Out doing a bit of cache clean up around the area, and was pleasantly surprised when I saw this one is just back. I've been here before with no luck, so thanks G2 for another smile today.
We had 4 pairs of eyes looking here but couldn't find anything. Going from the hint we were pretty sure we were looking in the right place
This cache was a quick park and grab after enjoying some time at the near bay.

I was in the area today with a couple of hours to spare so decided to go for a bit of a walkabout and find a few caches. Nice one. Loved the detail in the cache listing. A quick find here for my last cache for today. Time to head back to my car and then to head off 'home'. TFTC, Biggles.
Kiwiscot doing Waterwise with her school class at nearby Murrays Bay so we took the opportunity to collect this easy park n grab beforehand to continue our daily streak. TFTC
Out and about collecting some cache finds late this afternoon before home time. Parked up next to GZ and soon spotted the hint item. A quick check didn't yield the cache. Closer inspection did the trick and the formalities were soon completed. Never did solve the original puzzle. Cheers for the traditional cache placement!
Collecting a few caches while in the area with tmann421.
A nice quick find. Good hint! TFTC

A familiar location on approach we realised we'd been here before. In fact our first 'police encounter' here. Easily spotted the hint and cache was soon in hand, tftc
I was close to this one and heading back out west when I had to stop and grab this one. Took me a minute to work out what the hint was referencing, but was a quick find once inspiration hit.
Nice cameo fit very well into the area. TFTC

My other half and I decided to go for a walk while waiting for the nearby British pub to open on this lovely ANZAC day, of course no walk in a new area is complete without grabbing a cache or two. This one was easily found, but well hidden. A good start for the day and an interesting read. TFTC #396
With an impending category 3 cyclone Pam about to hit Auckland what would any normal dedicated cacher do?
Of course out we went. Well we had to be out to drop Miss NZTravellers off at the sane side of the family so thought why not do a few to increase the numbers. It wasn't as if it was a category 5 cyclone after all!!!!
Initially had us going in the driving rain but eventually the clue made sense and we had the cache in hand. Took it back to the shelter of the car to sign the log.

Very clever. Looked at it a couple of times before the penny dropped.

Found the twin items no trouble ...but not the cache ...Ric's young granddaughter looked and "bingo" ...she found it !!!! Thanks ...
As soon as I grabbed this one, the muggles all showed up. Once signed and using my cunning "fat guy dying of exhaustion" cover, I managed to cop a break and return it. A nice easy find with some nice views! TFTC!
There was an elderly muggle of the male orientation that just took his time to pass by. I know it was a nice day but....
Cheers for the cache.

Great to ponder between mugglers. Very busy today, even through a long weekend. Enjoyed the camo. TFTC
Wahoo.. Not only awesome camo and a clever clue but we actually had the tool to be able to write in the log! Tftc
Loved the hint, made us laugh! Camo blends in nicely, many thanks for Monty’s Treble.
I had done the mystery there before so I went straight to where I found the original without my phone or the clue and sure enough it wasn't there... Got back to the car and look at the clue, back to GZ and there it was . Lesson for me: "read the clue before rushing" TFTC
Only a half day of work today as needing to collect a few caches (as was already in Auckland this seemed the sensible way to head for home) to add to my total for a caching week challenge. Another very enjoyable time driving picking up a few caches in areas that I was not aware of.
Thanks for the placement
Thanks for the placement
Ryan spotted the hint and he did the formalities while Mum turned the car around. Last cache of the day and think they were just about all by Glyn. TFTC
Was glad the skies cleared a little to pop out at lunchtime to nab this one. Gosh this seemed a busy intersection today, as I loitered around the car waiting for the coast to be clear to grab it and then try it get it back again. Nice wee cache. Glad to find it so quickly today. SL. TFTC.
Fun cache. Cool description, nifty camo. My young Cache King nabbed this one & was delighted with the camo. He rustled around till he found something to pop in the cache. Managed it too. One happy cacher!
Crazy wild wet windy weather to go out in tonight to find a cache, but we wanted to keep our caching streak going, so . . .
Arrived at GZ, and had to exit the car one at a time because of the howling gale. As we approached the corner we spotted where the hide would be (as per the hint) and grabbed the cache to open and sign in the shelter of the car. Third to sign the log, exactly the same as this cache's predecessor. Thanks Glyn.

A joint (FTF) with alpenmilch80 after visiting the nearly published caches out at the airport. This was still unlogged so we thought we'd try our luck at it. GZ was familiar as I remember finding the puzzle incarnation of this cache. It looks like there's now a new seat in place? Anyway the hide location wasn't the same as previously which threw me a bit, but alpenmilch80 ably interpreted the hint to uncover the find. Thanks!

FTF with slieschke.
Watched the cache for a while after it got published and decided to give it a go after collecting some FTF's at the Airport. We were positively surprised when the log was still empty. Guess this geocache couldn’t fool the German . TFTC
