Cache is unable to be logged due to previous cacher not doing the screw lid up properly and have jammed it shut
Found it but couldn't open it because someone put it on wrong and the kids now stuck
Found this, unfortunately was unable to log due to a pervious cachet destroying the cache . TFTC
Well Old Stumpy, you have been taunting me for to long as a single green spot in a sea of yellow smilie's. Needing a good long walk today, I finally have you logged as a find. A nod to a workmate from years ago who was one of those rare blokes who could take a good "ribbing" as well as dish one out. He is a namesake to this cache, never being at risk of altitude sickness. Thanks for the good-natured rubbishing sessions Stumpy! (and yes, I still have those big ears!)
Lovely arvo walk with friends, thanks Melz-777 for fixing cache so we could open and log.
Found, although couldn't open. Luckily we had to multi-tool leathermans in the car, so we've got it unstuck, signed log and now other geocachers can open it. Tftc
Found. But couldn't open cache. Think it has rusted shut. Photo attached.

Cache find #6
Our 5th geocache find today! We have taken a photo because we couldn't open the cache, even after countless tries and fails and this photo is proof that we found the cache.

Definitely still there someone just burried it so we have made it a bit easier by uncovering it mostly now
Unfortunately, if this one wasn't missing before the recent floods, it most certainly is now, as there is significant evidence that the water was above old stumpy. There is a closed sign at the entrance to the path, but it is still usable to a certain extent. A bit challenging in places though with a lot of the boardwalk ripped up and contorted with the power of the water, and a lot of debris blocking the path. Definitely worth replacing once the area settles down again.
Sorry Ghosthoowalks
Sorry Ghosthoowalks
Came here today and didn't check the log. Quite a few dnf's. Needs owner check.
Was looking for this one with the snakepiters but no luck with the 3 of us looking. I think it is gone
Found it on my morning bike ride. Log sheet is full up and needs replacing. TFTC.
Travelling around Australia and now in Tasmania!
Headed out from Loira to find some more caches on the Eastern side of the Tamar river and into Launceston.
Beautiful in the sun but when it ducked behind the clouds a bit cool.
Found your cache to help us with our exploration of the area. [^]

Cached in Launceston with Grandaughter Holly, in the rain. No 11 of 17 for the day. Qucik easy find
Quick find on a chilly winters night. Bit of mist around the track and plenty of spooky noises. Arrived at a very high tide blocking the track, thankfully the GZ and cache were right at the waters edge so I was able to retrieve it without getting wet feet.

On a very windy day we found it quickly and pushed on into the wind! TFTC
Think this is the third time we have cached along this trail. We came from the southern end today which was probably the longest way to get to it but we needed the exercise. Didn't meet a single muggle there or back which was unusual. A quick find was made at GZ of a very exposed cache. Covered with a leaf to try and stop it being found by a muggle. Thanks.
What to do on a quiet new years day??? Cross some caches off the list!!! Jumped on the pushie and went for a long overdue ride. Found this little cache along the way. Another one down. TFTC
A blank day on our caching calendar, lovely weather & caches within cooee of Tardis' current GZ. When you combine all three the call cannot be ignored. So this was our "just the one for the day" today. We've lost count of the number of times we've followed the GPS arrow along this track. It could almost be renamed Cacher's Walk, but always nice to come back for another. Thanks Ghosthoowalks. All good at GZ.
My, the river is high, brown and dirty today - the geocache is not !
Thanks for the cache, Ghosthoowalks !

Couldn't sign log pen wouldn't work. Took bad photo instead. Found with the kids.
TFTC at wrong place to start with but quickly discovered my error and found right stump. White warrior
Today we found some caches that have been published while we have been away.

Oh dear we completely walked past this one by 50m before the gps kicked in -what the? Ah we'll a bit more exercise and the kids were having fun. Once we got to GZ it was a quick find for us. The kids loved the "cotton candy" and kept picking it and letting blow away in the wind. SL TFTC Ghosthoowalks.
I couldn't retrieve the cache and was about to get the tweezers when geohubby managed to extract it(must have longer fingers). It was a bit of a tricky spot as muggle cyclists can come upon you very quickly (so I fiddled with my bike chain whilst I signed the log). TFTC!
This was part of our 16km bike ride today, but I was wearing my good shoes, so decided not to get them muddy!
Found on a short visit to Lonnie. It's nice to have a new area to check out. I really enjoyed this walk by the waterway. Time to turnaround now...
The tree stump was easy to find, but the cache was hard to get out of the stump. Had to get geokid to get it out, would recommend you bring tweezers if you don't have a pair of little hands!

Hi Ghosthoowalks
The early morning walk to the stump was exhilarating and a bit chilly.
The sun rise was very pretty and captivating.
Found the cache in the first place I peeked and smiled.
Sainted and re-hid the cache at 0758hrs.
TFTC and cheers

Lovely winter's day...mmmmmm...what to do, go geocaching. Bit muddy along track, what is a bit of mud. TFTC
Took geo dog for a stroll from the opposite end of our usual walk area and found it very quickly thanks to clear skies, accurate coords and great hints. My fat little fingers had a bit of trouble extracting the cache container but the long nosed pliers came in handy. wandered along the track a bit to write in the log as there were a few others out and about. TFTC
Today we headed to Hobart for an early morning appointment tomorrow. We took a deviation into Launceston to look for this and two other caches. It was a bracing walk around the river this morning but it didn't take too long to get to GZ. Once there were were able to make a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks for the cache Ghostwhowalks.
Woohoo! FTF!
Geo-housemate reckons he saw a possible cache guardian here, so take care.
My Dunlop Volleys don't go too well in mud, it seems!
Had to help a muggle jumpstart his car on my way out of the parking area at the end of the track.
FTF and good deed for the day, feeling good!
Such a beautiful walk. First of three for the afternoon with geo-housemate.
