We walked from the campground to search for this one. We found the cave under the rock which we had a good search of then looked all around until I spotted a hidden cave that looked very promising but I could not locate the cache. As we were leaving the site we saw rocks layed out saying monster valley beware.A good explore, putty it didn't include a cache find
DNF crawled in from the bottom, top and side, searched with a torch, but it seems to have gone walkabout. Magic little cave though, so I would have been very happy if Id found the cache.
Having heard of the COs other caches and given the name we just had to do this one. Found the track in and up through the area that needs a CITO and on to the monster rock that looks like a giant lizard. Took the harder route but the easier one back. At GZ had some good crawls through the caves and can confirm the cache is not in good shape so can the next finder bring a replacement. Out of one cave and looked across to see the big stone massage and laughed. I made it out alive. TFTC
Walked in from our campsite taking a beeline in, skirting a nearby rock before crossing onto the road in. Found the parking area and headed in to find GZ. Split up with one of us taking the high path and the other following the valley, both arriving at GZ simultaneously. Saw cache before we figured out how best to retrieve it. Signed and headed back out, taking an easier route back sticking mostly to the track before heading across country once again to our campsite. On the way stumbled onto an old dump site. Sure were a lot of cans & bottles! Thanks for bringing us to this magic spot.
Tempus_Fugit we both loved the walk out here and checking out cans bottles and other discarded stuff along the way. Once here it was a beaut walk up to GZ where Spot was put to good use to uncover this great hide. Agreed; a super Spot indeed. Thanks for setting up this ripper of a hide in a ripper of a spot; brilliant weathering indeed.
This was tricky! Breathe in! Glad to have Barnzy for this one.
Out for a wheatbelt road trip after the COVID travel restrictions have been lifted. With WAGB20 being cancelled in the pandemic, an invite to join others to celebrate the long weekend was perfect.
First night was camping at Elachbutting Rock with Barnzy12 and Cravo10 where we hit some great finds, beautiful locations and had fun on the dirt tracks weaving our way whilst caching out to Kwolyin Rock for the second night where we met up with a nice crew of fellow geocachers to enjoy sitting around a large campfire sharing stories. I have lost count of the rocks Ive climbed - but my body says many
I then head off on my own caching along the way to Northam where I spent a couple more days hunting through beautiful Toodyay and York and surrounds.
A huge thank you to all the COs for placing and maintaining their caches. The places I have seen and the fun I have had are testament to why I love this game so much. Its been a big 5 days and I am pooped but I have loved every minute!

Thanks Tempus_Fugit for placing and maintaining this cache. Out and about with Barnzy12 getting a few smily faces.
Great spot. Add FP.
Had a great couple of days away travelling the Wheatbelt. We got as far north as Beacon, as Far East as Elachbutting Rock and as far south as Kwolyin.
We spent the first night af Elachbutting Rock with Geotrakka and the second night with around ten teams at Kwolyin.
We metup with Richlink to attempt some high terrain caches near Mukinbudin, where multiple people was a nescessity for safety purposes.
We enjoyed travelling the backroads, camping under the stars and seeing amazing sights without all the people.
Great weekend away and have uploaded a bunch of pictures with the logs.
Thanks to the COs far and wide for their caches and a great weekend.

Touring the area with richlink, and expetiencing all the area has to offer. Thanks for your cache, which added to the fun we had today.
Fantastic day to explore the Elachbutting Reserve with iluvtrekking. Thanks to the excellent directions, we had no problem traversing the tracks to gz. Now that was a very clever and sneaky hide. Stopped to celebrate our find with a cuppa. Thanks Tempus_Fugit
What a great spot, fave point for the views and the cache.
After camping at the very peaceful Mukinbudin Caravan Park last night we headed off on day 2 of our Wheatbelt Tour.
This weekend has been some time in the planning and we were heading up this way to drive the Wheatbelt Way Trail and collect geocaches along the route. We also had GCA caches, Waymarks and Sighters on the radar which should break up the trip nicely. We had no set plans for accommodation and we decided that we would see where we ended up each day to set up camp. This cache was one that we targeted on our mini adventure. Cheers and TFTC.
G’day there Tempus_Fugit, I was in this area today and found your cache Monster Valley GC56H8A. I added my name to the log book at 10:53 am on 29 September 2019. A huge thanks to you for placing this cache here for us (and others) to find!
This cache find brings our total find count to 10992. Woohoo!!

Leaving WA we still need a few more LGA so Mukinbudin was on the must visit list.
A rejig of our plans saw us staying for 2 nights here instead of Westonia. Nice little caravan park which we were happy to stay at on unpowered site and use the Fabulous camp kitchen.

Almost missed this one. We were having lunch at Beringbooding Rock after getting the caches there and I noticed this one not far away so when we finished we set off for this one. Managed to get our campervan up the tracks without toom many issues and parked under an interesting rock structure.
We began to the walk to GZ and I think we may have gone the wrong way but we got there eventually.
I was walking around for a few minutes checking out all the little hidey holes and after coming up empty decided to read the hint.
Luckily I am only a skinny fellow so it wasn't to difficult to get to the cache.
Great spot, also noticed the sign on the other side of the valley

Day 2 of our Wheatbelt trip and another 425km bringing the total to 1050. 18 caches found today. A great day with some great locations.
This trip out had been a long time in the planning.
Krabiboy and I had hatched a plan and probably changed it about 10 times. dallyho joined us, final plans were set, and off we went
Krabiboy had a slip here but had spotted the cache which Dalyho retrieved.
Tempus_Fugit - Kyzabra found your cache Monster Valley . The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for placing this and bringing us to this spot!

Our Wheatbelt trip started again this morning in Bencubbin after heading from Perth yesterday. We headed north to Beacon and then east to Bonnie Rock and Mukinbudin.
What a great spot for a cache. Kyzabra was a little hesitant when we saw the track but we pushed on with some gentle coercion. We parked at the recommended waypoint and then headed up. I managed to slip right bear GZ but no harm done, and Dallyho made the find.

Great location for a cache. Well worth the trip out this way. Finding the actual cache was good fun, krabiboy unknowingly was right next to it until he slid on his ass straight past it. Was soon sighted pretty easily and we were back on our trek. Tftc
Best cache so far, gave it a lot of new items, great place to visit. All loved it. Will recommend to friends. TFTC
Found Easter Sunday. This rOck was part of our backyard growing up as kids. Always a swag of memories. TFTC
TFTC GREAT HIDE
BOUGHT BACK LOTS OF MEMORIES ROAMING OVER THIS ROCK AND CAVES AND TUNNELS AS KIDS

As I was out here again, I thought I would check on its status. I am happy to confirm all is well. Very surprised that there have been only two other visitors since my FTF a year ago. Thanks again TF
Found cache whilst travelling the Wheatbelt Way. TFTC Tempus Fugit - this was our favourite cache of a 2-week roadtrip. Took a walk from Beringbooding Rock where we were camped to find your cache. Lovely walk and lovely rocky area to explore. Took us a while to find but got there in the end - absolutely brilliant hiding place - well done.
We were out at Eagle Rock with friends celebrating Mrs Swaggies 50th birthday and decided to make her day by letting her do a geocache. This one was amazing in such a beautiful spot, we had great fun looking around here and found the cache as well. Someone spent alot of time on the 'sign'!
Shame about the farmers rubbish tip on the way in, but loved it anyway!!
A favourite point from us for the cache, location and celebration! Thanks Tempus Fugit!

Yeah. Another first find. Took me a bit. I found an awesome example of the additional hint, but it was not to be. As it had not been found prior, I put in a bit more effort and was rewarded.
