Didnt attempt for long given what the activity says. Will come back another time if someone can confirm its still there
Lovely trails and great caching locations all along the route. I did not search aggressively for this and am sure it’s there. The pooch was keen to continue so I did. Last day in New Zealand before a very long flight home. What a great country.
On a caching mission this morning with Keylev. I had mentioned that I wanted to hit 100 caches this week. Managed to get up to 50 so today was going to be the big one!
Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for the cache!
Unfortunately we couldn't find this one. The light was fading fast though and the mosquito's were out in full force so we gave up sooner than we would normally have. Will come back to complete this one and the other we DNF along this path. Thanks G-2 - stunning spot!
We'll G-2 for the second time today I found my self in a compromising position in the mud retrieving one of your caches. I ended up entwined in a vine and there were no grapes in sight.
Did not find - only stopped because we were on the way home but were in a hurry! Will return!

Found after widening my initial search area. Not walk this path before so glad for the opportunity. TFTC
Great place to stop before going to to some bombs off the wharf! Thanks for the hide
After grabbing the previous cache, with this one not too far away we decided to head up to this one too. At GZ the GPS didn't want to settle down, so we stopped and took a moment to think about the best places to hide a cache. It was hidden in the second place we looked. Such a lovely day for a walk, and plenty of time between between the muggles to make the grab. Thanks for the cache and little something to do on Christmas Day. Thanks for the cache. #1154
Out with NZ Travellers, NewlynFam and laval for a walk from Long Bay to Devonport (although we only made it to Takapuna as we ran out of time with all the stopping along the way ).
Looked in all the wrong places before I had an aha moment and went a bit deeper in and there it was!
Thanks for the cache.

In training for the Tongario Crossing and we deiced along with Keylev, Laval and NewlynFam we would walk the Long Bay to Takapuna coastal walk as practice and of course get some caches on the way.
Took a second look but we go there in the end.

Glanced at G Z when on the way past initially and spotted the probable hiding place and followed up with a find on the return leg. T F T C G-2
With the skies turning an unfamiliar blue colour, and a round yellow stranger appearing we headed out East for some Bay therapy and the Browns Bay to Rothesay Bay walkway return was the choice. A modest few finds but a nice easy walk with some up and down (elevation, not emotion)
Woop woop, it's the weekend and rain is forecast for the morning and a clearing afternoon too. So we did the shopping stuff in the morning then headed out Murray's Bay for the arvo delights.

Similar story. Last find ... one year ago ... almost. Spotted hide in plain sight after few moments. Safe and all good here too. T4TC
Another find along a beautiful walk today. Quite a good little hiding spot although log needs replacing as is a bit damp and mildew-smelling. TFTC
Nice stroll on the cliff edge. Met Franck at the cache who was also looking for it. TFTC
Searched for this one for a bit before finding the PERFECT hiddy hole. However there was no cache to be seen, suspect this one is gone or I was way off ?
Walk down and see the water - such a lovely day! GPS on phone a bit mental but tried to think of good place to hide around the area - found it! TFTC
Found while dogwalking round the cliffs. Unplanned, so had no pen to sign the log. Will try to upload photo of it. TFTC
Wow what a great spot, definitely worth walking right down to the water here. TFTC
TFTC found with MAKESHlFT on a stroll to get my 500th #499. Nice spot further down to the sea also
Out in the sunshine today making sure we find a cache each day in November. Can't believe that up till this year we had never cached in November! Great hint. Thanks G-2.
Our final walk for today collecting the caches as we go.we struggled to reach it but once we did soon got the log signed.
The hint fit the cryptic crossword category, so it gave me the answer without too much thought. TFTC
Realised what the hint meant when approaching GZ. Nice quick find after that.TFTC
We joined this lovely walkway again from Churchill Rd. We soon spotted a potential hiding spot and my buddy found the cache easily. While we were standing around at gz signing the log several muggles went by and we were completely unnoticed. Just as I made a note of that a muggle spotted us - doh! Thanks for another cache
Quick find while having a lazy fish off the ledge below. Bit wet but signable. TFTC
Out and about doing the tourist thing while waiting for the runner's last event. Good find, log but damp, but signable. Running (no pun intended) out of time, so must head back to the track. Pity, this looks like a fun set of caches. Maybe next time...
GPS didn't help but the clue did. Thanks for bringing me to this walkway with fantastic scenery
Good to add another smiley on this trail. Cache was quickly retrieved then I went a little further down the track & looked down to the beach below. Lovely wee spot. TFTC
I decided to go for a walk along the coastal walkway to explore an area I had never been before. The added bonus was that this meant that I could collect some geocaches as well. This one took a bit longer than expected to find as unfortunately the GPSr was jumping around. It wasn't until I reread the hint that the obvious location was spotted and the cache retrieved. TFTC!
We were in the area for the hospice fundraiser and decided to use the opportunity to nab some caches
Needed to get the steps up on fitbit and Son's dog was visiting and also needed a walk. Picked a spot that meant going passed 2 caches. Dog was no help in finding the cache, just kept getting in the way. TFTC
Good to see we all had our sense of humour and up for the puns. As noted by merlot58, we were so grateful it was a great cache in a great place.
Out doing a walk from Long Bay to Campbell's Bay with Merlot58 and Jag50 getting caches along the way. We were all very grateful to find this cache, down the muddy path.

The GPSr wanted to keep us closer to the walkway than the cache was but we were **prescient** enough to extend our search, and find the cache eventually.
Thanks for the cache!

Our last day on the north shore before heading south again so just a bit of time to go and find a few more caches this afternoon. Next one on the walk way, third found in this direction. Dare I say it - a 'good' place for the cache. TFTC, Biggles.
Returning to car after our dog walk. Less muggles around this time so could carry out a proper search. Clarksonz mutt nearly lost his ball over the cliff.
This will be our turn around point, for the slow walk back to the car!
Just as we got to GZ rebel98 phone rang, so off I went following the GPS, and spotting a bit of a geo trail to the hidden cache. The trees have grown and obscured some of the views, and I like to know how far this cafe is, cause I could do with a cool drink right now
Thanks for the hide, and bringing us on this lovely coastal track!

Out and about after work today for a spot of cache detection before home. I walked up the trail from Murrays Bay beach. Arrived at GZ and soon spotted something of interest and completed the formalities on this one. Never did solve the original puzzle. Cheers for the cache placement!
Collecting a few caches while in the area with tmann421.
A nice quick find in a lovely area. TFTC

My GPS was putting me out to sea, when I was clearly on the right track, so I persevered and was rewarded by the cache. Nice hide.TFTC
On a walk around Murray bay this was the cache I found having no luck with the first two Hope to be back for another later TFTC
A couple of quick afternoon caches to keep our daily streak running. Clear skies today so great views to be had. The wind was a bit nippy though. TFTC
Note: Due to sleep deprivation Kiwi may have written yesterdays date on the cache log.

I met a muggle and their child who was interested in learning about geocaching, they had contacted me a little while ago, but it has taken me a while to get us in the same place at the same time. I chose these as there were a couple in a row that had recent finds and were a decent size. Thanks to everyone for placing them, they were perfect.
Our last one this morning, it took a little bit of finding but that is part of the fun right. TFTC

Nice and quick find here thanks , fun to have family members with us today.... Almost too hot to be caching along the cliff tops ...
Nicely hidden. Log was a little damp so left a moisture absorber behind. And a frog . TFTC.
Classic cache spot so quick, easy find which was lucky as the mozzies were ravenous.

The pattern of the day continued. I had just grabbed the cache, found a nice quiet spot away from the path and started to sign the log when a Korean lady and her dog spotted me. Seeing me, she decided there must me something to see and went off to explore. I figured I had a chance to return the cache to the hide when she came back! In the end, I got it all in place and was out of the area. TFTC and a great spot. It was an easy find to end on!
I remember coming here before when it was a puzzle. Had to be very quiet while signing the log due to large number of muggles walking past. Always nice to walk this walkway.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
The day turned out so nice, that we thought a nice evening stroll by the sea was in order. Just lovely out here this evening. Another 'nice' spot on the trail, no muggle activity whilst we did this one. SL. TFTC.
Carried along from all at sea 3 and this was a nice straight forward find. TFTC
Although I solved and found the original, it was before it was moved to this location so this was a new spot for me. Didn't realise you could get down to the beach from this path either.

Recall solving the puzzle version of All at Sea a few years back, it all made sense to locate the Traditional one as well, many thanks for the memories.
Having failed to find a cache before dinner, one of us had to head out again late tonight to look for another. We had done the puzzle version of All At Sea some time ago, and GZ did seem somewhat familiar. But it still took a call from home to remind him of exactly where the cache would be found. Thanks.
