Having a tour around and spotted this one which sounded interesting so headed over and wondered how difficult the T would be solo. Found the turn off and park at the old dam and followed the rock up before spotting the target in the distance. Nice views and colours. Interesting to see how the water collection worked. Checked out the paintings and cave before looking the task at hand. Looked the climb and was soon at the top. More great views and then spotted the caches, signed and descended. Looked at the COs other hides and decided to check out the COs other hides. TFTCA fav pt

GZ was about 10m south of boulder. Searched high and low - even climbed the boulder (harder getting down than it was climbing up). Great cave but alas no cache for me. Everyone says its now a cashless society.

Wow!! What an amazing spot! Kids were a bit dubious at first... "It's just another big rock mum!" But climbing and exploring, and seeing the changing faces/scenery on and around the rock was great. Let alone the challenge of actually getting to the cache itself! Mr 10yr old who loves climbing was in his element finding it first! Much to the annoyance of his siblings! Cache was rather damp inside. TFTC.

Climbed & scrambled more than 500m, then couldn’t find. Disappointed.

Spending the long weekend in Mukinbudin with the outlaws family, headed out to check out the local scenery and score some caches on the way.
Spent half an hour searching and a long trek in and out. I will keep my eye on it
Thanks for the hide

The best cache I never found. Interesting place. Nice climb in 42degrees. Saw a couple of big reds. Great views. Looked through the rocks and found nothing. Read the activity logs and the hint now made sense. Being a bit long in the tooth I really needed a boost to get up the middle part. Alas no one else was there
so the cache remains unsigned. Great cave also.

The area north of Westonia has been on our bucket list for some time with many great places to explore. This cache brought us to one of those awesome places with a challenge added. As you climb the hill past the old dam the feature you are heading for is obvious. Once I found a way to the top I enjoyed wonderful views. But I wasn’t there for that alone. Finding and signing the log was the priority. Thanks Tempus Fugit for this awesome cache.

I have had this in my bucket list since I found out about it during a camp out at Elachbutting last winter - however being ‘less able bodied’ I sat around the camp fire listening to exciting stories of how people had attempted and conquered this De- eraning cache. This became my mission. After seeing Sharkcaver had placed a PT in the cache this was the icing on top that pushed me to speak to a muggle girlfriend of mine who after a few questions agreed to support my search and come along for the adventure. The hike up to GZ was hard enough for me having to stop along the way a few times. It was a hot day so we went prepared with water and an assortment of TOTT ready for just about anything. Boy what a visual treat we were in for. Without giving anything away - every direction was eye candy - and that was without getting to GZ which was another whole level! I could never have done this on my own. This is not for the faint hearted. It was a team effort although my muggle friend is my hero today and I am so very happy to tick this one off my bucket list and grab the precious PT. We had planned to do more but this one flattened my battery! Thanks so much for putting this together Tempus_Fugit. A fav point for the epic hide. I am absolutely exhausted and feel like I could sleep for a week but I cant wipe the smile off my face! Goooo girl power!

Think we'd be a touch too adventurous having a go at this baby. Hey; it was certainly worth the stroll here and that's 20% of the fun. Thanks for setting it up and bringing us here. Kudos

Had a look around the base. I'm not climbing that . Great hike.

Take 2. This time I had some help with me and came away successful. Not for the feint hearted this one. left a pathtag for the next finder because it's so 'epic" in a typical Tempus_Fugit kinda way. Also left a pathtag somewhere at the base as I dropped it and could not locate. A bonus for the next searcher. TFTC.

Great adventure. Bring help or you could end up in serious trouble. Great to meet up with Richlink to get these.

Had a great couple of days away travelling the Wheatbelt. We got as far north as Beacon, as Far East as Elachbutting Rock and as far south as Kwolyin.

We spent the first night af Elachbutting Rock with Geotrakka and the second night with around ten teams at Kwolyin.

We metup with Richlink to attempt some high terrain caches near Mukinbudin, where multiple people was a nescessity for safety purposes.

We enjoyed travelling the backroads, camping under the stars and seeing amazing sights without all the people.

Great weekend away and have uploaded a bunch of pictures with the logs.

Thanks to the COs far and wide for their caches and a great weekend.

We scouted the area yesterday but decided it needed a couple of people to get to gz. We contacted Barnzy12 who we knew was going to be in the area today and arranged to meet up with him and Cravo10 to mount the assault together. It eventuated that it took 3 people to gain access to the relevant spot. Mr richlink and C10 boosted B12 to the top of the feature and it was then up to him to 'act like santa' to retrieve the container and record our visits. Not a cache to be attempted alone unless you are a very capable rock climber. Thrilled to have the find and to have done it with B12 and C10. Thanks Tempus-Fugit

Well thats disappointing. Must have spent 2 hours on this one. gz certainly isnt where my gps says it is and reading prior logs i think i know why. Now, im no wuss, but the risk of personal injury to me was greater than signing this log. Whilst i enjoy a challenge, i dont understand why this one was made so difficult. Maybe i have actual gz incorrect, but i doubt it and im not climbing that to find out.

Wasn't going to do this one but we finished early for the day so decided to give it a go. So glad we did. What a great location and what a great challenge.

What a huge team effort here. Boosts, lifts and heaps of encouragement.

A great spot and the art is well worth a look.

Definitely not a cache to attempt in your own. It took three of us working together to get up

Tempus_Fugit - Kyzabra found your cache De-eraning . The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for placing this and bringing us to this spot!

Our Wheatbelt trip started again this morning in Bencubbin after heading from Perth yesterday. We headed north to Beacon and then east to Bonnie Rock and Mukinbudin.

We didn't realise how much of an effort would be required for this one, but headed from the car past the dam. As we arrived closer to GZ, we started to realise that yes, we would need to climb. Lucky we had 3 of us, as we needed a few pairs of hands. I was the one to complete the signing duties as being a little taller made me the perfect candidate. A definite favourite point from me. Absolutely fantastic.

TFTC Tempus_Fugit.

Tempus_Fugit, I found your cache De-eraning on 6/08/2016.
This is my find #2932 and find #14 today.

Wow! Lucky we had a team of three of us for that one. Finding the rock was one thing, getting to the cache was another. After strategic planning we were well happy to have signed the log. Would have to class that as my most adventurous cache. Well done Kyzabra & Krabiboy. Worth a Fav Point even for the memory alone.Tftc Tempus_Fugit
