I've been waiting for workmen in the area to move on but looks like they may be there a while, so will archive this one.
Checked on this today and definitely AWOL. Will replace shortly. Disabling in the meantime.
Out and about this evening to grab a small number of caches in and around Plimmerton and Camborne.Sadly this was my only DNF. Definitely in the right location, and a regular shouldn't be hard to spot. I hate to cast aspersions, but I'm always suspicious when the previous finder is a newbie. I hope they didn't take it, but either way it's not where it's supposed to be.
Really fun one! Unfortunately forgot a pen so wi def have to come back to this one
Realised we hadn’t done any caching this month, so off we trotted for a couple of hours.
Nice walkway and bush, cache found safely tucked away.
Thanks!

Thanks!
Mum is helping me log all my caches that I haven't logged yet.Found with Mum (LL113) and Dad (GNARwhal).
*Catching up on some logging*Found with GeoHubby (GNARwhal) and Miss 10 (UnicornLex). Lex was stoked to make the find here, and just had the cache returned when some muggles came round the corner coming up the walkway. Thanks for the cache.
Another Sunday, another impromptu Cache mission with LL113 and UnicornLex whilst in the area to install an AXS drive train on a friend's bicycle
Had to send a SOS call back to the car for Mr Muggle to come help here. He saw where I’d gone wrong and we spotted it soon after. TFTC
Accidentally found this cache while looking for another local multi cache. TFTC
A bit of backtracking from the previous find to get this one. All good but didn’t linger to save the skin from the marauding bitey insects. TFTC
Bit of an impromptu excursion up, over, and around the hill here. I just found the nearby multi coming back down the trail, so was coming up from the wrong direction, but great hint and my caching mojo is on fire today, first place I looked under, TFTC
Entered the reserve from the other end, worked our way along the trails, zeroing in on GZ. Once correct seat identified, cache an easy find. Picked up TB. All good in container. Tftc!
Staying in Whitby for the weekend collecting the Kiwi trail plus a few others caches. Got confused counting steps so went for the hint item and found it. Thanks for the smiley.
Ventured off our planned path for the Angel steps to find this one.
Because I cant count or follow hints it took me to the wrong spot, so i just lay on the wooden path and had a break while Kimmy&co found the cache and Hayley laughed at my chosen spot for a nap

Nice spot for a cache. I had redouble the count of the steps to confirm where I should leap over the handrail, but once done, the cache was in hand. TFTC.
I think I am sitting in heaven. So many bird calls! Great hint. All nice and dry here. TFTC
Our first visit to this suburb and its scenic views. Soon found thanks to the helpful hints. Thanks Just-Lookin.
Needed a cache today to deal to a dot day. This was it. Walked up from the direction of Penryn Drive. Found it with little difficulty, thanks to a useful hint. #3236. TFTC.
A new walkway I've never been to before. Out with MightyMicra and his new Garmin - he found it first. TFTC.
Found it with some counting! Our first geocache find on our return trip to NZ. Our children now four years older! (No pen)
With rebel98 on a mini caching adventure to Wellington
We parked at the top, and counted our way down. Once we got to the cache had a lot of difficulty removing it, as it was standing up. With all the rain the wood has expanded. So with a bit of wiggling, eventually had it released, and the log was being signed.
Lovely hide, the water is running, and the tui are singing. Thanks for the cache hide

Located after a brisk walk through the reserve. Never been here before and it is stunning. Tftc!
This a rather late log as i now have just discovered i had n't logged it earlier.
i parked and went for a walk down the steps etc to the GZ and it took me a while before i realised i should look further and then i had it hand and duly it got signed and returned.
Thanks for this cache.

Enjoyed the short walk into here and made the find exactly as described thanks. TFTC # 13,728
Lots of bird life today and scented gum leaves on the ground. A delightful walkway. Found the cache quickly. Returned to its hiding place, safe and dry.
Find #2979. Out for the day gathering up caches in localised areas to complete the map with the yellow smiley face.
Completely lost satellite reception but put the hint to good use. SL TFTC

Today was the last official day of the Mega.
Plans were to collect as many puzzle caches that we had solved in the area plus anything else that came along.
Most of the puzzles were road side witch was extremely busy so parking in some cases were peoples driveways and balancing on road edges and some we didn't go for as they were to difficult to get to. Another day and we have to return.
Al in all a very successful day. SLTFTC

WENZ Mega Weekend is finally here... Our big focus for today will be to clear out the Kiwi Geo Art trail around the Pauatahanui Basin. We are expecting some challenges here - narrow roads and lots of muggles. With Gap (of Fap and Gap), NZFlossy, and McJandals...
Sunday: We were a little more relaxed today, since there were no pressures to be at certain places on time... A nice little bush walk down into the gully. TFTC.

Attending the mega with TeamBOP. Great time to catch up with other cachers and visit Wellington lLots of fun and laughs while finding lots of great caches Thanks to all the COs for providing all the caches and the work that goes into them. Sorry for the generic logs will try to add to them once back home Thanks
Attending the Wellington MEGA, great to visit here from the sunny Bay of Plenty, these finds have been found with my team members, which include myself, NZ Flossy, Squirrel Nutcase, FapandGap, Philip Perry, TNXPRO and Davidson Clan (To save room on logs) We are having a blast and gathering lots of smileys along the way. Please excuse generic logs in advance. (as I have saved the template using Cachly) Many Thanks to all you cache owners for the placements. Cheers
Heading out this way for some more of the Kiwi, and made the quick detour to grab this one. All safe and dry here. TFTC
I was out in the Pauatahunui Inlet area doing some maintenance on a few caches. I own a six of the Kiwi Geo Trail series and the log books were getting wet and two of the containers were missing. It was a lovely day so I had finished work early and came out here on the way home. I had all the stuff I needed in the car so it was just a matter of finding somewhere to park near each of the maintenance stops. Today was mostly about replacing soggy paper so that caches can record their visits to the Kiwi!
Anyway, while I was out here I decided to have a look for this cache. I parked at the recommended spot and took a short walk to GZ. There was no-one around while I was searching and it didn't take too long to get my hands on the prize.
I dropped off Zeeuws Ducky TB while I was here. I found it in the South Island and it was about time I placed it somewhere.
The cache is in good condition. All nice and dry.
Thank you
Cherrys Rule

Nice easy find with the hint, met a walker carrying his dog up, pretty little reserve, dropped off a TB
Found it out with the family. Delayed logging it due to being busy. TFTC
We approached from the other direction, so had to go up the stairs then come down again. 22 up if that helps anyone! TFTC
A quick find with the Geofamily once we had the right spot (22 steps up). Another one I beat the rest of the family to. TFTC
We looked for trolls under the bridge but didn't see any. We did makes some swaps though. TFTC
Hint initially had us puzzled, but B’s caching sense got us there quickly. TFTC!
Nice reserve, though muggy weather for walking. Just a quick looking required; cheers!
A quick find while in the neighbourhood with NZ1. As indicated the trees are a nuisance for the gps so I used the hint for a quick find.
Thanks for another smilie.
Did you know that planning has started for a Mega Event in Wellington in 2018? Check out the details on the [Wellington Event NZ (WENZ) Website](https://sites.google.com/site/wenzgeo2018/home) or visit the event's page on [FaceBook](https://www.facebook.com/groups/590545297801072/).
Hoping to see you at the [Oamaru Geofest](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC6M2V0_oamaru-geofest-2017) during Labour Weekend 21-22 October 2017. Let's all help this a successful event!
Thanks to the Cache Owner who has gone to the trouble of creating this cache, determining the coordinates and then averaging them to make sure they are accurate, placing the cache and registering it online for our enjoyment. Without Cache Owners doing their bit, there wouldn't be a fun hobby that we all love - so again a big THANK YOU. For our bit, all we need to do is find and log the cache that was carefully placed for our personal enjoyment. As we log it we should consider that the Cache Owner also needs to maintain it - when the log sheet fills up, they must replace it. When the container becomes full of water, they need to empty it. When the container is broken, they need to repair it. When it goes missing they need to find or replace it. Well..... the great news is we can do our bit too - make sure your log doesn't take an entire page - just a name and date. If full of water, empty and dry the cache as best as possible. Be careful when handling the cache and make sure you replace it where you found it. If it has a bag, seal it. Just remember - the Cache Owner showed respect to you by placing the cache - please respect them and fellow cachers that follow you by being careful with the cache. And if you have a spare log sheet and the cache you are at needs one, please leave it behind. Finally, if the cache does need maintenance, please let the Cache Owner know - you can log a Maintenance Log or you can drop a line to the Cache Owner. Above all - have fun and remember the Geocaching Code.
