Adelaide Trip September 2017. Day 10. Driving Home. I left Adelaide and headed towards Robinvale via Renmark and Mildura. After re-fueling I could not go without getting the cache in the next door car park. It was a bit further from GZ than I was expecting.
Thanks.

Heading to Costco for some things... busy on a Saturday!! Lucky I had my ultimate geocaching tool with me... my Pram! Used it as a stop and look and search and found it very quickly as I walked up to it. Forgot the pen so photo evidence provided! Now to go to Costco and buy some pens!!
Very good hide dnf the first time we looked but tonight with no muggled around got it
Geocaching has taken me on many adventures over the years all over Australia and overseas. It has also introduced me to a brilliant and diverse group of people, many of whom are now close friends.
Today I was lucky enough to be out and about with some of those friends and we targeted this cache.
Sorry for the late log, but thanks for adding to the adventure!
Thanks 3LG for placing this cache.

Quick night find with AnneT and Kaos while doing some other puzzle finds. TFTC.
Out and about with AnyMules, mogni and Brisal5 getting some caches. Good company, good weather and if course more than a few boxes found. TFTC 15/4/17, 9:10 am Find #2073
Out on a quick cache run this took a little bit to find as the GPS wouldn't settle.... eventually found signed and returned.... TFTC

Needed a cache for today for the calendar and already failed this morning on the way to work so was glad to make a quick find here on the way home from work. A handy cache as needed to get milk TFTC
Having had to take dad's car north to get serviced I decided I had enough time to pick up a few caches whilst I was waiting. Some generally quick finds were made, along with some good hides. A positive for the day was being able to pick up a few puzzle finals that had been sitting in my gps for a long time.

Out & about with brisal5 today...we were meant to be on our way to Sedan...at least that was the original plan...brisal5 said let's take a slight detour...hmmm!!!...we never did get to Sedan...

Out with Locus and Moneydork tonight on a city cache run.
Lots of fun had and stories shared. Whilst I did piggyback on the solutions of others for a number of the caches, My mark is in the logbook. I will have plenty of fun solving these mysteries in due course.
A quick find, although I did have to circle twice. Must have been the lighting...
Thanks for the cache, the hunt and the fun. Greetings from Melbourne.

After stopping nearby to grab a recent puzzle, I decided to pick this one as I was pretty much right next to it. A nice easy find right where the GPS wanted me to look. TFTC. 13/9/16, 7:30 pm Find #2768
This was the first cache my son and I ever looked for after signing up on my phone in the car park waiting for Costco to open. After a bomber of attempts with no idea what we were looking for, we finally found this 'Cool' cache this afternoon before the storm rolled in. TFTC.
Was in the area after netball today and in between rain showers I stopped off to find this cache. [^]
Well that was a fun "find" [?] Found the cache right where my GPSr wanted me, but retrieving it was another matter.
Eventually had a break and made the grab then back to the car to sign the log. Had to time the replacement as well, but eventually had it back in place and headed off with a smile on my face.
Thanks for the cache 3LG.

After attending a Pi event for breakfast I found myself in the city with nothing to do all day but cache my way around until it was time for another Pi event for Dinner. The second event was to be hosted by the one and only BFE, so perhaps I should make it a BFE day and grab a few of the numerous ones sitting on my solved but yet to find list. Joined up with Goodlook and CPWanderer after the breakfast and set off in search of getting closer to BFE nirvana. Of course no doubt a few other close by caches would not be ignored.
I was the only member of our merry band of cachers who hadn't done this but they let me stop and get it anyway. Privilege of providing the wheels I guess. With this timing is everything. Thanks 3 LG

On studying the past logs and doing my "Homework" on this potential High-Muggle spot I wanted to make my search brief but successful. Successful i was immediately [^], having seen this kind of hide before. Even so it was a corker and being very fond of 3LG hides it earns a fave point . I went inside the warmer confines of the Churchill centre to log my find. there was an Armourguard truck right out front of where I wanted to sit and sign the log so I thought better of it and went inside, where it's "Warmer"... damn! it's COLD today [B)]. SL at 12:40 on Friday 24 June 2016. TFTC 3LG
Found on a wet miserable day with vj187. A quick find. Love the camouflage. TFTC
What a fantastic hide. Thousands of people pass this spot every day without having a clue. Thank you
After I decided not to look at my GPSr (which was telling me to be near a shop), I thought about where I would hide a cache, so I ventured out a few steps into the car park area and woo hoo, there it was! A great hide, well camouflaged, but in plain site.
Today was my first time at Costco in Australia and I LOVED it [:X] I met a friend as they had a membership card, and after 2 hours of perusing the aisles I had lots of items in her trolley, but I was still not convinced I needed my own membership.
I could see there was a cache within metres of the entrance, but as we'd spent so much time shopping I didn't have time to search for it.
Fast forward a couple of hours...I became so enamoured with Costco that I went back (second trip for the day) with another buddy and signed up AND I found the cache!!
Beautiful weather, spending time with friends, lunch at a cafe, shopping and finding a cache.......do days get any better??
Thanks for the cache 3LG

Veni. Vidi. Vici. Scripsi. Finally. Three visits to get this one. First time the gps had me bouncing all over the place and could not decide where to search. Second visit was during a lunchtime caching run and despite many muggles managed to locate the hide. Amazing how much Searching you. Can do while pretending to be on the phone. Pensioner muggle in car next for was looking at me strangely. This visit early and there were no muggles and went straight to the cache and took it to the car to sign the log. Replaced the cache in its clever hide. I do like the animal facts series. Gratias pro cache.
What a sneaky little hide! Plenty of muggles but still managed to find it. TFTC
Had a job to do out north near dublin, but had to pick up a parcel at a near by transport company. What else do you do when you have a few minutes spare - Cache.
This was a nice easy one. I have been lucky to find a few like this so when I arrived at the GZ it was a real easy find

Quick little grab. Not too many muggles at half six at night. Found with Ados31. Tftc.
Parked the car near Costco late on a Friday night while the family went in, so I hooked into the free wifi and found that there was a cache not 50m from where I was. A quick hunt around found a subtly disguised cache. Didnt have a pen to sign the small log, but another one to tick off the list. Interesting facts about Aardvarks too
Out for a Sunday Caching Drive lets see where we go today, we started off packed the ute with sliced Meat, sliced cheese, sliced beetroot and gherkins to make sandwiches but mum as we arrived in Burra said oops forgot the Bread so on the way we need to remember to buy bread so we can make sandwiches for lunch. So off we go from Burra the day over cast looking like rain but Rain does not stop Caching does it! Anyway found easy. TFTC
On the way to a Phooning morning in the city as we walked the streets to our location this one was on the way past so who could resist a cache this close easy find. TFTC
Ismartis had the day off work and had reason to visit this shopping centre so she decided to have a look for the cache. In the end she found it in the first place she had looked, but not before looking in several other places as well.
In fact she was just about to give up when she took a step back and spotted the blighter. She thinks this might be a bit harder than a 1D, especially with all the muggles around.
TFTC 3LG!

Finally happened to be here when the shops are closed and the carpark is empty. Still it took a while to locate, lots of options within the 10 metre radius, the GPSr was not very helpful this evening TNLNSL TFTC

It was Geocaching's 15th Birthday and Moneydork had put on an event... How could I not go??? I was picked up locus cache and headed up the out for a fun filled day of caches and an event...
After the event, I decided to head out and clear up some local caches... A fantastic day of caching with an event thrown in... A beautiful time of year with all the trees in colour and everything lush and green... Although it was quite cold today, the pleasant company made it warmer... A great day out as I tagged along with locus cache and some other teams as the afternoon lengthened...
A bit of a stroll, a bit of a search, made the find, stamped log and replaced again... [8D

What a great day! [^]
I set out with Snap Happy to attend Geocaching's 15th birthday event at St Peters.
Ended the day with 1 event attended and 3 finds and 1 DNF plus a crawl into a cave prior to dropping Snap Happy at his SA home then I headed out later after tea to do another cache with muggle partner.
I stopped near here for cheap diesel and saw a cache, less than 200m away.
What else could we do but go and make a quick find

Need a cache find for today to fill in a gap in my year calendar .... so this one was on my bike ride to work, so it was the one I was targetting for today!
I'd previously tried this one before with my iPhone, but was unsuccessful .... back this time with my Dakota 20 gps and came up with the find today.
Nice and quiet at this time of the morning.

Mr Tardis hasn't ventured down here since this was paddocks - it has certainly changed significantly in the last year. A really great use of the right container in the right location. I had my cloak of invisibility on, but I don't think I needed it as shoppers were too concerned in getting big bulk bargains.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache 3LG.

A visit to the nearby Costco to check out what all the hypw was about, sorry but this Costco system seems a complete scam to us. At least the trip was not wasteful with the clever hide. TFTC

We got to Costco a little early for meeting up with my sister and Bruce said I bet there is a cache around here somewhere and yes he was right. A nice hide. Thanks to 3LG for placing this cache.
Found during a caching foray into the northern suburbs. This one had me searching all over the place until one came to ones senses and spotted the not-so-obvious. Thanks for the cache 3LG!
I have seen this type of container but it didn't register for a while ...........

Having recently joined, decided to show Donnazev around Costco and noticed the nearby cache. Being the day before a public holiday (do shops REALLY shut all day in Adelaide just because it's Australia Day???) there were so many people out today stocking up for Aus Day....just in case famine hit....
Decided that the only way to do it was to be bold, so quickly grabbed the cache between passing cars, took it away, signed the log, and after waiting a minute or two for all the existing cars to pass, reversed the process.
Sometimes a quick snatch, grab and keep moving is less obvious than trying to hang around waiting for people to leave.
Thanks for the cache 3LG. Another one in the animal series checked off.

Was having second thoughts about this one when we arrived as there where hordes of muggles, EVERYWHERE!!!..Hmmm just because we are on holiday obviously doesn't mean everyone else is! trying to look as inconspicuous as possible we had a quick scan around GZ and spotted the hide. Managed to retrieve and replace without being noticed! Took a while though! TFTC 3LG

Aaaarrgh !! All I could think of here was .... "Ethel the Aardvark Goes Quantity Surveying", a good read apparently
And probably available from the new shop that has just opened next door, but only if you want a dozen copies
Meanwhile thoughts of a cache find came to mind and after a false start, I found the right spot and spied a well concealed cache
The bike and a can of fizzy cola came in handy to distract the few early morning muggles
When the other new shop across the road opens, this cache should still be easy fo find, so there should be no beefs with the cache location

I've seen a couple of these containers before but this is a great location for this style of cache. Well done 3LG and thanks for another one.
The last for the day, after having to walk away from a few I wanted to get today due to massive muggle presence. Fortunately I arrived after hours, so the bulk of people were not around to wonder what I was doing. Spotted from a distance and after a quick retrieval took the cache back to my car to sign the log. Nice hide, appropriate for an area with so much foot traffic! TFTC 3LG!

Find # 1001. After the longest non caching streak of 10 days mum braved her pain (had gall bladder removed) and drove the kids to school (the pain was worth it for a quiet house) Had been watching and wondering where this might be and did the round and round thing with iPhone. Then reread the logs and went straight to the hide. Good one. This was the first hide we were shown, quite fitting I think. Celebrated with a coffee while contemplating the opening of the mega shop being finalised next door. Thanks for the cache and the series 3LG.
