Time to let this one go. Town has become busier since this was first published and it’s too visible

Visiting the pretty village of Kin Kin.
After a picnic snack in the park, with coffee from the General store we attempted this cache.
No luck here today.

Another DNF here for us. Looked around & under. Very hot & a bit worried about which way a snake might attack from as it was prime habitat.
Found the container but it has no lid. We signed the delicate log sheet, having nothing better to add
Thanks WallabyWanderers

On my way from Canberra to North Queensland with a few detours for shires. TFTC.
A quick find underneath. No log so added some paper to scrawl on. Be gentle with it. It's all I had.

Having a day out exploring while camping at the Showground in Pomona. Geohubby spied this cache location on the map and we found the cache in about the third place we looked. Not our best effort. It was in good condition and we gladly signed the log.
A couple of days later we came to this town again and bought our lunch at the popular cafe here in town. It was delicious!
Cheers and happy caching!

Tftc, made a quick find here , like the hint.
Cache in great condition.
Will have to return, the cafe here is crowded, usually means it's worth a visit.

This one we can put down to experience. No data up here so with just a countdown on navigation we deduced, searched and found. Tftc. 36degrees in beautiful Kin Kin today. Definitely needed to be a quick find
Heading home on the Fat Bike after a fun filled week on Fraser Island and Rainbow Beach. We stayed overnight in the Kin Kin Pub and I grabbed this cache early next morning prior to a great breakfast nearby.

Second time round we managed to find this one! It is very wet inside and we tried to dry the log the best we could. Very glad to find this one before we left. TFTC!
Great cache came back for the second time with Erm_the_worm to turn this one Into a smiley
Came to look for this one today but it was really wet and hard to search properly. We will be back to have another look though!

We weren't sure if we'd find this one but yah we got it . Greetings from Scotland.
Had a good look around inside and under and in the bushes but could not spot anything matching the size listed. Will watch out for other finds...
Located cache. Other than the log book it was empty, so tb gone when original went missing I imagine. Tftc! Love kinkin
Storigirls and I were out and about on another caching adventure. We stopped and bought an icecream from the nearby cafe before heading to this cache. It was quickly located and the log signed. TFTC
I was out caching in the area with Selva Girls and the youngest geoteen, and we had eventually made our way into town. We made a stop at the nearby establishment for icecream and a cold drink, before heading to gz. A short hunt revealed the container, and we added our name to the log. Tftc dahumbug and Wallaby Tim
Two tentative kiwis scrummaging around in the bushes! You have to be brave geocaching in Australia! GZ was blocked by a humongous spider of unknown origins. Took his photo and edged past to secure the cache. Great camo. A lovely location to mooch around. It was a bonus to find a cache here. TFTC and greetings from Tauranga, New Zealand
Will inspect and replace cache within the next couple of days if its not there.
After attending a nearby event and bolstered by a coffee from the nearby café, we quickly searched for this cache which we found easily. It was then time to head off to Harry's Hut for a paddle up the river, set up camp and a hike out to the Cooloola Sandpatch
Thank you dahumbug for having placed the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy.

A quick find before Nyssaflutterby's event in this park.
MrsSP made the reach for this one.
Kin Kin looks like a nice quiet place and the cafe across the road makes nice coffee and good black burgers.

Saturday. In this lovely little park to attend an Event with several other geocachers, when someone said “have you got the cache in this park?” As I didn’t have any reception and hadn’t downloaded anything to my offline list, the answer was no. Another of our other cachers did have some reception however, and so we made the quick find on this cache (with myself getting rather muddy pants collecting this cache). Cache container and log book are in excellent condition. Great little park and lovely area indeed! Thankyou for bringing us to this little park so we could have our Event
This was the 2nd of 4 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***dahumbug***, for showing us this place.

Probably should have peered more closely at the contours on the Noosa Trails Map but, anyway...
Slogged up and down hills for four hours in the sun with a group of bushies and stumbled into the General Store for a cold sugary drink. Having recovered sufficiently to drive to our camping spot for the night, I wandered off to locate this cache A quick find and all is good here interesting little village at nowhere in particular.
I’ll be back to complete the Noosa Trails when Council installs a travelator

Today's plan was for NyssaFlutterby and I to head up the Sunshine Coast on a bit of a discovery adventure, but we started to get unstuck with the Bruce Carpark courtesy of the Caloundra Music Festival, and decided to take the back roads instead. Making a couple of stops around Landsborough, we eventually got as far as Kin Kin for a quick loo and coffee break. Stopping right by GZ Nyssa soon realised that what she thought was a toilet was just really a glorified box. However that glorified box did have a cache for me to grab, and having spent much time lately conversing with the CO, it would be nothing short of disgraceful if I did not make a find here today.
Of course I did make it harder than I needed to, trying to enter the long dead grasslike cover, hoping there would not be a snakey surprise awaiting me. And then I headed back to a spot where it was much easier and I made my find quickly. Signing the logbook, with an added message from my partner in crime, we then removed a large bag of Oreo cookies from the cache and placed them directly into the bin next to GZ. Then we were off on our way to the proper public amenities followed by a decent coffee from the local coffee shop.
Thanks for the cache dahumbug.

Out chasing warriors this afternoon and heading generally south west I found myself needing to stop somewhere like here. And here is a cache too, bonus.
Thanks for placing this cache, dahumbug. Found in good condition.

We are over here from Kapiti NZ escaping our winter and seeking some sunshine - we have not been disappointed. This cache was a quick find in a lovely area. It looks as if several junior muggles have also found the cache and left little messages. Never mind, at least the cache was still there with plenty of room in the log book, Thanks for placing a cache here.
While on our way home from a camping weekend at Harry's Hut, decided to pick up a few caches on the way home.
With camper in tow, we managed to stop in the parking area and I went in search for this one just as it started to rain. Checked under the likely hiding places on the structure but went inside to get out of the rain and check for it from inside. Located cache from there and hubby went in for the retrieve. Logbook signed, added a few swaps and replaced cache back where we found it.
Looks a lovely little town, will come back for a good look around when its not raining.

No luck today, the GPS had us going from place to place. Will have to try another day.
Lazy Sunday afternoon planned. My amazing geo-partner KaleidoscopeCass and I decided to go grab a few more local caches.. heading north west of Boreen Point to Cedar Creek outside of Gympie. We had nine planned and successfully found 8.. this cache was found . Thanks for the cache!
Sixth find of the day in sweltering muggy heat with my amazing geopartner WallabyTim. I have a particular love/hate relationship with dahumbug's caches as they are usually extremely clever and tricky (which I love) but then can often be stumped with puzzles etc (which I hate!). Surprisingly, this was rated as an easy one by his standards. However it took us two attempts at this one, the first being at night which made it difficult to see much at all. So whilst in the area we had another crack and cache was soon in hand. TFTC
I had it in the caching plan to come to Gympie today to do the (13) new ones that this Sweet-Sour had placed. I contacted Keith (Sweet-Sour) to see if he wanted to come for a drive as I anticipated he had at least two of his hides to maintain and he accepted the offer. Checked the internet last night and saw a new hide in Maryborough, got home to discover two more new hides but not to worry will be back , and 8 more from Sweet-Sour. Apologies for cut and paste logs as I have a lot to write.
38 hides in the plan today. 36 finds, 1 did not attempt as I did not have a ladder with me, and one
( The emperor ) I did not go out of my way to attempt as it was now dark on our return to Gympie.
No DNF's but came awfully close to one or two but persistent paid off. Left home at 0545 and arrived at the residence of Sweet-Sour at 0615. 486klmn drive today, home to home, and arrived home at 2000hours. Long day but there were many breaks along the way. We drove from Gunalda to Maryborough to Wolvi then to Cooran then to Kin Kin then to Mapleton then Amamoor then back to North of Gympie.
Drove down from Maryborough to this area and started my caching adventure again. After finding Doggrel Trees this one was next on the list. I read the description and after parking in a good spot across the road walked over and soon had the container in hand. All good with this one. Good hide. Placed back where found in its little hidey spot. TFTC dahumbug.

Having spent a fair bit of time around Kin Kin on various hikes, I was determined to find this cache. Thankfully it wasn't to difficult to locate although the phone reception (or lack of it) was messing me around.

A lovely little place to visit on our way to Nanango. Parked very close to GZ and cache was soon in hand. TFTC dahumbug
We had decided to take a drive to Kin Kin today and grab a few caches whilst we were at it. This cache was number 2 on the list.
We found a good parking spot not very far from GZ and made our way over to it. For some reason, there was no phone reception so I fired up my E Trex 10 and relised that we were not very far away from GZ at all.
After a short search, the cache was in hand.
The log was signed and the cache returned exactly as found.
All is good with this cache.
Find #329.

1969, The entire shipment of John Lennon and Yoko Ono's album 'Two Virgins' was seized by authorities in New Jersey due to the full frontal nude photograph of the couple on the cover. The album was eventually wrapped in plain brown paper in record stores.

I have traveled through Kin Kin many times on my bicycle. You can ride all the way here from Tewantin along the Noosa trail network. [^]
I had not ridden far today, but I still had some distance and a few more hills to get too.
When I arrived at this one the hint did not make sense. Then I headed towards GZ and saw what I needed. A nice quick find thanks.

*FTF* 1343 Received notifications of 4 new caches, this and another out Kin Kin way, I had a chance at FTF.
At the intersection of Tin Can Bay Rd and Cedar Creek Rd, I brought up the cache on my Garmin, 17k away, entered it into the Nuvi car GPS, 37k by road, one big circle.
Cache found easily enough, checked the co-ords, a little out, published the ones that worked for me today.
Thanks dahumbug for the new caches, it has been a long time since I've had a chance for a FTF.
