geowife didn't want to get close with the GZ, bad experience with having few "pets" ie leeches
geohubby did his best to search the GZ but still not luck
but it was a good short walk up here
and oh yes ... had a war with a battalion of mozzies
thanks to bring us to here brad1987

After a big fight with moskitos (that i won), i could sign the log. Aeroguard recommended!!!
Thanks for hiding brad.
Thanks for hiding brad.
Thank goodness I didn't see the comment about leeches before I did this one, else I probably wouldn't have done it! Even without the leeches this one was a case of "I'm here now so grit my teeth and just do it".
I admit a let out a yelp when I stepped down and my foot sank into the layer of soggy leaves a bit. If mosquitoes lived in hives then this cache is smack in the middle of a hive, horrendous numbers of them.
I think this was the fastest I've ever signed a log, thank goodness it was easy to reach and put back.

Nice quick find. Biggest problem is going to be getting the leaches off my legs. I really hate leaches.
Good bike track and nice area but my question is will it survive a deluge of rain and run off of water.TFTC.

Stopped in with Batdos while we were cycling around town, getting him a few local caches. Replaced container and raised up a little.

I was down in Coffs visiting my daughter (Coucho90) and her partner (Jared86) they had the day off so we formulated a plan and headed off to caches that we all had not found yet!!!
We were having a good run so far with only one DNF which was definitely a missing cache so I call that a clear run!!
We decided to approach this from below and headed up the track through the very pleasant bush area!!
We were enjoying the walk so much we headed just past GZ so we turned around and immediately spotted GZ area!!!
The cache was found very quickly and even though the log was able to be written on it was still very damp and musty!!!
Thanks Brad TFTC SL TNLN

A nice walk to get here but log is VERY wet, maybe that's because it's in the water drain course !! Easy find TFTC
We weren't really needing another wander after completing the 10 km Boambee Beach Dune Walk but it's hard to ignore a cache nearby. Normally we would have loved to continue on but today GZ was far enough. TFTC brad1987. The log was quite damp and getting hard to write on.
We have spent a full day of caching in the Coffs Harbour area.
We spent a nice day travelling along the scenic roads, somel locations with magnificant views.
A good hint by one of the previous finders helped locate this cache.
Thanks for placing this cache brad1987

Found at 4:53 PM GAFF3. Last cache for the day and - heck what an ordeal - a distance of 15 metres [xx(] Thankfully there was a hint, but I thought that the Terrain rating was a bit under, so at first I didn't go in to that extent. Took ages to get some co-ords that may be better - so hope they help.
Thanks brad1987.
Thanks brad1987.
Caching with earthly65, we had to use the clue as co-ords had us all over the place under treecover...tftc brad1987
I drove around from the jetty side and up over the hill I seen the new cache 100m south from where I parked and thought hmmm bike track cant see it so I did the next best thing (AS THE CROW FLYS)
as I got within 5m I seen the bike track... darn it, oh well. straight lined it only means one thing on the way back, I found the cache good spot but after some rain it may be a different story. thanks brad1987 tctfsltnln
