I was lucky enough to get my headlight bulb clipped back in in time to tag along with ThePacman while he chipped away at collecting the mass of archived caches he has dotted around the Great Circle Drive.
It was only last year that I travelled the circuit for the first time in decades, so I'd missed the series.
And from what I've seen, that's my loss.
But I got a few smileys today.
My guide saved the best for last. An excellent puzzle, and the part of the cache containing the log, if not the whole thing. Between the storms that have turned a clearing into a jumble of fallen branches, and a far bigger lagoon nearby than when it was first placed, the cache site had changed quite considerably.
Thanks, ThePacman, for your indulgence, and for the lessons in cache placement and puzzle creation.

Had to venture to the You-Yangs for today's streak find and decided to hit a few select caches while I was here.
Yet another really well constructed hide here that actually took a little finding.
Blends in really well with the surroundings.
Even had all the ants fooled who have made it a bit of a home.
Yet another fav point eaten up by the Pacman!!

A favourite from me for the idea and the clever hide. Has been so hard to pick favourites out of this series but this one definitely stood out for me! Tftc
Find # 7453
Found while out on a solo caching day. Plan was to, finally, grab the 2 mystery trails near Lara, as I've had them solved for some time now. And then to head into the YouYangs to grab some smilies around the Great Circle Dr and to finish off caching at an event.
Oh and grab the odd cache thay pops up on the GPSr.
With the stinking heat n gail force winds, it was quite the interesting day. A couple of snakes, lots of lizards, and quite a big fire near Little River to keep an eye on.
All making a memorable solo caching trip, around the area.

The math for this cache is amazing! The camo is awesome! The gps on my iPhone is terrible! Thanks
On a most delightful winters day I was out enjoying the You Yangs area in the wonderful company of echidna44 and xambo4u. We met up early for what turned out to be an excellent day of caching and good company. The quality of the caches was outstanding due in no small part to the work that had gone into their construction. I found 38 caches and not a single DNF which was very satisfying. What a fun puzzle and I solved it by myself.
Thanks The Pacman
Thanks The Pacman
Out today with xambo4u & au.fait, we had a plan to cache in the You Yangs. We did a couple, then decided it would be best to do the 12 km one way circle drive first, as there was an event on for both cyclists and runners along the way.
One night xambo4u & I looked at this puzzle and did it separately. We were amazed when it worked out as we had each chosen different numbers. We were chuffed. A favourite point, thanks ThePacman

Out and about for the day with echidna44 and au.fait to do a You Yang trail. Picked a nice one with a little sun and not much wind. We have left the cyclists and joggers now. Very surprised the condition of the road we are driving, The ruts seem to be getting bigger. Where to pull off?? Did the foolish puzzle at home. Had us guessing for a while till the eagle eye of the echidna44 had the excellent discovery. Best ever camo here, well done. Gets a favourite from me. Thanks for the great run of caches ThePacman
Decided today was the day to complete the YYCD series. The weather was beautiful and very little muggle activity, made for a great day of caching up here. Glad l had the AWD as some of the track was pretty rugged in some areas. All caches located and coords very accurate.
Thanks ThePacman for a terrific series.
Solved the puzzle then found the cache. The ants have moved in so just be aware when extracting the log. LS. Great camo.

Geojack loves his maths problems, and had tried to trick me with this one a couple of weeks ago. Once the coords were reached, we quickly found this hide. Another good one. Fav point here as well. TFTC
Late last night (or was it early this morning) I was looking at the map and contemplating whether I wanted to drive to Geelong to pick up a part for my r/c car and then do some geocaching on the way back. My interest was piqued by the You Yangs series and the variety and so a plan was hatched.
Cut to 12:30pm and I have arrived at GZ ready and raring to hunt down the elusive tupperware containers!
23rd cache - hmm I think my number was 3, or was it 7... you tell me.
I know I walked in circles 3 times around the cache before honing in on it, could it be... Yes it is! another clever hide!

We found YYCD #23 - Fool's Gully on a nice drive around the You Yangs and surrounds. Without the kids it was a great afternoon to pick up a few selected caches.

We had planned to go to Geelong for a day of caching - but a detour on the way to do a nearby cache with high favourite points got us off the highway. With the You Yangs visibile we thought it was time to finish of this series that we had sampled (the first three caches) way back in August 2016. We had been meaning to get back after enjoying the start of the series and so today was the day.
What a fanstastic series with such a great variety of hides, cache types and sizes.
Today the area was buzzing with mountain bikers which I suspect it is most weekends.
We had a fantastic day and managed to see stacks of kangaroos and even one koala! We also had a little scare with the car brakes but we lived to tell the tale.
The quality of these caches and camo is amazing. Thanks ThePacman for putting out and maintaining this fun series for cachers to enjoy. And a fantastic location of course.

Very tricky Mr ThePacman...you must be psychic or something..
There is no need to mention the number we used in the log, you have already read our minds..

Team T.S.B on a mission to complete 2 separate puzzles series, and of course to nail the YYCD PT. A NC in Lara to top things off - All accomplished with one DNF and a few extra hides along the way.
An awesome day indeed with awesome views; hides and mate ship along the way.
Many thx to the CO – nicely executed hides – shall recommend
Apologies for genetic logs

I crunched the numbers for this one last night. How spooky! Today the cache revealed itself after a bit of a search with tidder and shogun-. There was a consensus in the group that this one was particularly well constructed and convincing. Thanks once more ThePacman!
This novel bit of numeromancy was quickly solved, the hunt however took much longer...

One of the plans for our holidays in the area, was checking out the You Yangs, and when seeing this trail of caches, we thought we would spend the afternoon doing this trail on foot. We started at 1pm and finished just after 5pm, walking 13.6km and found 27 of the 30 caches.
Interesting cache this one. We were walking around following the GPS which kept moving, when a couple on bikes stopped at the picnic table where we had left our bag. We thought we had better move on, when they come over saying "We know what you 2 are doing!" Pleased to meet "Team BGF" who had been been seeing our name in the previous caches. We asked if they found them all, and they confirmed they had, and we believed them, when they found this cache in a minute.
Thanks for the cache The Pacman

#2817 Enjoying an afternoon ride around this circuit managing to successfully find all YYCD series caches.
Flew down on the treadlies from #22 to this one and immediately noticed what looked like initially an abandoned bag on a picnic table near gz. However on closer inspection we noticed a couple of peeps poking around the nearby bushes looking very dubious and somewhat surprised by our sudden appearance . Our GPSr was pointing in their direction and we thought AHA! We were introduced to Hunter whom were completing the series by foot. We joined in the search and the cache container was soon located. After a bit of a chat with these lovely people we continued on our way. TFTC ThePacman.

What a fabulous day we had, a beautiful location and an abundance of caching. 9km drive - 5 hours of caching. My family don't usually come with me which makes for many more DNF. We had snacks, enthusiasm, and the day to explore. We even went to a lovely B and B last night, knowing that the You Yangs were ready to explore on a nice day. Mr. Muggle found some sneaky camouflaged hides, Mr. six found some great swaps and Little Miss four loved exploring. A great family day out. Thankyou.
* 23 = Number 23 caused me to question myself, get grumpy at myself, to wonder why I spend so much time geocaching, to dislike geocaching, to going around in circles...until the cache was found and I felt so much better and reminded myself that this is the reason I geocache. TFTC

Wow, what a day. Down from Melbourne for a days caching showing amandjr the ropes. We found some awesome caches in this series with some hides that I had never seen before and hope to replicate. Overall we found 32 caches for the day with only one DNF. Thanks for the series ThePacman.
Down for the day with Smepster+Darcy to learn about Geocaching, wow what a day and what a amazing trail, some truly fantastic hiding spots thanks ThePacman.
We have had a solution for this one for a while so while in the park collecting a new puzzle we were heading this way on the exit road so of course spotted. A bit of a look around before the nice bit of camo was uncovered. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC. A favourite point for the camo.
This one was chockablock with ants. The kids had anticipated a long search (based on some of the previous hunts) but I found it swiftly and they hadn't finished their game of "parkour lava " which is apparently modern parlance for "the floor is lava". I had to play a quick game of "the cache is lava" to avoid ants crawling on my hand, and give it a couple of taps to shake off the remaining ones. For solving I picked the number seven. Most amount of fun maths EVAH.
Well, you had me fooled.
Setting the GPSr on "fool" mode I wandered off in search of GZ.
I ended up quite dizzy from all the circle work.
Finally stumbled upon GZ.
That was fun Joe. [^]

Watching n0w0rries wander round and round like a fool was strangely amusing.
He finally found this tricky hide a few metres away.
Thanks for the fun puzzle and the entertainment ThePacman.

14:46, 14 Jan 17, Find #154, out for the day caching with OzHockeyChick and jimbo_80, doing the You Yangs and we were on a mission to do this series of caches.
Well once again we were glad OHC was with us as it was quickly solved and checked, and we parked and headed off to find this one being a little bit further away from the road to the previous hides. We all got out and were looking for this one and it had us a little stumped but not long and it was once again found, signed and returned to its hiding spot.
Keeping up our great record of finds for the day without a DNF so far (I dont want to put the mozz on us just yet).
TFTC and these cache containers only get better as the day progresses, but we are on the downward spiral of this series.

Always one to plan ahead, OzHockeyChick solved this puzzle a few caches prior (I think the number she chose was 7?), but wasn't sure if she was correct as GZ wasn't as close to the road as the other hides in this series.
I didn't doubt her for a second and we soon made find at GZ. This tops the already high standard of camo we've seen today, favourite! The puzzle was cool too, thank you

Completed the puzzle at home, when I arrived at gz I headed off for the cache. Thankfully there was no one around to see this gully making a fool of me. Round and round in circles following the GPS, then finally I spotted something, could it be yes it moved when I pulled on it, to reveal what I was looking for. Good one ThePacman. A favourite is deserved.
Attending the event and cleaning up some caches in the area with Happy pants, omegaman1971 and Yoshi Warriors while at the event. Signed logs as DRAG Team. Clever little puzzle and I made the sneaky hide.

Hmm, we made full use of the table and benches nearby and sat down to work out this one, after a minute or two we soon had the co-ord's sorted (spooky really) and then walked around in circles following our gps's that just did not want to zero in. We moved this way and that and it was Happy Feet that eventually spotted this sneaky hide. Thanks ThePacman for the nifty little puzzle and hide.
In Geelong for the Christmas Events and some caching with Happy pants, Happy Feet 1 & Omegaman1971. We signed logs as DRAG Team.
Following the Christmas BBQ Lunch Event, we set out to do this series. We managed to find all 30 caches. This is one of the better trail series I have done with quality hides, variety and well maintained caches. Thanks ThePacman for an awesome series.
WOW, I can't believe the CO knew what number we'd pick!! Our GPS's struggled to settle here and it had us walking in circles a bit before it was found.

In the Geelong area to attend a number of events, visit a number of earthcaches and see whether I could find 25 caches for the day without utilising a power trail this cache contributed to the effort.

Found on Day 3 of Surf Coast Event four day adventure.
This was one of many puzzles we solved Thanks for organising the event home before our travels south. Today the job was to finish off the puzzle by hunting down and finding the caI qualified for the challenge cache as follows;e. Always enjoy a good puzzle.
Today we made our way to Anglesea for the Mega Event, including the official opening, and of course those elusive lab caches, before heading back to Geelong to the tackle the Its Puzzle Time series, and a pleasant drive through the You Yangs. And to make it a long and productive day, some night caching along Portarlington Road to finish things off!
Thanks ThePacman for putting out the cache and the hunt!

The day of the Surf Coast Mega had finally arrived. We (Gunnie69, The Green Geckos, Ghost Gums and myself) had teamed up for an assault on some carefully chosen puzzles caches (read that as the ones we were actually able to solve), earth caches, challenges, letterboxes and a smattering of other caches thrown into the mix to make it more interesting. Quality, not quantity was our mantra on this quest. But it still hurt to have to leave so many left unfound...
Having started today a little later than we had intended, we were trying to make up for lost time this morning and still make it to the mega in a timely manner. But somehow we kept getting sidetracked by unusual DT combos and such, but we still got there for the formalities, just. And as is usually the case when attending big events interstate, I was torn between wanting to mingle and socialise longer at the main event, or get back out there and do some more caching. The lure of the smileys won out and all too soon, we were back on the road again, tracking down all the lab caches that were on offer.
This was one of the puzzles that was on our hit list and then went out and found whilst in the area. No problems finding the cache either, being very quickly spotted whilst my companions were looking elsewhere - neat hide too. Thanks for the puzzle and for placing and maintaining the cache ThePacman. Hopefully I will return to this area sometime in the future when I have more time to explore and enjoy everything it has to offer more then...
A pleasant drive from the gravel pit, fools gully awaited and the group were ready... [^] Safety in numbers, I headed in with Ghostgums, The Green Geckos and Mistraluna, where the container was quickly in hand... Aha, this looks very similar to another container we found today...
Out with the log, out mark was made and everything tucked back in place. All done and conscious of the time, we headed off.
Cheers Pacman.

A big day out with Freddo, Brad&Janet and Moun10bike whilst at the Anglesea Mega.
Next on the menu were the You Yangs with 3 high terrain puzzle targets. We tried to get as close as possible to our targets but didn't realise we could only enter the circle drive from the south. Instead we parked on the east side and started walking. Which wasn't a bad thing as it gave us the opportunity to find some more excellent caches in the YYCD series.
This cache being a mystery was always on our radar. I applied some ESP and reverse psychology and channeled my inner Pacman and found something slightly out of place which turned out to be a great camo cache holder.
Thanks Pacman!

Very nicely done in an interesting location (except for the mosquitos!). After this, it was time to turn uphill for some challenging puzzles and hides! Thanks for the hunt!
Janet and I are here for the Anglesea Surf Coast Event Mega.
Today I was out with Freddo, Cache_or_Check, and Moun10bike. Janet had decided to have a day off and cacth up on some other things.
This was one of a few quick finds along the way as we headed towards our major puzzle targets in the You Yangs. As we were walking past it seemed sensible to grab these as well.
Thank goodness we chose the number that the CO was thinking of!
Another quick find as advertised.
On to the next target. I think it seems to be up there....

Visiting from QLD with joojoo57 and whilst staying in Lara we thought we'd attempt the You Yangs Circle Drive (YYCD) Series and hoped to complete it before leaving town. As it turned out, it was a beautiful day with clear blue skies and with the great cache description combined with the co-ords being spot on, we managed to nab the whole series within 3.5 hrs.
It was most enjoyable finding all the different crafted caches and the types of camouflage was a great talking point as we went along. Thanks ThePacman for the great effort that went into placing this Series, certainly lots of favorite points from me today - TFTC

Staying in Lara for several days before heading down to the Surf Coast Mega on the weekend. Snickersallan and I decided today was the best to head out to do the You Yang Drive. What a fabulous series taking you around a diverse environment. The variety of caches was amazing and the effort put into the whole series must have been incredible. Thanks ThePacman for a very enjoyable day of caching - one of the best!
What an excellent camoed cache and an enjoyable puzzle to solve to find GZ. Plenty of large rocks on the hill opposite. Be careful of the little ants at GZ. Can get cache without any trouble but the ants are liking it too!
This cache certainly was well planned and implemented.

We took our very first trip to the beautiful You Yangs today.
We only had time for the cricle drive and the nice weather meant it was a lovely drive.
The quality of the caches here were just amazing, you have certainly put a lot of effort into not only the hides but the locations.
We solved the cache and walked to GZ where we made a quick find. The water here looked so peaceful. Just a magic spot.

Thanks for all the effort of hiding and creating so many clever containers.

The math wasn't all that difficult, because Pacman is a mindreader. But we struggled for a couple of seconds to find this one, mostly because the hide was so well-concealed.
But we got it. And it's an important milestone, as well: **Find 400**
Whoo hoo!

Woohoo! I don't want to jinx ourselves but we just worked out 2 pacman puzzles in one day AND found the cache!
Another find by the McPhail family

The "100 caches in a day" challenge continues. This was find #24. I had to do this one nine times, just to make sure I got the right cache. Thanks heaps, ThePacman!
Found with Jabiru4721 - love these caches, great hides! Found a pair of sunglasses - left them on the picnic table
With 2 events in Geelong we (myself, becca85, neisha07 & Muggle Dad) decided to go along and make the most of our day.
We spent the morning doing the awesome You Yangs series, finsihing just in time to get to te lunch time event. The arvo was spent catching up GemmaSistema & wozzle68 to grab a few challenge caches along the water. Muggle Dad had to climb some trees, was fun!
We finished off our day with a great evening event and one more cache by torchlight with a muggle friend.
A great day, can't wait to come back this way again another day!

An awesome day was had today. Traveled from Maryborough to Geelong, completed the Young Yangs Circle Drive, 2 events, a FTF and a few others throughout the day.

Hilariously when solving this one last week, you did indeed read my mind (or did I read yours?)
We came across a couple stopped for lunch here which reminded us that we it was around 1pm and we were starving as we'd not found anywhere to stop yet.
Find was made quickly, no doubt leaving the Muggle couple to wonder what we were doing wandering off an back so quick.
We (neisha07, boo09 & I) have had this series on our to-do list for a while and with 2 events on in Lara today, we decided that today was the perfect day for it! With a 2 hour drive to get here and a time restraint so we could get to event #1, I had made sure to solve the quick puzzles and the projection multi, loaded the Whereigo and packed the family stamp in preparation.
We talked Muggle husband/Dad into joining us (mainly so he could drive while I navigated, Sshhh!), packed a picnic lunch and set our alarms for 7 for an 8am leave here and 10am start. Yeah right. Anyone who knows me would not be surprised to find out we got to #1 at 10.55am.
We made great time though, completing all 30 and finishing up at 2.10pm including a 15 minute lunch break.
All up this was a brilliant series that we all enjoyed, even muggle Dad for the most part! We started bribing him with treats around about #18.
Huge Thanks to ThePacman for the hard work that has gone into the creation and maintenance of this series.

Find #966. Geohubby stayed up late one night to solve puzzles and this was one of them, luckily. With our coords already worked out the hunt was fast and the log was signed in no time. Thanks ThePacman
After a correction in our mathematics, we managed to find this cache pretty easily! On to the final one for today!
We skipped ahead to do this one,
As we were running out of time to complete the run.
We wanted to get 6 different types out of the way,
So we could complete the "Busy Day"
The maths at first we got a little wrong
But we worked out the mistake before too long.
Once we had the right GZ
The cache became easy to see

Rokmum and I are off for a girls weekend caching and relaxing! This series was the focus of our stay, yesterday we did the question mark of puzzles and today we had this little gem in our sights!
We had a great day cruising around the you yangs, was quite surprised by area, it's a lot drier and less foresty (yes that's a word) than I expected. Sooo many crazy mountain bike riders dicing with death as they hurtle down the hill at a million miles an hour.
Thanks for the series.

LegoHeads and I headed out for our well deserved girl's weekend away. We've been planning this trip for a while and had completed all the puzzles in preparation. So pleased we were to have managed to successfully complete this series of great puzzles, that clearly have had such a lot of work put in to them. The puzzles themselves were great fun to do, but finding them proved to be so enjoyable! Such an amazing place the You Yangs are. We saw some amazing places and had a wonderful adventure. The caches were all very well constructed, and clearly a lot of time and dedication went in to building them. Thank you so much to Pacman for your efforts. We've had a brilliant weekend away!
We'd already had a couple of these that confused us and left us shaking our heads, and this one took the cake! Our GPS's were not cooporating in this area but it finally settled down, and yet still had us looking in the wrong place. LegoHeads finally spotted it after noticing a slightly different appearance. Very tricky.

Nice puzzle. Worked it out at home before caching. Nice variety of caches. Difficult to do this series as a power trail. Tftc.
Thank you Pacman for this great series. I appreciate your thoughtfulness that has gone into each of these caches. As a result, each of them was enjoyable. Some of these well camouflaged caches challenged my powers of observation for quite some time. The park was very quiet today so I wasn’t interrupted at all during the searching process. I would highly recommend this series to all.

While travelling with Mutex I’ve found a lot of caches all over Australia. You know, I like the discovering, especially in nature, but am not that much intopcs and internet ..and logging. So we spend a whole day together to indicate all the caches we found together out of his list. Hope you don't mind the standard text aslazy me has to log quitea few now. HopefullyI'm gonnawork on that
Thanks!

While spending 16 months abroad, travelling through all states of Australia and also having a two months break in Thailand I did a lot of geocaching.
After many, many caches accompanied by the strong will not to write any standard logs, I ended up with more than 700 finds, all waiting for an official log. After intense considerations and carefully weighing my options, you now receive this special limited edition numbered log.

This one get's a favourite because of it's beautiful camo and the nice mystery =)

You Yangs National Park Cache #41/77
Being in Melbourne all the time gets a little boring after a while. So DieRooneys, Mutex, Pfote and I decided that we should leave Melbourne for the weekend. We had a look at the geocaching map and the You Yangs National Park seemed just perfect. Heaps of geocaches with good ratings, camping spot nearby and it wasn't too far away from Melbourne
We started on Saturday with the northern part of the zoo series and did roughly three quarters. We found all 19 caches we were looking for this day and they were amazing!
Really cute ones, cool ideas, everyone was different. I haven’t had so much fun geocaching in a very long time! Thanks Na’wal for your creative zoo caches!
And after having a good night’s rest in Little River we were fit for another day. We did the whole You Yangs Circle Drive today and found all of the caches. And there was even some time left for an earthcache and two traditionals afterwards which makes a total of 32 caches for me today (I already found YYCD #3 on another day). Thanks a lot ThePacman for crafting so many perfectly camouflaged caches!
We let the evening end with an awesome burger dinner buffet. Since it was already dark we were wearing head torches But I think that’s how it should be on a good camping trip
DieRooneys and Pfote went to bed earlier than Mutex and me. We decided that there was still some time for a little mystery solving battle. We were puzzling till 3 am and managed to solve seventeen of the ‘It’s puzzle time’ mysteries. Today, on Monday we did the outdoor finding part
Even though our last day was broiling hot (maybe the hottest day I experienced so far) we found all mysteries we solved the night before, the rest of the zoo series and two traditionals on the way, 26 caches in total.
Thanks TR! for so many different mysteries. We had a lot of fun solving them!
It was an incredible weekend thanks to all owners and my amazing companionship!
But the highlight was that we’ve seen a wild Koala relaxing in a tree after finding our last cache for the day

Thanks a lot for taking care of this cache, showing me this place and turning my travels into an adventure!
Greetings from Germany.

Day 15 of 49
After a night in Little River we did the next Cache tour at You Yangs. The team consisted of Theatralis, Pfote, mutex and I. The main part of the tour we drove with out two cars. In between we parked our cars and walked a part by foot. This Series and the Zoo Series make the You Yangs park to something special. The whole park is full of perfekt build caches with perfekt tarned hidings! At the start of my trip through down-under i had no idea how the Australian Owners make her caches. Now i know it and i'm very excited about that! I enjoyed a perfekt cache day in an absolute amazing environment!
Thanks to ThePacman for the amazing installlations and the choice of the places.

At the moment Pfote and me are on a work and travel backpacking trip through the world. After I've spent a full year in Australia Pfote joined me for my second year down here. We will definitely try to collect a lot of boxes and all the special things in every state all around and through the middle.
This later weekend Pfote, Theatralis, Die Roonies and I made a trip to Geelong to cache ourselves through the You Yangs Park.
After we did around three quarters of the zoo series yesterday, we chose the YYCD for today and found all of the caches without any problems.
TFTC and greetings from Germany.

Down at the You Yangs for a lunch time BBQ get together and kick-off meeting for The Surf Coast 2016 mega (hopefully) event. I arrived first thing this morning so that I could get stuck into the the Circle Drive series. All caches found in good condition although some have full log books.
Now this was a tough one, every thing looks the same, spotted from afar....
Thanks for this cache and for an excellent and varied series Pacman

It's a curriculum day today! I had originally planned to do the East-West walk with my mum and dad and the GeoKids, but dad suffered a badminton injury and plans needed to be changed. Instead we finished off the Great Circle Drive Series, and found another few caches along the way.
We stopped here for lunch and to solve the puzzle to finding this cache. The search had us wandering around in circles before I noticed something that looked definitely worth checking out. I still can't figure out what about it attracted my attention but sure enough it was a very clever hide. TFTC!

New Year's resolution. Catch up logs from our Mega trip that have been put on the back burner. Thanks to all the cache owners for the fun while on holiday from NZ. Found with bkj97. T4TCSL
No fool like an old fool. Stuffed up the coordinate entry but the recheck got it sortedGreetings from New Zealand. Finally getting around to logging caches after attending the Mega. Found with little blue hen. Thanks to all the COs for the fun. TFTCSL
I was in need of some MTB seat time before this weekends MTB Orienteering Champs. What better way is there to do it whilst engaging in my other passion - geocaching? [^] I had heard from a fellow cacher about ThePacman's caches and after last evenings Cache on Elm Street I was keen to see some others. I spent well over my regulation 10 minute search time looking for this one. I double checked and triple checked my maths and kept returning to the exact same place in the forest everytime but be blowed if my tired eyes could spot the cache. Oh well, just as well there are more caches out there to find.
Unfortunately manzie and I were not able to enjoy a long weekend this weekend like we usually do, so we ditched our usual plans for fun and frivolity and instead headed to the You Yangs. It began as a pretty miserable day but by the end of our journey the sun was out and doing its job quite nicely. The miserable day also meant only the truly insane muggles were out on their bikes, which made for much easier searches, lol. Manzie is usually ready to head home after around 10 finds, however I didn't really hear him complain until the last couple of caches, so you must have done something right ThePacman, lol
Glad I solved this one before heading out, it's not easy doing this sort of thing in the car ... took me two goes to get the required results

Must have had the wrong number, we aren't very good mind readers.
Better luck next time.
Better luck next time.
Found with Bazinga01 and Posho6. It took a few go's before we got the right cords for this cache than we walking around it about 4 times before someone said is that it. Another clever camo cache.
After getting the Letterbox, we were determined to get the Puzzle towards the end of this series.
Today was a beautiful sunny day. With Geokid doing some film making in the You Yangs we thought we'd grab a cache or 2. We were joined by Arkbell80 and his Geofamily also and we were able to get some cache types we had never attempted before.
TFTC and the series. We'll come back soon to get the rest.

About now we are starting to wonder.... Have we set a new personal record? 23 in a day, thats got to be a record for us. This one was actually found by accident. Geo wife kicked something that did not respond quite normally..... I reckon I am a DNF on this, but the log got signed so
This one was a little tricky, good thing it was easy math as I can't do hard. Not sure if we guessed the same but I was close enough to spot it quickly. Fave point.
Found with much appreciation.
Please see extended comments at YYCD #1 which reflect the entire series.
Seems the CO really is a mind reader haha
The most amazing thing happened at calculated GZ - I couldn't believe the realistic detail of the hide. That was until geokid reached for the treasure and the hide's 'detail' scurried off into the bush. Definite highlight!

Day 4 Geelong
Today we headed out to the You Yangs Regional Park to do the YYCD Series.
This would have been one of the best trails we have done. Some spectacular scenery.
A variety of cache types & some ingenous cammo. They all blended in with their natural surrounds.
I'm glad I have a number of favourite points that I can use, as all deserve one.
Thanks for placing this cache ThePacman
