Great event and so well surported on such a lovely day hope you had a enjoyable birthday Stuart you looked pretty happy, so nice to see so many happy faces didn't get around to chatting to too many people as was a bit jadded from working night shift, still worked out well for another badge and a chance to talk to the ones I managed to catch up with.... It was very thoughtful of you Stuart - to allow us all to get souvenirs as presents just by our presence at your birthday event. Really liked the name as well. We also hope the paintballing went as well as the event did. A great attendance - and Mrs SoBad has a hoarse throat because she talked so much. Nice for us both to catch up with the usual crew - and meet the new team. Nice to see Juicy Fruits and Gracie and Mum again - a well timed birthday for them as well.

Thank you for a great event Stuart, and a very happy birthday too. It was great to see so many there and to catch up with everyone.

Firstly, happy birthday Stuart and thanks for organising a great event so we could attend our first event and meet up with a few local geocaching dignitaries: SoBad, K_E, Isis58, HunterxHunters, SideWaze, Gracie's Mum and one or two others whose names I will remember.

Did not get to catch up with and thank The Lord High Cache God, AKA Kiwi-Nomad but hopefully next time.

To all the local Nelson Geocachers who have made our first few months of geocaching the fantastic time it has been, we thank you and hope to be able to start giving something back over the coming months and years!

Happy Birthday Flying Phoenix - what a great birthday bash! I'm still trying to get to celebrate your 10th one and I think it's going to be a while yet before i can make the return visit. What a great way to spend a Sunday morning; coffee, a yummy banoffi pie and lots of geochat in brilliant sunshine. Then to top it, to put a few hints gleaned into action and find a couple of elusive caches during the afternoon . Nice to meet some new people as well as well as the regulars.
Many thanks for letting us share in your birthday and I hope you enjoyed the event as much as I did.

Happy Birthday Stuart! - - - and thank you for sharing it with us! - - - and ensuring that we all got our event souvenir. It was great to catch up with everyone and meet others whose names have been appearing in logs. It's always good to reminisce about caching adventures and catch up with what everyone has been up to.

Great event, amazing turn out thank you all so much for coming. It was really great to see everyone i was really well filled up for paintball later in the day.

Nice one! Perfect weather for this event. What a great turn out too. I'm sure the souvenirs enticed a few people out today. FP really appreciated everyone coming and the effort that the venue made in making him welcome on his birthday (working there part time has its perks). As always it was very cool to be able to catch up with cachers regular and new. This completes my souvenir efforts for August so back to 'normal' caching for now. TFTE, Biggles.

PS. Paintball with Stu and his friends later in the day was a blast too. Our team came off well and I didn't end up with too many bruises either.

My apologies Stewart, I will not be able to attend your first Event and birthday bash, but wish you a Happy Birthday and the others all the best for a great day. Very sadly I will be in Motueka for golf and so must miss the only opportunity so far presented for an Event cache for August. I have my fingers crossed for another one popping up (as long as its not the 24th August - golf again!).

Three of us will go with either the mot hunter or chuxtar24 so we will look toward to meeting you all.

I was set a target by my brother to make your event my 5000th cache so after the weekend caching down the coast that is now going to happen.
