Out and about again, been waiting for IGD for a while and coming to a town I have a lot of connection with. Nice to explore the area with fellow cachers and the beautiful surroundings.This cache is find number - 16115.Thanks to GeoJake21 for the caches I have found.

IGD Toodyay 2024

Out and about in the wheat belt for IGD weekend. A beautiful drive with the wildflowers out and Canola blooming. All good here.Some logs signed as N20 This is my 13928 find Thankyou GeoJake21for placing and maintaining this cache for others to find .

The Better Half and I planned a trip out to Toodyay today to do as many caches that we could in the area however due to medical instructions for me there was no walking was allowed so it was only those caches that we could park nearby that could be attempted today.All caches attempted were found without problems. Logs signed and the caches returned as they were found.Thanks GeoJake21 for placing this cache for other cachers to find.

We found the cache but had to replace it as it was broken from the UV. The new one should last a few years. Coordinates and clue were both good.

This cache seemed to be long gone so I left a replacement to continue to attract people to this crazy site. Thanks.

Overnighting in Toodyay, my first time here Arrived earlier in the day and pitched the tent and unloaded the basics. Plan now is to pick up the caches around town, then head back to camp for a well earned vino and cook dinner Tomorrow take a long walk along the Avon River picking the various caches up along there from my campsite to the cemetery. This was one on my walk / drive this afternoon and certainly put a smile on my face. Saw the sad car as I drove around the corner...bogged is an understatement! The cache however was fine - I pulled over and headed straight down to make a nice simple find All ok here - TFTC

Found it. TFTC GeoJake21. Came up to Toodyay to try to clear these green dots.

Log was wet but just left in sun for few minutes and dried enough to write on! Car definitely not going anywhere!!

We saw the cache as we approached. Log and container o'ring is in need of replacement. TFTC!

After exploring the Westcoast of WA we finally made it to Avon Valley. We will spend here the last 3 days of our Hollyday in Australia. Today we explored the beautiful village of York and Toodyay! We have an hotel room in York so exploring the village of York is not that hard! Tomorrow we drive to the NP of Avon Valley. Next day after we take the very long flight back to Belgium! We logged a lot of caches today! Thanks to all the co's for placing their caches!

We decided to spend the day caching in Toodyay. It is many years since we have been here.We are also LGA gathering. It is a rewarding experience. This was a bit out of the way but a nice cache. TFTC

Day 16 of our Adventure to the northern Goldfields and now in the Wheatbelt. Today we said goodbye to our neigh-bours on the farm at Wyalkatchem and are now in Toodyay.
Hoped the grasshoppers were the only fauna as I made my way to GZ for a quick find. TFTC!

Well it’s now day 16 of our LGA gathering plus just basic enjoyment trip with m4yb, Jonathan the camper trailer and Max the GeoUte.
Thankfully no Joe Blake’s today and a well spotted hide by her. Bit tricky getting the log out, but all good.

Was in Perth (and Rockingham for the WAGB event) for a few days. Had today to myself and decided to go for a drive to Toodyay. Loaded up the GPS with the caches along the way and set off.

Quick find after having to go backwards down the incline and slowing myself with the tree. Damn dodgy knee. Thankfully going up is easier.

Having a rare midweek day off I accompanied Blingg on a trip to Toodyay on a maintenance trip and while in town decide to complete the caches in the area. easy find on this one managed to find a space on the full log for our names

Headed northeast today with the Jackylegs44 team to try our luck with some of the caches out this way. Didn't bode well for us when we stopped off just down the road and had to dnf the first the first one we tried for. Happy to report that we managed to find this one quickly enough before retreating back into the airconditioned car and heading off to the next one. The day just got warmer and warmer after this and we eventually conceded defeat when the temperature hit 43.5 degrees - not as many smileys as we had hoped for, but only two dnf's, so not a bad day after all. We got to the spot but due to the really hot weather we decided against going too much closer - cautious about snakes. We will be back one day to actually find and sign the cache. Poor little car all left by itself. Thanks for bringing us out here anyway!

With a kid free weekend and after yesterday adventures today's plan was to tackle some more car orientated adventures with the julimar wander the main target

Is it really a bogged car or just half a car? In any case, it has been there for a very long time. Found quickly with the Fabulous Panda. TFTC

Had to drive around for a while with this one just trying to get to the area. My Nuvi thinks Nottingham road goes right through, but it doesn't, so I had to drive around to get to Retford road, then I could park about 20 metres away. The cache was quickly found and I signed the log. Without geocaching I probably would have never come here to see this old bogged car, so thanks for bringing me here and for placing this cache for us all to find and enjoy.

Out for a morning run or should I say climb up a huge hill, there seems to be a few of these around Toodyay. Didn't take too long to locate once at GZ thanks to the hint.

** I would suggest using Retford Rd to get to the cache. We came via town side on Nottingham Rd (thanks to Nuvi) but a section has a No Entry, Emergency 4WD vehicles only, Nottingham via Retford is ok

Yay... Our no 1111 while we were here for a wedding. TFTC it's a nice place

Started to be worried as thought had to go into someone's property then walked for a bit and was able to breath a sigh of relief no need to climb the fence. TFTC

went for a bit of a random drive to Toodyay late in the afternoon. we had a 1/2 success rate today. The kids loved seeing this car and as we found it on dusk they also liked seeing the big boomers in the paddock. Tftc.

Luckily a quick find while in Toodyay for lunch just before today's rogain just outside of town. TFTC.

Spending a few days in Toodyay, exploring the area this was our first cache of the day after first running some errands in town We were a bit hesitant to head up the hill as there were signs saying emergency access only, but of course there was a cache to be found & we continued on Once close to GZ, the kids were very excited by the old car as were us adults who breathed a sign of relief to not have to search there!

Cache was found quickly as I spotted it shining from the car so Jase hopped out to add our names to the log... TFTC GeoJake21 We then continued along the road & made our way back into town along the correct road... Cheers!
