Good Day,
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Looking forward to hearing from you,

Have looked for this a couple of times in the past with no luck. This time came with a hint from a previous finder but still couldn’t find it
I realise that this is a D3 but there have been a fair number of DNFs now. Can the owner please confirm whether the cache is in place
Looking, looking, looking, but not with confidence as it’s not been sighted since April
Even with help from a Mexican cave diver we failed to locate the cache. A tip from a previous finder suggests we were searching at the wrong altitude.

Has a really good look around here, saw no glimmer or cache sadly. Will keep on the watch list, hopefully it is there
The fourth cache today and not successful. Perhaps three will have to be the charm today. The phone's gps was all over the place but from reading the clues, narrowed it down to three likely trees (none with kookaburras today though). Found nice sitting spots but no cache. Couldn't figure out the hint beyond the type of container we were looking for. Mr & Master Warrior gave up after 10 mins, Grandpa and Mrs Warrior persisted but to no avail
Out and about for some bush bashing, targeting the Gap Creek Reserve area to cash in on some nearby solved puzzles that have been sitting there just waiting to be collected. First time to this spot and what a popular spot Sunday at 6:30am. All the picnic area car parks were taken so had to park across the road.
Approaching ground zero had to look indiscrete with the constant flow of mountain bike riders and bush walkers passing the spot. Checked a few spots when a flash of glitter caught the eye and the cache was found. TFTC Jazzh4nds.

Great walk on a Sunday afternoon to finish with this good find.
Replaced as we found it.
Replaced as we found it.
I am pleased that I found this one. First, I thought it was gone as it seemed that some back burning was done in the area quite recently. Once I found it I was surprised that it was still there as the container has zero camo of its own. It had plenty of natural camo though as stated in the previous log. Put it back as I found it. TFTC
After being muggled out the other day, i returned today and was relieved to find no sporting activities.
Seeing that this cache has a few dnf's, i didn't hold high hopes of finding it. And it has been a few months since the last find.
Searched in all the likely spots for about 20 minutes with no luck. I had another cache on my list for today nearby so i went to that one for a break.
Upon returning i was more determined than ever to turn this into a smilie.
Widening my search area, i still had no luck.
I put my backpack down and spotted a small glimmer in an area i hadn't searched. Sure enough, there it is.
The camoflague that i found it in has deteriorated. After adding my name to the log, i replaced where and how i found it, with some extra cover.
So glad to have this one marked off my list.

There appears to be some sort of school sporting event happening here today. Muggles kids everywhere. Shall return some other time
I still needed a good walk today, so stopped off to pick up a few caches at Mt Coot-tha. I wandered across to GZ and began searching. My phone first put me in one spot, then another and then another! Into the pocket it went. There are a few likely hiding places around here, so I began a methodical search. It wanst long before I located the cache, hidden beneath natural cover but with no camo. I signed the log and returned the cache to where I found it before heading off to the next one. TFTC
Couldn't find it... I must have ridden past here dozens of times in my life. Only just started caching and so probably missed something obvious... Ooh well I'll come back another day.
Will go check this one on the weekend. If camo is missing I'm going to be very disappointed with whoever did it, this was the last cache my friend and I placed together before he took his own life, and it was his favourite.
I was actually reading to another cache but the GPS had taken me close to this one so I decided to find it while I was in the area.
I have been here a couple of times not to find caches and I always enjoy the sounds of the bell birds.
I headed across the field to the search area and then started searching for a camouflaged cache but couldn't locate it after 15 minutes of wandering around so I made a PAF call
I was directed to where they had found it and I dug around a bit and located the container. I'm not sure if the hide is the same as it was originally as it had no camo on it at all and was just covered with some natural cover.
TFTC. Good to come back to this magic place.

Have never been out here before today. It's crawling with mountain bikes. Luckily being later in the day most were heading home.
I love the effort gone into this one. But we did spy the clever hide quickly.
Thanks for bringing us here.

Find number 3 today with Nikid1 and my geodaughter.
Very clever hide close to the start of the trail.
This is a great area that I hadn't been to before.

For Father's Day this is where we're headed, to do a bit of mountain biking and a bbq lunch.
After checking for caches in the area this one was nice and close so we headed up the hill to gz.
A nice quick find and we were ready to ride.

Found with stairman1 while out and about today. This is a busy little area. All good here.
Wow, I couldn't believe how many people there were here, I was expecting to be in a quiet bushland area.
I managed to spot the cache fairly quickly and sat down to wait for a couple of young muggles to pass on by before I made the grab and pretended to use my phone while I signed the log. Another quick look around and a stealthy replacing of the cache and I was away.

I first DNFed this one about a year ago just after I had started caching. At that time I still thought a bison was a kind of buffalo and a muggle was something out of Harry Potter. Now, with a few more finds in my count and a better idea of what to look for, this one was much easier to locate. TFTC
After hiking around to all of the neighbouring caches Tdimdad and I finished off our trip with this one.
We had thought that it was a little further in then it actually was so we over shot it but only by less then 50m. When we realised we walked back and Tdimdad over shot it again! I however managed to walk right up to it! Actually I walked up to a point and was poking around as I ate my snack and accidentally spotted it. Fancy that! I called him back and got him to retrieve it while I finished my snack. TFTC!

We had been grabbing the local caches with Sezzz this morning and this was the last one in the area.
My smartiephone compass played up a little first and we overshot this some 20 - 30 m. On return the compass didn't settle nicely but kept consistently pointing 7 - 8 m away, regardless where I went.
In the meantime Sezzz had taken a slower approach and found the container like she'd known where it was.
A cool implementation, worth a fave point. All good here. TFTC, Jazzh4nds!

Out caching with angloj and Eskies5 - we had an early start and a list to get through. This one wasn't on the list but just to close to past. Happy to have a quick find with Eskies5 laying her hands straight on it. TFTC Jazzh4hands
Well this one wasn't on our list today...we came specifically to the area to grab a final cache to complete a challenge. But I was told this was about 50m from our return route so we thought it was too close to ignore. Was a bit nervous this would take a while...time we did not have...but thankfully I had done a similarly constructed cache recently and made a good guess as to its location. Thanks Jazzh4nds.
An early morning start from Toowoomba with kestal and Eskies5. Easy find by Eskies5 with crazy people on bikes flying past us!
Out for a bit of an explore around this area today. Must admit i was a little worried about the sign warning about the planned burns around this area. Any time between April and September. Hopefully not today, seems a bit windy anyway.
Once at GZ i was surprised how quickly i actually found this one. It's a great little hide. Maybe my caching sense is improving.
Thanks for this one Jazzh4nds, cache in good condition.

I am on my way to a geocaching event tonight.
But as I was driving past I thought I could grab this one with no one around.
A quick find.
Thanks for the cache.

This had eluded us for a while and the family did look conspicuous loitering at GZ but this find has been truly satisfying TFTC
A rush to write in the log before the Mt biking group in the distance starts to move. TFTC
Found with JaffaJ and geokid. Just as well it's well disguised in a Muggle busy area. TFTC
Well this one took some time to track down, not helped by the steady stream of mountain bikers enjoying the trails. Eventually Gunnei69 spotted the container and we had our names in the book!
Found while out and about helping Gunnie69 to get to his 7000th cache.
Thanks Jazzh4nds for the cache.

Ghostgums and I were not sure what to expect at GZ and we missed the container a couple of times before stumbling on the prize... Naturally, after missing it, we widened the search and were never going to find it when we were focussing... Oops...
When we stopped and thought about it, we figured it had to be something "like that" and when we shifted our direction, I soon spotted the container tucked very neatly into its lair... Err, yep, that's nicely done... [^]
Log out, I added our names and tucked everything back. Luckily, the small family in the nearby shelter were too busy working on their lunch to worry about a couple of guys hovering at the start of the trail...
Cheers jazzh4nds.

Huzzah! We expected some difficulty but once the geo senses kicked in we soon had this one in hand.
We came out this way to find a cache by an elusive U named CO. We took the time to dodge mountain bikers on this popular trail and find this cache
A very clever hide and a good one to find. TFTC. Recovered and returned.

I remember this spot well
A few years back I got a bit carried away on me Mountain Bike while riding from The Gap to Kenmore and completely forgot about the sudden, steep descent on the final roll out to this delightful parkland.
Scared meself silly as I careened out of control down the last 150 metres, over the jumps and onto the vast expanse of grass
That last turn to the right, and associated jump, almost got me, but I survived
No adrenaline involved in today's cache find [^]
I walked over from the carpark.

What a fantastic cache, congrats. Was out with tg and while looking at gz stumbled onto it. Had no pen so didn't sign. Well done.
Loved this one! Once my GPS stopped bouncing around I found the cache nearly straight away - BY ACCIDENT!!! There was absolutely no skill involved (I'd like to say there was but it was pure luck), just happened to put my hand on the right spot. Can't wait to come back for the other caches near here - it's a great place for a family picnic. Billy the geopooch also enjoyed his visit. TFTC!
After reading through previous logs, I had a fair idea of what we were looking for. As there was a plethora of potential camos, there was nothing left to do but trust the coordinates. Bingo. Clever hide. TFTC A favourite point from us
Some caches can be hard, and sometimes after several searches you start to doubt yourself and start making the cache harder to find. This was my problem here, I starting over-thinking it so much that it's unfound status was becoming a source of anxiety [xx(].
But I was certainly not going to let it beat me. Today I had a bit of confidence and soon enough I found the cache . A well done camo
On finding it, I don;t know why it worried me so, it was just a case of looking. Now if only I can remember this the next time I have another nemesis cache.
Thanks

What a great location. Stopped to use the nearby amenities and had a chat to a MTBer who enjoyed telling us to head out to enogerra reservoir for a nice day out. A quick look at the map told us where to go and we were closer than we thought. Previous logs had us worried but the hint was very helpful and we had the cache in hand quickly. A sneaky lil hide it is. TFTC
We had lots of plans to do some walking over the holidays but today was only the second outing in several weeks. We opted to walk down from Bielby Rd which was very pleasant in the cool of the evening. On arriving at the oval we were happy to see very few people around. At this point the batteries in the GPSr ran out - and the spares were also found to be flat. Resorted to the phone which took us to GZ. Mrs CF spotted the hide in about 30 seconds - she seems to be very good at these! Shortly thereafter we'd added our name to the log book and then continued on our way. Thanks to Jazzh4nds for the well concealed hide.
After blasting down Rocket Frog it was just a quick dash across the grass to this one. There were a few people over the far side near the shelter and the car park was filling quickly.
There was a constant stream of riders going by and those going up hill all wanted to stop and check if I was OK. Annoying helpful bikers.
I had a bit of a scout around and did not find anything. I checked the hint, but that was no use at all and the cache name just lead me astray really.
With the amount of people around I decided to get some help with the find. My PAF confirmed that I had narrowed GZ down correctly and that was enough to find the well crafted cache.

I set a nice precedent with the Mt Cootha Resting series of enjoying a cathartic walk in the morning using the waypoints as the destination. I continued this practice with this cache yesterday. And the weather was perfect for it.
I parked up at the top of the Mountain near Channel 9. I had two choices from this spot to walk down. I chose the Bellbird track but that may not have been the most efficient option. I took it slow and careful on the way down trying not to strain my knee. It was surprising the number of people using the track for thier morning walk.
At the bottom of the hill I was amongst familiar teritory. Maknig away around to GZ the percentages changed; more bike riders and less walkers. I got across the park area safely (without being struck by cyclists) and then I was at GZ.
It took me a while to search around but then my eyes locked on something perfectly in place. Ahhh so that is the type of hide is it? I picked it up and marvelled at the creation. Very well done Jazzh4nds. Congratulations on a well crafted cache!

Well done Jazzh4nds, a truly clever hide.
I arrived at GZ with trepidation, knowing that others with greater caching skills than I had struggled. I wondered how I would go...
Arriving at GZ in a business suit just looked so odd amidst all the hyper fit athletes coming and going, but I know I looked completely natural to them! A sI approached the hide a muggle that had been sitting right there took off running up the hill leaving me to my searching. Others cam sand went around me and each time I looked so innocent....
It took a while for the moment of knowing what I think I should be looking for, and then a whole lot of other moments until I found it. But find it I did.
Thanks again. good hide.

After a long bushwalk yesterday, passing two caches on the way that I forgot to look at beforehand, today was designed to be an easier amble. Hence this one near the carpark. And it wasn't just a walk in the park! Spent quite a few minutes searching, then read the logs, and had an AHA! moment. Found the little treasure, signed the log, and departed. TFTC.
Out with IolantheK who was trying to build her numbers to before a milestone weekend that was coming up. I came along to transport and assist where possible [^]
Caching today in the heat wasn't easy and this nearly drove me and IolantheK spare the night it was published
Today I dropped by and made the find myself. Great hide and clever camo [^]

We looked here, we looked there, we looked just about everywhere. I told geowife if we don't find it in 4 minutes we'll stop looking. 2 minutes later we had it. Sneaky! Tftgc.
I got pretty lucky here and made a quick find, but I fully understand how this could have been a much longer search.
I am on a crazy steps challenge at work. The aim being to take a silly number of steps before Christmas. As I write (about four weeks in) I am on about 330,000 and Onodrim added a few as I came in from the Beilby Road entrance.
I know area near GZ pretty well (I'm not a MTB rider but I have walked the tracks about here quite a bit). So it was a familiar walk to GZ and after the phone settled on a likely spot I started scouting about when all of a sudden something I didn't expect went like that and I was holding the cache. Nice.
I was pleased to sign up for this one so quickly. It's a nice little hide, worth a fav point but you will have to wait until I catch up with all my logging!
Thanks JazzHands!

Out with lisylou and mnance101 and jemalucy and misssussan79. We searched high and low for this one we nearly gave up when misssussan79 came up with the goods it's definitely not where I would of looked according to the terrain rating for this one we were relieved this one was found
Found with Lisylou, BennyBoppers, Jemalucy and MNance101. Took a while but I was glad to make the find!
Out with misssusan, bennyboppers, mnance101 and jemalucy for the day, we were on our way back home from caching out on mt Nebo rd and I happened to notice this one was a new one here, shall we grab yes we shall so we quickly pulled into the carpark and made a quick walk to gz. Well I thought this was going to be a quick find but I didn't see the difficulty level was a little high and yes we searched high and low for quite a bit. Time was running short as we kids to collect for school and we almost gave up just when misssusan grabbed something and the camo came away and revealed the cache. Thank goodness for that, no time to waste, quick sign and back to the car. Tftc.
Out caching with Misssusan, Lisylou, jemalucy, and Bennyboppers. We searched for quite a while and was about to give up when Misssusan found it. Very well camouflaged! I think we were lucky to find it first go. Our coords had us going to a slightly different spot. TFTC!
Searched high and low for this one. Very well camoflaged and cleverly hidden. Glad I had my caching buddies with me.
Finally found on my 3rd search. Plus lots of help. But I would never have got without so thanks. Great hide, very innovative.
There are signs to it for sure. But it's a tricky one spot without some inside knowledge.
Have fun!

Well that was a frustrating experience. Very good hide so I may just have to obtain a clue.
Spent a long time looking with no luck. Read the previous logs and followed all the suggestions. When the kookaburra landed on the branch overhead we were sure we were on the right track so we talked to the kookaburra and took his photo and hoped he might let us in on the secret. He only laughed at us instead. What must he think of all these humans standing around under his branch?
Just like the one at the top it would seem I may also be the FTR the trail and find this cache. Just like Rocket Frog I have actually ridden past this one at least once before but those MTB riders just will not stop whether going up or down. http://connect.garmin.com/course/7471254
After a cruise down Rocket Frog I rolled over to seek out this cache. There was a group in the nearby shed so I only had a little look first up. With nothing jumping out at me I rolled over to the shed to make a coffee and have a snack and talk MTB with the muggle bike riders.
Once the crowd had resumed their intended activities I was able to resume my search. Nice hide and a little challenge.

Time for a happy dance! Wahoo! I finally found it
Today I decided to take the 'scenic route' home from the city and give this one another go. This time my phone was able to zero in a lot better, and I actually got a reading of 1m [^] Okay, so lots of feeling and poking and staring happened, and yet again I was scratching my head in despair, when a young kookaburra landed just above my head. It seemed to enjoy my company, and we had a chat for a minute and I got some cute photos, and then I just happened to look in the right spot and made the find!!! Reckon the bird was my lucky charm.
A great container here, and it sure is hard to spy out. A favourite point from me. TFTC, Jazzh4nds.
Another visit with no success This one looks like it'll end up being a nemesis [}:(]
Wow this one is a toughie. I don't think I could have found it in the dark afterall on the day it was published. Definitely one you would need to find in the day.
After a message from the CO, and the new co-ords in place, I knew where to look - but even that too time and again it was getting dark this evening and had to resort to PAF - I did not want to be there after dark on my own.
Just need a very keen eye to spot this one. Very clever work here! TFTC Jazzhands

Yay! *FTF* @11.45am. Headed out this morning to find some caches and decided to try this one first. Surely someone has found it by now as it takes me at least an hour to get there. Pulled up nearby and headed in. I had the newly revised coordinates which I checked before coming out. I was soon at GZ and started a search. I kept shaking my head. Not there or there. But wait what is this? A cache. Nice hide. Opened up the log and there was no one in the FTF spot. Added my name to the top of the blank list.
And to think, I first met the CO at the top of the hill near this cache.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks Jazzh4nds All good with this cache
A favourite from me

T-Tech and I spent 40 minutes at GZ searching tonight and came up empty-handed We had 2 phones with the official geocaching.com app and a Garmin GPS device, and all had us in an open section of the field that was 20 metres from any form of hide. Of course we searched the ground all around GZ and every stick and rock within 5 metres, plus all the trees nearby, and some of the shelter. No sign of a cache. It must be a very sneaky hide indeed!!!
Now that I'm writing my log I'm pleased to see the CO is going to have a check. I'll keep the cache on watch.

I spent 30mins out in the cold to try for my first ever FTF, but the co ords are in the middle of a field. Stretched out further afield with the torch and full moon, but no avail. Will have to come back in daylight.
Coords shouldn't be putting you in the middle, I had two of us check these ones with two different apps and a GPS device, it's showing correctly on my map, this one might be a bit tricky
Agree with Nurseyjulie.
Co-Ords 20m from BBQ shelter, 20m to the north short of tree line.

Hmmm...
Will go check it out in the morning - they should be good but who knows, there's a lot of trees in the area

2TF at 13.15. We are trying to live in a house under renovation at present, and between those difficulties and the cold last night, I opted not to go out.
Today there were still no logs at lunchtime so I went for a quick drive to a familiar area and had a look. I went here and there, looked up and down, and finally after ten minutes or so, managed to find something out of place at last. Tricky one: I would hate to be looking for this at night! Congrats to the FTF team and well done on your construction here, Jazzh4nds: nice work!
