This needs to be looked at by CO as work has been done here to the picnic area and is taped off with caution tape.
Think this one might need disabled for now until work has been completed, most of the stumps have been taken out to make way for new picnic area.
Joining the long list of DNFs. Did a thorough search near and far. Should be a nice picnic area once they finish the work.
Its definitely not there - a lot of work has taken place with concrete slabs being laid and the site has been levelled out. We were certainly stumped on this one, perhaps the co could check it out and replace it.
[Blue] This one unfortunately appears to be missing with the stump having nothing in it except the rocks that were most likely used to cover the cache. Nice views over Coffs from here though. Thanks klr kenny
Dropped by the lookout on our way to Sawtell but didn't have much luck finding the cache.
I looked in the obvious spot and there appeared to be some rocks out on the ground that may have been covering the cache. I widened my search but had no luck in the other spots either.
Possibly just a case of cache-blindness after a long drive.
Thanks for the hunt. Great spot to visit and check out the views.

Quick found after enjoying the amazing view from up here to the ocean. Picnic would have been a good idea, but we were unprepared. Thanks for hiding the cache.
The second day on the road for Selva Girls and I as we continue making our way home to Brisbane from Gosford after attending the Melbourne mega.
We had a list of caches we wanted to collect along the way and this was one of two we wanted here as they were just outside Coffs Harbour where we stayed last night.
When we got here I realised I'd actually come to this lookout back in February but I was with family who refused to go walking in the bush for some crazy reason which meant I couldn't go for the other one nearby. Somehow I didn't even see this one on the map.
This time we went looking for it and it was a quick and easy find. Amazed that this one hasn't been muggled as it's in the middle of a picnic area.

Thought I had logged this on mobile Geocache app. but apparently not updated correctly at the time.
Breathtaking scenic view and quick and easy cache worth a detour off the highway.

Very cool lookout and worth the trip up. Also watch the views in between the houses along them top of the ridge line as you are heading there. Early on it gives you a different view of the coast line. TFTC.
Thanks we found it,plus there was no room in the log book so we write our names on a peice of,paper and put it in
Find No: 4645. Visiting from Newcastle, too cold there, better here! Good to see some new caches and cachers in the area, thanks for the cache klr kenny!!

It was late when we came to the turnoff for this cache. We needed to keep going to get home at a reasonable hour . . . . . . so we turned up to the lookout. The call of the cache! And crossing the Pacific Highway isn't as easy as it sounds. Bet the people living up that road can't wait for the Pacific Highway bypass. Fantastic views, well worth the nerve racking crossing of the highway to get there. TFTC klr kenny.
Found during my first roadtrip to the Gold Coast and Brisbane. The original intention was to go run the Gold Coast marathon, but that was soon changed en-route - it became a 2-week 5000km geocaching roadtrip !
Now heading back south homewardbound I took a decent break here.
After admiring the views I enjoyed the short walk to GZ where the cache was easily found.
Thanks for the cache, klr kenny, and for providing an extra incentive to stop here.

Finally got a chance to search for this one...have visited a couple of times but gz was busy...nice placement...thanks klr kenny
I took the detour to this great lookout again today
The views are just as amazing as I remember them [^]
And hanging over the railings of the cantilevered lookout structure just as much fun
Down in the picinic area the cache was an easy find with all the muggles distracted by the views

Love coming here every time we visit Coffs just to enjoy the scenery. Now we can grab a cache or two as well as the view.
Thanks kir kenny for the cache.

Last day in Coffs Harbour. In the morning I took a Harley Davidson tour with Laarz from A1 Coffs Coast Tours (highly recommended) and we stopped briefly at the lookout here. So in the afternoon the whole family came here to enjoy the stunning views. I checked if there were any geocaches here and sure enough there were a couple close by. So geokids and I walked to the picnic area and found the well camouflaged cache quickly. No muggles around so log signed at table and cache replaced as found. Thank you for placing this cache in this interesting area. TNLNSL TFTC.
Hard to find the right moment to grab this one with a muggle family having a picnic at GZ. TFTC
No worries finding this one, although just as we sat at the picnic table to fill out the log, down came a bunch of muggles, and we had to sit nonchalantly talking to each other until they finally left and we could safely return gc to its spot. Ensured that it was camouflaged well. TNLN. You know, I've been up here to the lookout several times now, but never thought to wander down to the picnic area. Must come back someday for a real picnic.
I found this cache while visiting Australia from New Zealand. After spending a few days in Stanthorpe for the Mega Event, today Yorkshirekiwi83 and I travelled in tandem in our campers to Coffs Harbour and found a few caches along the way. A quick cache find here near this lovely lookout. TFTC!

Vistra and I were travelling from the Stanthorpe Queensland Mega to Coffs Harbour and were picking up some caches along the way, mainly focusing on high rated ones but also on any that were at pit stops or just because we heard or spotted something cool about the cache.
After dicing with the leeches we were not overly keen on entering that kind of location again, so made a super quick find and made our way back to the car, had to double check but we were confident this time we hadnt encountered any. Nope we were all good. now make our way back doen the hill. TFTC

Up in the area visiting my parents on the way to the mega, I was also throwing in a little bit of work with a line of sight check to the Sealy Lookout towers which are actually a bit north of the lookout. So after checking the view from the customer end I decided to drive up here and look back the other way. Not promising I must say.
So after grabbing the nearby GCA cache I came down here to make a quick find, no picnickers on a Monday. Cache was actually reasonably exposed so covered it over a bit better after doing the signing duties. Thanks klr kenny.

Last day in Coffs Harbour and 1st cache I've sought and found. Came up here at night. It was awesome but stormy and cloudy today.

Enjoying the cooler mountain air while the coast cooks. Nearby a bird was trying to scare off a lizard halfway up a tree. No muggles in this quiet spot for an easy find.
