# 7422 Staying in Huskisson for an extended weekend. The weather hasn't been great, but there have been periods when it has been ok. Today I was flying solo, so I headed up to Culburra beach. Some great locations and interesting caches.
Took a while to find. Not sure why, it didn't seem too hard.
Thanks cullum68

After a visit to the beach everyone else was keen for a snooze - perfect opportunity for some caches and with the sun out a few butterflies. Headed to Callala and had some luck with both. This was the first and it was a quick park and grab. Fresh log was signed and then on my way.

09/12/2020 -- DNF -- As Arnie says "I'll be back."
Flying blind I missed this one and so made a u-turn and came back. I pulled up near GZ to look for the cache only to have two trucks pull up and park. Next thing the occupants were standing in the driveway yakking about a lunch break. Oh great ! They were in no hurry to eat as they kept yakking. There was no way I could search now. I packed myself up and headed off.

I've disabled this one until I can replace damaged container. Should be back up and running soon

I drove past this one earlier in the day but road workers were too close to GZ for me to search. Came back later before returning to Nowra and soon found the cache. Thanks.

The cache has lost its lid and there was water in the container. As a result, the log was wet. This one needs a maintenance visit by the CO where I suggest a new cache container and log be put in place.
Was out on a wet and windy afternoon with caching buddy gredta. We were keen to clean out all the hides in the immediate area of Culburra, having been here 12 months ago and again this weekend. A mini-bender of 5 caches this arvo, after 3 earlier this morning. This was the last of 8 today. A quick stop and grab after having made the find in town earlier in the afternoon. Thanks again cullum68! The cache container is starting to show the effects of the salt laden air......

Cache was located very quickly upon arrival. Interesting place for a cache.

Having found the Culburra entry in this series a few minutes earlier I had no trouble with this one. Certainly a novel theme for a series, and nice that the council is happy to have them. What on earth is that thing with all the padlocks on it?
TFTC; Quick find. Found while on a camping trip at Jervis Bay with Geo-sister *Abeelen81*.
With traffic non-stop it made retrieving and replacing this cache rather tricky. Kutgw
OCW EverestHigh and MaxAdventurer on a trip south. Yes, just like the others. Found as the sun was setting. TFTC
It only stinks when you can't find an easy cache. All Sweet today! TFTC cullum68
Another day clearing out a chunk on the map. Today we hit the Currambene State Forest, Crookhaven, Orient Point, Culburra, Mayfield, Greenwell Point and Worrigee, before heading to Wollongong for dinner and the new caches near Lake Illawarra. It was unreal - 30 finds in 6.5hrs, with 0 DNF's - an awesome effort to clear a significant section of the map! Thanks to the Cache Owners for maintaining the caches that I visited today.

While arrow settled, eyes scanned the area and spotted the quick find without guidance.
Spending some time in Culburra Beach with the geofamily. Better do some caching as well. TNLNSL TFTC
The caching list for today involved a random selection of caches around the towns of Greenwell Point, Culburra, Callala, Callala Beach and Currarong. All were found to be in good order and each log had our name added before being returned to its proper place. This also was an easy cache to find and we were soon on the move again. Thanks to cullum68 for another smiley on our caching map.
Out for the day with WEEO. Mr S was still talking tired so Mrs S and WEEO made the find. Took a bit longer than it should have.
Thanks cullum68

First for the day and the forth that we have done in this series.
As with the previous STP finds this one was in excellent condition.
Two things interested us at this site. Firstly the lock set up on the gate and the horseshoes on either side of the entrance.
Thanks.

Found this one last year and finally remembered to log it while on another geocation with StumbleTrip. Tftc
Grateful for a gap in the rain so I could dash across and grab this one. Cache in great condition. Thanks!
Found on our trip to Currarong. It was very very VERY hot in NSW today, however we still decided to do a couple of caches around the area. Once we parked next to GZ, the cache was found after a short search. Nicely hidden and a good use of colours. TFTC cullum68!
Nice idea for a hide. I learned a new trick I'll have to put to use myself sometime.
Again nicely done - FP !

Quick find here. Not as much traffic as anticipated on the last weekend of the school holidays but plenty enough. TFTC.
Nice park and grab, cache lid is broken and bit of water inside, cleaned out tftc
The weekend had arrived so fitzy_1965 and I decided to head off on a coastal geomission to nab a whole bunch of caches-the drawcard being going for the wander to nab the Abrahams Bosom Reserve series and whatever else we could grab!
Quick grab then off for more!
Thanks for the hide, cullum68

11125. Found during a weekend run down to the coast with specimenX.
After an epic Day 1 of our coast run mainly walking around "Abrahams Bosom" Reserve yesterday, today specimenX and I started early and refreshed for another big day of caching before heading home. Next stop for the day. Parked next to GZ where a quick search revealed the cache, and specimenX did the honours ! Log signed, cache returned, and we were off to the next one !
Thanks again cullum68 !!

We're on the fifth day of our stay. It's going to be another good day for activity today - cooler, and cloudy. The GeoSchnauzers and I are again loaded for geocaches. Car, GPSr and sundry kit, ice water, and a sense of fun and adventure. We're heading north to where we left off yesterday, and, again, today promises lots of walking for the dogs, and me. It turned out to be our best day for walking - about 8 kms.
Thanks, cullum68. Last one today. Nice easy grab. Interesting series, I suppose even sewerage treatment works can be made interesting with a cache or two. Onya!!

Cache and dash en route for Bowral. Maybe now I know where White Elephant was....should have looked there!

Another cache demonstrating why I love caching; no idea this was here and I love discovering local info. Another cache closer to our goal of getting to 1000 finds today.
Up there as one of my all time quickest finds.

The WEEO and I had a fab day of caching down at Callala Bay today and happily the WEEO also stopped here so I could nab this cache that he has been pointing out to me each time we speed by. TFTC
Meandering our way home, nice to pick up a cache or two along the way. Really pleased with the safe pull off area near the cache as we were towing van at the time. Tftc
