Back on the mainland, after nearly 3 months in Tassie. So nice to have avoided all the excessively hot weather.Slowly heading up the east coast. Grabbing a few hides along the way. Found after a short search. Loved the hide.Thanks dghoffy for placing the cache and doing the maintenance needed, so we can find this cache.
Was looking near it and couldnt find it until i found the octopus, the. Was really easy nice tree TFTC

Tftc. GPS initially set us on the wrong path. But finding the octopus made for a quick find ️

New cache container in place. Hopefully this one doesn't appeal to the animal with sharp teeth.
What an awesome specimen. LPG missing from container so have used a scrap piece of paper as temp. Tftc !
Initially GPS had us on wrong side of the road. But observant wife quickly spotted the octopus, which lead to the cache.

The cache container base is damaged and has a big hole but the log is fine.

Wow, what a tree. We are continuing our journey south towards home, and we wanted to pick up some caches along the way. We were curious about the name of this cache, and it quickly became apparent when we arrived at GZ. There has been some recent mowing, and we took a few minutes to find the cache. The cache was in excellent condition. Thank you for bringing us to this interesting spot and for this cache dghoffy.

As 2021 draws to a close I find myself with some time off work for a couple of trips, first to Narrabri for a funeral and a day later heading to Bermagui for some well earned rest and relaxation. Oh what a year it has been.
Found whilst in Bermigui and slowly working towards my goal of 2000 finds by the end of the year...
Another quick find before brekkie. Very interesting tree.

We found the geocache in a well hidden spot, but it had been damaged by rats and there was not much paper in it.
Great spot. Easy to find. Container had a hole and all of the paper slips had fallen out. Needs a little maintenance.
Someone took a bite out of the box it seems. Log wet. Couldn’t write on it. Cool tree.
Miss 9 was very excited to find by herself after watching a turtle cross the road

Cool location,clever hide.
Note to owner: we found a piece of rock that looked like it was once glued to the cache lid and has since fallen off. We placed it with cache container but may need to be reattached.
