Great to catch up with friends old and new, a beautiful day for it I grabbed a Snag and thoroughly enjoyed the event.

Rokadz and I messed up the FTF challenge with some cache blindness and after 15 minutes of searching at WP 2 got JacobsCrew to confirm it was still there before calling it off [B)] Ooops and heading back to chat some more.

Happy B'day Jade, the cakes were "Amazing" according to my daughter

I called in briefly with mudbuzzie. We just had time for a quick Happy Birthday to Jade as we had to be home by 10.30am. As usual we were just a little bit late Looks like a great turnout and mother nature was great putting on sunshine for the day. Thanks for the event and the August souvenir it earned us. Hope to see you again at the next event we make it too

Wow!! what an awesome turn out so many people thanks jacobscrew for organizing the advent, once again I hope Jade had an awesome birthday!!
Yes we messed up the FTF challenge I blame AlliedOz as he's taller than me and he couldn't find it!!

The day turned interesting when we went for a walk to find the recently published caches a local lady asked if we could herd a swan of the middle of the road as I the only one to step forward, as I approached the swan I swear it was going to go me!! when an idea popped in my head ( My son wasn't to happy I stole a piece of bread out of his mouth) and coaxed the swan off the road with little pieces at a time!! My good deed for the day )

But the big plus was my final souvenir for August!!

Sorry for late reply! Will be attending with possibly 5 more. Will bring our own BBQ food so not to disrupt catering

Happy Birthday Jade, what a great day for your event.
After having a quick chat with the birthday girl (hope you like the tiny amo tin Jade) we headed off to find some of the caches around the lake, particularly the "What's Next?" puzzle, as solving that took some late nights and a few e-mails to the CO. Thanks to JacobsCrew for planting some fresh caches for the occasion, we really enjoyed this lovely location and our walk (football kicking) around the lake. Unfortunately a potential customer called while we were enjoying the day and we had to head into work, so we only managed to find "Wow, Nearly a Beauty" before we had to leave. Sorry that we completely missed the birthday celebrations, cake and social mingling. Hope you had a great event everyone. Perhaps we'll see a few at the Sorrento Trackables Exchange Event next weekend?

A great day for the event, thanks to all those involved with the organisation. The event also gives me the final of the souvenir for August I required. I enjoyed the game. We got off to a slow start but made up for it at the end.

Today was a great day for celebrating a birthday and a perfect day for a geocaching gathering. We enjoyed the opportunity to meet with geocaching friends and also to make some new friends while there. Thanks for all the behind the scenes work that goes into making these events so special. Good job.

I previously said I wasn't able to attend because of kids' football wind-up commitments, however it is the only event this month that I'm going to be anywhere near so I am going to make a concerted effort to get there before 1.59pm. (I'll be leaving Malaga at 1.30pm to try to get there...) So hopefully some of you will still be around!! Tomorrow (23rd) is also an anniversary for familysteiner as it'll be exactly one year since we found our first cache.
