Didn't happen for me today... Given the number of DNFs it's time the CO did a check. Thanks anyway.

QLD Mega trip 2015 with Sol de Lune. On this almost 400km road trip we drove from Canberra to Stanthorpe caching in all the towns along the way with mostly great success. Around the Mega there were heaps of caches to be done including a few power trails. Despite the weather we got all of the planned caches done.

Day three was spent caching around Tamworth and then watching the cricket world cup at the amazing camp ground kitchen. It is great to see a facility like this surviving, the others I know of have all been converted to shops or units. Thanks.

Found with Albida33 on the way to the Stanthorpe Mega......

Great to be back at a park I rode around as a kid back in the late 60's. I see a roundabout has been added, so it looks like the 'roads' are up to date. As for the cache, it was found without any issues and the log was soon signed....then back in the car and off to continue our travels.

Thanks for the cache, the memories and adding to the fun of our Mega trip.....Big GrinBig Grin Fav point for all that.....Big GrinBig GrinBig Grin

Election Day for NSW. Rather than being inside putting numbers in little boxes, we were out and about opening the little green boxes on our map of Tamworth.

Our thanks to The muzza's for bringing us here.

Well this was my 4th visit to this one but our first look. Either this is a popular little park or I just keep coming at the wrong time.
Gave my 5yr old niece the hint and sent her on the hunt. As this was the last for the day and seeing various styles of hides and caches during the afternoon I let her go on this one. It wasn't long before she found it and with a little help we had cache in hand and log signed.
If I only knew the park out behind this area was there we wouldn't have spent as long at the last park and more time here. Think this was the better of the parks we went to today. Will have to bring the smoky here when we come back through at Easter.

Today we headed into Tamworth. glad we got an early start as the weather has got really hot.
The 1st caches we found were in the Tintinhull region, some nice backroads & along the stock routes.
It was now time to head in towards town. It has been 6 months since we have been here but a number of new cache s has popped up.
What a great spot for kids to learn their bike rules.
Thanks for placing this cache The muzza's

There was a birthday party in full swing when we arrived and we debated as to whether to search or not but it's such a great little area we really wanted a closer look. Checked the hint and wandered in. It's surprising how little notice muggles take when the party food arrives! TFTC The muzza's.

Found at 12:20 PM GAFF1. Wow - the first cache in a park that we have done in Tamworth that wasn't placed by WW Razz
This would be one tough cache to retrieve when the place is being used - you can just imagine all of those midget muggles trying to smash into your legs while you were trying to get the cache Red Face
Good co-ords so we were able to spot the nice hide immediately.
Thanks The muzza's.

24-Jul-14
I think I found it. If I did it is in the wrong park, it is a virtual, the coordinates are all wrong. I could not find any sort of container, just markings of an unusual nature. As I said "I think I found it".

23-Jul-14
Found it using description and hint. Co-ordinates are out by approx 700 meters and will take you to the wrong park and the center of a football field.

22-Jul-14
I am sure the coordinates are wrong. The Road safety Park is about 3 km away. The coordinates shown are for Chaffey Park and the coordinates bring you into the middle of a football oval.
