we tried to get this one but there is sign of private property at the beginning of the track. So turned around and leave without a smile !
Went to drive in to cache and near the first powerpole there is a sign saying keep out private property. Makes me wonder if cache is surposed to be there
Had some time to kill before venturer scouts woke and made my way to this cache. Took in the hint and soon had cache in hand. Did the legals and replaced as found. TFTCM
Cheers dkmacca

Found Great spot !! TFTC And thanks for the hint , we would have struggled without it !!
TFTC nicehike and slip and slide and thankfully that tree was there to grab onto and yay there’s the cache out on adventures with Squirrels0291 and her geohubby
It took a bit of searching, but persistence paid off and I eventually found the right place. And the view is pretty good from the cliff nearby.
Fantastic location on this chilly morning in the Blue Mountains thanks for the cache.
We had the whole gang for this one and it was easy. 3, 5 and 9 year old and 70 year olds Grandma. TFTC
Logged this cache for the "regular" element in the "Well Rounded Size Cache Challenge". It was also my cache for the last caching day of 2018.
Cache Berghofer Vue-47 funnet 2. november 2018 10:19. Takk til rogerw3 for å ha gjemt denne. Hilsen Toem66
This was the first cache traditional one completed today – as like usual hard way in easy way out. I must say this one was a good lead up to your next one I completed on the Australian caching platform – New York Road – it looks like many people have been doing the slip and slide here to find this one you can tell – so thanks for the challenge and thanks for the walk. Not worth driving down – unless your camping or having a cuppa - TFTC / TFTH / SL
A quick stop during my caching in the Blue Mountains! I really like the whole area here a bit further away from the busy Katoomba. Had some really asome views today and been to a lot of locations I had not been before!

Had to rely on Baktrak's nimbleness today, and what a great place to lookout! Mind the ants.
A fav from me thanks rogerw3
A fav from me thanks rogerw3
We parked near the comms tower and walked down the trail, not having a 4WD to scratch. Thinking we'd followed the description to the letter, we searched for a quite a while but couldn't find a cache. Finally, I took one more step, quite a big one, and found another world, complete with cache. Fascinating geology there too. Not feeling sadistic, I delivered the cache to MummyPenny and we signed from the natural lookout before I made the returning trip. Thanks again rogerw3.
Found whilst working (climbing around) in the area for a day. Very good to see a large cache after a staple diet of urban micros. A favourite point from me! All good at GZ. Many thanks rogerw3
In the area doing some hiking with my wife (preparing for a hike on the Milford Track (NZ). TFTC.
Hi there rogerw3.
We found your cache **"Berghofer Vue-47"** at 11:24:00 AM today. (This makes our find count 17656).
Today we explored the caches up the Mount York Road (out of Mount Victoria), & thoroughly enjoyed our tour around the area. The roads were narrow and twisted, but the views were absolutely spectacular. We ended up finding a variety of container types and sizes hidden along the way. Today we found 7 caches (& DNF'd 0). Thank you for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
###Thanks for placing a large cache here. It is really sad to note that the trend of placing small caches (without swaps) is increasing. While nanos and eclipse tins sometimes have their place in an urban environment these, along with 200ml Sistemas, seem to be the norm these days even out in more remote areas. It made us feel really glad to find a large, kid friendly cache here.###
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Found with XtremePanda .Last one for the day how Quick dark comes went there still light came out dark might have to do more in dark really liked it
A nice walk along a fireroad then a track, before a short scramble. Great views from a lookout nearby. TFTC Picked up TB.
Spent a little bit of time standing above this one until I read the clue. Then slid down to it. Lovely spot. Another favourite being awarded. Doing the caches by bike and having the most beautiful Easter Sunday morning. Tftc. I actually put 2 trackables in here but accidentally dropped them in a nearby cache. I hope the person who picks them up will correct this.
Wow what a great location!!! After going around both ways I was within 2 metres of it the first time!!! Finally spotted it on my 3rd pass haha. Be very careful with geokiddies on this one the ground is very slippery and steep. TFTC
A nice area that i hadn't visited since completing the Evans survey multi. I came up here to find some caches after buying new canyoning shoes for tomorrow. The scramble down to the overhang really freaked my little brother out, but i barely noticed. I guess it's die to the large age gap and what we get up to in our past times that made the difference.
Read some familiar names in the log, and received a PAF call from one of them not long after.
Thanks for the cache.

A fantastic adventure to get to this one and I loved GZ. Somehow, I don't think this one will ever get muggled. It is well worth a favourite point for the location. Top work rogerw3. Cheers.

#2798th - Tricky find with our cycling sandals. But we got it. Left the DVD and CD box set for others.

we parked in the parking area and walked down a well formed track, well maybe it wasn't as it came to a complete stop suddenly. BB had done this one so we were doing it the easy way, NOT! Veering off to the right we limboed to another track, the right one? and followed it down for a while. Nope need to cut across the bush again. We all went different ways and finally I got to the cache. Log signed we off to check out yet another WOW view.
Ratdog is old enough not to get into stupid spot while caching these days so we don't need to keep too close an eye on her.

Was heading down to where the old one used to be and the childbride says, no, it is way over to the left...
So, we went left and found an ammo box, very nice to find.

We bush bashed all the way to this one, but did find the track on the way out. I was squeezing my way around to GZ when I got a call from my son on an urgent matter - where was he supposed to dispose of the used coffee grounds from the coffee maker? He wanted to make hot chocolate, but the coffee maker was insisting on a clean out first .
The girls drew some cute pictures in the sand at the rocks on top, showing people falling off cliffs. I think that means they listened to my warnings about cliff edges.
Thanks

#3195- it's always a pleasure to do a rogerw3 cache, since the views never fail to amaze you. This one was no exception.
We were starting to run short on time before we had to be back in Springwood to do the second last lunch pickup of Garks school life ever. I was unsure how much of a walk we may have on this one, but bikerbuddy assured me we'd make it in time. It turned out to be a very short walk indeed, with those unfailing brilliant views at the end. Loved the little Ricky section where the cache was hidden too. Thanks rogerw3. A favourite from me.

Out of the ten caches I did today this one had the best physical location. Apart from the views, I appreciated the cache location. As I picked my may down the slope, I looked right and immediately saw where Roger would have hidden the cache. Sure enough, there it was, waiting to be signed when I climbed up. Thanks for another great cache Roger.
Bit of a bush bash but was a fun find. Left the Lost Viking behind. Hope he has loads of fun on his travels!
Reperio at 0820.
On a chilly Blue Mountains morning, I headed out early to visit a few caches. Fortunately the weather was pretty good, and the view looking out was crystal clear. Cache found safe and sound.

I came down the fire trail, and made my way across to GZ a little too soon. I overshot the spot and level, before I came back for a simple find. Thanks.
I made this cache so much harder than it had to be even with those D/T ratings. first i tried to go straight over the edge, then went round the long way and came up the other side. usually I go caching in inconvenient thongs but today it was the skirt that was the drama. lots of unnecessary backtracking to find the right spot. came out grubby and black from the burnt trees but with a grin on my face. for me this is what caching is about. loved the views, the regeneration of the bush is well underway as well. Thanks for continuing to show me beautiful places in the Bluies rogerw3.
our last cache of the day....we wandered down the trail.....guided by the views we ended up about 35M from GZ, a quick realisation that we were caching not exploring had me checking the app, and a short wander to GZ, then a more complicated wander ................will leave it at that! The name of the cache had us wondering, but all makes sense near GZ. A Fav for us!
Thanks Rogerw3!
Thanks Rogerw3!
Our last for the day in what was a successful and fruitful (for the numbers) trip up the mountain and out to Mount York today, with Steveb.
Parked at the firetrail entrance, followed the mulch past the 'power tower', and ventured through the burnt trees into some thicker growth.
We worked our way down and saw a spot that got me a little excited - they don't get old - and, as expected, the cache was tucked away inside.
Another good cache and a great view. TFTC.

Spring has sprung in the Bluies, but hardly as the weather was still a bit chilly brrrrr. Great day out caching with YTTAM!
This one was our second for the day and since we took the scenic route to the cache we got very black and scratched along the way. Since we did the predecessor to this one we were not expecting to find GZ where it is and yet this is yet another great spot for a cache.
The area was teeming with climbers today and did mention how windy it is today...
Thanks for the cache

Always nice to walk and talk with pjmpjm who made the find as I directed him from further afield, having gone too far. Another fabulous rogerw3 view cache.

Joint FTF this afternoon with Team Canary Senior!
We started out at 4:30pm when TC finished work in Katoomba and reached the familiar Berghofer GZ before dusk. A bit of searching and teamwork and . . . voila! . . . we had CIH!
All was in good order with the cache . . . a very nice log book and lots of swaps, as we've come to expect with rogerw3 geocaches. I scored a pair of small scissors, which looked very handy. LNSL.
We enjoyed the view up top but had to hurry on to try for the new and nearby GCA hide.
(Take note of the CO's cautions about Blue Mountains sites like this one. It's not dangerous as such, but all unfenced local locales can be unforgiving to the careless. Watch out for your geokids.)
