Cache has repeatedly gone missing...disabled until i can organise something different for this one.
Planned out nine caches to find in the area with my awesome geopartner WallabyTim. Should have read the activity on this one first. Neighbour informed us that this was perhaps the third time this cache has been muggled. Shame as it's a nice spot by the water.
Mike watched over us and then told us if we were hot or cold and then.... Let us down easy and told us that it'd be stolen..
Great find if it was there!!!!
Great find if it was there!!!!
Once again cache has gone.... Also the wherewithal to hold it in place..... Not available atm
Wow, nice little spot. Found after some seaching with the brother and family! TFTC
Found with tpelm1 when log was missing and we used an old receipt! Cool cache!! TFTC
Found cache, but the log was missing! We replaced it with an old receipt as a temporary log
Cache has been replaced. It had gone MIA.
Now it's ready and waiting to be found again
Now it's ready and waiting to be found again
Found what we thought could have been in relation to it but no cache. Will have to retry
In the area for a quick daily cache. Counted up, counted down. Got the cache enjoyed the view.
Another quick find by geokid
I think this would have taken me a lot longer to find!
TFTC beautiful location

Went to check out new Bunnings with littlest Rattenbury and geo hubby when I got a call from The Big Kids wanting to know if I'd be up for finding a few caches. Met at this cache as last time we came for this one it was missing. Not so tonight. Grabbed cache and signed log. Sent hubby and littlest Rattenbury home and went off for another night time adventure. Tftc
Quick find. Shame the magnet is not part of it anymore but this setup ensures less loss. Thanks.
Nice easy find in sandwich city, way too crowded. There wasn't a log so have done the best I could with what I had with me.
That was so small. Had to retie it because it was falling in. Also a little bit damp. Good hide
Found this one slightly damaged but have remedied the situation & it's all good to go again. Lovely area but the rai. Is starting again.... TFTC
Easy find with GeographyMan. Don't think we found the cache exactly were it was meant to be.
After spending Sat + Sun in town, it was time to get a couple of caches before heading home. I did few yesterday a few steps north from here and now the ones south of the canal were on the list.
This was the first one. I use OSM maps on the phone and it still lacked all this new development, had only the Sunrise Dr and Sunshine Cove Way but none of the smaller streets. Subsequently it took a few minutes to find access to here but a route to a gate on a footpath was found. This made me think the foreshore would be private property. The smartiephone compass stopped be on the roadside but the hint suited another location much better so I sneaked in through the young vegetation and continued my walk a bit further.
Only when I was leaving realised it's not a privacy but a safety gate against kids.
Now, the question was about counting the same way the CO has done. Also about which end is a better starting point.
The neighbourging house had lots of people on their backyard overlooking the GZ so I had to play casual, like I'd be here just for relaxation. Sat down and had some casual glimpses around, took a little closer look and suddenly realised something that might well lead me to a container...
Log signed and container returned back to its nicely constructed hide. All good here.
This place is wonderful! I came a little before the sunset and it was beautiful and - yes - relaxing. Two days in a 200-person function takes its toll but even a few short minutes here recharged me nicely. Wish I could have enjoyed this longer. [^]
A definite fav point for a location I'm very happy to have found. Added bonus points for going to the trouble of actually setting up the hide well instead of just chucking a container somewhere.

It wasn't too hard to find but good fun was had looking for it. Captain Hook would like this one.
Another nice find today while caching around the area with Just-Lookin.
SL Thanks for the fun!
SL Thanks for the fun!
Enjoying exploring this part of the country with tmann421 collecting caches along the way. Many thanks to all the COs for making this such a memorable trip.

Out getting some smilies today and this one has long escaped my list so thought it was about time I got it.
Arrived at GZ and soon had the cache in hand.

Just happened to be driving down Maroochyd Blvd and remembered this cache was here just on my left, so a quick left turn and a short distance away parked and with the aid of the clue this was an easy find. Signed logsheet 11:30 and replaced as found.

It seems that I never logged this when I originally found it so it was an easy find. I thought I recognized the name. Tftc
Thank goodness we found this one - we had just had six DNF's in a row prior to this one. With the help of the hint we were able to make a quick find. TNLNSL TFTC
Great spot to hide a cache however, daylight could make this one easier to find...
#597 ~ A wee bit slippery on this wet middle of the night solo adventure. Glad I finally had the chance to nab it. TFTC Crysalpaca
Waited a little while till the lure fisherman left then a quick grab thanks to the clue. Cache all good. Thank you Crysalpaca.
Tftc , nice one . Easily found . Fav point from us, will last along time the way you have it set up. TNLNSL

TFTC, great placement. Out with the girls today for some cache hunting. TNLNSL
After a quick excursion to the shops, we had a bit of time for some caching on the way home.
Since we'd found all the others in this little area, we thought we'd better check this one out too. Still lots of construction vehicles to dodge to get to the spot, but nice and quiet once there with peaceful view over the creek. No muggles around so free to search unhindered.
Not long before I looked in a different direction and spotted it.
J spent most of the time admiring the baby prawns under the deck. [^]

Found at 0943. Had to drop some doc's off at a nearby business so decided to grab this cache while in the area. The hint gave me an idea of the area to start my search and it wasn't long before I had the cache in hand. It was quite pleasant sitting by the water and signing the log didn't want to leave but duty called. TFTC.
Still camped at the Dunethin Scout grounds with Liz and Bruce,
and headed off together for a day of caching.
Lovely views of the water ways, and the new development.
Cache was found quickly, and in good condition.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Crysalpaca, for us and others to find.

Another wonderful day of caching on the Sunshine coast. We really enjoyed finding this cache. Nice one [^][^]. Thanks to Crysalpaca.
Out and about with thehairbear and after going to the plaza we decided to stop by and enjoy this peaceful spot. It was a quick find and all was returned as found.

Lots of building going on but no one took any notice of me.
I just wanted to sit by the water and admire the views and to find a cache also.
The sun was shining and there was a big black cloud looming.
Time to sign the log and scoot.
Heading back to home I saw the line up on the other side of the Bruce Highway waiting for the bus that was on fire to be cleared.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks Crysalpaca All good with this cache

Found @ 0900 hrs
This popped up on my radar @ 7pm last night, but I was too warm and comfy to head out into the darkness, so I left it till today when I was up Maroochy way.
This area is booming with the housing projects happening trying to get a park was a battle this morning.
I made my way to GZ and very quickly had retrieved the cache from it's hide. I signed the log be for I returned the cache to where I found it.

Cache find # 200 yah. Geoson right on to it . Great spot and a spectacular rainbow overhead . Fish were going crazy jumping and making big splashes. Didn't hang round long, rain threatening. TFTC crysalpaca. TNLNSL .
*FTF* at 7.20 pm. The notification popped up and we were off as it was very close to home. After a little bit of a look we came up with the cache. Great area. TFTC Crysalpaca.
Joint *FTF* with seirra1.
Well there was a bit of a scramble tonight and seirra1 took off out the door saying something about a FTF. I was already for bed and nice and warm but seeing as the cache was nearby (I almost walked past it earlier today) I thought I would go for a look too. I quickly got ready and grabbed a torch and drove to GZ (lucky I had an idea of where it was because the geocaching app told me it "could not connect"). So when I got there, my geofiance tried to look inconspicuous (not knowing it was me). I had just called out to let him know it was me in the car and by the time I parked the car and grabbed my torch he had it in his hand. Thanks for the cache and a bit of fun tonight Crysalpaca.

2nd to find at 1950.
I was so excited tonight as there were 2 new caches published within 5 minutes and both under 4km's from home. I was lucky enough to get the honours of FTF on the cache 'Bus Stop Boogie' - http://coord.info/GC594Q6 in Buderim and then thought I would give this cache a go as well...
On arrival to the area it was pitch black and dead quiet... The area was just creepy, kind of like a half-built deserted city. I was just waiting for a zombie to pop-out of one of the shells of a home-to-be. I made my way to GZ whilst glancing here and there to just insure that I did not get any non-human surprises. Once at GZ I quickly had the cache in hand. I slowly unrolled the log... I had been beat, the two names of 'seirra1' and 'us3scouts' were there glistening in the moon light.
My biggest challenge tonight, getting the log back into the bison!
*** CONGEOLATIONS seirra1 and us3scouts ON GRABBING THE PRESTIGIOUS FTF ***
Thanks Crysalpaca for another great cache in this ever growing metropolis.
