Well I didn't want to archive it ,but the old machine has been removed,so the attraction has gone as well as the cache.
I was just driving passed and saw the old bit of machinery on the back of a truck. Couldn't stop but I am pretty confident this cache is gone forever
2:38:00 PM. Pulled up for a look. Had a search and got a torch. That didn't help much and in the end located by feel. Log signed thank goodness. Thanks Fergclan for placing this cache.
With the help of a torch we were able to locate this tricky little hide. Thanks Fergclan.
Couldn't find it on my first visit a few weeks ago, but it was raining, so we didn't look for too long. Great to find today
Went down to check out the old wagons in the shed first. Mrs Grundies was eyeing off the wagon wheels enviously for her garden. Then off to GZ. No luck initially after risking hands in holes so back to geomobile for a bit more light and very soon the cache was brought to light in a little less dodgy spot. TFTC
Finally!!!
Could not find it first time round..supposed to be an easy find! Met some fellow Caches at the 'Griffo' strip who found it straight after us, so back we went, inspired, but still unsure, as we checked so thoroughly?? It still took us over 30mins, we were about to give up, and turbonana finally heard that 'ding' of metal as she budged it. We looked in that spot over and over and felt...tentatively tho, spiders and all. But we are little, so maybe hands not quite big enough to reach back???
Just glad we did get that 'easy' find!

found it finally with the Arnos! Was easy .. but fear of spiders retarded progress. (PS did not see any live spiders). Very challenging and an excellent hide.
After a hard but satisfying morning in the garden, this was an easy find. More so than I expected being a nano
I had to escape from the sound of men chainsawing trees and then shredding them and so took to the road. This was my first find after not finding the one at Teven. I had come by here before but it was on dusk and I had not thought to bring a torch for looking inside spider clad dark places. I was prepared and quickly spotted the cache. Thanks Fergclan who is never near his phone when I need a hint for other caches!!
Found with the geo-son before heading south to Urunga. I had previously seen a red belly lurking at GZ a few years when I was working there but there were no critters around today. Many thanks Fergclan
Always find these difficult but after a brief look over it was a quick find in the end. Thanks guys.
Always driven past this, glad to have stopped and found cache. Found with newbie mum. Tftc
TFTC thanks to having torch on phone and not being worried about spiders. Needs new log finished filling it up
There was really only one place it could be. Had cache in hand fairly quickly. Don't come this way very often any more. Thanks for bringing us back!
Found with Gourmetgazelle and geograndkids. Our GPS took us across the road to the school but a reading of the hint soon had us in the right spot for a quick find in that location. TFTC, Fergclan.
[Blue]# 12739[/Blue] Found on our 2015 Winter escape trip to Qld.
Another perfect winter afternoon for a drive to Ballina.
Yes it is a very old model, and a quick find too thankfully.
Cheers from down south in Wagga Wagga.
Thanks for the cache Fergclan,

Looked in both ends with no luck then a heap of muggles arrived so gave it a miss.

After driving here from Ballina and looking for a different route back to our accomodation we ended up stopping here and parked across the road. We searched the machine with no luck until we checked the size of what we were looking for. Oh that explains why we didn't see it at first. Now that we were on track the Cache was quickly located and signed. From here we continued on with our trip through the lovely country side.
Thanks
Thanks

Council works on the road nearby meant there more plenty of stationary cars around GZ. One worker asked if I was taking photos - ah, the joys of our post-9/11 world! Thankfully, earlier logs meant the cache was soon in hand. TFTC
found it after reading some of the previous logs. I remember this engine 20 years ago when it was in much better nick
Visiting family for the week trying to get a lot of yellow smilies. As others said, coordinates off. Tftc
Thanks Fergclan, had fun with this one. Log signed with my user name initials CUB.
Out on a geocaching day trip with my husband to try to collect some caches around Lismore and Alstonville. After a quick search at GZ, I realised I must be in the wrong place. A quick look at some previous logs makes me look further a field. I soon realised I needed to be way across the road in the trees. I have driven through Alstonville so many times but I never have noticed that this was here! We searched for 16 caches today and found 14. Thanks for the hunt today Fergclan. This was our 185th find at 3:04pm
An appropriately named cache, as we're down here for the long weekend to celebrate my sister's birthday . The model was all rusty and mossy and damp and vintagey, very atmospheric indeed. We liked that it had bits you could open and peer inside, too, and I was lucky enough to find the cache (using a torch) in the first place I looked. Bodes well for the weekend! TFTC, Fergclan. =^.^=
I enjoy historical things. This one is looking quite rusty these days. Log safe and dry. This is a beautiful little town. Thanks Fergclan.
Exploring the area on a birthday trip away for the long weekend. Rather liked the fact that all the moving bits aren't welded shut on this one. Much more exciting to explore! Cache was found safe and dry. TFTC, Fergclan.
Purpledarkness searched for this one for quite a while, eventually went home. Skip forward a month: Purple hard at work and a text from gallivanting Darkness proclaims "I found it' Hmmphf ....
Ha, ha, ha. Loved Brother Colin's posted log. We had a bit of a discussion with him at this location. Funny about the co-ords. The ones that worked for us today are about S28 50.222 and E153 26.297. We were getting pretty intimate with this vintage model and couldn't spot the darn cache. Got a torch out of the car, and guess what, it needs new batteries. Battled on and came up with a log to sign. Phew! Thanks for showing us this poor old dear Fergclan. It could do with a bit of loving, though I think it may be a bit late for it. We love to see old machinery on display around and about. Great history!! [^][^]
Got this one after picking up geokid from school today. Been eyeing it for a while now, glad to have a smiley!
Have been in and out of this park since I was a kid, glad to see the history is still here

cache find #3120. armed with torches, we first made sure that the cache guardian was fast asleep. It was then that MrGT54 found the little blighter. Nice hide. TFTC.
My second day in Lismore and surrounds. I am heading home today after finding a few more finds.
I am now making my way back to the highway via a few good caches.
My phone had me over there ... but there is nothing there. [?]
After reading the logs I realised I was supposed to be waaay over there. [?] 50m away. [?] Did you get your co-ordinates from Google maps or what?
Anyway I decided to start at one end and work systematically ... but I found the cache in the first place I looked. Got to get lucky every now and then.
Thanks for the cache.

Took a lot of looking almost gave up but finally spotted it on the last check with a Big arse spider defending it.
Quick find in the drizzle. Tftc

Devilish, but I wasn't going to give up after making a wrong turn off the Bruxner highway. This was the longest I have taken in a long time!!!
Super easy find amongst spiders probably the only unrusted piece of the vintage found with supermegawitch & cookie24 tftc
Got it!
Torches really make it possible.
Good hide.
Getting away without the mozzies having a feed us a little more problematic!

Being a local I knew exactly where to find the vintage model without even taking my GPS. Finding the cache was a little trickier but I found it fairly easily. I guess I was lucky and started in the right area rather than having to search all over. Tricky little hid Mr Ferg.... but I would expect nothing less.
Cheers renroc

The co-ordinates were about 50 metres out for me on this one. Had a look around and thought giving the most obvious object a good going over was in order.
Took a while to find the vintage thing as it is very camouflage in with the background. Thanks
Kids nearly gave up on this one! But we found it. Easy to find once you know what your looking for google "magnetic nano geocache"
Gps will send you to school yard. This is wrong

Well me and Diamonjs and our muggle dad(witch we are turning him into a cacher very slowly) set out with our torches to look for this one I was looking with the torch when dad takes the torch out of my hand and starts looking within seconds he goes found it.... Me thinks we have adopted a new cacher hahaha. TFTC
Really, a micro, no way!!! Well I have to admit I was here a couple of weeks ago, searched to no avail, did not help that my GPS was telling me I should be in the middle of the school yard, thank goodness caching brain said no to that one. We knew we would be back and today we had a little time before our appointment and who should find it but muggle hubby, Rusty85 was most disgusted:) TFTC - we had a great time with this one.
Whenever I see a hide like this I know I'm in for a tough time. I dropped by this Saturday morning at a balmy 12c with a sneaky breeze in tow and began the search.
Over and under, around the sides opened the doors, nothing. In desperation I decided to try using a bit of artificial light to assist the old eyes.
Well there you go. I didn't see that before.
Oops, where's the pen. Back to the car to grab the pen.
All up about 15min. A great spot to hide the cache.
Thanks to the Fergclan for another great hide.

Well, what do you know! My first ever jump-in-the-car-FTF-dash
This was the first of three FTFs I claimed today (I couldn't find the fourth little blighter, oh well)
This was very much fun, so thanks Fergclan. It turned my day into something unexpectedly exciting!
