Clever hide. It was a bit easier to spot because it was out of place, but i put it where it belongs so might be a little harder now. The hint is good.
Once I found the tea tree, the cache was easy to spot (the cache title helped). Love the camo.
Today on our ride through New Zealand a ride from Orewa to Kaeo. Beautiful kilometers with a visit to Hundertwasser in Whangrei. Fortunately, there were a few geocaches along the way. Thank you very much to CO for laying this cache. With warm geocache greetings from the Netherlands
During our way back from Te Paki Dunes we also passed this nice spot. Searched a bit before we were successful.

#10,573. I was heading to Kaikohe to pick up a couple of the TMGT geotour caches. But decided to stop here and find this one. I wouldn't say it was an easy find. I walked up and down the hedge a couple of times before reading the description and finally clapping my eyes on an object. I guess I had been expecting a tree with hacked off branches. Anyway soon had the cache in hand. Signed the logbook and replaced the cache where found. Thanks Schuetze family for hiding it here.
Taking a week off to have some nice quiet time up here in the Bay of Islands and we had a leisurely drive up here - no rushing about and at this time of year and wtih the borders closed to tourists it was certainly not tricky.
Needed to get one to mark the day and by now it was getting a bit dark and rainy so popped in to get this one before heading to our air bnb - Mrs Tuolei dodged the raindrops and made a nice quick find here. Signed in and replaced as found - thanks for the cache. All fine here.

1173. 10:11 am. I started my search too far North, but a quick find at GZ. We added a new log since the old one was full. TFT(pull over)C.
On our caching journey up to the north with EyeSpyBen to sort out a few more caches and a couple of series, many miles driven over many days and many caches found, not to many dnfs
but lovely weather, Thanks to all the cache owners for the placements

A team effort here but it was found after 20 minutes, and I appreciate the cockroach warning! Cool hide picked up on the way from Auckland to Kerikeri, TFTC
Other than the odd thorn wound and the friendly cockroaches it was all straight forward
After a fair bit of crawling around in the thorns Tui came up with the goods. Great camo fav from us.TFTC
We were in Waitangi (Bay of Islands) New Zealand for the day on Holland America’s Amsterdam. We tendered into Paihia and had a rental car waiting for us there. We spent the day doing a 30-mile counterclockwise loop through beautiful farm country. By the time we returned to Paihia, we had found 20 caches. Great day!
Thank you to Schuetze family for 8 of the caches, to (bobcat105, Toastice, Russellschool, and R18=R5+R13) for 2 each, and to the other 4 COs for their efforts and for their caches.

Nice find with woolwood9 today.
*We enjoyed the drive / walk around the area.*
Stamped logs as tm/ww NZ which may just look like a black smudge on plastic logs!
TFTC
*Lots of bugs!*

Found it straight away. One to stay away from if you don’t like cockroaches as they have made this cache their home. Other than that it’s still in good order.
Greetings from Tauranga. Loving our short stay in your corner of the world. Sunday today, but all was quiet here and very peaceful. Not quite Tee tree, but we were very pleased to spot the cache quite quickly. Shook all the critters out, but the log is fine. TFTC
Found with a sister during our expedition to NZ (from CZ), where we explored part of the North Island and could visit our classmates and friends that we have not seen for several years, as it is here, in Auckland and Napier live ... Thank you for cache ...
Found! One of us walked straight to this, one of us went off hunting in the total wrong direction Awesome camouflage! Great spot. Someone must’ve been cleaning up because it’s pretty good here now!
Stopped to look for this one, being wary of the last DNF's. Crawled around in the bush, unpleasant as it was with all the thorn, but finally we found the cache. The camo was excellent, however the log needs to be replaced, it is more or less just a lump of pulp.
Could not find cache but on the bright side there was little to no rubbish around. Also could not find a teatree....
Found 3.40pm
Good cache camo just a pity about the rubbish dumped around area. SLTFTC

Stopped for a few caches whilst travelling from Kawakawa to Kerikeri. Found this with the helpful hint, however, as the caches before and after were at beautiful churches this was a bit of a let down with its litter.
We are heading to Kerikeri in Zara. Quick stop here to snag and tag this one. Cheers
Boxing Day - day twelve - Kaikohe - Kerikeri with The Seagnoid and Zara. Toby staying in Kaikohe - sick again. An amazing family in Kaikohe adopted us and are going to look after Toby for the day or weeks if he cant be fixed!
Its another epic 3+ week geocaching adventure with The Seagnoid, Zara, Toby and Willam to the Far North. What an amazing place to explore. Lots of walks, gravel roads and sand. Lots of amazing trees, beaches and interesting POIs. Lots of kilometers traveled by vehicle and foot. Vehicle breakdowns, making new friends and catching up with old friends and family. Snagged a couple of FTF's, lots of lonely caches and the odd event along the way. Lots of cache maintenance and replaced caches on this trip. But what an incredible adventure!!. Thanks to all the CO's who have made this trip so memorable..

A few days ago Toby got a problem in one of his wheels and went n for a noisectomy. he came out fixed, but a day later it happened again. So he is back in hospital to excise the bit they missed before. So we are travelling around in Zara. Head off to Kerikeri for a day and see how well Toby is doing tonight.
Had trouble finding the cache here. I could not find any stump anywhere. Whyfor this cache name? Ah!
Day twelve of an awesome, tiring, long, three week holiday geocaching with Taybeedragon in the upper north. Boxing Day! Caching Kaikohe to Kerikeri. The whole trip comprised of hours of walking on sand, sliding down sand dunes, hundreds of kilometres of unsealed roads, car breakdowns, paddling out to islands, lighthouses, dolphins, goats, events, FTFs, weird boulders. You name it, we saw it. Lots of bisons, lots of cache maintenance, lots of sunscreen. A month is enough. I am glad to be back home. Except that now I have to write up my trip. We averaged just 20 caches per day, but that is still a lot of logging!
Merry Christmas from the Seagnoid!

After two days of decidedly rubbish weather, it was time to get out of the house and what better excuse is a spot of caching. I'm back in Whangarei to visit my parents for the Christmas holiday period and I'm keen to do some caching a little further north to extend my furtherest north cache spot.
A quick find here, to find that the ants are taking over this cache and making it their own. TFTC

What a tricky find this one turned out to be. Tried to avoid the prickly bush, but that was where the GPS was sending me.
rebel98 joined in the fun, and he soon had the cache found
Thanks for the hide, a well constructed cache.

Up north for a sporting event today. Had previously had a quick look for this as a geocaching newbie in November, when I was last up this way, but I couldn't get a good GZ with my old GPS and the hedge was terribly prickly.
With 300 caches more experience now, it was easier this time, but the hedge is still prickly..!! I like these neat camo'd caches though.

#10866. Always good to find good parking on the open road. In this case we got rid of a muggle by giving him a jump start. TFTC.
After spending a couple of nights in Algies Bay, we are now heading for Northland where we will be spending the next phase of our North Island tour. Just our second visit to the area, the first was during the week before the Auckland Mega, when we travelled as far north as Keri Keri, so we are looking forward to exploring more of the region.
We pulled into the rest area only to find another car there, but the owner was mighty pleased to see us as he needed a jump start after leaving his cell phone charging in the car while having a snooze. That was enough to flatten the battery. So StreetWalker helped out the guy while I looked for the cache. Soon spotted something that needed further investigation and yes, it was the nicely hidden cache. TFTC.

Co-ords are a bit off and those trees hurt when they scratch sunburn!!!! Not too keen on the cockroaches wait her. Couldn't get log out to sign it but too photo for proof if needed of actual cache and camo
#7083. Parked off State Highway 10 to wait for the heavy shower to pass this afternoon. Even the road grading gang had to stop during the downpour. After they moved along, and GZ was all quiet, went out to have a quick find. The cache was in excellent condition, all nice and dry inside. Nice hide, and yes, the bugs liked it too. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.

Great clue - couldn't see it being of use until we got very close. Good hide. TFTC
Didn't realise we had found it at first. Lid has come off. Tried to reach out but it's stuck in its hidey - hole.
EWWWW! Opened the cache and out poured litrally hundreds of wood lice and roaches rushed out to meet me. Not sure what they were all doing in there
