With no action or reply from the cache owner to address all the DNF. Also the CO has not logged into Geocaching website since April 2017, so perhapse no longer an active cacher.
So it is time to archive the cache and free up the area for other cachers to place a cache.

Stopped off on my way back home from the Amateur Radio NSW (HAM Radio) bi-monthly Trash & Treasure sale at Quarry Road Dural, to have a look at this one. It had been a fun filled morning of HAM radio junk scrounging, and a nice BBQ lunch with lots of friendly chit chat, but now it was time to collect some more caches on the homeward journey. Total for the day was 15 finds and 1 DNF.
No luck for me with this one today. Searched for a while but was unable to locate the cache and had to move on. TFTH anyway Susahs.

To me a long time but found it . We went back and forth but at the end we found it
Looked for about 20 mins and couldn't find anything. May be time for a check to see if it's still there because there has been a lot of people who marked it as a DNF
There was a major model car race going on today. Nevertheless 4 of us took a good look around, but came up empty handed.
We parked next to an empty race track and moved to GZ, where we had a bit of a search before deciding we had spent enough time on a film canister in the bush.
Quick find between rain showers today
the GPS took me too the GZ then decided it was 5 Meters away must be the partial tree cover.

A quick find while in the area. Carpark was full due to a BMX event although no one was here at the RC track. TFTC
I've been meaning to come to this reserve for a while, but kept putting it off for one reason or another. Today we decided to have a quick look around and pick up a cache or two. Well, it turns out we looked for and found only this cache today, mainly because it was getting quite hot and we were past our lunchtime, not a good idea with a little kid who gets grumpy when he's hungry. Mind you, big people also tend to get grumpy when they are hungry and hot!
There was one person racing an RC car around the track, doing some spectacular jumps over some of the bumps. That poor car took quite a pounding and would have been great to use in a car chase scene in a movie.
It took me a bit longer than expected to locate the container, but that's because I was initially concentrating on one particular feature in the landscape instead of looking a little bit beyond. Got it in the end, though.
Perhaps I'll come here with my bicycle next time so that I can explore further and perhaps pick up a few other caches in the area.

Done a few caches in this reserve over the years and each has taken me to a new and different sport/hobby. Co-ords were out a little (or maybe it was just heat fatigue already setting in on only my second cache of the day) but took a bit longer than it should have to uncover the hide. Maybe I was also distracted by the two cars racing and jumping around the track nearby.
One rc car going around the track. Quite therapeutic watching it go round and round!

Race course was quiet this morning. Only one muggle walking his dog at the other end of the car park. Allowed me to search in peace and wasn't long before I uncovered the cache. SL and returned as found.

Found it with the geoson! Awesome time watching the remote control vehicles, my son is keen to try this as a new hobby
Found while visiting here looking for a nice bike path to ride with 8YO. VERY disappointed with the shortness of the kid friendly section before the track went feral, but the cache was a bright part of the day. Easy find. thanks!
Found . Quick park and grab after I sat on a log and checked my phone, to find I had turned GPS to low battery usage therefore it showed me 100's of metres away from cache. Doh! :-[
TFTC. Walked passed it many times before and never noticed it. Found with ~moni~
I parked at the top ovals and walked down to GZ. It was a beautiful day for a stroll and there was no one about so I was able to search in peace. It took a few minutes to locate the cache as I was expecting something else; I should have checked the photos.
Thanks Susahs.
Thanks Susahs.
That was harder than is should have been. In hind sight a nice quick one. TFTC
Had a good look around the area, but the GPS was going haywire, so we weren't able to locate a consistently accurate GZ.
Out with JJCC for a cache run in order to find our daily cache to keep our streak going.
Parking in the deserted car park this morning we grabbed the umbrella and made the short walk to the posted coordinates. Searching in all of the usual spots we checked most items and then looked down and spotted the cache container just lying on the ground in the open. With the cache now safely in hand, we both signed the log and replaced as found....but not before covering the container with some hard natural camo that was nearby.
TNLN. Eight TBs visited - Bob geoMinion, Dave geoMinion, Evil geoMinion, Jerry geoMinion, Lady Fines Kronjuwelen, Larry geoMinion, Stuart geoMinion, Vanlith The Youngling.
Both the cache container and log are in average condition. TFTC Susahs

I am catching up on old logs. This was the only find for the day. I have been keen to find this cache as it fills in a missing date on my dates hidden calendar. I never knew this place existed and wonder how often it is used. I found myself to be the only person in the area so I knew I could search in peace. I read some of the past logs and started thinking I could be here for a long time. I established GZ but expanded the search a little bit until I happened to look from a slightly different direction and found the cache. I think this needs some maintenance as it was uncovered and it is unlikely to be the same condition the CO originally left it. Nevertheless, I was relieved the search didn't take too long or require repeated visits. SL. TFTC.

Sport was on near by and as we passed we noticed the usual muggle crowd was not racing today so we went to make the find. The GPSr said one location but we spread out to the east a little before seeing some camo and then the hide. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC.

Third time to this place, but this time armed with a bit of extra information. The hint had thrown me previously & had me looking in the wrong area. Expanded the search a bit and soon had CIH. GZ was 9m away by my iphone. Glad not to have to come back to this one again. TFTC

Finally managed to lay my chubby hands on this ever so sneaky little hide. Coords had me searching another area as GZ quite extensively, but I slowly broadened the search area and then ... BAZINGA! TNLNSL / TFTC
Found the cache after a few minutes of searching. Log was very wet but 2 mins in this hot sun dried it out. Also dried out container and contents. Thanks for the cache! Lovely area. No car racing today, but a cricket match in the distance kept us on our toes for muggles. Signed log and left micro swag.
We went out for a caching morning with Phantom Cyclist who found this one first. It was well hidden and needed some investigation, but was brought to light and the log signed. TFTC.
I'd been in the area looking for a few other caches & decided to give this one a quick go on my way back to the car. Narrowed GZ down to a bush and some rocks, read the hint, had a bit of a look but gave up pretty quickly - needle in a haystack for something that size. Maybe I'll be back.

Well. That was harder than I thought it would be. But after a few likely spots were checked, I looked at the clue and that helped. Soon had CIH. SL. TNLN.

Difficult to find, not sure if GPS is out or not. Was taken to a spot with thorns/brambles. Thought it may be under log but didn't see anything there
Decided to get away from the office and eat lunch over here, of course I had to check and see if there were any geocaches to be found and surely this was here! Quick find as no one was around but log was too wet for me to sign
Arrived at nearby Carpark to find people packing up and leaving, so I waited a few minutes before seeking the cache. Got to GZ and searched the usual spots and found it in the fourth place I looked. Did the legals and replaced as found. TFTCM

I drove over and there was a reptile expo going on, so many cars around. Lucky where I needed to go there weren't as many and no speed racing going on either. I walked around to GZ and started searching. Spent around 15 min here, until I retraced my steps and found the cache much easier this time. SL and replaced. TFTC.
Only thing racing around here today was a lawn mower they prospects made less nose than the racing cars that normally visit the area. A short hunt and soon the cache was in hand.
Thanks for the hide.

Enjoyed watch the car racing - look good fun. Found it - no problem. Thanks Susahs.
Looked and looked but could not find. We are sure that we were possibly looking right at it but will have to try again another day.
The GPS was more settled this time and the smell had gone. It still took longer to find this than it should have though. Don't know how we missed it first time around.
The stench here today was unbelieveable...a dead body perhaps? Anyway spent an unpleasant 20mins searching and getting prickled and breathing through my mouth. No luck today.
This was a DNF for the Tassie trio of Berrybender, wisELMS and "he who has no name yet".
Think I was pretty much in the right spot - pen on the ground but couldn't find the cache. Spent about 15 mins then abandoned the search.
Found with snoopy, Casper and nugget after a night of laser tagging, even with 4 sets of eyes we still needed a PAF. SL #1636 on streak day #827 TFTC
Great cache, a little bit tricky to find
Fortunately Susahs gave me a hand.
Thanks again, it was a pleasure to meet you.

Decided to spend the afternoon around Castle Hill. A few nice walks and a second drive-by of a cache that has too many muggles nearby.
* * * END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION * * *
Final cache in Fred Caterson Reserve, and it was a real surprise.
When I was playing soccer against Castle Hill, Field 4 was my usual venue. But I was astounded to see that which has influenced the naming of this cache. When I was last here (2006 or 2007) there was no BMX track on the far side of the carpark.
Made my way there and pondered GZ. Plenty of possible spots for a micro. Hoped it was one of 2 types of hide. Luckily it was. After flailing around for a bit, relocated for a new search and saw something camo-like.
CIH!
Completed signing duties and then a pleasant walk back to the car.

It took two pafs in the end to find this simply hidden, yet well camoed cache! Fency that! Thanks.
This one had me looking in my normal search pattern and somewhat of an extra pattern. Found the sneaky little thing though!

Thanks so much susahs! Our previous attempt was a very frustrating DNF, been trying to get time to get back to find this one and finally today we had a few mins in the area. Searched again same as last time, this time sure of the spot. And still couldn't find it! Several "one last look" and " oh, ok, one more last look"s later, I finally spotted it. I am so embarrassed, it was where we'd looked a bit last time and exactly where we looked a lot today, and exactly the type of hide I was thinking it had to be. How I missed it in the first 7-8 mins today I just can't explain!
I mentioned how frustrating it had been, Geoson commented "but it's so exciting when you do find one mum!" Yup, you're right son.
PS: Thursday afternoon at 5pm seems to be bush walkers peak hour, would have been 10 of them go past in our 10 minutes!

Had an hour to spare after school drop-off so decided to return to this one. Thankfully the area was deserted today and I was able to make a relatively quick find after avoiding a dead rat lying a couple of metres from the GZ. TFTC Susahs!
went over this afternoon, searched around a lot but came up with nothing. It's probably us, will have to try again. Noted that a large amount of bush clearing has recently occurred, lots of still green leaved branches stacked up right where phone gave me GZ, many cut stumps etc, assuming we were in right place that may have affected us. However clue was no help where we were so we may have been in wrong spot anyway. Previous logs referring to path/track also not a help as there were 3 tracks where we were! These newbies will get some more practice in and the return for another go!
GeoJack and GeoMatt assisted in an aimless search without luck. No one for cooee, only worry was being locked in. Could see where others have been but nothing noticeable out of place.
Okay, switch from GPS to iPhone for help.
Righty hoe, I should look near the path and towards the _____., CIH soon afterwards.
Starting to become chilly, only this cache today after a visit to the powerhouse museum. It's closing down now after today for 12-14 months for renovations, looking forward to revisit in late 2015 for a behind the scenes tour and see what things are new. TFTC

It would be interesting to see how many geocaches have ever been in this park. I've visited here so many times over the years for new caches, many of them don't last too long it seems. Was out at Castle Hill and came by for this relatively new one. Parked in the ample parking area and followed the track. Looked where everyone else has started looking then moved away a bit towards the path and spotted something. Made the find then signed the log. A good thing it was all quiet today being a weekday.
Thanks!
Thanks!
The last time that I was here, some zippy electric cars were racing around and doing flips on the jumps. Today it was all quiet though, which allowed me to search easily and find this cache within a minute of arriving at GZ. SL, TNLN, TFTC Susahs.
Beautiful day beautiful spot. Interesting to watch the cars but couldn't do it for too long. Spotted cache quickly after reading previous log. TFTC
After speaking to the owner and realising how close it was to a path compared to the coordinates a quick find was made.
Sadly on the day this was published apart from missing a ftf I had spoken to the council about a cache idea that can no longer happen.
Interesting spot. It's amazing how much use this facility gets, but never by kids. I work here a couple of says a week doing bush regeneration and it is almost continually in use. Tftc

Sunday mid-morning is not a good time to search for this cache. When I arrived at the parking area, I noticed quite a lot of cars, hoping they were making use of the nearby playing fields but unfortunately for me, there was a car racing tournament being held this morning, the area was crawling with muggles so I didn't even bother attempting to search. Will return at quieter, more sensible time.
Needed a PAF to get this very sneaky hide.
Nice and quiet here today at lunch-time.

Some of the boys were playing with their toys and then hung around forever discussing technicalities of their equipment. I looked almost everywhere that I didn't need to and got covered in nasty sticky weed seeds. Later I found the little devil in a much cleaner area, not far away. I had 4m at GZ so coords seemed fine. 22/04/14. 11:18 AM. Cache #1721. I decided to forgo FTF hunting yesterday and instead went out for a couple of older high terrain caches around Westleigh. Today looked like a good day to tackle some of yesterday's new caches. This one had me struggling for a little while. I did a methodical search all around the hint object and at the altitude mentioned. Plenty of thorny branches about, too, so I wanted to be careful where I stooped. Eventually found it when I widened my search, a few metres to the east. Try the co-ords above. Sneaky little hiding spot, too. Signed as 2TF and then headed off to Old Toongabbie to look for Game, Set, Match! TFTC }:)
