Unfortunately couldn't find it. Looked high and low

We had the area to ourselves this afternoon, and after sorting out our numbers found what appeared to be the remnants of a hide location at GZ. Hopefully it was just us and the cache is still sitting there safely. Thanks for the hide.

[red]Find #2668 Multi Cache #136 [/red] Big Grin

I was in the area late this afternoon to check on one of my own caches and was lucky enough to have some spare time before the puzzle event tonight. The geo family stayed at home so this allowed me to move quickly today. This area was almost deserted and muggle free today. It was fresh but not too bad. I made my way to the first sign and gathered the information I needed. I then thought I found the second sign before not being able to answer question, searched the area and found the correct location, doh. SOme more numbers and I was soon off looking for the final. Lots of rubbish in this spot and I soon located what I was after Big Grin Stamped and returned as found.

[blue]Thanks for this multi cache hide, Oh Dang and Sweet Rebel Tee [^]
Log and container in good condition. Smile

Despite camping close by for years I had never noticed this winch. I am sure the fishermen were grateful to use it.
Another multi that worked well and the co-ords were spot on. Thanks for showing me this relic OhDang!

It must have been a hard life to be a fisherman in those times, but it could still generate much excitement when a fish that large was landed. Extracted the info, then stopped at the labrynth to,walk it before reading about some very different history. It was soon off to find the cache which I found rather visible,so tucked it more securely away TFTC OhDang

Today was my monthly caching day out with Biggles Bear, with the Bellarine Peninsula our target. After grabbing the required answers and calculating GZ, we headed there, but it took several minutes to locate the well hidden cache.

My thanks to OhDang! & SweetRebelTee for the cache.

Found 2:19:00 PM, in the company of Muyzza during our regular May caching expedition. This month down on the Bellarine Big Grin

TNLN, thanks OhDang!.

Nice day for caching but both phones were being very unreliable so we had to extend our searches manually. Didn't take too long to find. Tftc and info.

15-Mar-15
Down in the area picking up some multi's to include in our 31 Multi cache Challenge tonight.
Worked out the maths and found the cache easily enough in this non muggle season.
Thanks very much OhDang! for showing us this area that normally we would have never had noticed.

Out and about for holidays with my niece and nephew this was there very first multi tftc

12-Dec-14
Found at 12:20 PM GAFF1. We used a similar winch at Cape Paterson to rescue our boat from the beach - had to pay $20 for the key to unlock the padlock Sad
Buckley is mentioned in a lot of locations around here - he certainly moved around a lot and it is odd that no white man saw him for over 30 years!
We headed off to a very likely location, but because of the entrance that we chose, it became a little more difficult to get around. When the GPSr finally settled and pinpointed the location of the cache, we found a very easy and open space where we could access the cache.
Thanks OhDang!.

This lovely multi had it all: a bit of interesting local history, clear information and tasks, beautiful backdrop, accurate GZ coordinates and a well-stocked, clean container. We do wonder if an animal moved it out of position as we found it rather exposed (luckily only visible once we were within the shrubs, not from the road or the beach).
We had a great time in this area and enjoyed the maze as much as the info signs. Thanks for bringing us here!
Happy to give a favourite point for this one.

The geomutt needed to get out of the yard so took advantage of the sun and headed down to the tip of the bay.

Took in the interesting info required for the multi then retrieved the cache with a few more scracthes than I went in with Wink

A great little multi where the info was actually quiet interesting to read and relevant to the area. A nice spot for a GZ also - gets a fave from me- when I build up some will drop one off. TFTC

Ten minutes of searching and then "eureka". Very well hidden, don't think muggles would find this one. TFTC

We have ridden past this winch many times and often thought it a great place for a cache. It was very interesting to visit both signs and brush up on some local history. All the numbers fell neatly into place and we were thrilled to find such a large container stocked with all sorts of themed loot.

Thanks to OhDang! for the hunt.

Finally had a chance to head down this way on the Peninsular and convert some caches into some smileys. Gathered what info I needed and soon had a likely spot to head to. Arrive at GZ and spent a good 10 minutes locating it. Eventually found (YAY!) and now off to the next one.

Thanks OhDang! for the cache
Log signed & replaced. TFTC & smiley face Smile

Another day on the caching trail. A variety of caches were encountered and eventually conquered, making for an enjoyable and liesurely day out. How nice to be outdoors in the fresh air rather than being cooped up inside.

Many thanks OhDang! for placing this cache Cool.

Out with ozbob to clean up a few new caches that have popped since we were last down this way.

On arrival we quickly sorted out the maths and headed off for a short walk but it soon became apparent that something was wrong as we were in someone's front yard so back to the plaques and then found where we had gone wrong so after that was sorted we headed off in the opposite direction.

With good co-ords the container was soon located and log signed, so thanks to OhDang for placing this cache.

Out with Bushfire for this one. Fell for the 2 card trick with this one and had to return and carefully re-read the plaques. Once we had the right info, a short walk led to an easy find with accurate co-ords. Thanks to OhDang! for the cache.

Well the afternoon was drawing on, the day's cache had yet to bpT found and the week end away to cache in foreign climes had not eventuated. So I was pleased to see some new caches popping up within the 40km radius which seems to constitute a close find these days Surprised.
So on a cool, clear afternoon I headed off to find this guy. I parked near the first WPT and went to find some numbers. This done, I retreated to the Geo6E to turn them into co-ords as the weather wasn't getting any warmer that late in the afternoon!
I soon had a respectable-looking set of numbers and headed off. A bit on searching and a look at the hint and the cache was soon in hand. After diving and replacing I headed back via the walking circle/labyrinth. Reminded of those we walked in the fantastic Mountain to Mouth walk last May, aturally I had to walk this one too!
I was also pleased to learn some history and any cache with links to William Buckley has to get a favourite from Buckleysbabe!
Thanks Oh Dang! And SweetRebelTea Big Grin!

Smile FTF Smile

Where do I start. I notice around 7:30pm that this had been published and as I was out at a sporting event and thought nothing of it. Later while watching the Tour De France I noticed that it still hadn't been found, but I thought someone must've found it but not logged it online, it got the better of me and at 11:30pm I set off to give it a go. Once at the first wpt I collected the first coords then went over to wpt 2 with what I thought were the correct coords. Once I set off I realised that they must be wrong, so back to the information to recheck all the time using my phone. Realising my mistake I set off again to GZ with my phone in hand and after an extensive search of the area which proved difficult at night and my phone going flat I admitted defeat posted my DNF contacted CO to see if I had the right Coords. As I was about to set off I put the coords into my GPS to give it one more go which took me 5 mtrs away and trusting GZ gave it one last look which proved to be spot on coordinates. Had a little smile on my face after the frustration, opened the log to find a blank sheet. My first true FTF. Went back to car to change my previous log as the phone was charging in the car.
Thanks for an epic search in the dark and the TB dog tag.
Thanks for the Cache OhDang!

Suscoe was down on the Bellarine this morning on an errand and this cache was close to where we were headed,
So after the errand we headed across and arrived at a quiet listed co-ord to begin.
Information found and then on to the next waypoint.
More info found and then the calculation and away we went.
A short while in the cloudy morning light revealed the hide.
Log signed and all made good.
A nice bit of local history in this cache made for an enjoyable wander.
Thanks to OhDang! for a well structured multi, a favourite from us.

Well done to Alchey for his midnight attack on this one.

We hope it will survive the summer visitors.
