No trouble working the numbers but we did have trouble at finding the cache. We also saw the cable tie but it was too tight to have anything attached to it. A previous log gave us a good hint at what we might be looking for but we just couldn't spot it today. Pity.
Worked out the coords fairly quick, but after a good amount of time poking about I was unable to find the cache! Doubled checked my reading skills, had some food and came back but still no luck. Did spot a suspicious ziptie that was about chest height . Possibly been muggled? Or I'm just lacking in geosenses
After a view hours in Wellington TEMBO! and I visited and walked Book Worm's Gathering. The container was found after a quick search. Some muggels are arround.
Thanks to zboy for hiding and maintaining the cache.

We thought at first the cache was on the other side of the fence, have issues with that. Spotted on second look.

Nice lil puzzle that I still somehow managed to get wrong the first couple of times. Cache was a lil harder to find but I managed it.
I have fine motor skill issues so I couldn't get the log out even with tools, but have a photo of the cache for the CO if you want to prove I found it!

An enjoyable urban multi. The final location was very busy on my first visit, had to come back, locate and sign. TFTC.

Easy multi grab while visiting Petone on a knife hunting mission.
The final got us scratching our heads for a little bit until I noticed the obvious attachment string.
Kia ora! Paldies!

Better weather than yesterday - still a cold wind blowing but at least there is no rain. Today we are concentrating on finding Adventure Labs and solved puzzles around Petone and up Korokoro.
We made our way to the library and gathered the information needed to calculate the final co-ordinates. Then we set off for GZ. Not too many people around so we made our way into that spot and quickly had the cache in hand. Thanks.

Today was a notable day in my attempt to have a caching streak of 1 year - the half way point!
I found myself down in Petone after work today so decided that I'd have a go at what looked like an easy Multi, and sure enough that's exactly what it was.
No problems at all gathering the required answers to the questions, and a few minutes late I was at a nicely quiet GZ. Found the cache quickly and dealt to the log before replacing it all as found.
Thanks for setting up this cache - just another 183 days to go now!

Any clues on this one tricky to find been there a few times but nothing. Almost DNF??? Be curious to see if anyone can find it now?
Up in the Hutt for a couple of days visiting our branch there and opted to stay in Petone as it was close and also because there were a number of AdLabs and other caches to be had while I was there
Having checked in to my hotel I set out for a wee drive around before dinner.
Ok just one more before dinner!
Given the time of day I was able to easily pull up right outside. Got the words, did the calculations and found where I needed to go next.
Again I was able to pull up right alongside and caught a glimpse of the container in the glow of the street lights.
Thanks zboy wonder

Nice easy puzzle and quick find, although I did get asked for money by a passing local. All good though.
Sorted out the coordinates fine, although I had a little problem with mis-entering one of the digits. Good walk over to the cache to an odd little spot that I did feel exposed searching. Cache in hand, I took it away briefly to sign. During this time the site became muggle city and I had to wait a bit before making the return. Tftc!
Worked this one out last week sometime anf was crawling with muggles ad we came to search. Was a little quieter today though. Nice quick find. Tftc with isistibisi
Worked this one out last week but couldn't get it because it was too busy. Came back today and found it. Tftc with jakesrage
I tend to do multis in batches and I've done a bit of a run of them now (but DNFing a lot of them which is why I tend to be unenthusiastic about them). No problems with this one though. I didn't read 'f' correctly the first time and the checksum caught my error before I tried heading off to the wrong place. GZ was a reasonably short walk away and the map showed a path that should take me to it. I missed the cache on the first pass because when I don't know what I'm looking for I tend not to be able to see caches like this. But it is the perfect way to use a cache like this and it's surprising how rarely they actually used this way. A much better multi than I was expecting in an urban setting. TFTC.
23rd cache! Had a blonde moment and was looking at it but couldn’t see it oopsie it was dark though!
A quick working out of the coordinates and we landed at GZ to find an ambulance parked up in our spot. Lights were on inside... No driver... Hey it’s Valentines Day guys...
Snuck around, crunched some leaves, found and signed the cache, then ran off giggling when the paramedics arrived. TFTC

Early morning pause on my walk from accomodation.
Numbers stacked up then quickly got to the final. Thanks

Nice little multi and like so many caches takes me to places I havent been. TFTC.
#7 - TFTC, much appreciated, enjoyed the find log was dampish, added waterproof page and enclosed both in a zip-lock bag
I am working on a streak and my pocket computer tells me that today is also a multicache dot-day. So I looked at one cache but noticed it is a small so saved that for later - I need both on the same day later in the month. So instead picked this one.
Nice easy gather of the numbers, then off to the final. This is one of those classic hidden in the wide open yet no one sees it cache. Heck, you could probably spot the cache from 20m away!
Now for a nice stiff tail wind ride home!

My first ever multi in company of Muggle sister. Nice achievable puzzle-whew! Then a local stroll to final spot. Muggle free which was just as well...bright purple jacket! Found it in first spot I checked which makes a change!Happier cacher, thank you.
Took the train to petone on my day off to grab a couple of caches and perhaps a quick lunch somewhere. Solved the puzzle quickly and found the hide. Although a couple of muggles arrived at their car and I had to stand stock still for a while hoping they wouldnt notice me lurking weirdly in the bushes. Signed the log once they had left. Thanks for the cache. On to the next one
Overnighting at the Petone Workingman's Club before catching a ferry tomorrow. We went for a bit a wander to find a few more cache's. This was on our route. We got our maths correct and soon found the cache. A nice little hidden park and no muggles around.
Thanks zboy wonder.
Thanks zboy wonder.
It was a busy time in town today with a street fair. This area was quiet though and we gathered the info before a short walk to find the cache in another quiet spot. Thanks....
Gathered the info we needed at the coordinates to calculate gz. A short stroll for a quick easy find. TFTC
Quick work to get to the final. Found the cache and managed to get the lid off. Used a sharp tweezers to clean the grooves (which had damp paper stuck in them) and now the lid opens and closes like a dream. Threw away the soggy damp clump of mushy paper and placed a single piece of paper in there, so cache only needs a new log book and all good..
Did with Mycro Man, Ezratar, Wandering Dragons, Violet Butterfly and Astro Hunter. Thanks for the cache

Did today with the gang. Took a while to locate, but finally found the little guy. Needs a new log book, after we got it opened we put in a single sheet of paper (and got rid of the old mushy log). TFTC!

Enjoying my first stroll around Petone with my muggle friend, and wanted to demonstrate how caches hide neatly where people walk past unaware.
This one appealed to both of us, being confirmed book worms.
It helped to have a Checker for the maths as I wasn't sure if jetlag would affect my calculation, but the numbers made sense to the muggle when we saw the map position, so off we went.
It took a while for GPS to direct us to the exact host, but then I encountered the same problem as previous finders, neither of us could undo the container.
Photo log sent to C.O. by messaging system.
Greetings from a London visitor.
Thank you zboy wonder for placing & maintaining this cache.

This is a very late log but i know i visited it firstly about 18 months ago and couldn't find it and then a few months later i re visited it (when i was once again in wgtn visiting bro in law for his sept birthday) ) and i know i located it and in fact after mega i took my son to visit the puzzle and locate it once again so i was very surprised to see i had not logged when i saw a puzzle cache and thought i would check it out only to find i had already found it but not logged it.
thanks for the cache here at the lib. area.

Lovely little hide, managed to miss it the first time and was so engrossed in my search that I missed the lovely church goers coming out to their car that was hiding me from the world.
Thankfully on explaining what I was doing the son goes oh that (points at it) wondered why that was in the tree.
Cache is sodden and is now very full due to additional pieces of paper

enjoyed the nicely set up multi but the log sheet was sodden and I was unable to sign, tried adding a scrap of paper as a temporary log by wrapping it around the log sheet but that too got wet and I didn't want to remove the original log, will need maintenance by CO, TFTC
Thank you for this Multi, zboy wonder.
I have sent you a message via the App about the sodden log which I wasn't able to sign.
Cache spotted first by my muggle friend who was very excited - I may convert her yet !

Log sheet wet, and starting to fall apart.
There is a cable tie around the where the cache is tied that needs to be chopped off.
I didn't have any spares with me today otherwise I would have done it.

Find #3044. Caching day on the bike, completing 38kms around Lower Hutt, with the weather undecided if it wanted to be hot or cold, sunny or cloudy, but definitely windy from the SW. With the car parked at Petone Station, this was the first of the day. The library was closed so mostly quiet apart from the odd shopper from the supermarket and a couple of hopeful kids looking for the library to be open.
Gathered the numbers, then hopped on the bike for the short stint to the final. Easily found. SL TFTC

Bring your own pen. Log book is damp. Nicely camouflaged. Good start for my first cache.
Nice quick multi with granddaughter and little blue hen I was impressed the 7 and 3/4 could do the counting and the maths. Log very soggy and will. Need replacing. Tftcsl
A quick and easy find. I really liked the sofa at the published coordinates Thanks
A day spent driving up and down the Hutt Valley, and even into Wellington. finding one or two caches. Signed cache Ms+Mr KR.
Thanks to all CO's for placing and maintaining their caches. Cheers

Some early morning caching to start off the Mega event day. My goal is to get eleven different cache types today, and this is the selected multi cache. Quickly gathered the details and headed to the final. Found a cable tie, but no cache. A quick look on the ground, and there it was. Log book is very wet, so added another piece of paper, and re-attached cache to hide location with a piece of string. Will suggest maintenance. TFTC.
Sat out of the drizzle in the library to work out the coordinates. No problems there, warm in there too.
The final was a bit tricky as cars and muggles were coming and going. Spotted it though, once the GPS settled down. Took the log back to the car to fill in as it was already wet. Pen on wet paper can sometimes be tricky but in this occasion I had a good pen.
TFTC, cheers

Gathering the information was no problem, but getting the cache proved another story. Wasn’t easy to spot in the first place, the cache blended in nicely and also muggles. Was standing there filling in the log when a group of muggles approached. Made like a statue hoping they wouldn’t spot me in my hiding spot, could have been awkward otherwise. Thanks for the cache.
Easily found after the second attempt. Swung by this cache again while waiting for Grandma to finish at the supermarket. I'm happy to have this cache completed. Tftc

Hoping to see you at the [Oamaru Geofest](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC6M2V0_oamaru-geofest-2017) during Labour Weekend 21-22 October 2017. Let's all help this a successful event!
Thanks to the Cache Owner who has gone to the trouble of creating this cache, determining the coordinates and then averaging them to make sure they are accurate, placing the cache and registering it online for our enjoyment. Without Cache Owners doing their bit, there wouldn't be a fun hobby that we all love - so again a big THANK YOU. For our bit, all we need to do is find and log the cache that was carefully placed for our personal enjoyment. As we log it we should consider that the Cache Owner also needs to maintain it - when the log sheet fills up, they must replace it. When the container becomes full of water, they need to empty it. When the container is broken, they need to repair it. When it goes missing they need to find or replace it. Well..... the great news is we can do our bit too - make sure your log doesn't take an entire page - just a name and date. If full of water, empty and dry the cache as best as possible. Be careful when handling the cache and make sure you replace it where you found it. If it has a bag, seal it. Just remember - the Cache Owner showed respect to you by placing the cache - please respect them and fellow cachers that follow you by being careful with the cache. And if you have a spare log sheet and the cache you are at needs one, please leave it behind. Finally, if the cache does need maintenance, please let the Cache Owner know - you can log a Maintenance Log or you can drop a line to the Cache Owner. Above all - have fun and remember the Geocaching Code.

Definitely a good place for bookworms. So much information 'hidden' at this place; just like the cache -well hidden as it is so well camouflaged. TFTC
#320. A nice easy little Mystery little cache to keep my streak going. Not much of a day for caching as it's pretty windy in Petone, but at least it's not raining! I've been working my way through the Kiwi Geotrail puzzles in readiness for an attack in the not too distant future. It seems to be legendary around here, but as a newbie I am not sure if its significance. Tftc.
Team effort with B to get the info, then headed over to GZ to claim the cache before drinks and dinner. TFTC!
Had 30 to fill so this was the perfect cache. Easy clue gathering and quick find (by D) shortly after. TFTC zboy wonder.
Yay! Finally found a multi cache! Apparently my mind plays tricks on me when looking at the letter 'e' but thanks to the check I sorted it out. Was on the wrong side for a long time before I tried the other option.
Mrs Sobad filled in a few mi Utes waiting for the library to open yesterday collecting the required information. Back in the area today so it was a good time to collect the cache in case the coordinates got lost. It proved to also be a good time of year to look for the cache as it was an instant find.
Thanks. Always happy to visit libraries and collect caches.

Fortunately we got a carpark near entrance so could solve part 1 easily from the car. Part 2 was a little trickier as it was a pretty busy area this afternoon. Got there in the end thanks to the youngest geokid 'playing' near GZ. Tftc
In the area tackling the nearby earthcaches and had come prepared with a printout of the questions. I agreed with the sumcheck but I was a bit apprehensive when approaching GZ as the previous logger had no luck. I spotted it within seconds.
A nice quick multi to complete and then off to the final. This took a little more scouting to pin down the cache, but fortunately all was quiet there today.

Its Waitangi Day and I am meeting a friend for breakfast in Petone. I left home half an hour early so I would have some time to look for this cache on the way there. I've found that early morning on the weekends (or long weekend holidays, as in this case) is a good time to look for multis because there are so few people around. Unfortunately there were three very drunk individuals hanging around the library area. Not to be deterred, I found that could collect all the information I needed from the car with the doors locked.
The cache itself is in good condition. All nice and dry.
Thank you

My heart sank as I approached this one, it looked like the tree had been removed, but fortunately it was the tree next door. The cache is still in place and waiting for a book worm...
Greetings from Canada. No luck finding this. - will have to try again before leaving and checking a little farther afield.
#2442 Out on my bike in the sunshine this afternoon and swinging by some caches to make the area a bit more smiley. I had made a brief attempt at this one quite a few weeks ago but was driven away by the rain that really set in but today was gloriously sunny so I stuck around until I made the find. A bit off from where the coords said it would be but in a spot that made sense. Muggles have just got back to their car and I'm writing this while I wait for them to leave. TFTC!
Waiting for junior geoteen to finish at a table tennis tournament - just time for a quick multi. TFTC
Great puzzle. Read the activity log if you're stuck, helped point us in the right direction. TFTC
One I have been meaning to do for ages. Found myself parked in Jackson Street on an unrelated errand and it was only a short walk to get the information, and then go find the nicely hidden cache.

StreetWalker and I are spending the day in the Wellington / Lower Hutt area before heading back to the mainland tomorrow, so we took the opportunity to find a cache or two, especially solved puzzles.
SW did the groundwork for this multi while I was shopping with my sister but ran out of time when looking for the cache, so after lunch, we both had a look for it. Not an instant find, but eventually I tracked it down in a location we had looked in several times. Always find these sorts of hides troublesome, especially when there are lots of places to search. #12069. Troodles and I agreed to meet in Jackson Street. I was a bit early, and saw this mutli was nearby, so went and gathered the info. I had time to go to GZ and look for the final, but I didn't spot it in the time I had. After our coffee appointment in central Wellington, we had some time for some caching in the Hutt, so I brought Troodles back for a look. Muggles at GZ were not a problem. but there were a lot of muggles just over the fence. Even with two of us looking it it took a while to spot. TFTC.
