Out in the PeuGEOt today with little Geocache hunting in our old home area of Gisborne/Sunbury.TFTC
*Intervening Days 2023 Adventure #9*I've been to the Intervening Days CITO, but I've ducked away for a couple before the Social Event.I've met a few people who could be described as such. Thanks heaps, Sorceysal!
Next find in what was neat and fun series to do. Weather was good and I took my time and enjoyed the day out. Some great themed caches along the way.
Thanks for the effort with all these. Cache here was all good. Fav point added.

It didn't take me long to arrive at GZ after my previous find further up this road. When I arrived at GZ, I found a safe place to park my car off the road and managed to locate this cache very quickly in its cute little on-theme hide. Sure is built like a brick house! I quickly opened the cache to sign the logbook. After signing, I replaced it back where I found it and returned to my car before continuing my adventure down the road. I was also pleased to see the cache and its contents were all in good condition.

We just got back from overseas yesterday and the countries visited had hardly any caches, so we are well behind in this month's wheel of challenge. So, a huge day of caching: ad labs, trads and of course hunting out those with lots of favourite points. This find took longer than it should have, it was obvious, to someone who didn't have jetlag perhaps!
What a great series this is. Love the cache containers and the fun I had finding the. Fantastic TFTC. I was hoping to find an old toilet but not today.
Out this way for work today so decided to collect a bunch of smiley faces. The weather was terrible and the slippery road made the voyage a little longer than expected.
Cache is in good condition!! Thanks for the hide

We had a lovely day caching in the Toolern Vale area with Boabtree.
What a great series this is, all relating to sayings. We found the brick…..house.
Thanks sorceysal and Dutch Frangipani.

Out and about with Echidna44, we found the bricks and found the cache, but the missing .... ingredient was missing, thank goodness. Nice hide.
While staying in Melbourne we picked up a few caches in the area and this was one of them.
What a fantastic series, really enjoyed the theme. Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks sorceysal and Dutch Frangipani for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Nothing like a brick. Anticipation has become high now that I've had a taste of Dutch Frangipani & sorceysal caches and humour. Returning to home base in the NE via circuitous route as I’m on a mighty large LGA and multi mission so it’s Melton here I come today. It’s been hugely interesting to be in the flat country and witness the urban expansion but a relief to get marginally hillier or maybe rolling is the name in this basalt country. TFTC and the FUN - glad I came!
Got to spend father day with my son today. He's 13, so geocahing isn't as cool as it once was, but we had fun anyway. Thanks for the caches though...
Getting the hang of what we were supposed to be looking for now.
Getting the hang of what we were supposed to be looking for now.
Had to make a trip to the airport today so decided to do a few caches on the way home. My usual way through Sunbury was held up by a traffic accident so i looped around via m80, found a new lot of caches to tackle and away i go. Nice hide and suits its name, i am enjoying this series, its good fun anticipating the next cache.
Out with Bogonghazy for a midweek drive and fitting in a sone Geocaching. Thanks for placing the geocache. Nice hide
Name of the cache was spot on. We found it quick enough, however the log was soaked making it hard to sign. It was a very clever cache indeed!
Melbourne Cup Monday the unofficial Public Holiday!!! We decided last week to go for a drive to visit Regional Vic, we headed up towards the airport and headed north winding our way to Romsey for Lunch, across and over Mount Macedon before venturing south and finishing up near Calder Park, We ended up with 30 finds, one DNF, and lots of laughs. Thanks for all the cache owners for placing their caches.
Campbell was out like a shot thinking it would be easy, but after a few minutes we joined in the hunt, Trent found the little house!!

Found but the book is soaked, as is everything in the cache. May need to be replaced!
On a road trip to Bendigo when we spotted these caches with a large number of favourites so detoured off the highway to check them out. This wasn't what we were expecting or where we were expecting to find it either but there were bricks involved. It was Mr Pooky who eventually made the find. TFTC.
Found at 9:31 am.
Today Fleabag- wanted to find his 6,000th cache with me before he headed off on a work trip so a lofty goal of 74 caches was needed but we got there even though 3 caches into the day the low pressure tyre warning flashed up on the dashboard and we had a slow leaking flat tyre. We mucked around for way too long trying to work out how to change it. It was on the drivers side too ... the wheel that wasn't pulling off onto the side of the road all the time?? I haven't had a flat tyre for probably 20+ years and RACV changed that last one. So for the rest of the day the paranoia of having another flat was hanging over my head and occasionally with the non alloy spare wheel the tyre pressure sensor failure message starting coming up on the dashboard instead. We made it though without another flat on a LOT of gravel roads that Fleabag- managed to keep finding.
I was expecting something different here but I made the find before Fleabag- here. Yes!
Thanks sorceysal and Dutch Frangipani for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Started the day needing 74 more for my 6000. And my awesome geobuddy was the person I wanted to share this with. The cache is not that important, it's the adventure. So off we went heading north with a mission. And probably lots of maccas.
Another nice cache.
Thanks to sorceysal and Dutch Frangipani for the placement and fun.

We set out this morning for a caching run with ilook4geo and tried to cover a variety of cache types, various sizes and caches of particular interest. This series covered a lot of these targets.
This was an easy cache to find and we look forward to each of the caches in this series of "sayings".
Thanks for a fun series go to sorceysal and Dutch Frangipani and thanks for all the relevant camo used.

Out for the day on a cache hunt with goingplaces2. We found a total of 42 for the day and had a lot of fun. This was one of the ones we found and signed. TFTC.
Out on a caching adventure in Sunbury with Kristysadventures. A much quicker find after the last one. TFTC
For some reason I was expecting a little toilet...this was much cooler.
Love the creativity here! Great fun.

Today I decided that I would head towards the Sunbury area as for some reason I haven't cached there yet. I have wanted to do the TSS series for a while and today was my chance.
I had no issue finding this one. TFTC.

Found with teamashy. We were heading to Sunbury and did a detour! Signed log and returned as found. TFTC
Found this one quite fast.. just a little hard to get after hurting my knee at a past cache :/ but thank you for the find
I enjoyed finding the caches in this series today. The different nature of the hides made for a fun experience. most were found without too many problems. TFTC
After looking through a few piles of kangaroo poop. I thought I should change my search tactic. And them BOOM there it was right in front of me!
The end of the month was almost upon us and I hadn't quite reached 100 caches. I'd originally planned to leave two particular series' along with the original TSS and a smattering of others for 50 in a day but the desire to reach 100 for the month took precedence.
I didn't manage the 50 yesterday so I was back again today to get the numbers up. The caches were of high quality, there were few muggles about and the worst that could be said was that the weather was a little too warm for my linking. Almost all the caches were found in good condition barring Wet your Whistle and it's neighbours to either side. The logs really need replacing as they are more than a little damp. I'm sorry that I didn't have replacements to hand.

2nd one for the day and 7th for the year.
I started all your traditional ones last year. And since the weather was so nice I thought I would try and finish them off!
Great little hide again. Thank you

I reckon I got Buckley’s of ever being built like that!
Thanks for placing TSS Built like a brick ....house so we could find it. Many thanks sorceysal for the caching fun.

The late logging continues, another day later than the last few.
RGSBruce and I spent a bit of the last day of 2018 hunting for enough caches to earn the trackable souvenir and the thanks 2018 souvenir. RGSBruce had planned to tackle the TSS caches for a while and, as they're not too far from home base we made them a mini power-trail. By the time we got to this cache we'd well and truly earned both souvenirs, but figured we might as well hit the rest of the trail since we were having so much fun.
Another nicely executed cache in line with the theme of the series.

Continuing with the day late logs for yesterday's finds. Back to the mundane story line of the adventure.
The main aim of hunting this series was for HerIndoorsOutdoors and me to accrue enough points for the challenge souvenir. By the time we got to this cache, we had well and truly accomplished the task. But then there is the 'while we're here we might as well find the rest of them' philosophy or the 'the perfect number of caches to find is one more than you have already found'. So on we continued.
We were doing so well with the instincts and observational skills we persevered with the iPhone and chose not to release the GyPSy from its cage. The lack of accurate direction still wasn't holding us up much, so we went on enjoying the extra challenge and the themes of each new cache. This is definitely an interesting and well thought out series.

Took a while to locate and the retrieval was messy with the lid falling off and the contents going everywhere. The cache was hard to find too!
Our OC went in on his own. He could relate to this hide & liked the camo. He came up with he’s own saying “after the morning brew is the morning constitutional ”

Find # 7571
Found while heading down to Melbourne for the weekend.
Well a trip that would normally take a little over 2.5 hours to do, today took a happy (and a little bit zig zaggy) 8.5 hours.
And a few more than 55 stops to grab the caches on my hit list. All ranging from micros up to larges.
With the day being a scorcher out on the game board ment that water was needed all the while. And plenty of sunscreen.
Thankfully with all the bark, logs, bushes and false tops moved to access caches no snakes were out, me thinks it was too hot for them today too.
This was my second series today and once again the series of caches here were all great fun hides with good themed caches. Once again it was well worth the detour off the main Hwy on my way to Melbourne.
All caches found were in good order, unless stated above.

Accurate coordinates led to a quick find of an interesting cache container. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks sorceysal and Dutch Frangipani for the cache.
Going to say that my work shoes aren’t fit for this, massive thorn impaled my foot on cache 7 of the night tftc
Can the next person who visits this cache kindly message me in the Geocaching App as to whether or not my trackable is in this cache? Thanks.
Bunadoorian and I were out today to get a few caches before attending a CITO and then Come and Visit Parkville Nov 2018 in Ballarat. We thought we would do the TSS V1 today seeing we did TSS V2 - last weekend. TFTC Dutch Frangipani and Sorceysal . 4 of 18 today.
Grub62 and I are out to get a few caches on the way to a CITO and an event in Ballarat. This is a nice easy series. Very clever and well done. TFTC
we've been looking forward to seeing what the next cache brings. Found it
