Thanks Dutch Frangipani & sorceysal for the cache!

Found something resembling a paper log. Will need replacement to something waterproof for these water loving birds.

15-Jul-17
We soon had this one sorted after circling and inspecting the gz closely. Another fun little hide while tackling the series this afternoon, found with omegaman1971 while out grabbing a few smilies and laughs together. Thanks Dutch Frangipani & sorceysal for the cache.

Out and about with Happy Pants
in an area I haven't cached before.
Have had this series on my to do list for awhile, was great to be finally tackling it.
A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush?
Cool, quick field puzzle.
Cheers for the cache

We have known about this series since it came out with friends living on Ryans Lane and finally we decided to grab it today. We saw the first one and thought, ah, nice, and then saw the others and got a good laugh. It took some time, like others, to finally find the cache with the log.

Found by Team Justice #1631.

03-Apr-17
Found with Ogston girls. Grandad found the necessary log which.is full. Tftc

03-Apr-17
The eldest son, on a roll, decided to emphasise parts of the phrase here too, but it went over his siblings head a bit. But he had had his find and wasn't as upset when one of the girls spotted the field puzzle. It took a moment to find the log, and then another moment - or three - to undo the container. Finally after employment of the corner of my t-shirt, for grip, I got into it, and could sign my name

05-Mar-17
Tricky.... but found the little one in the end. Log close to full . TFTC

While staying in Keilor with a friend for a couple of days we decided to get out of the high traffic areas to go caching. This was a series that looked appealing and it did not disappoint. The sayings were all ones we were familiar with and we loved the creativity and so allocate a fav point for each. The multi A stones throw away was more like a Needle in a Haystack as we found the container for wp1 but with no further coords to wp2. So we started looking for a slip of paper but to no avail so we widened our search to a stones throw and after looking in a few likely spots came up with the cache. We then wrote done the coords for wp2 and left it in wp 1. Thank Dutch Frangipani for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area. Big GrinBig Grin

Very funny and quite poetic. Yes, birds flocked together had me thinking for a little. Clearly they do like this spot and that was obvious. A previous log had me a little worried that there was no log to sign. Surely there was, but where? Aha, of course it would be there.

Thankyou Dutch Frangipani for another well executed cache.

09-Feb-17
I found the duck but no log to sign.

05-Feb-17
Pulled over to find this
cache. I located the right one and went back to the Geowagon to grab a couple of cable ties to repair the broken string.
Was stopped by a grumpy old local in a silver ute who accused me of illegally dumping rubbish. I told him what I was doing here and he said that I would find nothing but rubbish and no "treasure" as he called it would be found . He even took a photo of wagons number plate. Oh Well.
Apart from that a clever mystery and an easy find TFTC

04-Feb-17
A quick and easy find as we cache our way through the area today. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.

Needs a check. I found cache laying on the ground. String had broken. I replaced it in the tree as best that i could. but needs new string or electrical cable tie may be stronger if possible. Great cache. Cheers UGCT.

**Find #716**

Birds of a feather do stick together, but occasionally one might stray. After looking for about 10min's I spotted some feathers on the ground,. The log was signed and replaced on a perch. Clever cache idea. Well done **Dutch Frangipani.** TFTC

Knocked off work earlier today because it has been a big week, lots of hours, now it's time to relax and get my caching mojo back.
I really hate being ducked around at a cache, but this time I love it...
**Thanks for placing this cache Dutch Frangipani**

A favorite for sure...

19-Nov-16
A bit of a search here, but got it in the end! Thanks for the hide(s), this is a busy stretch of dirt track!

09-Nov-16
We have had this puzzle solved for some time but until today, we have not had the opportunity to look for the cache. The name of the cache made sense as soon as we arrived at GZ. We could understand why young children would be attracted to this cache. The logbook was located after a short search. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Dutch_Frangipani for the puzzle and cache.

07-Nov-16
Those birds of a feather really do stick together!! Thanks DF, we had a laugh here. Found today with Motndarg and The Tritonz.

07-Nov-16
The Tritonz, McLookers and myself had a chuckle when we found GZ . Sorted the little things out, signed the log and moved onto the next cache. Just a thought , these birds may not stick together in a couple of years time after all the rain and lots of growth!! Good work and a favourite is given.

07-Nov-16
Starting at the top of TSS we worked our way down through this fun series in the company of McLookers and Motndarg, running back and forth from the hides to the car in intermittent rain. We all enjoyed a laugh at the most appropriate hides and started a game to see who could guess what the next one would be in relation to the saying.
Had a good laugh when we spotted the feathered birds all in close proximity to each other, a favourite added.
Thanks Dutch Frangipani for the very cool placement.

What a lovely series of caches - a lot of fun was had. After a while I could imagine the cache container before spotting it. Love your work and humour. Well done. Lots of laughs!!

Thanks to Dutch Frangipani and *clear skies* from TeamAstro. Cache the planet!

21-Sep-16
Out for a few hours caching with 'jeckleberry and tedd', her two daughters (one is 'CharliBear10) and a muggle friend. Most logs were signed 'Team JCC' (to save time and space).
The girls were quick to spot the cache container and spent a few minutes examining the locality. The muggle friend had never seen this type of log. A great little hide. TFTC.

Out for an afternoon of Geocaching with Cathlud and my Geokids. Also have a hanger on in Geokid1s (CharliBear10) best friend who has never cached before. This series was an excellent intro to caching as all containers were unique. We were all very impressed.

Just realised that I forgot to write on all my logs that we've been signing at TeamJCC to save us time. Will need to go back and edit all the logs. Grrrr. Anyway, I digress. LOVED this cache. Super cute. Found by Cathlud, geokid2 and muggle friend. I was unfortunately acting as a walking aid to geokid1 who must have secretly broken her leg or be out to win an Oscar. How many days of school holidays left?? TFTC.

Edited to add: Signed as TeamJCC

19-Sep-16
went out and paid this cache a little TLC today by replacing the full log with a brand new one.

07-Sep-16
Today I went out and cleaned out all the caches I haven't done around the Melton area. First I was looking in the wrong spot then I saw something and then another and another these things kept appearing then I found the right one. TFTC

I didn't know what to expect with this one, but this certainly wasn't it! our first cache after being rescued and it didn't disappoint. Searching, squeezing, swearing until we had the log in hand. Clever idea this one!

13-Aug-16
Found by Mary & David at 1220. On a puzzle mission this month, so we detoured on the way home from Lal Lal to find this one. Good to see you this morning and be able to help out. Took a couple of circuits of GZ before we recognised our goal. Lots of laughs and a FP. Had to log as "mm" along one edge as the log is full. Needs a new one next time you are passing. Our thanks to Dutch Frangipani.

Out for some caching on my birthday. Geomum found this one. Why didn't we think of that spot last time.

02-May-16
I first looked at the wrong GZ, unsure of what I was searching for. And then it hit me - a bolder than expected hid which sure gets a FP from me for the fun.
Thanks for the cache and the creative series, Sorceysal and Dutch Frangipani.

Finally get to finish this trail, well nearly only hope not too many NANOs in bush to find, but did love this one hide is in good condition, not sure how many birds are here but did count 6 thanks Dutch Frangipani for all the hides along this trail, this one gets a favourite from me

30-Apr-16
Took a little longer but we found it. Great hide thanks!

27-Apr-16
Not sure about this one

18-Apr-16
Made plans to head out with the family and na'wal. The plan was to achieve 100 in a day by completing the mount disappointment series then by going home via Sunbury and Melton. The daily total ended up being 113.
The day started with a car/truck collision on the freeway so we were stuck for around half hour and then back on our way.

Lucky 100th for the day. A very enjoyable day it was. Thanks for contributing. And a wonderful cache to get it on.

Log signed and replaced.

I was a bit early for a barbecue in the northwestern suburbs, so decided to take the scenic route to fill in the time. As I'd been eyeing off this series for a while, it seemed like today was a good day for it.

What a fun lot of sayings... and containers. One of the most amusing collections I've visited; the chuckles just kept on coming. Thanks, sorceysal and Dutch Frangipani.

And I thought the previous find was funny...

### Find **# 3504** Mystery **# 349** Big Grin ###

A plan was in place for Buzzsmc and myself to make our way back to the Mt Disappointment series for 61-130 and cache through Sunbury & Melton then head home. Our target goal was 100 caches in a day which we were able to fulfill and ended with 113 caches for the day with only 2 DNF's. After an early start, we got stuck on the Geelong freeway with a car and truck accident, after a 30 minute delay we were back on track and off and running for the day. A great day out, our thanks to the CO's for placing these caches.

We guessed this one straight away. We have been quite surprised at how busy this road is. We have to keep waiting for muggle cars to pass before searching. Another quick, fun find. Signed and returned as found.

**Thanks for this puzzle cache and series, sorceysal and Dutch Frangipani.** [^]
**My favourite from this series [^]**
**Log and container in good condition.**

Find # 9 in this series...wasn't sure I could do this one but I am so glad I stopped as it wasn't what I was expecting...very clever cache....one little bird had taken flight and crashed so I restored it to where I thought it should have been. A favourite for this one! Many thanks for this cache Dutch Frangipani.

TFTC. We had decided to stay in Hillside with team Stacie&Mitch for another night with the intention of completing the RRR trail and then because we were close the TSS trail. This morning with two thirds of team Stacie&Mitch (two grand children ) we set of for a day of quality time with number 1 grand daughter and number 3 grandson.
The TSS trail was a fantastic adventure the grand children learnt new expressions and it was a joy to be on a quiet backroad. The finds were not terribly difficult, the best part was the cache design. We have given a favourite point to each cache as the thought that went into every one of them was brilliant. It was a bonza morning caching.
Took a few minutes to spot the right hide. Log is full.

06-Jan-16
TFTC-Another day spent with Hans and Linda .Today we found 37 caches today and didn't have one DNF we did all of the RRR and TSS trails on Melton highway and Ryan road . Hans and Linda are heading back out tomorrow before lunch .special thanks to Little squirell we mite go and visit eucha.

What a fun series, with it's falling apples, thirsty lizards, high horses and wet whistles; among many other sayings which may have more significance for cachers of a certain age. Not sure why this is a Mystery/Puzzle cache - actually a Traditional with field puzzle.
FEEDBACK TO CO: New log needed - didn't have any this size- sorry.

Our thanks to Dutch Frangipani for bringing us to this location.

I've had this series on my to do list for a while and this morning I decided I needed to come out here for a caching fix so here I am. This was found with good coordinates on a very windy day, but that didn't stop the flies from harassing me. Its also a much busier road than I expected....lots of fun. Thanks Dutch Frangipani.

Was supposed to do these caches on the way to the mega on Friday but due to one thing and another ended up with just 3 caches on Friday. So now doing them on the way home further delayed due to City to Bay run!! Tftc and series and apologies for generic log. I think I just favorited a nano!

After attending a fellow geocacher's birthday event nearby, we had a spare hour to see if we could finish off the remaining half a dozen of this series that we didn't get to complete last December after Intervening Days. This cache was missing back then and we had been muggled out at the next one, so it was really nice to be back to see the rest of these very creative caches. This one had us looking for a few minutes before we finally found the cache. TFTC Dutch Frangipani and Sorceysal.

31-Oct-15
This was one of only two places where local muggles obviously saw us but continued minding their own business. This was lucky for us as we did spend a few minutes here trying to tell the feathers apart. Eventually, the vulture - bird of a different feather - made the find here.
Main log in the flat-out lizard's empty dam.

17-Oct-15
It has been a while since I done a caching run & being a weekend and the forecast looking promising - I decided upon a run in the Melton area. A quick call to tidder and by 11am, we were well and truly on the way. We couldn't ask for a better day - in fact the weather was supreme, and with NO muggles to contend with, the trail was EZI enough and as a whole, the series was executed with perfection - the thought process behind the 'saying' was the icing on the cake.

The Hide:
Ok at first I was a little confused by it being a mystery hide - BUT, I quickly overcome the confusion and managed to nail the little sucker - cute hide indeed

Overall a worthy series - shall recommend.

Once again many Thx to the CO

17-Oct-15
This one had shogun and I a little puzzled and then things started to appear all over the location. Shogun had the keen eye and soon we were signing the log and now safely back again.

19-Sep-15
Out and about on a lovely early Spring day.
We headed to Melton and enjoyed the TSS series a lot.
The kids thought the containers were rippers and the adults did too!
We appreciate the time taken for the unique hides and lots of fav points going out.
This would have been a bit trickier a couple of weeks ago but today it wasn't too hard.

19-Sep-15
Found with Mum, Dad and Maeve.
This was a really fun cache and I enjoyed the day out too.
Thanks for hiding the cache for us to find.

19-Sep-15
Found with Mum, Dad and Eddie.
It was great to go for a drive in the nice sunny weather.
There were some funny containers i liked holding and seeing.
Thanks for hiding the cache for us to find.

13-Sep-15
Loved this one, probably our favourite of the series. Almost thought we were going to have to give up & finally spotted it! Great cache! You've done a brilliant job with this series, thanks

01-Sep-15
This one had us going around in circles for a while, but dad eventually found the right one. The little ones were delighted, though the 3 year old couldn't understand why we wouldn't pick them for him. As others have mentioned, the flowers certainly increase the difficulty. It would be nice to have enough favourite points for many of this series, but we decided to give it to this one, as it was the one we enjoyed the most of the whole series. TFTC!

20-Aug-15
Travelling around Australia and we are currently staying in Woodend.

Headed down to the big smoke to do some shopping and spied this series. Made sure we tackled it whilst nearby.

OMG our head hangs low here. How long did it take us to sign the log!!! In fact we were almost at the point of logging a DNF....

Boy sometimes you just don't get it the first time. Love this type of cache.

TFTC Dutch Frangipani

Awesome, another lol moment, and hence another favourite point. Must have been the last one I checked. This was all the more difficult with the tree in flower. Cheers!

Todays Drive took us out onto the TSS Trail. What a great drive it was we enjoyed every single one we did. All nice & different with a lot of thought put in to the cammo for the different caches.
This is the type of puzzle that I like, such a novel idea. Favourite point added.
Thanks for placing this cache Dutch Frangipani & sorceysal
