Really enjoyed this series

16-Aug-24
We barked up every tree within about ten metres of the first coordinates before resorting to a PAF. With the final coordinates in my device at last a pleasant stroll up the road got me into a tangle of rusty old barbed wire before finding the cache after disentangling myself. Lovely location!

Finally found the cache No idea what took us so long but had fun looking Thanks for the cache

27-Oct-23
Nicely done. After the first tree gave up its information, it was a short search at the right tree to reveal the log. Tftc

Shame about all the rubbish initially missed finding the cache on first pass then spied in well camouflaged in.

Next find in what was neat and fun series to do. Weather was good and I took my time and enjoyed the day out. Some great themed caches along the way.

Thanks for the effort with all these. Cache here was all good. Fav point added.

25-Jun-23
After having had a relatively successful day geocaching so far, it was now time for me to attempt this one. This was the second multi-cache I found today.

As I was driving along the road, I took my eyes off my GPS for a bit too long and realised I had overshot WP1. I decided it would be best to park where I was and walk back to WP1 instead of reversing down the road. I quickly hopped out of my car and began making the small trek back down the road towards WP1, this time keeping an eye on my GPS making sure I don't overshoot it again! After a brief walk, I soon arrived at GZ of WP1. I managed to locate the coordinates for WP2 relatively quickly and, after entering them into my GPS, began making my way towards it. While walking towards WP2, I noticed the coordinates appeared to be lining up very close to my car. As it turns out, overshooting WP1 initially meant that I had now parked my car practically next to the cache! The final hide was located with relative ease. Like many finders before me, I also signed both logs.

That’s a good one well done

Yep, like others m, both logs were signed. I love this one too, gets a fav.

What a great series this is. Love the cache containers and the fun I had finding the. Fantastic TFTC. Signed both logs in the two caches

25-Apr-23
While staying in Melbourne we picked up a few caches in the area and this was one of them.

What a fantastic series, really enjoyed the theme. A great multi, cache and contents were in good condition and adding to our favourites.

Thanks sorceysal and Dutch Frangipani for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

19-Apr-23
Out with Boabtree, we had a lovely day caching in the Toolern Vale area.
We found two caches here but not together, both were for this cache. We signed both and replaced them. Thanks Dutch Frangipani.

19-Apr-23
Out and about with Echidna44, I found one cache and Echidna found another. Hers was much more on the theme than mine, but both had signed logs and also the GC code written on the logsheet. Hmmm. What to do. We signed both.

28-Jan-23
Love a quick multi
Barked up the right tree both times here...

Thanks

Yep - barked up the wrong tree for a wee while! Anticipation has become high now that I've had a taste of Dutch Frangipani & sorceysal caches and humour. Returning to home base in the NE via circuitous route as I’m on a mighty large LGA and multi mission so it’s Melton here I come today. It’s been hugely interesting to be in the flat country and witness the urban expansion but a relief to get marginally hillier or maybe rolling is the name in this basalt country. TFTC and the FUN - glad I came!

Caching through the area this afternoon with +Wife and our GeoMutts, EveTheStaffy and MaxTheCollie.
Our dogs get severe cases of **"Cache Cabin Fever"** ; as do we.
Today was the perfect opportunity to rectify that dilemma.

Getting lucky with a quick find at WP1, catnap777 and I wandered off to GZ where our prize was found even quicker. Razz
If there was supposed to be anything "up" about this cache, there wasn't anything "up" with it when we discovered it out and exposed at low altitude. Wink
After signing duties, the cache was returned BOT under light natural cover. [^]
I hope this log is helpful if any relocation maintenance is required. Red Face After all, I wouldn't want to send anyone barking up the wrong tree. Twisted

Found and signed with dalerious on a trip to Bacchus Marsh attending a CITO, and doing our bit for the community by planting seedlings along the Werribee River Cool.

What an interesting set of caches. A fabulous mix of cache types and containers that matched the theme.
We didn't sign all of them today, sourceysal, but we will be back to do so, you can bank on it Big Grin.

06-Apr-22
Had to make a trip to the airport today so decided to do a few caches on the way home. My usual way through Sunbury was held up by a traffic accident so i looped around via m80, found a new lot of caches to tackle and away i go. This one had me wondering and wandering for a while especially in light of the recent dnf logs. But it looks like it is back together with a new log in place. Thanks for your work here.

Thank you the spider is massive, took us a while to find it

21-Jun-20
Spiffy- and I decided a few multi caches were in order for today plus a few other random caches. The forecast was for lots of rain, but we managed to stay dry.

First part discovered then off we went for a quick find.

Thanks to Dutch Frangipani & sorceysal for the placement and fun.

21-Jun-20
Found at 2:08 pm.
Fleabag- and I had a few hours today and thought we would slowly start working our way towards a couple of different multi cache challenges plus a few other random caches. Forecast was for showers but we managed to avoid them the whole time which was brilliant.
Another unusual description with an unknown task on arrival. Sound found the first clue, woof woof then another short walk to GZ for a log book. Woof woof again.
Thanks Dutch Frangipani & sorceysal for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

29-Feb-20
We set out this morning for a caching run with ilook4geo and tried to cover a variety of cache types, various sizes and caches of particular interest. This series covered a lot of these targets.
This was an easy cache to find and we look forward to each of the caches in this series of "sayings". Nice easy multi as we looked in the right places first try.
Thanks for a fun series go to sorceysal and Dutch Frangipani and thanks for all the relevant camo used.

We needed to find a Multicache today and so having just found the COs nearby Challenge cache we decided to undertake this one. What a great fun cache, especially stage 1! - stage 2 was also quickly located. We signed the log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the cache and just so sorry that we didn't have time today to do the whole series. Greetings from Zimbabwe

05-Nov-19
Classic! This one was my favourite I think. A lot of effort has gone into this series. No idea where I am. Melton? Bacchus? Diggers? Somewhere out in the sticks.

17-Aug-19
Today I decided that I would head towards the Sunbury area as for some reason I haven't cached there yet. I have wanted to do the TSS series for a while and today was my chance.

A quick find of the cache at WP1 led to a quick find of the cache at the GZ. TFTC.

I enjoyed finding the caches in this series today. The different nature of the hides made for a fun experience. most were found without too many problems. TFTC

05-Apr-19
There is nothing to see here. Just a tree with some bark... maybe... after passing a nearby farmer, I was concerned he would turn around and check what I was doing. Boy was I glad when he didn’t! I was left to cache in peace! Thanks for placing this cache Dutch Frangipani & sorceysal

26-Mar-19
I think id rather bark up the first tree. The second one was crawling with nasty soldier ants eeeekk. Found the cache all looks to be well!

28-Feb-19
The end of the month was almost upon us and I hadn't quite reached 100 caches. I'd originally planned to leave two particular series' along with the original TSS and a smattering of others for 50 in a day but the desire to reach 100 for the month took precedence.
I didn't manage the 50 yesterday so I was back again today to get the numbers up. The caches were of high quality, there were few muggles about and the worst that could be said was that the weather was a little too warm for my linking. Almost all the caches were found in good condition barring Wet your Whistle and it's neighbours to either side. The logs really need replacing as they are more than a little damp. I'm sorry that I didn't have replacements to hand.

We thought we would be barking up the wrongun there for a minute when the owner of the property came to the door of his man cave and eyed us with suspicion. To prove there was nothing sus we crankily kicked the tyres. Distracting enough for me to quickly take a gawk at what we needed and move down the frog and toad.
Thanks for placing TSS - Barking up the Wrong Tree so we could find it. Many thanks Dutch Frangipani for the caching fun.

12:13, 31 December 2018. #203.

The late logging continues, another day later than the last few.

RGSBruce and I spent a bit of the last day of 2018 hunting for enough caches to earn the trackable souvenir and the thanks 2018 souvenir. RGSBruce had planned to tackle the TSS caches for a while and, as they're not too far from home base we made them a mini power-trail. By the time we got to this cache we'd well and truly earned both souvenirs, but figured we might as well hit the rest of the trail since we were having so much fun.

We had planned to only do the traditional caches, not having worked out the mysteries first, but both the multis turned out to be so quick that we did them as well.

12:13, 31 December 2018. #1477.

Continuing with the day late logs for yesterday's finds. Back to the mundane story line of the adventure.

The main aim of hunting this series was for HerIndoorsOutdoors and me to accrue enough points for the challenge souvenir. By the time we got to this cache, we had well and truly accomplished the task. But then there is the 'while we're here we might as well find the rest of them' philosophy or the 'the perfect number of caches to find is one more than you have already found'. So on we continued.

We were only going to hunt traditionals this trip and pick up detail for the multis, but the temptation to carry on and find GZ was too much and we tested our powers of observation on them as well. We particularly liked the theme on this one and thought it might have been nice to bring our geo-dogs to do the barking for us Smile. This is definitely an interesting and well thought out series.

Got scared off this on the first way through, so I back tracked after doing two more, and the codger had disappeared into it's cave. Nice short multi again, the spooder didn't get me, and the dog was not as bad as his bite.

31-Dec-18
Walked straight past wp1 wandering around for a few minutes. Returning to the geomobile we realised where we should of been looking & then proceeded to wp2 where the prize was located on the 2nd sweep. TFTC DF & S xo

Find # 7570

Found while heading down to Melbourne for the weekend.

Well a trip that would normally take a little over 2.5 hours to do, today took a happy (and a little bit zig zaggy) 8.5 hours.
And a few more than 55 stops to grab the caches on my hit list. All ranging from micros up to larges.

With the day being a scorcher out on the game board ment that water was needed all the while. And plenty of sunscreen.

Thankfully with all the bark, logs, bushes and false tops moved to access caches no snakes were out, me thinks it was too hot for them today too.

This was my second series today and once again the series of caches here were all great fun hides with good themed caches. Once again it was well worth the detour off the main Hwy on my way to Melbourne.

All caches found were in good order, unless stated above.

Accurate coordinates led to the information at WP1 being found very quickly and we loved the container. We then headed to GZ where, once again, accurate coordinates led to a quick find. the cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Dutch Frangipani and sorceysal for the cache.

Hmmm... it would be good if we could find the first tree in the first place! Felt like a bit of a goose when we found it, but had the WP2 coords in hand and then a quick jog (we are getting close to needed to get to the plane) to the right tree.

Time for me to hit the TSS trail and what a trail it was-Sooooo fun! I loved the effort and creativity that went into this series and every time each one gave me a giggle!

Spent the day cruising the back roads of Bacchus Marsh and Melton turning green boxes into smilies.
I must've missed the invite as this was a busy road tonight which delayed finding and returning a few caches with17 finds and 1 DNF.
Log signed and replaced as found.

Well this was a nice multi. We liked the way GZ coords were delivered in such a novel way in line with the theme of this cache. Again it was just Will and I , but we had to get Mrs P to help read the coords - that had slightly faded. Mrs P always does the work for the multis, so why change this time. With coords sorted, we were off to bark up the right tree and sign the cache. This one gets a fave from us for the fun. Really enjoying this series Dutch Frangipani and sorceysal.

**Find #982**

This was my 2nd visit here. Last time I DNF'd. And it was the only one that I didn't find of the series. Anyway returned today and the cache was an easy find. Sometimes you just can't see for looking. The numbers on WP1 are starting to fade, so at some stage they will need to be fixed. Well done **Dutch Frangipani** for an excellent series. Glad I wasn't barking up the wrong tree today. TFTC.

15-Apr-17
We have known about this series since it came out with friends living on Ryans Lane and finally we decided to grab it today. Another one the geokids liked. We were at the GZ to discover the first marker, which fitted 100% to the saying. Then off to the right spot for the cache. Nice.

A quick find for geohusband who only took a couple of minutes to solve this riddle. First multi with our friend. This may be her first time hearing about caching, but she's loving it. Tftc Smile and cute puppy dog!

03-Apr-17
Found with Ogston girls Tftc. Had a great time finding these caches. Have to leave now to collect another grandchild but will return to finish the series another time

03-Apr-17
How ironic. I had a little trouble reading the coords as the biro had faded a tiny bit, and was so unconvinced of my accuracy that I didn't search well when we got there. I went back to the posted coords and via several other "possible gz's just in case" I tried again, and then once more for luck. In the end I searched properly and found I had the right place after all so I had been barking up the right tree, the wrong trees, the right tree, a few more wrong trees, and finally the right tree again. Oh well - got there in the end

Thanks for the multi. Nice to have a little walk amongst the drive ... stop ... drive. TFTC

While staying in Keilor with a friend for a couple of days we decided to get out of the high traffic areas to go caching. This was a series that looked appealing and it did not disappoint. The sayings were all ones we were familiar with and we loved the creativity and so allocate a fav point for each. The multi A stones throw away was more like a Needle in a Haystack as we found the container for wp1 but with no further coords to wp2. So we started looking for a slip of paper but to no avail so we widened our search to a stones throw and after looking in a few likely spots came up with the cache. We then wrote done the coords for wp2 and left it in wp 1. Thank Dutch Frangipani for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area. Big GrinBig Grin

So no barking up the wrong tree for me TTFC
