So l had some spare time, so l thought I would take a drive along a quiet Rd picking up a few caches .. this was an interesting mixed bag of caches great for beginners.some had seen better days others were still in great condition. Most gave me a chuckle, and I surprisingly enjoyed them so much that I did them all.
Next find in what was neat and fun series to do. Weather was good and I took my time and enjoyed the day out. Some great themed caches along the way.
Thanks for the effort with all these. Cache here was all good. Fav point added.

Find number two of the day. I parked nearby after having just found the cache further up the road. Fortunately there didn't appear to be any snakes slithering around so the cache was found very quickly. I took what I thought was the container back to my car to sign the log, only to realise there was nothing in there! I returned to the hiding spot to see if I had missed anything and, sure enough, the logsheet was sitting there in its own little container. After signing the logsheet and replacing it back in its container, I then attempted to place the container into the object I initially located as that's how I feel the CO had hidden this cache. The item I initially found has seen better days, but the logsheet was still suitable to sign.

We just got back from overseas yesterday and the countries visited had hardly any caches, so we are well behind in this month's wheel of challenge. So, a huge day of caching: ad labs, trads and of course hunting out those with lots of favourite points. I can see why this one has lots of points, and we added another point too.
What a great series this is. Love the cache containers and the fun I had finding the. Fantastic TFTC. The lid I cracked and may need replacing soon.
Out this way for work today so decided to collect a bunch of smiley faces. The weather was terrible and the slippery road made the voyage a little longer than expected. container has seen better days!
Thanks for the hide

We had a lovely day caching in the Toolern Vale area with Boabtree.
What a great series this is, all relating to sayings.
We didn’t meet Joe Blake fortunately, but did find a very sodden logbook and broken cache. We added a new piece of paper with our names on it.
Thanks sorceysal and Dutch Frangipani.

Thanks sorceysal and Dutch Frangipani.
Out and about with Echidna44, I saw a Joe Blake very recently while out caching in Warrandyte. He was happy to leave me alone and I was happy for him to do so. This was another easy find for us, and we did not see any sign of Joe or his friends. The log was sodden, so we added a fresh piece of paper with our names on it.
While staying in Melbourne we picked up a few caches in the area and this was one of them.
What a fantastic series, really enjoyed the theme. Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks sorceysal and Dutch Frangipani for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

After the event and CITO this morning, I headed towards Sunbury, picking up some trads along the way. I was expecting the cache to be attached to a fake snake - how wrong was I?
Many thanks to Dutch Frangipani & sorceysal for the cache.

Always on the watch for Joe Blakes but yet to see one..no doubt Joe Blake has spied me! Anticipation has become high now that I've had a taste of Dutch Frangipani & sorceysal caches and humour. Returning to home base in the NE via circuitous route as I’m on a mighty large LGA and multi mission so it’s Melton here I come today. It’s been hugely interesting to be in the flat country and witness the urban expansion but a relief to get marginally hillier or maybe rolling is the name in this basalt country. TFTC and the FUN - glad I came!

Another one I had to explain to the king- but he didn’t get it until it was explicit, but with the warm weather, longer grasses and the dry wood, we were on high alert but none found today!
Haven’t seen one of these since my girl guide days, the creativity is amazing!
Got to spend father day with my son today. He's 13, so geocahing isn't as cool as it once was, but we had fun anyway. Thanks for the caches though...
We certainly did. Not sure how the log book in this one is so dry as the container has had it.

I've noticed that this one appears to have gone missing.
I am heading out this way during the week and will take a look and repair if needed.
Will advise when it is back in action.

This was a quick find though I was almost certain what we were looking for and Mr H thought something else!
Had to make a trip to the airport today so decided to do a few caches on the way home. My usual way through Sunbury was held up by a traffic accident so i looped around via m80, found a new lot of caches to tackle and away i go. The log fir this one was on the ground and soggy but i was able to sign it and snug it back in its cache. The geopooch also found a treat, (the dead sheep) and now my life smells like misery. Happy travels!
Out with Bogonghazy for a midweek drive and fitting in a sone Geocaching. Thanks for placing the geocache. Nice hide
Sunday morning out at Animal Land Petting Zoo in Diggers Rest and thought i do a few caches on the way home while the little slept.

Melbourne Cup Monday the unofficial Public Holiday!!! We decided last week to go for a drive to visit Regional Vic, we headed up towards the airport and headed north winding our way to Romsey for Lunch, across and over Mount Macedon before venturing south and finishing up near Calder Park, We ended up with 30 finds, one DNF, and lots of laughs. Thanks for all the cache owners for placing their caches.
Awesome container, it was signed on the bonnet of the geocar, wow who would of thunk how high ppl jump when the horn gets tooted!!

There was a huge spider on the back of this cache that freaked our little one out!
A commitment near here with some time to spare meant a few quick caches. I’ve visited this series a few times now and still have more to find. Great effort and thought has gone into each hide - well done. Thankfully all were easy finds. Thanks for the cache.
On a road trip to Bendigo when we spotted these caches with a large number of favourites so detoured off the highway to check them out. It was Mrs Pooky who made a quick easy find in the first place she looked. There was no snakes around today that we saw although it was the perfect whether. TFTC
Found at 9:56 am.
Today Fleabag- wanted to find his 6,000th cache with me before he headed off on a work trip so a lofty goal of 74 caches was needed but we got there even though 3 caches into the day the low pressure tyre warning flashed up on the dashboard and we had a slow leaking flat tyre. We mucked around for way too long trying to work out how to change it. It was on the drivers side too ... the wheel that wasn't pulling off onto the side of the road all the time?? I haven't had a flat tyre for probably 20+ years and RACV changed that last one. So for the rest of the day the paranoia of having another flat was hanging over my head and occasionally with the non alloy spare wheel the tyre pressure sensor failure message starting coming up on the dashboard instead. We made it though without another flat on a LOT of gravel roads that Fleabag- managed to keep finding.
No Joe Blakes today, they would have froze. Nice quick find though.
Thanks Dutch Frangipani & sorceysal for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Started the day needing 74 more for my 6000. And my awesome geobuddy was the person I wanted to share this with. The cache is not that important, it's the adventure. So off we went heading north with a mission. And probably lots of maccas.
Took a little while here.
Thanks to Dutch Frangipani & sorceysal for the placement and fun.

We set out this morning for a caching run with ilook4geo and tried to cover a variety of cache types, various sizes and caches of particular interest. This series covered a lot of these targets.
This was an easy cache to find and we look forward to each of the caches in this series of "sayings".
Thanks for a fun series go to sorceysal and Dutch Frangipani and thanks for all the relevant camo used.

Out for the day on a cache hunt with goingplaces2. We found a total of 42 for the day and had a lot of fun. This was one of the ones we found and signed. TFTC.
Luckily we didn’t see any “Blake’s”, as last time we did, I nearly bumped poor Roaming Howie into it
Thanks!
Thanks!
I'm so glad there was no Joe blake here, real or not. Prop snakes aren't good. We are meant to be scared of snakes. Not encouraged to pick up fake ones.
Smiled here. No Joe Blakes.

Today I decided that I would head towards the Sunbury area as for some reason I haven't cached there yet. I have wanted to do the TSS series for a while and today was my chance.
A quick find at the GZ. TFTC.

A unique cache that I had not seen before. Thankfully no joe blakes to see today. Thanks Dutch Frangipani for your efforts in placing this cache for us to find.
I haven't heard this saying before but I was impressed by where it was.. I wonder how they did it? Thank you
I enjoyed finding the caches in this series today. The different nature of the hides made for a fun experience. most were found without too many problems. TFTC
Thanks for cache although i couldnt sign the log as its completly waterlogged. And smells as if its been that way for quite some time. Request for the owner to check this one out! Thanks guys
The end of the month was almost upon us and I hadn't quite reached 100 caches. I'd originally planned to leave two particular series' along with the original TSS and a smattering of others for 50 in a day but the desire to reach 100 for the month took precedence.
I didn't manage the 50 yesterday so I was back again today to get the numbers up. The caches were of high quality, there were few muggles about and the worst that could be said was that the weather was a little too warm for my linking. Almost all the caches were found in good condition barring Wet your Whistle and it's neighbours to either side. The logs really need replacing as they are more than a little damp. I'm sorry that I didn't have replacements to hand.

Tell you what if I saw a Joe Blake I’d either cark it or scoot faster than a crow with a cracker up his bum! This cache was on our map so we stopped by.
Thanks for placing TSS - Watch out for Joe Blakes so we could find it. Many thanks Dutch Frangipani for the caching fun.

With a souvenir to be earned, I had planned to get an early start on building my score. But as the great Scots poet said, the best laid plans of mice and men... So, with other commitments earlier in the month and weather not conducive to caching for the last week or so, it was that HerIndoorsOutdoors and I found ourselves on a last day of the challenge out on a mini-power trail.
I had turned out with the whole kit for the hunt, but was relying primarily on the old faithful iPhone which today. This was the second cache that the iPhone GPS didn't want to play the game and kept pointing me in the wrong direction. Rather than break out the real GyPSy we persevered with caching instincts and successfully located the hide.

After nearly a month of no real time to hunt, RGSBruce and I were making a last minute run at finding enough caches to earn a souvenir (two today as it turns out) and did a little mini-power trail around Plumpton and Melton today. After doing a couple of the RRR series along the Melton Highway, we headed up Leakes Road, picking up a couple of other caches on the way to start this series.
After RGSBruce's iPhone GPS decided it wanted to make things more interesting for us at the last cache, and not cooperate close to GZ. It continued to make the hunt a bit more of a challenge than it had to be, but that really just adds to the fun.

Found while heading down to Melbourne for the weekend.
Well a trip that would normally take a little over 2.5 hours to do, today took a happy (and a little bit zig zaggy) 8.5 hours.
And a few more than 55 stops to grab the caches on my hit list. All ranging from micros up to larges.
With the day being a scorcher out on the game board ment that water was needed all the while. And plenty of sunscreen.
Thankfully with all the bark, logs, bushes and false tops moved to access caches no snakes were out, me thinks it was too hot for them today too.
This was my second series today and once again the series of caches here were all great fun hides with good themed caches. Once again it was well worth the detour off the main Hwy on my way to Melbourne.
All caches found were in good order, unless stated above.

We were glad that there were no Joe Blakes visible in the area today. We did stamp our feet in the hope that if there were aroung they would slide away.
We had no trouble locating the container however the log book was a soggy mess. We left a replacement log in a sealled bag. The plastic tube needs replacing as it is no longer water tight.
Thanks for this cache Dutch Frangipany and sorcesal. This cache could do with a little tlc
