TFTF! Clue was spot on. We discovered that we forgot a pen once we made it to GZ so we left some stickers in lieu of signing the cache
Only cache completed today needed a drive many thanks for cache & fresh log sheet - TFTC / TFTH / SL
Reperio 16:12Day 5 of our Newcastle geocaching escapade, and Master Vitruvius and I headed towards the Belmont and Swansea areas before making our way slowly towards Sydney. after grabbing number 10 in the series, we moved onto this one where the cache was soon found.Log is soaked and mushy. Will need to be replaced.Gratias ShockersAs a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
Needed to do a trip out to one of our aircraft Wide Area Multilateration Remote Units (aircraft surveillance) at Calga today, to do the annual maintenance checks, and ducked out during my lunch break to have a look at a couple of caches along Ross Road. First arrived at the nearby "ALOKA STUPA - "GARLIC", but roadworks were occurring right at that cache's location, so I continued along the road to this one. Parked on the side of the road, and then headed off into the roadside scrub to GZ for a nice quick find. Log was a sodden mess, and totally unsignable, so took a photo of it instead. Now it's back to the worksite. TFTC Shockers.Find #6818
Walked straight past it as I followed a small geotrail. On my way back, towards the road, spied the hide from a distance, thanks for this series

After a visit to the Glenworth Valley Food & Drink Festival, we drove a bit further for a few caches to meet our monthly challenge.
A quick dash into the shrubs where the hinted object was found. Cache was found quickly.

Found it. Kinda wish I didn't have the kids with me so I could climb those rocks and check out the view! Thanks!
A bit of a drive by cache for me here knowing I needed to get one today to help fill up my 365 days of caching grid!. I used the hint and made a quick find before heading off to work. TFTC

After a peaceful morning in Popran with barefootjeff and Mighty Minions, we decided on a walk up a brushy hill for a trigpoint cache.
After descending the hill, we went for the pigeon pair of trads in here. This was a fast find, thanks to a helpful hint.... TFTC!

Saw this on the map after doing a nearby trig and it was a waste not to drive along and get a few more finds, after a bit of searching here at GZ we had the cache in hand!

Check carried out today. Wet log replaced in container and all in good condition.
We decided to start this series with a site we were less familiar with.
The kids spotted the hide for this one from the road and after a quick scramble we had logbook out, only to realise that we left the pen in the car. A quick jog down the road by The oldest soon solved this problem and we were on our way.
TFTC, our first in this series.

A quick find thanks to good coordinates and a generous hint. The log is quite damp, so I could only leave a partial signature without tearing it.
Beautiful day. Found with Eilox867 and Bradleypartridge. Be careful not to tread on the healthy looking little patch of flannel flowers. Just a few in flower today.
It was easier to put a new container in place than to retrieve the old one. Next cacher will have a new log to sign. Enjoy!
I had the faith that I would find this, and I did. However a miracle or a TOTT will be required by the mb ext finder as the cache container separated from its hanger as I replaced it. (Still obtainable by one of several means). OCW MaxAdventurer. TFTC
This morning I was heading up to Mangrove Mountain for an X0th surprise birthday celebration. It was raining at home so I left early but by the time I was on the M1 it had cleared and I arrived up here early.
Good - time for some caches!
I made a quick find down the road and then headed along to CAW #7. It was a nice area with Flannel Flowers growing along the roadside and plenty of native plants in flower. A couple of different species of Honeyeater were busily feeding while I was here. I could also see bee hives in the neighbouring property.
It was a little damp scrambling to GZ but I wasn't going to be defeated by a bit of water and soon had CIH. I spent a minute admiring the brand new logsheet and pretending to be FTF then signed the sheet and returned the cache to its hiding spot.
Oh, and the birthday really was a surprise and lots of fun!

With the 7-day streak promotion announced at short notice on Saturday, I started looking around for unfound caches not too far from home and decided it was about time I paid this one a visit. At first I picked the wrong hinted-at object, of course, but after realising there were others I made a quick find. Many thanks for the hide and this series.
Kewl cache location. Found with Taylapearce3, GeoJess, and the MadDawg. Our 2nd CAW TFTC!
We carried out a cache check today - this one is in place, in good condition and with a new log. An extraction tool would help!!
TFTC however I couldn’t get the log out. I tried and tried but it started to break up. I will send a photo to prove I found it. I never knew this was here. Thanks for bringing me here. Yes the sandstone is fantastic.
Found with Key_Tat and Viper_101... nice find in an amazing setting... love the sandstone nearby. TFTC.
July 2018 Weekend trip to Watagen National park for the Lake Macquarie History series with Fiztzy_1965 and MinnieK.

Thanks.

16,186. Found during a trip up north with minniek and Albida33 for the LMHS Series and many other caches along the way.
Headed up to the Newcastle region with an aim to tackle the LMHS Series (which we solved for the recent Mega but didn't have the time for that weekend) and as many bonus caches along the way. With a few hours up our sleeves during the drive up we diverted off the highway for some caches in the Classic Motorcycles Series and some others. This was the next stop for the day. Quick find at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache, and we headed off to the next one.
Thanks Shockers !!

Headed for a weekend away with fitzy_1965 and albida33 with the aim to collect the LMHS puzzle caches. Started our trip early Friday and back home Sunday afternoon collecting just over 120 caches along the way.
All caches found quickly and easily unless otherwise stated. Log is full.

Came for a day out of caching with the family and are doing caches between Mooney Mooney and Kariong. This is #6 for the day.
Found 7:14 pm. In the area after seeing my son off at his graduation dinner. So decided to look for caches as I don't come up this way very often at all. Parked the geovehicle nearby and headed over to GZ. I was in a business suit and and it was warm and by now I had lost the coat and tie. I was hopeful this time of finding the cache. Looking around GZ I noted possible locations given the hint and moved to one and after s brief look first at the wrong end I found the cache at the other end. Pleased I had now found a cache and without spending a silly amount of time. I signed the log and returned the cache to its hiding spot.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
A short detour on my way to Alice Cooper concert at Newcastle tonight. Saw a few of the hint before compass led me to the correct one. All good inside. TFTC

The Geowife has a card making class today on the Central Coast - and as it goes ALL day, I've thoughtfully volunteered to do chauffeur duties... So what will I do between 9am and 6pm? I wonder...
As I'd already cleared out the caches near the class venue (and needed breakfast and petrol) I knew I realistically had 8 solid hours of caching, so decided on a circular route and had hoped to find 30 - 35 caches, including a few bush ones. Didn't quite work out that way as I had a few long DNFs. In the end found 27 - probably could have got 30 if not for driving past a few due to not spotting parking possibilities. And didn't get to the final area I was targeting near Narara where I'd even solved a few puzzles.
But a good day, with plenty of driving for *The Hademobile*.
And in the mix was my 4400th find. Decided to let that one fall where it may. That required 26 finds today, so thankfully I did just get there.
Thanks to **xPhenoms**, whose *Motorcycle* series provided many of the day's finds - parking for which I suspect is easier if travelling by motorcycle!
I also grabbed a few of **Shockers'** *CAW* series.
I'll try to make one or two unique comments for each cache, but so many to do...
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Walked from my last find.
Floundered around for a minute or two, then spotted something.
Sigh. Got to be there. and it was.
Completed signing duties and replaced. Then back to the car.

Tftc, after finding the nearby garlic bulb I drove the short distance down here. A jump up the slope and I spotted the clue related object and part of a cache securing device hanging out. The cache was nice and dry! Signed, sealed, delivered!

Meeting a friend for lunch in Umina so took the morning to explore around the Mangrove area. This was the first find for the day. Initially went a bit too far before noticing the one hidden near the tree.

Headed up the coast to see if we could find a few of the CAW series. This was an easy find with the clue. After finding the cache we visited the stupa. It was very peaceful up there on the hill, and we could also hear the bellbirds singing away.

Today I am on my way north to Gosford from Sydney. But have arrived quite a bit early.
Well, I have time to find a few caches.
A bit of a search here before the GPSr settled down and I made the find.
Thanks for the cache.

As it was a very quiet afternoon on this road we were able to make a quick park and scramble over to the GZ to search. Hint helped us hone in quickly and once the log was signed we headed up to the stupa for a look. Thanks for bringing us here Shockers.
23/11/15. 8:36 AM. Cache #3232. Streak day #519.
3rd of 6 today - Calga, Peats Ridge & Somersby.
Just a little further down the road from ALOKA STUPA - "GARLIC", and I parked as close to GZ as I could get. From the hint, I first started looking for one sort of alignment on the ground, but when I turned around the right way, I found what I was looking for in a different alignment. Easy find from there - signed, replaced and continued north to "Station, FOUR !!!" next. TFTC.

Decided to take a run out along Peats Ridge and do the Motorcycle Series. While I love the concept and the information provided in the caches, the hides themselves are unimaginative, boring and some border on dangerous. But thank you all the same for the aforementioned reasons.
This was the eighteenth of 22 today and a strange spot to be honest, but thanks for the cache.

Taking a newbie around and showing her the ropes. Found with Tsyeymtaronyu. T4TC
I had no intention to go for geocaching today. The day was beautiful and I just went for a bushwalking. After 4 hours, I decided to get at least one cache (that end up getting 3).
After finding DOC-WHO cache in the same street, I went to get one more of the Caw series. Snakes free, quick finding! Thanks Shockers! Well constructed!

We were having a nice drive through the area today collecting caches along the way. This was a easy find which I am grateful for as it was very hot and I was wary of snakes. Thanks for the cache Shockers tnln sl
What a beautiful spot. Flag iris and flannel flowers and some beautiful rocks and a great tit on the hill. Tftc tnln
Getting a bit sick of driving around suburbia to go caching, I decided to return to how things used to be in the early days when I lived in Adelaide and would often do a big loop of up to 200km to get a few finds. Being only minutes from the start of the M1 makes the Central Coast a good target and I picked a loop from Mt White up to Peats Ridge and back onto the freeway. And it was a lot more enjoyable than stop start driving in town! A fairly easy find here, thanks to the hint. Thanks Shockers.
