We had a look where we thought and King T climbed down into the scrub and had a look, but no luck
We made the trek up, and unfortunately, after searching all possible locations, we had to walk away empty handed. Managed to get a few nice happy snaps however.
Sent the CO some picts of where we believe the cache was supposed to be.
Thanks anyways wobblywallabies

pretty confident I was looking in the right spot but there was no cache there.
I reckon its fallen in the scrub.

A small adventure to Mt Sugarloaf to grab a few caches and check out the views.
It was a short, steep climb up to the top but its well worth the effort.
A few muggles about but they soon moved on and we had the CIH, log signed and returned before the next lot arrived.
Great views from up here.

Found. 23/2/19 with aussieben and kingfisherau. Down in the hunter Valley visiting family for 4 days and have the geocaching bug. Spent the day visiting some caches with dad and the younger brother as they are trying to qualify for a terrain/difficult challenge.
Some caches they had already found but we patient enough or even assisted at times to ensure another smiley face on the map. Beautiful weather with light rain most of the day in the low twenties. And at times where some caches allowed great views the sun appeared. A great day in the hunter caching with family. We are hooked on the geocaching bug again.
Many thanks to all Co's and most caches were in great condition considering the recent rain.

Out with Snakepiters to find this cache. Happily we were able to find gz and claim our prize. We are enjoying our time using Kurri Kurri sports club camp as our base. Thanks to wobblywallabies for hiding this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
After setting up camp at the Kurri Kurri sports club we ventured out with pprass, Liz and Bruce, snakepiters & coongoola to find a few caches, we headed out in convoy.
We found a combination of puzzles & traditionals, finishing up on Sugarloaf Mountain for lunch.
We had ventured up the mountain for a specific DT cache which we didn't complete. This was a steep climb up to the summit sure lets you know how unfit you are. Great views from up here.
Thanks for placing this cache wobblywallabies

Out and about with Dimorgan, Liz and Bruce, Pprass and Snakepiters. Lots of great caches around Kurri to be found.
Awesome views from up here and this is where we decided to have lunch. From here we wandered up further to find some caches near the top.

A nice quick find after seeing the likely spot.
My very first time here. Have always meant to come here but never did, even during my childhood. One of those things that the locals know about but never do.
Checked out the view and enjoyed the quick simplicity of this one. Went to the Obelisk later and looked back on the place just visited plus a great sunset - Pretty cool. Lots of plaques.
Thanks for the cache!

Out for the day in the spring weather. Enjoying the scenery. Thanks for the adventure.
Muggled today. Tried to out wait them but looks like rain approaching so will come back another time. Thanks for the walk with a rewarding view at the top!
After a bit of a search around, and avoiding muggles spotted it down the cliff, i have retrieved it and placed it back where i thought it may of been!
Found it, i can see it... but no way to access the container, it just gone down below... Needs to be checked....
Wow some amazing views form the summit, once I made to the top. I think I need some more exercise and don't look down the stairs when going up. After the long hall up there were some muggles up there, when one lot left anther turned up. we looked for spots for a sneaky hide but could not see where. Finally there was no one around so a more serious search was on. We did see where it should be and did see where it was.
I have logged it as a find, however unless you climbed the fence and do some mountain climbing there is no way to access the container. It looks like it has been knocked from its magnetic holding spot, it is sitting on the rock well below. I do have a photo of it for the CO if needed for evidence.
Thanks for the cache wobblywallabies. Lil Donna

Even at 9pm on a week night had to wait for 4 muggles to leave. Tricky find in the dark.

A quick run up the hill this morning for a quick find. I love it up here, always great views. More people should come up here. I’ll give this a favourite point simply for the location. I feel like this is the third time I’ve been up here for a cache.
Thanks wobblywallabies for the cache.

The track to the summit is not that obvious! We might have missed it had it not been for geocaching. Walked the tracks around and gazed from the lookouts, but there is still a cache left to find. Up we go and the view is amazing. Gotta be careful retrieving this one!
Thanks for the cache wobblywallabies, took nothing, left nothing, signed the log and the trackables visited.

After registration at the MEGA site we started our run for the day. Not many hides found as we were doing the competition tour. Took 7 hours to drive the 160 k approximate route. Had to come up here for an answer for the competition so why not get at least one hide found up here. 1630 and the Welcome event starts 40K away at 5pm. Good walk up here. The steps are interesting.

This one took a fair bit of searching with a combined total of 6 eyes. Mainly due to my phone showing the coords 10m out, but it played up a bit later in the day so maybe the coords are accurate.
As mentioned by previous finders cache has been flattened.
Some lovely views from up here!!!
Thanks!

I'm going to claim a find on this one as I found and retrieved the cache container but as others have said, there's no way to access the log as the container is completely crushed. Hope the CO rectifies this ASAP.
I did have to wait a while for some muggles to leave so I could return the cache. Glad to finally convert my blue grumpy face into a smiley. Cheers.

A nice afternoon walk around Mount Sugarloaf! A steep climb to the top, cache found by geohusband once the other viewing muggles had disappeared.
