Time to archive this one, but it's a nice area so we may look for another spot in future.
Walked on from the nearby challenge cache and searched here for a while, initially at what we thought was the hint item and then broadened our search, but all to no avail and we needed to get back on the road to our next hostel.
Not convinced it isn't on site, and perhaps we were reading the hint too literally, but no cache found by us here

Found it with MrsTryfyn as part of the Show Me The Ropes Challenge. Lovely little path in the late sunshine. TFTC. Dropped off a TB.

We have replaced this with a new container and have moved it's position slightly. Hope this will keep it drier and muggle-free for a while longer! New co-ords coming soon.
While doing maintenance on our other caches in the area, we checked on this one and it appears to be missing. Disabling until we can get back to replace it.
Great walk through the park and along the water. I hope the creek is fresh water as geo-dog had a big drink. Cache was exposed with the lid not on properly so I returned it as intended, all good. Tftc
Used to walk this area regularly when I lived in Greerton many years ago. Nice to revisit the area. Quick easy find. Thanks for the cache
Re-visiting with Ellteeka as part of the Show Me The Ropes challenge.
All good here, thanks nzkites

Lovely walk along from Fraser Cove looking and listening to all the birds. TFTC
Found it. None of the toys I bought would fit in, but left a badge I retrieved from another cache and a spider. Cool hiding place. I put a log over it as was really exposed when I got there TFTC
We walked down from Yatton Park. Last time we were here, the shrubs and saplings along the top of the stopbank were still there, although the one with the cache in it had been cut down, but we managed to find the little cache that was still hanging on.
My cache sense took me straight to this one. I left a butterfly I had picked up at the giants and a rattll rock, 'F'. We got some more numbers too.
We hadn't been along this path before. It's not the time for blossom, but we enjoyed the stretch of our legs.

Out cacheing with Tigatat2 for the day.
Parked up and off walking along the wetland area.
Eventually reached GZ, checked the hint and tiga quickly located this cache.
No one around so log out and signed. Got clue for the mystery cache. All in good and dry condition.
Nice area for a quiet sunday walk

Out caching with My.Precious. Nice hide, got into range of GZ then looked for likely spot. Cache was soon in hand. TFTC
1560 Nice walk around from Yatton Park. Afraid no birdsong today but then it was mid afternoon and the sun was shining very hot so they were probably having a siesta. Cache was out in the open so replaced and hid.
Nice little spot. We run through here regularly but too hot today. Thanks for bringing us here
This has been on the to do list for a while really enjoyable walk and nice to be in the shaded areas on a hot day nice easy find and quick sign and pleased to tick it off tftc
Re-found today looking for clues for The Walk n The Park puzzle cache. Found in good condition and nicely hidden.
# 371. Continuing our walk in Yatton Park, although the family's desire to continue caching was starting to wane in the heat. Pretty area along this part of the track. Good hint. Tftc!
Decided to go for an evening walk and take B's dad along. A quick find of the cache and then it was like oh no do we have a pen. Lucky there was still one in a pocket from earlier!!! Tftc

Out on an epic caching adventure with HKCB, iammrwalker and 11hpg11 as an honourary guest and the 'K' in signature 1HIK or HIK1 to make a dent in the caches of Tauranga.
After my successful finding two caches for one at the last cache, I raced HKCB for this one and won. Woohoo!

This geocache was found on my third trip to Tauranga/ The Mount/ Papamoa in the company of HKCB and 11hpg11 with a plan to clear out the area. We were joined today by Kyb3r another Hamilton Geocacher who was keen to be part of an infamous ‘mad mission’. We signed the logs with an anachronism of our Geocaching handles, usually ‘1HIK’ or ‘HIK1’. There were plenty of memorable moments and a lot of laughs as well. It was another long day; I got up at 4am and didn’t get to bed until midnight. We were a little disappointed not to meet our goal only getting about half way through our list of unfound caches. However we did tackle a number of difficult and complicated hides. We found some great and memorable caches and of course now have a great excuse to organise another trip to the area. Thanks to all the CO’s who provided us with such a great day out.
Having found the last couple of caches 11hpg11 and I were referring to Kyb3r as our Padawan challenging him to channel the force and find this one as well. Sure enough he beat HKCB to it. Yes the force is strong in this one.

Another big mission for our little Hamilton team. Maybe this time we can clean out Tauranga and the surrounding areas. Our team consisted of HKCB, Iammrwalker, Kyb3r and myself. We signed the logs as HIK1 (or 1HIK as the day went on!) Another 4am wakeup and we were on the road by 5am. Back home by 11pm I think it was, it was all kind of a blur by then! We were fueled by Sour Patch Kids, B.K., Caffeine and quite a few painkillers. We had a great day with a large variety of cache types, sizes and difficulty! Thanks to all the cache owners for their hard work on giving us some great quality caches to find. We had a few milestones hit today and I think we all had a great time. Looks like we might be back again some time in the future!
Not many birds out today but there were some caches so all is good. Thanks for the cache.

This is the 3rd mission over to Tauranga in recent months with 11HPG11 and iammrwalker to turn the place into a bunch of similes, but this time Kyb3r joined in on the fun also. An early start from Hamilton meant we were greeted by a fantastic sunrise of Tauranga as we made our way down from the Kaimai's, and by the time we had decided we had had enough the sun had well and truly gone to bed, but we did see it disappear while halfway up the Mount.
We found some great caches throughout the day and had some very memorable moments, and I even hit a major milestone, my 5000th cache find. We signed the logs 1HIK (an acronym of our caching names) or some combination of these letters to save room on the logs. A big thanks to everyone for all of the great cache hides.
Kyb3r went on side, I went the other. Kyb3r won the race and located the cache. Thanks for the hide.

No tuis today but a couple of sparrows put on a bit of a show at the stream! Good hiding spot!
Visited cache today while doing the Show Me the Ropes challenge with kiwihaast. Not quite where we remembered placing it but a good hiding spot.
Lots of Tui's playing in the trees on the walk down. A bit wet around cache site but got the job done.
Loved hearing and seeing the birds. Took a while to find the right spot to look but found it in the end. Kids swapped a couple of things.
Really enjoyed the walk here despite the odd showers.
Thanks for bringing me back here.
Cache in good order. SL

Had a good hunt around, and then suddenly spotted the cache lying out in the open. All seemed fine with the cache contents. We put the cache in what we thought was its original hiding spot. Neat treasures!
This one took awhile as co-ordinates seem out so had to use the brain and check out the pics, found where we kept skimming over, took ladybug and left green car
We have uplifted this today to avoid it being taken in the Estuary Cleanup on the weekend.
Miss five very pleased when she found this all by herself. Even more impressed when this one had swaps in. TFTC
#320 - After taking the dog to the vet, decided on giving her a nice walk down here by the estuary. Nice and quite down here this morning. TFTC.
A quick find here with Sabre2th and stik-a-crane to try and grab all the clues for the multi.
I like caching in a group.

Out with team Sabre2th - completing the puzzle cache -walking a track these locals have never had time to walk before and exercising the hound .... a quick find was made here by a member of team sabre2th ... log signing duties done and off for the next one ....
Today was my first visit to tauranga for work so Knowing I needed a few caches to make up my personal challenge I arrived over here nice and early so as to be able to collect them.
At this time of the morning everything was nice and quiet so there was no problems with interested muggles. Popped down to this one as thought I may have enough time to grab these last two but time aside I only had time for this one as otherwise I would be rushing it for my first appointment.
thanks for the placement

Quickly found before scooting back to the car to pick Mrs S up from her shopping. Cache all good. Thank you for the cache, a nice walk in the afternoon sun.
Out on an afternoon drive with Mum, the kids and the dog... A brilliant day to be out of the house...
I hadn't intended on walking down the alley, but we were driving by and it was now or never... The dog and I took the Esk Street entry and right away, noticed that there weren't many birds serenading us... one lone tui. There were more people walking the path than birds singing. Anyway, fortunately, the cache was a quick find. TFTC.

Another nice quick find here while enjoying our walk around Yatton Park this afternoon. TFTC!
Finally found it it's been weeks. I think this one might have been moved at some point we have tried looking for it for the last couple of weeks. TFTC
Out on a school holiday afternoon adventure with kids and friends taking turns on these caches within close proximity. Best location ever for kids to geocache cos there's lots in a small area. Well done! TFTC
11.25am - Easy walk from Fraser St, seemed every muggle I passed had dogs. Only one place this cache could be, easy find. SLTFTC
ah ha - lucky last! Off to the Fifth off Fraser then on our way to solve the puzzle. Thanks guys - I'm a happy chappy now
Had a great time revising this lovely park. Had to do a bit of ducking and diving as the ground staff were in the area but that was no problem as we were on our bikes. Hopefully they just thought we kept getting lost. The park is looking stunning and there were lots of people out enjoying it. TFTC series...
