Easy find thanks to the hint. Retrieving from hiding place required more strength then expected. TFTC!
TFTC Found with AmazingGracieGrace & MissCharlieBear who swapped SWAG whilst I signed the logbook. SL RAF.We spotted kangaroos nearby.
We stayed overnight nearby, so made this our first stop for today. We managed to drive nearly all the way to GZ where we made a quick find. Thanks youngoldfella
Stayed overnight with rellies who live not far from here so this was the first on the list for the morning. Cache found safe and dry. TFTC
We were up in Nanango visiting my aunt and uncle, and decided to pick up a few more caches around the town, this being the first one of the day. We followed your directions to access the cache, and found it to be an easy and comfortable way to do it. Nobody around in the crisp morning at this hour and a quick find at GZ. I also now know what they do with all the old plastic flowers! TFTC, youngoldfella. =^.^=
On our way home from Kingaroy we stopped to pick up a few caches that we didn’t have. Grabbed this one quickly. Tftc
A very last minute decision sees me driving a couple of hours north to spend the day in Nanango…
A great day driving the country roads collecting a variety of caches…

Stopping in Nanango for a couple of days, no need to rush to QOGM 22. Got into the caravan park early and set off for some caches. Some caches were damp, but understandably after the amount of rain the area has had. Great containers John and easily with standing the natural elements. Only one DNF on todays adventure.

On the hunting trail again with SeasonedBird (aka Mrs Geo, Salty Chook, the Old Boiler, Old Chook, Dirty Bird, Angry Bird & occasionally even Love Bird). It’s a great day for caching.

Two TASSIES still out and about, but turned the corner and heading for home. Second day in Nanango "camped" at a rather "unusual" caravan/motorhome park to say the least ! A little sortie this morning yielded this cache. Thought this one might have been burnt, given all the blackened trees and ground all around GZ. But the cache is very snug in a good hiding place. Thanks for another one.
Rode down to this one and there was a fires still smouldering in places in the area of GZ. Although the fire has burnt right round the hiding place all is still OK.
Although there was still plenty of caching to be done in Kilkivan it was time to move on as we work our way home. Today it was to Nanango, not long drive but quite interesting through the rolling hills. We cached on the way again but were more restricted on the busier road with a van in tow. We bypassed a number we were not comfortable pulling up for.
On arrival at Nanango we set up camp and then after lunch at a bakery in town took the bikes of the back and rode the bike loop caching as we went. A great way to see some of the town on cooler day.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache youngoldfella.

We had planned a road trip to Queensland to visit family in 2021, but our travel plans were stalled due to border closures during the COVID-19 pandemic. Now that the world was trying to get back to a semi normal state, we decided to have another go at getting away from the cold and head up north for some sunshine and warmth.
Day 13 - Staying in Nanango for a few days to catch up with family. We decided to go for a drive to Kingaroy to head to the peanut factory to later find out it is actually closed for tours. Damn Covid. But still liked checking out the place and picking up a few caches even visited the Peanut van when we had finished.
All caches were found in good condition unless otherwise mentioned.
Thanks youngoldfella for the placement and keeping this hobby alive.

Another peaceful spot for a cache. The log book is drying out, although going mouldy, but we were able to log our find. Thanks
Tftc YOF, day out from Nanango today to collect a few caches that we missed out on last time we were in the area
Weather fabulous , but will get warmer .

Up for the weekend to do a bit of cycling. Happy to Cycle a few caches in a circuit along here.
Another nice quiet place in Nanango. We quickly had the cache in hand. No. 48 for today.. tick tock.... nearly at our goal of 50. The end of the day is coming close. We have to be quick. TFTC.
It's been far too many months since The Bromance last went on a weekend geocaching road trip so plans were made a couple of weeks ago for a journey north towards Kingaroy and the surrounding area. Unfortunately Crookedpete was unable to make it due to family commitments so it was a Bromance Lite+ trip of JezNDez, Swellerfungus and Seffnjarah.
Came in the back way via the grassy track (one of the easier routes Victor Del Prado has taken today . As we had not looked that closely at the map we were rather surprised to find ourselves at the back corner of a cemetery! No problem locating the cache. Signed the logbook with The Bromance team stamp. TFTC

Thanks to the cache details we enjoyed the trip in. The back way into the cemetery was interesting. Quick find but a bit damp. Will need CO attention.
TFTC. Our first full day in Nanango. Decisions Decisions. Which way do we go? We decided to stay close to town this morning. A great little circuit. A morning run of 20 finds and 1 DNF. Back in the showgrounds for lunch and we will decide which way to go then. All finds were reasonably straightforward with good co-ordinates.
On a 2 day trip to nanango from brisbane. I know I should be in Brisbane for the mega and I have serious fomo but I will be there for Sunday, Monday. I left my husband at the motel watching ago to find some more caches .
At gz I used the hint to find this cache. Nice cemetery. Thankyou for taking me here and for placing this cache here for us to enjoy

Out caching after staying the night at the Showgrounds....checked out the Markets first thing. They were HUGE. All good with the cache TFTC
Mrs Wombles and I turned down the track and were able to park quite close to gz here. It was very overgrown and we were careful extracting the cache. Once signed I returned but dropped the cover into the overgrown grass and timber behind. As I reached down to retrieve it something moved loudly in the grass near my hand, so we were jumping back and out of there in a heartbeat. Tftc youngoldfella
Stortigirls and I spent the afternoon driving around Nanango picking up caches, incuding this one. It was quite warm out here today. A variety of caches and hides.
Roaming around at night doing the weird stuff geocachers do and noticed this was close. By the look of it's surroundings we thought it couldn't possibly be there but it was.. safe and well matching the hint. TFTC youngoldfella.
Grey nomads, we have been on the road since July 2011 and discovered caching in August 2013. We travel with a bunch of travel bugs belonging to our sons and grand children. Now we having to coped with Corona Virus ..... and social distancing, we are finally free to hit the road, even tho in this instance it is only for two weeks.
Today we are camped in the RV camp in town, and using our GPS as our guide, we are touring Nanango.
Quick find at the end of Wills Street West. Thanks old young bloke...

On our way south after the QOGM event Blackall, grabbing a few caches on the way. How lucky are we, it's all been graded around the stump, but it's still there. We visited your cache at 4:50 pm Logs signed Coongoola or CG. Thanks for placing this cache youngoldfella

Had a fab adventure with Ms Maddy today and over the last few days in her efforts to reach a special milestone at the mega. Much appreciated was the hospitality of YOF and his lovely wife at the end of the day. Out this way we found some very durable caches, a small fluffy animal, some swans, cows, dogs, awesome views and rolling fields, surprisingly a lot of cars heading out on their own adventures, the best bakeries in the country ofcourse and a whole lot of laughter. I am not sure how many we picked up but it was over 50. I really appreciated the work put into the large number of caches at Nanango. I am sorry about the generic logs. and a huge Tftc
The marathon caching run continues and lucky to have Miss Direction’s company for this adventure. There were new places to explore and took pics of black swans and cattle, startled a small furry critter at a cache, ran to some, stumbled to others, drank coffee, peered under and over and around things, scored a few itchy bites, and replaced a couple of missing hides. A fab day out Apols for the generic logs as a few to log tonight.

This was our second weekend out in Nanango travelling the highways and byways searching for Hidden Creatures, finding caches and logging smileys . We dodged truckies and trailers , mud puddles and muggles and clambered over all manner of obstacles in search of the final prizes, all the while trying to keep dry in the drizzle. Thanks to all the CO’s for their efforts in making this a most enjoyable trip. TNLN TFTC .
Crew 153 and I had big plans to try and get 100 caches in a day today.
However, Crew 153's Ford Falcon had other ideas and brought us to a screeching halt at cache number 50 by blowing its fuel pump.
We were both calm and collected about it. We still got 50 caches. Car got safely towed to Kilcoy. Mr Slow Puncture came and rescued us.. and there are still more than enough caches out there for us to try again. There ends my "cut and paste" part of the log
We probably should have driven to this one from where we were - but we needed the exercise anyway. We plodded over the soft ground toward GZ to find the prize safe and sound. We signed the log and re-hid the cache as found. TFTC youngoldfella

Fangsoki and I had picked this area for a day of caching to find caches for the Hidden Creatures Souvenirs and after an early start I finally finished the day with a total of 53 finds when we struck engine trouble and had to abort the mission.
This cache was find number 29 for the day.
WE could have driven a bit closer but decided to stretch the legs a bit and hoofed it up the clearing to get to the cache. All good with this one.

Today's caching hunt was brought to us courtesy of youngoldfella, with his extensive list of caches in and around Nanango. We have had another busy day selecting from the menu on offer and have had a lot of fun.
Apologies for the generic log but that's the way it has to be for us. Each found cache had our name put on its log before it was replaced as it had been found. Thanks, youngoldfella, for the variety of containers and hide types. We only wish we had more time to continue working on your caches.

Quick Bush drive up frank brown road onto Willis st After finding franks mail box, handbrake on Smallwombat was out the door trecking threw the long grass. Tftc! Found on tuesday 27/3/18 sorry on late log
When I arrived near GZ I though that the T rating was a bit off as it looked a lot easier that it was but then boy did I need an extension of my legs. I was nearly tripping over in the long grass and all the time thinking that if I am going to get bitten by a snake it's here. Then I thought I'd be able to run on adrenaline if that's the case and I also thought "what a place to die, in the Cemetery ". Funny what you think when the going gets tough. Cache found easily when I got to GZ and signed the log and replaced cache as found then I thought I'd take the shortest way out but it proved longer grass. Now I see the D/T ratings and I didn't find a slithery friend. TFTC

Our last find in nanango and for the day, as we bid adieu to frank and cross-countryed our assault on the local bushland, stumbling upon the cemetary on our retreat, Halt! I cried, as i flew to unbuckle and saunt on into ye old long grass for a quick and painless sign.
Thanks youngoldfella for some quality entertainment. One of these days i'll have to pick up some more smileys out here.
Found about four in the pm.

I figured out how to get near to this cache thanks to satellite view.... parked nearby and made my way over to... oh yes, just gotta go about 25m past teh 'no entry authorised personnel only' sign, hehehe. I was feeling pretty authorised so I continued and soon found the cache. Quiet neighbourhood. Thanks for the cache, youngoldfella.

Today we headed out on the GeoBikes to explore the area. Managed to find a good number of quality caches both GC and GCA. Thanks for highlighting so many great spots in your Town.

Was able to drive quite close to GZ after detouring from Frank Brown Track tftc
The main problem with this cache was finding our way there but once at GZ, the cache was soon found. TFTC youngoldfella
Interesting. Found it whilst navigating via Frank Brown Rd. Was then confronted by a local landowner demanding to know why i was near her horse paddock. Tried explaining but to no avail. Pretty cranky she was.
Went and checked. This cache is hidden to the north of a gazeted non formed road and if you come via Frank Browns road or the Continuation of Wills Street west over Cairns you have every right to be there.
We are heading toward a milestone event, so we decided to set ourselves a challenge to achieve a few milestones all at once. To manage this however, we have found ourselves on a roadtrip which would provide us with an abundance of caches ... perfect for our requirements.
Fortunately, all the caches we found today seemed to be pretty straight forward and we managed to add our name to the log book without any difficulty.
Thank you youngoldfella for having placed the series and maintaining it for everyone to enjoy
